341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do Crypto Enthusiasts Hate Facebook Coin? on: June 25, 2019, 09:49:48 AM
why replace central banks worldwide with a super central bank controlled by a few companies?
it's a terrible scenario, this is the opposite of bitcoin. it's even bigger - and worse - than xrp
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEO of Bank of America: “We Want a Cashless Society” on: June 24, 2019, 10:40:01 PM
we need a bankless society, we need to stop financial parasites that don't produce anything
343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analyst claim Bitcoin will easily surpass $15,000 if it gets $10,000 on: June 24, 2019, 10:36:34 PM
I believe that bitcoin can also easily go beyond 20 000 dollars. This is what many investors say. And I think it will come to pass. We need to prepare for this moment.

soon 20k will be the new bottom and I don't think this is too far. the next "fomo" wave will be huge.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: June 24, 2019, 05:46:16 AM
I tried before, but now I don't care. Just wait and soon they will come asking about it, they will have a lot to learn  Tongue

346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the time traveller’s “2019 BTC price” become true? on: June 24, 2019, 05:43:01 AM
7 months and we more and the current price is only at $8,500 .
Do you really think that we could hit $100k ?
Even back in 2017 where  we experience a whole year of punp didn't make it that high.
Yes, the price of Bitcoin of one hundred thousand dollars by the end of this year looks absolutely unreal. Hardly anything can happen so that Bitcoin can grow so much in its price this year. After such a long period of a bear market, bitcoin is not capable of it.

maybe, I think it's possible. let's wait and see how july will be.
next events will be crucial for the rest of the year.
347  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Adulthood is a scam, wish I could stay young forever on: June 23, 2019, 07:46:24 AM
It has been just 6 years (18-23) into my adulthood and I'm already regretting growing up. Don't get me wrong, it feels great been able to take decision on my own without been yelled at but why does being an adult feels this hard. Things I could do before I could no longer do them as I need to adjust to being called an adult. Back in the days I could manage equivalent $300 for weeks but now it finishes even before I received it. The expenses is just too much. Being an adult kinda sucks. Tell your kids growing up let them not get too excited, adulthood is just a scam. You get enslave to expense. Although you can help ease the pain by planning their future and what better way to do that then educating them on bitcoin and start hoarding coins for them.

nah it's not the adulthood. it's called "capitalism". if you "stay young" you just transfer your burden to another one.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC halving on: June 23, 2019, 07:03:00 AM
Does Btc and ltc move together or does ltc increase independently?

It's mostly(not 100% of the time):

BTC rises in price --> alts rise in price
BTC drops in price --> alts drop harder
alts rise in price --> BTC stays stagnant

sometimes btc rise at the cost of alts, when not much fiat is coming (total marketcap stagnant)
alts rise in price and BTC stays stagnant when people are converting profits into alts.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between the Facebook platform "LIBRA" and Bitcoin on: June 23, 2019, 05:06:59 AM
Libra would be centralized and highly monitored. It may be a easy cash to take with you, you should be very careful with dealing with larger transactions.
Bitcoin is a distributed currency with no one actually owing the system. It all remains between the peers.

too much power for a small number of corporations, could be also a way to help tracking your crypto operations
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trade on Latoken on: June 22, 2019, 04:59:59 AM
I used latoken today again and I think the service is excellent, always fast deposits and withdrawals

352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra May kill all stable coins and may be best trading pair for bitcoin on: June 21, 2019, 09:19:19 PM
Libra May kill all stable coins and may be best trading pair for bitcoin

it's a possibility. but with partners like paypal and coinbase I think they will make much easier for new users start buying crypto.
They target a much larger user base compared to the number of crypto traders.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra the new crypto king on: June 21, 2019, 09:12:13 PM
what "crypto king" means?  Grin probably libra will have the biggest market cap and will become the main gateway to bring new users to other crypto, yes. but it doesn't make it better than bitcoin. it's just a payment system owned by big corporations, private but not decentralized.

só de ler o título de um post já me pareceu fake news. depois abri o texto e levei uns 10 segundos pra encontrar inconsistências e erros.
realmente, só o "público alvo" do bolsonaro pra cair nisso.
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency user friendly? on: June 20, 2019, 10:28:41 PM
depends on the wallet. some apps are very easy, but don't have all features. electron is a great wallet, but hard for noobs to understand.

even when you recommend a simple mobile wallet, people are still scared if you start talking about private keys and backups.
they are used to passivity, to pay a bank for this responsibility.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason Libra might be good for Bitcoins on: June 20, 2019, 10:20:38 PM
If I cannot buy ganja or some pistols for my collection with Libra, and also receive ransomware payments, then it is not any more useful than good old PayPal.

lol but you could use them to buy monero Tongue

now seriously, I think it will bring many new users to coinbase
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trade on Latoken on: June 20, 2019, 05:34:42 AM
I realize latoken is safe and has a good exchange. But most altcoins on latoken don't have large volumes. Honestly I have to admit, I am not interested in trading there. I like to trade in exchanges that have large volumes. Therefore, I never trade in latoken.

sometimes this is good and you can buy a coin cheaper there.

what I think it's weird is that they have much different fees for each erc20 token, it makes no sense
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Africa needs bitcoin, not a charity on: June 20, 2019, 05:32:41 AM
they need paid jobs since many corporations still explore slavery in the continent
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Libra the Ethereum + Ripple + EOS + TRON + .... killer? on: June 19, 2019, 07:34:24 AM
Unless there are dApps, it will not directly compete with Ethereum, EOS or Tron.

exactly, I don't think they will build anything similar, it does not mention decentralized computing.
For sure it will be a choice for e-commerce for being stable, fast and counting on a billion wallets.
