3421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 12, 2017, 07:14:13 PM
There is little time for first phase, i suggest for investors to be on their computers when it start.

Bigggest bonuses in first phase and there is only 11.000.000 eventchain coin on sale.

I will definetly on my computer at the start Smiley

Will the announcement be posted here or which are the main channel for this kind of communication

I think all announcements are posted here as well. It would be foolish not to.

Yes we will absolutely be posting in here  Smiley

The project is already beyond my imagination, i can't even think what is it referred as "big news".

It's very exciting.  Roll Eyes

I just saw this. I always love basic videos instead of complicated whitepapers.

Crypto asset manager can be interesting, i will definetly inspect it more.

3424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Platform on: September 12, 2017, 01:29:23 PM
What I miss is in the whitepaper PayPie's revenue estimate. Also I'd like to know how PayPie's profits flow back into PPP tokens, and what the drivers are for PPP tokens to increase in value.

Paypie's whitepaper is telling detailed information about platform but other then lots of important issues don't take place or have little information only.

Paypie and ppp token, revenue, profit share is all important topics and we have little or none info about them.

I hope after expo team will clear this issues with detailed explanations.
3425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Relest - first real estate rental AUCTION platform, September 18 on: September 12, 2017, 01:24:57 PM
I have two question,

first,  i want to rent a place in some street and there is two place is fitting my expectations on relest.

So they both were on 490$ and i make an offer of 500$ for both, to get one of them at least.

And nobody raised the offers anymore and i got two auctions and don't need one.

What will happen then?

Second, i make an offer for someplace, and after that there is a new auction which i like more, my offer is the highest but i don't want it anymore, i want the new one. Can i just withdraw my offer ?

If you cancel your bid, the owner's contacts will go to the next group of applicants ($490). If you don't do this - your rating will be decreased.

What are the consequences of a decreased rating for the tenant? Can a landlord ban a tenant with negativ reputation from his auctions?

When a certain rating is reached, its account is marked as untrusted. If an untrusted account wins at an auction, landlord's contacts are also shown to the next group of bidders (if there are no other tenants in this maximum rate).
Also, the rating affects the relationship between the tenant and the landlord.

It's not very intimidating isn't it?

What will prevent to low rating user to just open new account and continue giving fake bids?

I think you should put some better precautions for it.

So tennant can make any offer and just cancel it with no repercussions also with no rating decrease?

3427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: September 12, 2017, 10:51:38 AM
I'm wondering which type of buldings they gonna buy in november, my guess if offices/ apartments for students, not really vacation houses, Spain's islands tourism boom from june to september

Of course they won't go for already hyped expensive vacation houses.

They don't have limitless funds to do so, at best they will have 22m $ to spend.

So i believe, they will look for cheap places which have potential. It would be interesting to see, what they have choose.

Right now our beta is only available on Oculus but by November we will be compatible on all major hardware devices. We are open to exclusives if it's a good deal for us and our investors

I'm thoroughly impressed with the progress your team has made just in the few short weeks since I caught wind of this project. Too bad I won't have Oculus till after the ICO is long over.

Wait till you see what we are announcing tomorrow.

Look under your chair, there's a free Oculus Rift for every investor!

Just kidding. But wouldn't it be cool to have an Oprah moment like that?

Haha yes that would be cool.

Maybe we might buy a oculus rift with our vibehub investment profits?

3429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: September 12, 2017, 09:49:00 AM
Happy to have invested on the +25% tier.
Already 10.000.000 let's hope this gets to the minimuum cap.
IF the minimuum cap isn't reached, will you refund everyone?

If you can look older posts you can see that they will not.

They said that they will just adjust the budget so we can say softcap is already reached, aiming for hardcap (100k eth)

Which exchanges are you expected to be listed in in 2017 and 2018?

no company will provide any info of possible exchanges pre ico. Several things could go wrong post ico and if investors feel jaded that a promise wasn't delivered, it could really impact the company's reputation

Actually some compaines are doing that. But you're right it's risky.

About vibehub it already reached 4600 eth, so exchange won't be a shitty one.

That's quite a good amount so far. Much lower than the max cap of 115000 ETH though - if it ever got closer to the cap, that would be a guaranteed acceptance on any exchanges of their choosing.

Exchanges are the most unimportant in the development process. Its only important for standard cryptocurrencies, not for projects with a real market usecase (Unless you are a trader).
most important thing for a starting ico/project at least at the begining/first steps are investors and for this specific project good hardware/software developers...

As i already said, exchanges is important in short term, i am looking this for long term but not everybody. In long term if you invested a good business, that means you will always make good profit with it regardless of exchanges. So i'm thinking vibehub for longterm, i am not worrying about exchanges.

Here you can find the link to the recent Coin Interview with Eventchain.io https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmihjL9Hxzc

I think this is one of the strongest projects I have seen all year. Very excited about this project.

Steemit article with a Q&A here: https://steemit.com/crypto-news/@coininterview/ama-live-coin-interview-with-eventchain-io

Good luck to all the ICO participants Smiley

Nice interview and really good article.

I definetly liked this part.

What is vision for the company in the next 3-5 year plan?

We are looking to penetrate into the open ticket market, not just concert tickets, although many of the ticketing problems we are solving are found in Music and Sports. Statista.com says that the worldwide market will exceed US$50 billion / year in tickets sales by 2021. We want to disrupt the event ticket industry with extensive worldwide marketing focused on the advantages of blockchain ticketing to increase the adoption of EventChain SmartTickets. Within 5 years, we want to facilitate a minimum of 750 million ticket sales a year which is 1.5% of the ticketing market share in 2021. In due course, we want to completely disrupt the current ticket industry with smart contracts on the blockchain.

I am very happy that i spot eventchain in the beginning. I loved their ambition.

3435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Relest - first real estate rental AUCTION platform, September 18 on: September 11, 2017, 08:53:47 PM
What I think an other interesting area of application for Relest could be the renting of holiday houses. The renting periods wouldn't be that long and therefore the risk for the landlord wouldn't be that high.

In a region where a lot of tourists are looking for accommodation tenants can get their desired holiday house and landlords can get the maximum rent.

A lot of landlords want to lease their apartments for a long time, 1 year plus because this way they have, normaly, not much to do. At least every landlord I talked to said this to me.

Beside this, this would be in concurrence with AirBNB and I am also not sure if the auction system would be that interesting for such an option.

even if the landlords want to lease for a long time, you can still have an auction for a desirable property. if not the price can drop to entice potential customers.

I said, that it would be maybe not such an interesting option if you want to use Relest platform for short time stay.

It will be like airbnb with auction. My opinion it won't be a good idea in short term and don't thing relest team is aiming for it. But in long term, who knows.

3436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: September 11, 2017, 08:49:21 PM
Don't worry, if 100k ETH are not reached, Melissa said on telegram that they will adjust their budget and publish updated plan after token sale ends. The important news is that they will not gonna stop if 100k are not reached

That's great news. Now it's already over 10m $ and there is still time to hit 30m $ but in worst case it's not very small amount and they can adjust it and so they will.

In conclusion we can say project already hit the soft cap, and there is still too much time for hard cap which is 100k eth.

3437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 11, 2017, 04:53:51 PM
Since the US has 3 very huge ticket businesses that are expected to be very protective of their client base, how is EventChain going to attract artists and organizers to come to their site instead? There is a breakdown of the funds allocation in the whitepaper where more than half is spent on marketing, but does EventChain also have a concrete strategy?

several artists have been complaining about second hand ticket sales. This scalpers excessively increase the price of this tickets, thus making it inaccessible to some of their real fans. so If EC can deliver on the proposed idea, they might be easily swayed.

This project will help this industry, second hand tickets sales need to be regulated.

When you have an event like tomorrowland, and you can't have a ticket because all tickets were sold in 2 min, then you see an huge amount of tickets on internet with huge margins, it's too much irritating, and it's not helping the event industry.

There is some people, just living with second hand ticket profits. They are getting tickets somehow and after that they are posting it for multiple prices. The sad part is there is some websites helping them to do so. And that websites are taking rubbish fees. Sometimes that website and second hand seller gets more money than original event holder. It's not fair. And even eventchain help a little bit to prevent that, it's enough reason for me to support.

Has anybody seen this?

What a bad way to announce it. There is no info in website and not a single post to official thread with near 60 page in it.

Didn't get the cause of new thread. Maybe it's fake?

If it's fake team should report it.

I deleted the quote cause It was a scam attemp, checked their eth adress and luckily no-one fall for it.

3440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: September 11, 2017, 12:57:10 PM
is there any minimum cap required for project to get going?

If you are asking minimum contribituon to join ico, i double checked but it seems that there is not a minimum contribituon limit.

If you are asking for a soft cap, other posts before your post already explained that soft cap is 100.000 eth.

They lowered it from 200.000 eth.

By the way, i wondered how %50 cut will effect them and found their statement about it.

Quote
Will you be able to execute your plan with 50% less funds?

As stated in our operating budget, we are dedicating around 8 MM USD to our operations. That being 27.000 ETH approx. at today’s market value.
So that would mean that in the case we raise 100.000 ETH we would then have 73.000 ETH to invest in Real Estate assets to put in our Crowdfunding platform. That is +20MM USD. More than enough to get started.

So they don't think it will be a issue.
