I know there are people get their profit now, they bought their bitcoin on very cheap price and as the bitcoin's price go high there are many dumping their bitcoins. However new investors of bitcoin or should I say newbie on cryptocurrency are panic selling their bitcoin in the mere fact that they bought on ATH all time high price, I love to see that they learn and this is how we welcome all the newbies. Welcome to the cryptocurrency!!! Always learn from the mistake, that's the best strength we can get after losing, that's where we all started.
I love to see it too because they are losing their money but the thing is when they are selling their bitcoins we are also gonna be affected because the bitcoins orice in the market are depending on what will be the behavior of the majority of the people using it. So if the people sell it and a lot of people panic seeling today the price of the bitcoins will go in a down fall so our holdings will also be on a huge drop so as much as i want to see them losing money and me i am gaining. Good day, mates. My strategy is to buy coins when the price drops sharply. Sometimes I fail, because the price drops more than I expected. But, to prevent this worse situation, I put 30% of my budget at the time of initial investment. If the price getting down again, I put 30% more. With this strategy, I am getting some money so far. In conclusion, I recommend you guys to buy coins when they drops rapidly. After sharp drop, there should be sharp rising.  It depends if i have a psare money i will definitely gonna buy a coin which is i know that they will rise back up again in the market in just weeks. Because i will not buy any coin that i cannot gain anything about because that will just be a waste of money. Of course it is a great chance to buy those coin in a much cheaper price because they used to be expensive but they falls unfortunately so i will buy them and sell again when they pump. |

I know there are many big players who manipulate bitcoin price and make huge profits but can we the bitcointalk members also form a cartel and let bitcoin price never fall?is it possible that we manipulate price as I am sure most of bitcoin users visit this forum
I think yes we can somehow manipulate the value of bitcoins by means of buying a smal amount of it like a faker or something like that because if you buy bitcoins then the value will rises and the market will go all green so we can manipulate them but not that huge compared to other altcoins that if you just buy them with this kind of amount the value will be the same as those price. Bitcoins are continuing to fall in the markwt after them gaining for almost a $1000 in the market i thought that it would continue that way but it didn't. Of course i earn money in this thing not necessarily on bitcoins holding itself but i made money in other ways like joining in a signature campaign that makes me gaining more bitcoins and i am not losing bitcoins but rather the bitcoins is losing their value that makes me lose money also because the value of the bitcoins that i am holding is getting lowered too. Come on, the storm must pass, let us focus on the positive topics instead of continuing to discuss this 50% decline. Start talking about the positive news from Singapore deputy, bitcoin that has gone up 20% today and others. Think positive and positive things will come.
Of course having a positive mind can leads into a good vibes that can really help you to boost up your day and to be much more motivated when it becomes into working into cryptocurrency. There are some rumours that the prices would get down again for one or two times before they reincrease to the level around before the latest year end and even higher. Can anyone here enlighten me and newbies like me, which is better to do if that really happens:
1) hold our assets and wait until the market got fully recover to start trading.
2) increase our capital to reduce the average price.
3) sell our assets with the assumptions to got deficit prives, and then rebuy again at this price.

What you need to do is just stay calm and be patient when it becomes in holding your coins especially if you know that your coins is a successful ones because the more successfully your holdings are the lower the possibility that your monwy will entirely fall because the more the people sell the more the coin will fall so if they are already falling dont be part of them that sells too because you are gonna make the price much more to a downfall be patient. |

I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.

Yes i still support ethereum because i have ethereum so i need to stay positive and be patient and to believe that the ethereum will rise even more in the market just how the bitcoins behave. I have been in the market for awhile, and always hear the same mantra about trading to hold more Bitcoin and not Fiat. I bought into the same mentality for a long time, but I'm changing my tune. In almost every industry, first generation leaders are replaced by competition. From Sears, Kmart, Nokia, Motorola, Yahoo, MySpace, etc. Although Bitcoin is the current crypto reserve currency, I think that its dominance is threatened by ALT coins with faster, cheaper transactions and greater scalability. What do you think? Is it smart to hold Bitcoin as a long-term investment, or are there better choices among the ALT coins like Ethereum or Litecoin?
Yes they are really good at a longterm holding because todsy they are not that consistently rising they rise a little bit but they fall a week after but still they rises and the thing is a lot of people trust and know that the bitcoins can rise again even more that their highest value. I know about the demand and supply and its the reason a marlet gets different price at different price but what make bitcoin users to lead to this pricefall..I mean once there was 1btc = 500$ and after that I herd some hackers have hacked some exchanges and many scammers also poped out during those days..and this all leads to currenct price of 230$ I hope some peoples will do something to avaood these problems as much as we can
The price falls because of the people who sells a lot of bitcoins they are the panic sellers and they do not even know that they are just letting the bitcoins fall tremendously because the price of the bitcoins depends on the supply and the demand of the people so selling a lot of bitcoins means that the demads are decreasing and also the price of the bitcoins will decrease so just patiently hold bitcoins dont cut off your loss stop selling for nothing. |

I have recently written an article about the possibility of Bitcoin becoming currency we will use on daily basis. so now I want to ask the question do you think we will see if it can be used as a daily currency??? or do you think it will be more like gold a good store of value??? My own personal hope is that we will see cryptocurrencies develop into currencies we will use on a daily basis. in my opinion, bitcoin will be a good place to start due to the mainstream knowledge about Bitcoin, but I do not think it's the best-suited kind for daily use and I believe we have a long way to go before it is a viable alternative to Fiat currencies for the majority of people. I choose bitcoins rather than ethereum because it is much more easy to have rather than ethereum because i do not know hownand where to buy ethereum but for me i will choose both of them becausebthey are both successfully existing in their own planform because bitcoins aee bitcoins and ethereum are on the altcoins side. I see a lot of people talking about when to sell; but I think that buying is as important if not more (obviously you buy* low -_-). so do you guys aim to buy the lowest low of the day/week/month/... and do you think that is riskier and/or hard to predict. do you wait for price reversals? do you follow expert advice?? please share your thoughts and your stories (successful or otherwise  ) I always buy bitcoins whenever the price are pf course low in the market because in that way i can buy yhem in a much cheaper price rather than ther are when they pump and i will just hold them for a long period of time and in this thing i just need a lot of patience to hold them even if they are continuing to fall in to the market and trust that the bitcoins will recover again and will go to the moon before the year ends. It is just a buy and sell process and if you are going to do that make sure that you have another source of income. |
