341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 06:22:07 PM
My biggest regret is when the time I know Bitcoin (that was last year) I ignored. I don't know why I am not interested though my friend who told me about this is a trusted friend, yet I think of it as a scam. It has a negative impact on me, maybe because it's new to my ears. I do really regret that because back then Bitcoin was $800, and now look at Bitcoin.
Life must go on talaga. Kaya dapat talaga hiwa-hiwalay ang investment natin. Hindi pwedeng iisang uri ng invesment lang mayroon tayo para pag nangyaring mag-crash or biglang mawala, mayroon pa din tayong natitira pang investment sa iba.

344  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: October 26, 2017, 06:37:17 AM
For me, no young people should not go all in into bitcoin. Beside they are still going to school and taking up a degree courses to finish their studies. Even me as a young age I will not go all in on bitcoin, I will just try bitcoin to earn extra money to assist my allowance. Because graduating with a degree courses is much important to me.  Smiley

Yes. Finishing studies is the very important thing. I agree that trading Bitcoin should do for part-time only. It is good that young minds will be enlighten on investing, but they should not let their studies leave behind. Prioritize studying.
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: October 25, 2017, 09:35:13 AM
Bitcoin for me is more than what they keep on telling - that it will make you rich. Actually, if you really understand the concept of Bitcoin then you will know that it is more than just a speculative asset. I am looking forward to have my future with Bitcoin. Using it as a truly digital currency. I enjoy and I am truly amazed what technology can bring to us in the future.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 25, 2017, 06:28:36 AM
We can't deny that risk does exist when taking such decisions since you are putting all your life savings at stake and risking their actual value to drop significantly if bitcoin's value drops , yet you are also taking the chance that your funds could grow or even double their value just in few days . It is a risky move but with higher risks comes higher rewards and your life could change depending on bitcoin's value . As for myself i wouldn't ever take such risks cause i don't want to put my financial status under any pressure and thus ensuring a stable situation for myself and my family .

That's the point. If you put all your money in one, this will put you in stress if Bitcoin's price drops. Though it will make you rich or earn much if Bitcoin's price pumps. So with this consequence, I suggest not to take all the risk. It might get you broke when you lose. Unless you really have plenty of money that will come.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: October 25, 2017, 02:09:15 AM
Yesterday the Central Bank of Albania issued a warning about the uncertain and unsafe nature  of cryptocurrencies
They called on people not to get involved. Should we be afraid or the banks are!

Yes, I think so. If one day Bitcoin will replace fiat money, banks will no longer needed. But that is a long long way journey for the cryptocurrencies. Government will be the one who has the power on what will be use as our currency.
348  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: October 25, 2017, 01:53:38 AM
Young people should learn how to invest while they are young. They should learn how to manage their finances for them to be independent. One of the best way to invest is buying Bitcoins and alts coins. If you want to enjoy life at age 30, better to invest now and learn how to earn while finishing college.
349  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: October 24, 2017, 04:17:17 PM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?

Yeah, I think so. They have a lot of money even they invest 1/4 of their money, they got nothing to lose right? And it is a good investment. It is a good choice to invest in Bitcoin, you know how Bitcoin is doing in the past months. It is good. Really good.
350  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: October 24, 2017, 03:39:32 PM
Bitcoin's price is looking good. I've been watching Bitcoin for about a year, and I saw how it grows rapidly. For me, it is a good investment. But I am not expert to tell you that it will have a great future though I believe Bitcoin will be. That is why I am taking risk to invest because I believe.
351  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: October 24, 2017, 08:53:41 AM
Do not invest something that you don't know. Before you invest for example in alt coins, you have to read their whitepaper or make some research about it. Invest only in coins that you believe will contribute or will make a big difference in today's problems.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: October 24, 2017, 04:52:02 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

If we ever want Bitcoin to become popular the only thing that would help us is the government. If government would allow us or simply recognize the trading and using of Bitcoin, it will have a great impact on Bitcoin's popularity. Though advertisement will do, but some people might see that as a scam or anything. We knew people nowadays are very skeptical.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: October 22, 2017, 03:19:13 AM
I agree with this. Most people who do not have jobs or can't have jobs find something that they can earn while being at home. That is why online jobs are very popular these days. Then Bitcoin became popular, many people shift to invest or trade in crypto. Not that unemployed people go to this kind of job but those who are employed and resigned just to do jobs like these.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: October 21, 2017, 01:44:21 PM
...not a guaranteed value of the Bitcoin makes the price move is not fair.
Life is not fair. The fact that bitcoin is not guaranteed by state violence is the very reason it will succeed, the very thing that makes it unique from all violence-backed state promissory scrip.

No, bitcoin will not last forever. But it will almost certainly get us through the end of capitalism.

Yes. People are now not a fool. We want change. We want privacy. We want a currency that has its true value. That's why Bitcoin became popular. Agree that Bitcoin may not last forever because every day people improves, and maybe one day their will be a token created that will beat Bitcoin. But I do believe digital era is coming. And we can't prevent this from happening.
355  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: October 19, 2017, 12:00:49 AM
Well with one snap of bitcoin it cannot end the worlds' problem which is poverty. It is always up for the people to move by themselves. It is on the people that is on that situation, it is up to them if they still wanted to live or they wanted to die as poor. There are a lot of stories I've read saying that there were many people born as poor but died as rich. Well for them to end their poverty using bitcoin they need the literacy to do it. At least they need to be media literate to deal with this.

Agree. We cannot just depend on things for the sake of saving us from down. Whatever it is, if you do not have the courage to learn and to do whatever needs to be done to change your life for the better, it's useless. We all need to know and learn how to manage our finances. If we can't handle, we can't be rich no matter how much we earn.
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: October 18, 2017, 11:43:24 PM
in fact if you open up deepweb, it will be extremely effortless to discover a place where you can get on the internet drug and you can spend it in the kind of bitcoin, but I do not know if it truly is genuinely reputable or not. yah, deepweb is something quite mysterious to me

it seems like a blackmarket and  bitcoin is popular as its medium of transactions in collecting some payments, they said btc was used long ago in blackmarket.

Actually, that's where Bitcoin had seen. Bitcoin was use their as payment to buy these kind of illegal things in what they call "Deep Web". That is a very dangerous place in the internet. I do not know how to search that and I don't want to because many says it's quite dangerous to deep.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: October 18, 2017, 02:45:15 PM
I don't think this is a good idea. You know drugs is bad for your health. It is very addictive and it will destroy your brain. So even you have lots of Bitcoin to buy drugs, please do not dare to do it.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2017, 02:29:38 PM
I am planning to save my Bitcoin for future. I have a strong feeling that Bitcoin will be accepted world-wide in the future. But for short time, I will just take a portion of my profit in trading for having my own house and own a car. Then I also wanted to have my own business accepting cryptocurrencies.  Grin
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: October 18, 2017, 10:54:09 AM
Yes, I think so. Since many people use Bitcoin as their source of income, many people also use Bitcoin as their regular job. It is like they are working in a 8-5 hours job. So yes. Bitcoin reduces unemployment rate because those people who can't apply for an 8-5hours job, can earn income here in crypto world. It is a good help indeed.
360  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is an asset or currency. on: October 18, 2017, 08:16:39 AM
I hear from many sources that btc is used for trading much more than it is for goods and services; doesn't that make it an asset ??
and is that necessarily a bad thing ?? and what can we do about it as a community ??

Though Bitcoin is a digital currency, we cannot consider it yet as currency. Because "currency" is generally accepted form of money issued by our government and circulated in the economy. So from that meaning, Bitcoin is not generally accepted and definitely not issued by the government. As asset it would be. Because Asset is something we own with economic value.
