341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: New: Grab your Vertcoin on Yobit on: October 05, 2017, 01:02:58 PM
This thread does not make me want to "go grab vertcoins".

You should have stuck to the vertcoin thread/
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New Crypto Currency "Azercoin" on: October 05, 2017, 01:00:58 PM
This shitcoin is a copy of litecoin, without ANY improvement, it is also PREMINED.

Stay away from this shitcoin, Azerbaijan is great country, too bad this shitcoin has it's name in it.

Yes our coin is based on script algorithm like Litecoin and we did't try to hide this information from the public . We think that this is better than just issue tokens and sell them to the public leaving the big share of that to the creators of the token.

All pre-mined coins will be distributed among project contributors (PR , application development, etc.). Detailed plan of distribution will be ready soon. Every body will have chance to participate.

This project is created to introduce digital currency concept to the local community and give them ability to be involved in decentralized world based on block-chain technology.

It is democratic world and therefore everybody can have their own opinion on the project.

So this is premined and currently already mining without a true announcement thread? Why do you want us to get in now and not in the beginning?
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs scam? on: October 05, 2017, 12:15:57 PM
Not all ICOs are scam but large number of ICOs are scam that was one of the main reason why China banned ICOs.The number if ICOs which are good and not fake is very very less so it better to watch where you are going to invest as you would regret if it were a scam. The real ICOs works very hard but these scam ICOs has really gave bad reputation to all ICOs.But if you are experienced and has a good knowledge about ICOs and stuff then it is very profit in short term I think.

So if most ico's had a market cap of just a few thousand dollars. Would the government still care?
They don't care about scams, they care about taxing people's money.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Twitter volume predicting price movements? on: October 04, 2017, 11:49:41 PM
Some coins gather a lot of people to do promotion, some coins don't do bounties at all.
The coins with bounties are obviously going to be represented on twitter a lot more, but doesn't necessarily mean the project is more popular or promising.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin-I (BTCI) -A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.! on: October 04, 2017, 04:46:48 AM
BITCOIN-I : A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.!

https://bitcoin-i.com

What is it Bitcoin-I?
Bitcoin-I is an innovative payment network and a new kind of money.Make payments worldwide.A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.!

What exactly is the innovative part? Seems like a rather simple clone as far as I can see.
Any other implementations planned?
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: October 03, 2017, 04:11:30 PM
That is very much expected from China or any other country to try to prohibit those scammers that use the ICO process to get people's money.

They don't really care about the scams, they care about all that untaxed money they are missing out on.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Under $1 on: October 01, 2017, 01:35:10 AM
Is there more potential profit in buying coins <1? yes.
Can every coin go to 1 usd? no

Take the coin supply and marketcap into account, I still see people around here who think doge could get to 1 usd.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The 1st SEC charge for a Security Token on: October 01, 2017, 01:30:42 AM
That was fast, I guess with some time we will being seeing a lot less ico's popping up.  Roll Eyes
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: September 29, 2017, 12:30:24 PM
You will always need to look out for yourself, investing money is never "safe", your ROI is never a sure thing.
Maybe with regulations and bans nowadays, it will be a little better.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you usually do after token sales? on: September 28, 2017, 02:07:43 AM
Hold for a little bit, scope out what is happening and decide if I go long or short.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMLBitcoin - Decentralized banking on the Blockchain on: September 27, 2017, 10:29:39 PM
Can you list the technical advantages of the coin in a few sentences?
As I see it basically any cryptocoin has the feature that can be described as decentralized banking, correct me if I'm wrong.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO discussion on: September 26, 2017, 07:49:29 PM
I see ICO appear around 30 in 1 day, but I see no promising projects yet
They like to see ICO where to raise money, whereas ICO has a heavy responsibility.
I am very concerned about this condition
Actually, you already answered your owned question mate. Way back 2 years ago ico by that time is not that as many compare in the ICO that we had it now. But ICO now is much more good than before, that's what I can say about it in my opinion. But of course, it needs a 100% of caution in choosing ICO project.

There are still decent ico's out there.
But I would say that a lot of teams like raising money better than developing.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GameCredits/MobileGo scam? on: September 26, 2017, 07:44:13 PM
Even if it is a pump/dump it doesn't mean it is a scam. Doesn't have to be the devs doing that.
Also, I have to incline with the statement above.

But a coin being moved through a pump and dump scheme is a little unsettling, even if the devs aren't part of it.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] - DOC.AI conversational AI-powered platform - NRN token on: September 25, 2017, 08:58:26 PM
Was going to check if we could test out the AI platform somewhere or see a working proof of concept. Too bad only certified. Good luck op.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: September 25, 2017, 06:11:43 PM
Look at some of the technology some of these altcoins bring to the table. Most do everything better than btc does. So yes buy altcoins  Cool
356  Economy / Economics / Re: China banning bitcoin exchages, good or bad? on: September 25, 2017, 06:09:33 PM
will china ban btc miner ?

They haven't so far.

There's been discussion about them possibly making it difficult or illegal to transfer coins, which has a side effect of making mining very difficult as it would be hard to recoup expenses without being able to sell coins.

In the long run, it seems unlikely.

The only action they have taken against the miners as of yet was on the energy subsidy some of those mining farms were getting.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sorry me, but it Very important information about litecoin (LTC) on: September 24, 2017, 01:13:05 AM
I've never been a big litecoin fan.

It has  a big community, but that's about it. Nothing special in my opinion.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][Free Aidrop]First PoS Token🔥 PoSToken 🔥 on: September 23, 2017, 04:18:46 AM
Why are you only distributing such a small amount of coins?
I looked in your thread and looks like you distributed less than 10% in the first round, what is the extra value in this?
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the China FUD over ? on: September 22, 2017, 02:45:45 AM
I initially thought it was fud, then it seemed to be something more serious with exchanges getting "banned" (temporarily?), now we'll have to wait and see.
I don't think it's over yet.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin networth $100 Million? on: September 20, 2017, 12:18:28 PM
This is not to trash the guy! I am just wondering how much money he made, and still making as they issues new tokens each year?

You all know that Russian central bank is backing him up as loyalist of Putin ( I am not against it, just mentioning facts)

I hates how Techcrunch, and other media is looking down at him.

I think it's more than and will continue to grow, he has a lot of stocks of ethereum and we all know it is one a highly potential coin in the market, if a dev launch an innovative coin in the market he'll also have that figure we all know satoshi owns a huge premine of his coin also.

Satoshi isn't looking to fork BTC to pos and start staking his premine though.. Grin
