A test to get out of newbie status would be entirely counter-productive. The point of newbie status is to:
- Create an unavoidable cost associated with creating an account. If you're banned, you've got to do some work to be able to post in regular sections again.
- Contain most spammers and trolls so that their posts can be seen more easily.
A test has no cost for trolls, spammers, and banned users. It has a cost only for legitimate new users, who are exactly the people I want to enter the main forum.
So if you are new user, u have to do same job as banned user to get new acc? That is pointless and just scares away new users who are exactly the people u want to enter the main forum. Does not compute. Me neither, what job? Hanging out for a couple of days in the newbie section and saying hello to a few people before you're allowed to enter the main site? |

^ That's exactly how they do it in Canada, eh You hold the title, The bank or lender has a lien on your title, once paid off title is clear,, Weird thing in Canada is that you can still sell a car with a lien on the title......... I was going to buy a car, my first car 2002 Cavalier and it still had like $7500 owing on it when I went to put the car in my name... Lady at the License office said it's up to me if I want to take that chance.... |

Banks do not hold the title to your car. They have a lean on the title. Not sure where you live but in the US the bank holds the title. At least in every car loan I've ever had. Mine had a lien. In NYC, title was under my name. The car was brand new though, financed through the manufacturer's credit unit. In Canada.. You hold the title, there is a Lien haha I can't spell |

Subaru Imprezza WRX Sti, 4 cylinder turbo, 300+ HP stock, Will blow the doors off of most V8 mustangs no problem.....
