Ok so lets discuss the advanced page. To the far right, these temps are the temps for the 8 dies. The reason I say this is because I had my heatsink loose when hashing, when I slid the heatsink slightly forward the temps in advanced would change. Ive also removed the heatsink I had attatched to the vrms and the temps did not change in advanced page. I beleive the dc/dc temp of the vrms is in status page. Thats why I believe its not the temps of the vrms on the far right in advanced, its the temp of the individual dies. I know there are 4 cores as Ive had the cap off. I believe there are 2 dies to each core, and 1 vrm per die. Ill do more research on this.

Lets see if anyone else has issues. I was able to upgrade from many different versions include Kncminer official 2.0 and V.98 . Both went flawless.

Just so it is on this thread someplace I have to say the following : Ahem Smiley
"My god man do you have BIG BRASS ONES IMHO...sheesh........"
Ok just figured someone had to say it in that ..if you guys are like me .. I rarely make direct eye contact with my Titan(s) in case they become offended and brick themselves into door stop status...I mean MAJOR SURGERY the mind boggles Smiley Ohh ya, in case I wasnt clear, I will be removing the center plate to examine the cores from a mostly working cube today. Has .8v on dies 0 and 1. Will any of this void my warranty? LOL Update: Center plate removed. This was from a from a cube that had .8v on die 0 and 1. As you can see what WAS thermal grease is now just dried dust. So the question on everyones mind is: What will happen, if I clean and regrease the cores? Give me some time and Ill let you know, today. Do NOT attempt this!!! WAIT for the video! There are MANY wrong ways to do this and 1 right way. Do it wrong and you have a dead cube!!Vegas Update: cleaned and regreased cores. Did NOT fix the .8v dies. So what this looks like is that core is permanently damaged, due to overheating. I have one last thing I want to try to bring that core back to life. Ill report back soon. There IS a silver lining, it DID reduce the temps on the working cores to the very low 50c, and some dies were even in the high 40c . Temps after regrease of cores and all my mods applied.

They were, sort of - depends very much on who you ask and their personal experiences. Suffice to say there were enough with a bad personal experience, mostly in problems with hardware, that eventually they got a (justifiably) bad rep and their response instead of addressing the issues has largely been to just ditch this forum and eventually even ditched their own forum; not exactly exemplary of paying attention to the community, including paying customers.
While I disagree with how they've been operating, it's their business and as long as people who feel they were wronged aren't taking legal action (the cases that are supposedly ongoing are ongoing like snails - though that's the legal system for you) and they are still somewhat forthcoming to customers (somebody needed a file recently, they asked and received, iirc), and are continuing their business even in modified form, they're already better than BFL. Admittedly not the most favorable of yardsticks to be measured against.
Yeah, thatīs why BITMAIN has more or less the monopol on SHA-256 ASIC Yes, Ive ordered LOADS of miners from Bitmain, and they are awesome!! Never an issue!!

Its DOWN --- 4 EVER! When you enter the IRC Chat a message pops up: " admin is closing pool see homepage for more details " No reply in the Chat or Facebook... Unfortunatelly i feel tricked because this stupid "HDD Shit". I developed an free Mobile App to see my Hashrate etc etc... for nothing. Searched on google but any other Altcoinpools are not so big... When there is no other opinion I will do my own Altcoin pool, still reading "How to Build a Altcoinpool" ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=701200.0) HTML, PHP, Ubuntu no Problem but the Json things are a little bit complicaded to embed this in the mobile app. To the coinmine admin, where I get no response from: FUCK YOU! Ya, prick ran off with the funds. That sucks because even though the admin is a dick, his pool was the best. Again, ANYONE know of another good pool that works like that (pays out to many different wallets)? Vegas

is there a chance that KNC comes up with a affordable miner for home miners There's always a chance. It's just highly unlikely given how they've burned consumers, have issued news releases indicating that they've moved away from physical sales and are transitioning away even from cloud mining contracts, and the general headache they would be returning to if they did. Ok thanks, it seems KNC was a legit company.... A legit company?!? Vegas

Ok so ive mapped the die locations. see pic. The readings to the far right of the screen are the temps for the dies and NOT the vrms. There are no temps for the vrms. I turned off all the dies except 2 dies at a time. I then use my thermal laser gun to find the only hot spot on the plate, that told me where the dies where. Anyway here you go:

I still hold lots of DarkTron. What is the compensation? Another round of DPOS? That would be nice. Vegas

Thanks frenchy. I saw that. It doesnt say anything about the surface mount resistor size. Ive ordered that professional desoldering tool , the Hakko FR-300 because I feel strongly that I can remove the entire vrm and replace. So that tool should be in in the next few days. IF I can remove the vrms, this will help fix alot of our problems, AND we might be able to upgrade to the 50A version of the vrms THAT would solve LOADS of problems! Vegas

There is a little delay due Yobit, but I hope that within a few days of coin finds on the exchange. ICO will be set at a decent level. I think 3000sat for 760,000 coins will be ok.
Yes 3000 sat is a good # for low coin count. Like all your specs. Great job!! PM me when it gets listed Greg so I can post on my site. btw, downloaded the wallet. Wont sync. 4 days behind. Not sure if your aware. Vegas

In console, use passphrase command to unlock
correct. Use walletpassphrase <yourpassword> 999999 This is not very safe, use it ONLY when you must. Vegas

So im am replacing some surface mount resistors on the ericson. I bought some new off ebay a few months ago, and Im out. I cant remember the size or specifications or that resistor. Does anyone know? I tried to go to Ericsson's website and look up the specs on the 764-BMR4641002 to find out the surface mount resitor as there are no markings on it.
Vegas
good luck non of that stuff has markings, maybe try to find an old cube for parts, maybe a Neptune would work Steve thanks for your response. I wanted your opinion on something: Ive carefully looked at these vrms and it appears that they could be desoldered with a professional desoldering tool like the Hakko FR-300 Take a look at the pic of our vrms : (TOP): Ive marked the holes in red that I believe a desolder tool with a built in vacuum could remove all the solder out, releasing the VRMs from the board for repair, and MAYBE upgade. (The underside): What are your thoughts Steve? Anyone else is welcome to chime in with info. Vegas

Ok got most of this done. Most of you know im very connected in the community , so im going to have some pro devs look over the final code and make sure we dont crash land. I am a strong believer that there are 2 major factors that influence a coins value: (in order of importance):
1. The dev. Who he is, what are his morals, his ethics. Is he out to screw people? Does he understand money? Is he dedicated to the long term of the project and plan to make regular updates, or is he out for himself to make a quick buck and run? Does he hide behind a new name and make all kinds of promises? How does the community as a whole feel about this person? Some things to consider before we launch. Those of you who do know me well, know my integrity cannot be bought at any price. I do have one person in the community that hates me, and everyone else hates him. He will show up here, and I already have plans to deal with him, and he wont like it.
2. Money supply. With an exception of LTC and BTC , coins that have 10's of millions of coins in the money supply are worthless. Period. Coins that are VERY low in supply and hard to obtain are VERY valuable. Ive made the decisions for the swap to premine 150,000 FLY for the swap. ALL of these coins will be distrubuted to ROS holders ONLY. None will be left behind. I will NOT keep any for myself , except what I am due as I am a ROS holder, and will post my wallet address as proof of what I am due.
The swap will work this way:
I will premine 150,000 total fly coins.
I will post the FLYcoin wallet on the OP
I will then ask every ros holder to pm me for instructions:
I will setup a new ros wallet for each person that emails me.
I will email that Ros wallet address back to them to send all of their ROS funds to it. You will also PM me with your new FLY coin address to send your FLY coins to.
I will allow 7 days for ROS holders to contact me.
After 7 days the swap will close. (Is this long enough to allow ROS holders to swap?)
I will calculate the % of ROS you sent me and send the same % in FLY coins back to you.
ALL information will be made public. It will leave NO doubts who got what. NO COINS WILL BE LEFT OVER. ALL 150,000 FLY WILL BE DISTRIBUTED and accounted for here on this thread. I have one ROS wallet , and will make that address public, and will take ONLY my % I am due like everyone else.
I have some awesome suprises for FLY and it will morph many times over. Just before launch , I am going to PM some of the highest and most respected members of the community and ask them to post an endorsement of me on this thread. This will bring MASSIVE trust and value to this coin as these are ALL very well known members. These members will NOT be paid to endorse me, they respect and trust me, its that simple.
I am tuned in to the community and would gladly hear your thoughts on this, good or bad. Now is the time to speak as we get closer, as this can be changed.
