341  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 100 BTC loan for 30 days on: June 24, 2012, 11:09:59 AM
With all the effort spent into getting a loan like this would it not be more profitable for them just to get real jobs?

Who would not mind a $640 extra ? He had like 30 posts. Unbelievable... Roll Eyes

Ninja queen is legend. Let her do her job and take out your frustration elsewhere Benz.
343  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL Preorders -- What did you get? | Who has the lowest order number? on: June 24, 2012, 08:35:32 AM
I got nothing! There was this voice in my head, telling me not to buy (yet). Why pay BFL with Bitcoin if I can tripple their value with Pirate at the same time. Those who ordered first were always the ones that had to wait longest... Undecided
344  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: June 23, 2012, 08:15:26 PM
It's all about timing. I made good money when I sold all of my bonds the day BFL's ASIC was announced. Cheesy
345  Other / Off-topic / Re: BitForce SC - Pre order delay on: June 23, 2012, 09:25:14 AM
If they have Venture Capital funding, WHY do they need so much MORE money upfront for new orders ?

Shouldn't they be taking, perhaps 10% UP FRONT AT MOST ?

Why would anyone in their right mind send in 100% up to 6 months in advance ?

Let them all pay and get their hardware first. I wait untill they deliver. And no, I wont pay in BTC Grin Roll Eyes
346  Other / Off-topic / Re: [COMMUNITY] Let's buy a SC Single together! It's cheaper than a Jalapeño! on: June 23, 2012, 08:52:59 AM
So you have Cognitive, SYNERGY plus this posting. You can't afford a $1,299 single? Why the need to make up a new business name every few days? This seems like a whole lot of deception to me, even if its just to have multiple posting on the forum it seems lame to me.

He is 16 or so... 1299$ was much money back then.
347  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BTCMiner - Open Source Bitcoin Miner for ZTEX FPGA Boards, 210 MH/s on LX150 on: June 22, 2012, 05:20:39 PM
Works well. Thank you.
348  Economy / Lending / Re: Is this site legit? on: June 21, 2012, 09:23:25 PM
Isn't that ZiggiStar's operation ?
349  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mini Rigs in the wild! on: June 21, 2012, 04:38:29 AM
Glad you got them (finally). Really nice product.
350  Other / Off-topic / Re: notice a lot of asic vaporware spam in an FPGA sub forum... on: June 20, 2012, 06:51:06 PM
Is there not a fantasy sub forum somewhere better suited for this? You can ponder pixie dust, unicorns, and asic for bitcoin mining without annoying those who actually want to read about the hardware they own and run in this thing we call RealLife™.

Nothing wrong with one asic thread but it sucks that we have about 10 topics with the same content. Way too much drama about BFL. Every other manufactor has one thread. A bit more moderation would be great.
351  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA development board "Lancelot" - official discussion thread. on: June 20, 2012, 10:31:42 AM
First off    sorry for the thread hijack!

If anyone from Europe is thinking of getting some of these boards, and NOT using bitcoins to pay , can you let me know how you plan on paying.

Ta

He has a bank account. Wire transfer works very well.
352  Economy / Lending / Re: need TODAY 5 btc please, back tomorrow 6,50 btc on: June 18, 2012, 06:33:53 PM
wow, this is hilarious! im happy nobody treated me like this when i needed 5 btc quick....

Not really. We have seen more than one scammer here and I for myself would never pay a loan to a sub 400 post member. Before I asked for loans I lent BTC to others. Many times for no interest.
353  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1100 GH] Ozcoin Pooled Mining | DGM 0Fee| PPS 5%| Port80 | Lots more on: June 17, 2012, 12:47:11 PM
Lots of connection failures but only for short times.

Edit: all is back normal now
354  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1100 GH] Ozcoin Pooled Mining | DGM 0Fee| PPS 5%| Port80 | Lots more on: June 17, 2012, 12:40:21 PM

355  Economy / Goods / Re: Come in and Trade Ammo or Talk about Guns! on: June 17, 2012, 11:02:32 AM
Nice little collection you have there lol. Guns ftw Cheesy
356  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is this proof BFL mines real coins during testing? on: June 16, 2012, 03:33:41 PM
WOW. They really are making a boat load of $$$ these dudes.

So far it looks like they made 440 BTC or 2800 USD off the rig just by testing Huh

15 000 000 / 362 utility = Looks like they mined for 30 days straight !!!

What a tragedy Cheesy
357  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mini Rig announcement by Butterfly Labs - 25gh/s on: June 16, 2012, 03:29:39 PM
A very nice piece of hardware. There are things I don't like about the company but the products rock.
358  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitForce SC - full custom ASIC on: June 16, 2012, 02:45:25 PM
Cheap enough ?
359  Bitcoin / Hardware / [Archive] BFL trolling museum on: June 16, 2012, 09:29:16 AM
It doesn't matter to me. Sending them back cost me more than what their entry products cost.

But as I understand it, you wouldnt get the entry product, but the price equivalent of what you have now. IOW, if you would send in two FPGA singles you should get ~1 SC single @40GH. I dont see why you wouldnt take a (nearly) free ~25 fold increase in hashrate. It may be a band-aid on a wooden leg, but better than nothing and Id be surprised if it wouldnt at least cover shipping fees.

It's too early to be worried about for me. Let's wait and see Wink

You'd be nuts not to. Have you calculated what your singles or mini rigs will earn you once difficulty reaches 10 or 100 million ?

It doesn't matter to me. Sending them back cost me more than what their entry products cost. For me Bitcoin was never about making a big profit. It's the idea I support. My dayjob pays me enough for a nice life here.
