However I'm feeling slightly unconfortable with "Block Found Every: 7 hours (estimated)" and " Block Found: 2 days ago"... Hello! What pool do you mining at? There could be a troubles with sinchronisation with different pools.. Cryptonoteminingpool.com. But now I am on https://itns.west-pool.org , much better.

Nicehash traffic is hopping Intense pools and ruining mining for small miners.
Network hash rate simply doubles at times from 8/10 to 20+ MH/s and difficulty skyrockets.

Bad experience with http://cryptonoteminingpool.com/10 hours of mining @ ~4 KH/S (~20% of pool hashrate) and got paid 113 ITNS. WTF? Switched to West-Pool.org and already got paid 97 ITNS and a Pending balance of 64. Well, you live and learn. Sometimes just bad luck in the pool over a 12 hour period... but also take a look at the "whales" in the pool to see what kind of percentage you are doing of the work... that is the most important thing. Sometimes there is like 1 miner that is doing 5MH/s or more. .... while the other 10 people are doing like 20k/s your payout is not gonna be good.. Yeah, sure. 10h mining with 20% of total pool hashrate, 1500+ ITNS paid, I I get 113. Sure.

Yes it is. I'll support this pool from now on. Just this morning I was paid 200+ ITNS.

Feel free to join our 0% Fee US Based Pool! Our hashrate has been raising in the last few days, and we need active miners to help it grow and decentralize the network: http://cryptonoteminingpool.com/Start mining with us now! So, I'm mining for 5 hours now and still 0.00000000. This is to be expected, until a block is found, right? yes when your pool finds a block it will show then you have to wait for block to mature to get reward So I guess that cryptonoteminingpool.com needs a few more miners... Well I'm sticking with them for now, that 0.0 fee (actually 0.05%) makes me happy.

OK, 1,75% fee is too much on official pool. I understand the need to decentralize. I'm switching my 3.5-4 KH/s to this one. Opinions? As its hashrate is much lower, I suppose increases in pending balance and payments will be much more further apart, but roughly the same after some time, am I right? 1.75%? Lol)) Are yiu guys kidding us?) Or maybe free beer by fridays?)) "6-1-18 2000 UTC: Pool fee increased to 1.75% to promote network diversity."

Why is mining difficulty getting so high?
I'm hashing with 3 Ellesmere cards and 1 Ryzen (~2.6 KH/s) and I'm getting fewer coins every day.

Why not integrate XMR-Stak miner in Intense Wallet? It's open source.
Mining with Wallet gives ~200 H/s and XMR-Stak gives 500 H/s on a Ryzen 1700...
AAAALLLLLLLLLLL of the wallets with miners suck so bad!!!! Like 100-200 with 14 threads on my ryzen 1700 vs 450-500 on amd-stak-cpu.... i don't get it ... but it can't be that hard to implement. Really easy config not much really to implement and also can control thread counts easily with stak! Don't see why this wouldn't be easy to implement. Too much threads could actually slow your CPU. Cryptonight mining relies heavily on L3 cache, you should have 2 Mb per thread. For a Ryzen 7, 8 threads max.

I started mining Intense yesterday on intensecoin.com pool, I loved the concept, and I switched from monero, as mining difficulty is getting impossibly high. Everything was going A-OK, I configured XMR-STAK to intensecoin.com pool and mined 326 coins since yesterday. However, after 6 pm payout, shares began to be rejected by the pool, tried to connect with a linux secondary machine and it says my IP is banned??? Why is my IP banned from the pool?? EDIT: OK, transaction is confirmed and the 55 ITNS is on my wallet, but why the hell was my miner IP banned?? EDIT 2: OK, got answers on Slack, apparently too much hashrate for port 4444...

In strataspool verge-groestl pool there is only one miner hashing at 1.5 GH/s Second one pays in bitcoins, if I'm mining XVG, that's because I want XVG.
|
|
|
I actually did cash out 9.17 XVG now and transaction is confirmed and it just showed up in my wallet.
So despite the alleged problems, I didn't loose anything.
But at this moment I think a 2% fee is a bit too much.
So I'm looking forward to bring my XVG mining business with 3 Ellesmere cards to another pool, I'm waiting for suggestions.
The 2 Myr-Groestl pools linked on vergecurrency.com besides IDCray are offline.
|
|
|
I was mining with them too. I have 9.xx XVG but now I'm afraid to do the cashout for now.
I have already mined around 13 XVG and didn't have any problems with transfering them to my wallet.
What pool and algo do you recommend to use with AMD RX cards?
For what I've researched, Myriad Groestl with SGminer optimized kernel was the best for AMD rigs.
Any suggestions?

Ya, the default affinity was choosing virtual threads instead physical ones. Damn! 6MH/s!
All Ryzen users should take note. Intel chooses one thread per core before using HT. I confirm major performance increase with Ryzen in scrypt adding --cpu-affinity 0x5555 From 22 H/s to 29 H/s with 8 threads and from 28 to 35 H/s with 15 threads!
