341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BU support down below 35% on: April 10, 2017, 04:48:47 AM
bitcoin core is the only valid client if in the blockchain network, in order to ensure its protocol will not be ruined. even for the segwit and/or BTU, for me, if such would result in easier centralisation of bitcoin network, the forceful implementation of them or hard fork is giving some of the hackers, if processing flaws are found, to rule the bitcoin. we need a solution for decentralised network, stable transaction queue, as well as a fair reward to miners.
342  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: which hardware is better ? on: April 09, 2017, 11:34:43 PM
i don't know, but seems S9 is better because its efficiency. other than that, as long as the electricity is affordable and/or you have a solution to harvest the heat and use them in a regenerator.
343  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Large scale mining operations discussion on: April 08, 2017, 11:52:49 PM
if i had the miners to work in bitcoin, depending on the price of bitcoin, in case of low, i would rather work in other place to gain the wage pay the electricity then hoard the bitcoin than selling bitcoins to pay. in case of high, i would pay the electricity with bitcoin and the normal spending in the daily lives. because mining is not guaranteed of profitability, independent mining, if you can risk, is better.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: it is Core, not Bitman blocking segwit on: April 08, 2017, 11:45:46 PM
because the majority is using bitcoin core, most of the people in the dark of any client else than core will not get into it. Huh IIRC core is more sustainable by its growth of blockchain size, other than which propose a higher size per block are not affordable to them.

inability of sustaining a blockchain by miners, so do the majority. their statement of using core are reasonable to software users.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless Alt-Coins that will be dead in 6 months to 1 year on: April 07, 2017, 03:01:15 AM
In 5 years probably all of them.

how can you conclude that? as far as the innovation is concerned, some of the altcoins are more likely to be a bitcoin's rival.
the control of the coin results the death of an altcoin.
346  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [RESOLVED] BetOpen.co stole 5.97 BTC because of 'fraudulent' activities on: April 06, 2017, 11:31:34 PM
op did you check the timezone difference upon betting? because there are a certain timing between the boarder. like if the bet's deadline is GMT 2pm with +1 daylight saving, the actually deadline is 9pm in case GMT+8. btw great to see your accusation is being resolved.

For me it seems like fraud from BetOpen. A basketball game lasts at least 48 minutes ( 4 quarters x 12 minutes ). And the bets got a timestamp, that is not after the end of a game. And the 26th of march was the day where the clocks were synchronized to daylight saving time. If i were the op, i wouldnt give it up.
+1 check out the actual schedule of sports before placing bet.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New to mining on: April 05, 2017, 11:19:54 PM
750 ti is not a great efficiency i think. Huh
if you wanna mine any altcoins, especially in the future GPU introduction, AMD is far better on pricing and often power efficirncy. you can use pools if you think you are not fortunate enough to get reward. btw dogecoin is potentially better for me at this moment.
348  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] [EU] Geforce GTX 1070 on: April 04, 2017, 02:43:01 AM
reserved for pricing check.

i am interested on this deal, but you have to go first. i will offer one at 350~375e. still not guarantee the pricing because it could be lower from now.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where to buy GPU in Bulk? on: April 04, 2017, 02:33:10 AM
how much budget are you? i can offer some GPUs from my local wholesale. or did you use www.newegg.com (they accept bitcoin)?
i can help you purchase if you want, but you might expect up to CAD$320 per card (shipping included), 8GB. you will have to go first as i don't get any bitcoin which allows me to use escrow, up to you. Huh
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan to accept Bitcoin as payment method. on: April 02, 2017, 07:12:06 AM
the law enforcement is the lead to the trust return of bitcoin for the Japanese residents. although this will be questionable to bitcoin regulation and its network problem, at least the bitcoin will be more reliable in Japan.
351  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoin Black Friday *Price Match* *Tablets, Fire Sticks, Phones, More!* on: April 02, 2017, 04:33:19 AM
i am sorry but have to say that the op is still owing me the MLP trading cards and the bitcoins remained because of the margin. hope you will give me the code as soon as possible, IIRC all the funds in that bitcoin address are paid by me.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Ripple (XRP) Compares to BTC and ETH! on: April 02, 2017, 04:27:18 AM
they are still have high inflation?
nope! there are only 100 billion of them and will no longer have any extra AFAIK. there are no certain inflation ripple will suffer. you need to notice the available supply, however.
353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's talk about poker! on: April 02, 2017, 03:27:00 AM
I think poker is a good example of skill based gamble because you really need skills to overwhelm your opponents to get that big pot. I did some poker on many sites when I am just new here and it is really hard for me to win as newbie because they are always overwhelming me with big bets and I always do all in because of it, yes, that how big their bets are. I think that is also a way to win, and they are using their skill to win the game.
corrected your typos. btw in the main point, for me, even for the skilled player will only slightly increase the probability of winning, rather than all the way to win. which means you might lose to a person virgin to poker as a professional player depending on his/her luck, unless you could accurately predict what further result exactly is. you need not to be skilled to win poker against a champion if you are fortunate. nobody knows in fact.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Ripple (XRP) Compares to BTC and ETH! on: April 02, 2017, 03:14:05 AM
explicitly ripple is not even mineable and the transaction fee means to destroy the coins though their fees are low enough to ensure its sustainability. ripple is not being promoted enough, resulting the lower popularity so far. btw the total supply is supposed to be 100b but currently 37,4 billion. Huh
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MSI RX480 8GB GAMING X BIOS MOD - HELP!!! on: April 02, 2017, 03:09:28 AM
restore your basic input and output system, update it into the new version, and install your newest AMD driver and try again, now do not edit anything to see if your driver works again. since you have manipulated your bios, you might risk voiding your warranty if you don't restore.
356  Other / Meta / Re: New Badges on: April 01, 2017, 01:25:05 AM
i am being 'considered' as a dash developer. Huh if yes, i would be very intelligent to the programs, unfortunately i am not. from theymos, he said the amount of altcoin means how many alts you have (i have 1)? btw i want a customised badge. lol.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan's Bitcoin Law Goes Into Effect Tomorrow on: April 01, 2017, 01:20:31 AM
for me, nothing will really effect if you are not using your bitcoin to launder because of criminals. just like what China has just did to regulate bitcoin.

however, the law of regulating bitcoin might result in less merchants to use bitcoin due to possibility of tax. unless this law will increase the popularity of bitcoin and bring a better liberty of transaction.
358  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Chinese Bitcoin Exchanges Implement Video Verification to Resume Withdrawals on: March 30, 2017, 01:30:33 PM
i would agree to enforce AML but exterminating the anonymity is not a perfect way to clear the laundering. people who attempt to launder their money using those site might refer what MMM China has done to make their transaction decentralised. China is destroying the protocol of bitcoin, and they are aggressively referring 'Country' with their 'Communist party'; always censoring what they don't want by protecting the country however it is actually themselves. Seems they are attempting to ruin all the privacy people are supposed to deserve, especially they are wanting to develop economics.

for the VPN, since China is not planning to ban bitcoin or other altcoin like MaidSafe, there are possibility to bypass the internet ban with such blockchain, good for developers. Tongue
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is mining on a gtx 1080 profitable on: March 30, 2017, 01:19:03 PM
mining with those cards, even if its price is ridiculously cheap, the electricity is still a major problem upon mining, plus as you have seen above, the hash power of GPU is far slower than ASICs. unless you are mining the altcoins with algorithms incompatible with notable ASICs and yet GPU itself supports; you are risking the volatile price.

better use your GPU for other purpose instead, like rendering.
360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you play Dice can you feel your heart in your throat? on: March 30, 2017, 01:11:35 PM
if the speed of the bet is suddenly going very fast especially in case of my bet is doubled by losing. it is quite heart breaking if the funds are suddenly lost, so never deposit all your funds to play with such.
