3421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be comfortable with your strategy! on: February 25, 2022, 05:24:33 AM
One hundred percent true.

You can't be an imitation of others, be you, be unique, to make profits. Sticking to one indicator doesn't mean you're getting outdated, as long as you're making profits, you don't have to worry about anything because that's all what's important. Trading is not even a race, not a competition, so steady at your own pace while learning.

Because once you took the shortcut, it will backfire on you for sure and you won't like it.
Do not be afraid to lose money trying to find your own method as well, that is the most important thing. I mean there are tons of people who end up making their own strategy and that means we are talking about people who lost tons of money until they found the best strategy, it is not really that easy to get it done that way and you have to handle that a bit better before you do anything crazy.

I personally believe that you could use demo and all that to find the most optimum for you, but you need to do real trading to make sure. The reason why everyone needs their own is the fact that we are all different and we all have different styles, one thing that works for me may not work for you.
3422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find ICOs worth investing? on: February 24, 2022, 02:11:59 PM
Now is not the time to invest in ICOs from last year ICOs are no longer the choice of investors because ICOs are dead, to invest in the future we can see current trends such as in NFT or the metaverse, but we must look in more detail at the projects we will invest in, especially in the destination and developers and has a team that is experienced in crypto.
I would guess that pre-sale is still considered ICO in some sort of way. Doesn't mean that it would be considered ICO just because it is named that way is a very old school approach and we should be approaching every pre-sale type of situation like ICO, and there are tons of them out there.

I believe that we are getting a lot, we have 17k+ projects just on CMC and I have seen plenty of projects that have been out of CMC and not get listed, which means there must be something like 30k+ at the very least projects. That must be like at least 5k+ projects every year, and that means we are talking about 10+ project every single day, and most of them have pre-sale.

Assuming at least 10 per day, that is seriously insanely good and I would be very proud to say that I do not lose money on most of them because I avoid investing into rug pulls but it shows you how much we need to be careful.
3423  Economy / Economics / Re: What economic sanctions will US impose on Russia on: February 24, 2022, 07:41:46 AM
Maybe the sanction given to other country is not heavy because they why can they still live normally? is USA that powerful enough? Because, why can they give such sanction to every country but I don't think that USA can make Russia poor. It is not easy as that because Russian country is large and this country is also a well developed country.

If it is about bank problems, they can use bitcoin for a while. Bitcoin has no restriction and they are free to use it for sending and receiving money but I really think they shouldn't sanction Russia if they will evade the attack but rather they should sanction Ukraine because they are the ones that want the war to continue as they keep on attacking.
USA could be a question mark, but Europe is very very important. Why? Because they are getting a decent amount of gas from Russia and Russia needs to sell some of that gas to Europe to make money. They could keep selling it to others but suddenly zero to Europe would mean a lot of money lost as well. Plus, Russians buy a lot of stuff from Europe, but Europe also gets a lot of "cheap" stuff from Russia as well, that would be a problem.

On top of that there are tons of super wealthy Russians that made their money illegally, and then used that money in other European nations and even in the USA, so freezing those assets would be horrible for them as well since those super wealthy criminals are the ones that pay for these big politicians. All in all when you combine the USA and Europe, you end up with getting something huge in number and that matters a lot for Russian big names.
3424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run in Bitcoin on: February 23, 2022, 09:39:37 PM
As I am writing this, Bitcoin dropped 6.5k this past week. The reason why because of the tensions between Russia and Ukraine. If this didn't happen, the price of Bitcoin would've been at around 46k or a bit more. I'd didn't see this coming and we are still sitting between 45k-30k. So the Bull and the Bear is kind of in a duel right now and the Bull is losing control a bit.
I don't think the situation around Ukraine and Russia could have affected the bitcoin price. I don't see any correlation. If the national currencies of those countries or the stock prices of big companies were affected by the conflict, the cryptocurrency could not be affected.
How do you not see it relevant? I mean we are talking about a big war coming up, or maybe it is already over since Russia already took whatever they wanted and nobody is doing anything about it. I can imagine why Ukraine is not doing anything because A) It was mainly Russians living there and it wasn't really fully connected anyway and B) Ukraine can't match Russia in anything military related.

So all in all, Ukraine just got scared and didn't see it worth it. Other nations? Well other nations didn't care about Ukraine enough to intervene and just "stern warning" and "sanctions" and that's it. However, it is still a war and the markets got ready for it, so I wouldn't say totally irrelevant.
3425  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics on: February 23, 2022, 08:21:25 PM
It’s not all about countries creating their own digital currencies, the question is whether there is anyone who even cares about the CBDC? Is this the first time that a country has made an attempt in creating their digital currency? There have been other countries before now that have created their own digital currencies, but they never really gained any much adoption, and no one is talking about them this time around.

People really don’t have interest in making use of CBDC, just like some people have pointed out, CBDC is literally just the same fiat, there isn’t any difference and it’s also same banks that are offering this service to you.
Oh, there will be for sure. I mean we are talking about something that would replace the USDT and USDC and BUSD of the world. We are talking about something that is both digital dollar but also being able to exchange with the crypto at the same time. If places like Coinbase and Binance and all of that end up accepting the level of it then we are going to end up with something a lot better in the long run compared to USDT type of stuff.

I would definitely prefer that for sure, why? Because if we end up with something like Tether company stealing all of our money, how could we even stop them? We can't and that is why I prefer governments to do it. This is stablecoin anyway, not the real cryptocurrency, so I would be fine with it.
3426  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin failed to fulfill the purpose it was created for ? on: February 23, 2022, 03:44:12 PM
Bitcoin isn't controlled by any government yet so I don't see how it has failed it's purpose yet, in the means of alternative, I think that it's a gradual process and it's also next to impossible given that it's going to cause a massive power vacuum when fiat is suddenly replaced by bitcoin, and the financial institutions threatened by it's existence is also trying to hinder the progress because they will get obsolete real fast.
There are tons of people who keep forgetting this fact. Bitcoin is decentralized, maybe the last project that is left that we could be considering truly decentralized as well. Sure there are some changes with segwit and all that, it is not the legacy blockchain that all things started with, but it is not really that bad and can be considered decentralized. ETH has vitalik, LTC has charlie, USDT has tether/bitfinex, Tron has Justin, SOL has team that freezes the blockchain, ADA has team that fails to deliver smart contract, I can go on forever, ALL projects have a team at the top and the moment they leave, the project becomes horrible.

Bitcoin is not like that, leave it be like this forever without touching anything and it will survive no matter what. This is why it is 100% succeeding at what it wants to do and have not failed at it at all.
3427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost +$ 20k in future, advice for newbies on: February 23, 2022, 12:06:35 PM
You forgot to write down one more important point: to close your trade, don't be greedy after seeing a big profit because you probably won't be able to see it again shortly.
You may forget to write down many things, but this becomes an important lesson for you not to do it again in the future.
By always learning and never giving up, all your losses will be replaced with profits even though you haven't been able to get big profits in a short time.
Never give up because you still don't know what the future holds and keep trying.
That is one of the biggest things that people end up doing and that causes a lot of people to lose out. Back in the day that made a bit of sense if it was like a big big big increase. Like you opened a long when it was 10k and it became 20k+ and then you are still holding then it makes sense but right now?

It doesn't make sense since we are not in a huge bull run that makes it go up like that. At the end of the day, we are talking about something that is a bit more common and you should take your profit and run away with it. Just do it like most people do, have 1k in that turned into 10k?

Just take out 5k and then with the other 5k do it again, keep doing that if you keep winning, and if you lose then go back to 1k each, that means 9 more tries until you run out of money and go back to your initial 1k investment. How hard that could be?
3428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 23, 2022, 01:48:23 AM
Maybe you mean Aubameyang scored 3 goals, in the 23rd, 38th and 63rd minutes. Yes, this is an achievement that will be a motivation for him. Lin's attack at Barcelona has now improved by being able to score a lot of goals in one game. Now Valencia are their victims after previously Atletico Madrid who felt the same way.
Hopefully Barcelona can continue to be consistent like this.
Yeah, there must be just a confusion. He scored three goals and his performance was just very impressive after a really long time. I waited for this moment excitedly after watching him performing really badly at Arsenal. He is not a bad striker. He was just having some problems with his previous team and this affected him psychologically too as a result. And in this case, you can't expect a striker to score many goals. He has already started showing what he is capable of now and I hope that he goes on well.
I am sure that Auby will be feeling a lot better about himself after scoring three goals in a single game. I do not know how Xavi knew that he would be a perfect striker for his team because dude was doing nothing in Arsenal before he came here and he was seen as a player that didn't get too many minutes and they literally got him for free. Don't get me wrong Auby of a few years back would be able to get himself to any club and would worth a lot, he was a 75+ million pounds worth player only like 3-4 seasons ago, so we know he is a good player.

However, he was seen as washed and old and bad already but dude is 32 years old only and Barcelona really capitalized the situation very well.
3429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find ICOs worth investing? on: February 22, 2022, 07:04:38 PM
Hello! Is it still worth to invest into ICOs? If so, how do I find the good ones? Any recommendations here ?Smiley
Personally, I think that the first thing that you will have to do is to look for a reliable platform where ICOs are being listed, and when you have gotten a good platform where the best airdrops are more likely to be listed, you can then get started from there, but that doesn’t mean that you are safe, you still have to be very selective.

The good thing about getting the right platform is that you will be getting the best and as well most of the ICOs you will find would be legit. After that you have to start properly going through any ICO you see, making sure that every thing about it is good before you sign up for it.
3430  Economy / Economics / Re: Your opinion on side jobs on: February 22, 2022, 01:06:27 PM
This is the benefit of a side job, apart from not hindering the main job, this can also be used as an option to get a bigger profit in this case, of course (salary money).
There are some that are sacrificed, such as time to play, for example, that time is indeed used to do the side job.
You have done something good, as long as it doesn't interfere with business and the main thing is a side job is a very good thing to do even though we do need sacrifices in the division of time we have
I basically did this way back in the day. I was a content writer in my own language for a company as a junior marketing analyst, I should have been titled content writer but they just gave me an analyst title while making me write. Sadly enough, I am not great at my native language and kept making silly grammar mistakes.

During that period I met with my current boss who was in crypto and he was looking for a content writer, looked like not a greatly difficult job, and offered me 2 times more than what I was making if I worked really hard. I couldn't reach that level because I couldn't write that much content, but instead of wearing a suit and going to work 1.5 hours going and 1.5 hours coming back, I stayed at home with my pyjamas and made enough money. Ever since that day, I have been full time crypto marketing person and loving every single day of it.
3431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 22, 2022, 10:21:40 AM
I have heard that Pep Guardiola is really eager to keep Raheem Sterling at the club by extending his contract. Because there are so many rumours like he can leave the club this summer if he doesn't get a new offer from his current club.
I expect City keep Sterling at the Etihad, he has been brilliant for them for a long time now and even if there have been periods of loss of form (which is normal), he is still an invaluable player overall. City got Grealish at the beginning of this season, and i kinda think that signing was in response to sterlings loss of form at the time and possibility of an exit, but Grealish has been far from good since signing for City, and that could thus give them double thoughts if to let Sterling go or not.
That depends a bit on the transfers they are aiming at, isn't it? We are forgetting but this was the club that made some fake deals to get themselves to financial fair play and that means they didn't just fake it, the owners literally lost money on those deals from their own pockets (or networks pockets basically) to make themselves look richer (the club) and that means they would be willing to do everything they can to get the biggest names.

City is doing awesome right now but believe me, they could do a lot better. They have so much money that, they could offer 200 million dollars to Mbappe, not that he would leave, he is going to Madrid if you ask me, but at the end of the day they have that kind of money and that matters a lot. If they get a star like that, then Sterling could be gone.
3432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 21, 2022, 08:15:38 PM
While I do understand that an all-star game has little to no defense at all, you can never discount the potential and skill of Steph Curry making 16 threes throughout the entire game.

What makes this more interesting is that he made all of those 3s in different types (e.g. off the dribble, corner, beyond the arc, catch and shoot, etc.). I mean he is just very exciting to watch and he literally changed on how players play the game of basketball. An open three-point to him is equitable to a lay-up- just effortless and easy.
This was something I talked with my friend, I mean yes there is less defence but he made some shots that were insane. First of all he was defended whenever he was around the three point line, not like he wasn't defended, and the ones that he didn't get too much defence were like a foot in the half court line, he shot from 40 feet multiple times. I just wish he scored that half court shot as well because that would be stupidly great.

Defence or no defence, that 16 made threes is something that is insane, hell even 27 threes taken is something that is unheard of, that alone is great and shows confidence. It was obvious that Curry would be out there dominating if you give him that flying zone availability.
3433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 20, 2022, 08:02:51 PM
Well, they paid a lot, but eventually the player is leaving the club, isn't it? And that also is happening the very next year.

Not much of a really good deal, is it? And obviously, they are not going to pay €200 million directly to a player, because they are not stupid…. Right???

I think that time has come. Now PSG should accept the fact that they are going to face a big loss and have to let the player go.
99.99% that he leaves yes. And not next year, but this summer.
PSG already lost 200 million when they refused to sell him to Real Madrid. Now his contract is ending and they will not receive any compensation for his departure. It turns out that this year PSG paid 200 ++ (he still has a salary) million euros for the fact that Mbappe plays for them.
It is still a loss but not as big as you assume it is. I do not know the numbers and there is not an exact number for some of them but they did made some profit thanks to him as well. First of all you have to consider the jersey sales, Mbappe jerseys got sold this year, and that means they made some profit from having him this year, because those jersey sales are expensive and does bring in some money for the team.

Secondly they are going to end up being first in the league and win a lot of games and we can't exactly say how much of that was thanks to Mbappe, maybe all, maybe none, maybe somewhere in between and that means they made some profit from that.

We had fans going to stadium to watch him as well and we do not know that neither, they played in French cup and that is some extra as well and we do not know how many he won, and they are in UCL and who knows maybe win it? Maybe they won't but he helped there as well. So, we know that it wasn't zero, which makes it less than 200+ million lost.
3434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 20, 2022, 06:41:44 PM
Roma's draw I think is a reasonable result because we know Roma have not been consistent enough so far, but about Milan and Juventus I think these two teams can definitely win, especially about Milan. Just can't believe that Torino and Salernitana can provide a strong enough resistance to these favourites, Milan has a good chance to continue to collect full points because Inter, who are still playing less, are of course a very serious threat to Milan's position at the top. Likewise with Juventus, they are still not safe in their current position.
Roma getting a tie should be a danger bells ringing for Mourinho type of deal. I am not goign to hide or say anything but the reality is that I dislike Mourinho to begin with so I am a bit biased about this topic but I still believe that if you took Roma that was 7th and ended up as a team who is 7th again and getting a draw against Verona on a game this important than you should probably not be managing Roma and managing a much smaller team.

He is a great coach if you give him the exact roster type he wants. He doesn't even need super quality players, he just need players who are good enough on the roles he will give them, but if you give him players who are MUCH better but do not play the way he wants, then he is going to end up losing more games and that's his problem. Like a player who is 70/100 but amazing at "that" role, would play better for Mourinho than a player who is 90/100 but plays differently and not many teams could get those transfers.
3435  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to buy? on: February 20, 2022, 03:19:44 PM
long term is very suitable to make a purchase
for bitcoin at its current condition, because the price will strengthen again when the market returns to the green line, in this way we are able to get big profits in investing in bitcoin, many people take advantage of correction conditions to make purchases, depending on the readiness of the capital they have, because In fact, investment cannot be forced to be greater than the capital we have, but maximize profits so that they are in accordance with capital expenditures.
Right. indeed bitcoin investment in the long term always gives big profits. Imagine, the price of bitcoin continues to creep up over time. Even in 2021, the price of bitcoin set a new ATH record in the $68k price range. Therefore, when the bitcoin situation is in a bearish trend, it becomes an opportunity for us to buy and store Bitcoin before returning to the uptrend.
I know that the price will be 68k+ one day, I am not guessing, I know it will be from the bottom of my heart and if it doesn't then I would be super shocked. It means that buying at these prices and waiting however long I have to wait is a fine deal and it is not a big problem for me at all. Doesn't mean that I will get super rich right away, but I know that at the very least I will be able to profit from this a bit when I wait long enough.

To know that you will profit, if you wait, is good enough for me and I feel like anything that doesn't have a loss risk is a great deal and I do not feel like there could be a loss as long as you can wait long enough. Maybe I am wrong but I like to believe that I am right.
3436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 19, 2022, 08:58:46 PM
In the second half Juventus seemed to be playing defensively and some of Juventus' mainstay defenders did not play making the defense less than optimal because Turino in the second half continued to attack and also created several chances. Which finally Andrea Belotti was able to score a goal in the 62nd minute and change the score to 1-1 until the end of the match.
It's a shame that Paulo Dybala was the victim in the match against Turino and he was injured, and that's worrying considering Dybala is an important player to face Villarreal in the UCL later. And it has not been confirmed whether he will play or not and also several Juventus players who are still injured.
That's the thing about current Juventus, they are playing like they are not a big team and playing like a mid level team. A mid level team would get ahead and then try to stay back and not get scored, a big team ends up trying to score even more. You do not see City players go back on defense and try to keep a 1-0 score that way, you see them trying to score the second, even the third goal and never really back down.

You do not see this even from Inter or Milan from this league neither. So, it is really not a cool move by Juventus to give up that easily and try to keep the score at 1-0 for the remainder of the game. Shows a lack of confidence in the team and in the manager as well, if manager didn't give that order the players wouldn't have done that. Dybala is a greatly important player but by the looks of it him playing doesn't really change much for Juventus any more. Not because he is not great, but because they do not even utilize him enough.
3437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 19, 2022, 08:13:02 PM
Manchester United, Arsenal, West Ham, Wolves and Tottenham are the five teams battling for fourth place in the points table. I want to keep forward to West Ham, Manchester United and Arsenal. Because the Wolves' attack is weak and the Tottenham team has lost form again.
The point gap between these teams is not too much. The team that now wants to be fourth in the table must be consistent. As the competition is fierce, even if a team draws a match and loses 2 points, they will not be able to finish fourth in the table. Arsenal are now playing consistently, their chances of winning against Brentford are high.
That champions league ticket will be one of the most expensive ones as well. It required teams to make some decisions, and based on those decisions some transfers as well. I feel like we are going to see one of them at the fourth spot and then the rest of them will have some changes for sure, anyone of those four that did not became fourth will end up getting either the manager fired, or a big amount of changes in the roster as well.

This is EPL and if you are close enough then there must be a problem that made you lose out on that position and that's how people think at all times. Being 11th is ok, but being 5th means you could have been 4th and something was wrong.
3438  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukraine legalize bitcoin on: February 19, 2022, 07:16:46 PM
From what I understand from the previous posts, Bitcoin was already de facto legal in Ukraine. Now the parliament has made it de jure legal. I don't think that this really makes any difference on ground. If I am not wrong, Russia also recently adopted the same approach. We can argue that compared to nations such China (which have imposed a blanket ban on cryptocurrency), the approach from Ukraine is more conciliatory. And a few weeks ago India also adopted a similar approach after much debate.
That is sort of true. I mean it was definitely de facto legal, but in a world of governmental laws de facto legal means nothing for most big business', you can't just say "well let's start an exchange here and spend 10+ million dollars on it because it is de facto legal" and that would mean that you would spend money on a thing that is not illegal, but not really legal neither.

This is why it was de facto legal as in it wasn't a big deal for the regular citizen, but go ahead and try to make a business that earns a million dollars a month from crypto profits, that would have been hard to explain. So I could say it was "de facto legal to small investors" and wasn't great for big whales. Now it is great for everyone and that is the difference from what was and what is right now.
3439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 18, 2022, 09:05:02 PM
Sixers versus Nets finals, Suns vs Warriors finals, and then whoever out of the two of those four teams end up winning they go to NBA finals and face each other. That would be the ideal scenario for me. Suns vs Warriors because they are the two best teams from the west, but from the east I rather see nets vs Sixers (which is unlikely by the looks of it) because I think it would be a lot more fun to watch all the drama.

I know it is not going to be the best, I know people are expecting something like Bulls vs Heat because those are at the top but there is no drama there, it would be boring game that doesn't have any narrative to talk about in that case at all.

Indeed. But frankly speaking I didn't expect Lille to continue this season as they finished last season. I did however think the same of Inter Milan in the Serie A, but the situation in that league is more balanced than in Ligue 1. Beating PSG two years in a row over a whole season is quite the stretch. It would also have been seriously embarrassing for PSG. Now Lille is doing really bad although they still could make it to rank 3 if they really improve their game. But in the end who really cares given that PSG is 13 points ahead of the 2nd already...
Nobody expected them to be that great, they could have been something lower but at the same time I was expecting them to be at least good. There is a huge difference between "not going to win the league" to "they are going to be 10th in the league". I would have expected them to be second with a big point difference, like PSG is 13 points head of Marseille, and put Lille there instead of Marseille and you would have what I expected, or even be third or fourth and that would still be fine.

However, they ended up with basically 10th place for now and that is showing us that they are not good at all. Winning the league is a big stretch but being better than 10th would have been what is expected from them.
