I was among those that give Newcastle United a straight winning in the first half of the match, but presently that prediction doesn't go are planned and Leicester City seems to be putting their best foot forward in this game.

A really suspicious Barcelona which does not look like they want to score goals,especially Lewandoski which had a clamorous occasion which he scores from that position 100% of the time and he didn't this time.Real Sociedad meanwhile is making occasion after occasion for goal and it is only thanks to Barcelona keeper that the result is 0-1 still,it should be 0-3 or 0-4 and I don't know what Barcelona is doing.Dembele is doing great runs and shows but Barcelona misses that final touch to score the goal,it was supposed to be a party for Barcelona at home tonight while they are going toward their first defeat of the season before their fans in La Liga.
So, I also feel that there is something strange about Barcelona in this match. Because there are too many opportunities that would normally be goals but they miss. this is too unusual. The first half only resulted in a 0-1 lead over Real Sociedad. I hope in the second half the Barcelona players can be more serious about getting back on the scoresheet and winning the match. if not then it means I have to give up my bet for this fight. Lewandowski and Dembele I think they are usually better than this. An unexpected defeat for Arsenal, they made it easier for City and gave them an early victory. After such a long and hard struggle, they gave up early, it is not clear why this happened, but their last games were bad. Perhaps Arteta made a mistake and the team started to lose shape at the end, it's hard to say what went wrong.
Not unexpected for me, the Arsenal players already know that they have lost their chance to win the title this season, so no motivation for the players and nothing more for them to play for. Mbappe can't be considered a target for Real Madrid because they tried to hire this player in the previous season and they failed because accepted the PSG offer because of the money they could offer him for staying in PSG I don't think he can be a suitable option for Real Madrid, instead, they can try for Osimhen which can be a better option.

There is always a chance as long as the player still has an intention to leave PSG. Every player wants to win UCL trophy, but PSG has no capability to win it. By the way, Osimhen is also a good target for Real Madrid.  It looks like Manchester United are already preparing to offer a new contract to Lisandro Martinez because of his great services for the team so far. Thanks to him and Varane both the defense has been pretty solid. We see their absence a lot when they are absent. The recent days must be a great example for that as they couldn't win some matches while Martinez and Varane both were injured. I don't think Martinez wouldn't lean towards such agreement as he must be happy here. However his current contract already lasts until 2027 so I don't think there is any need to be in a rush. Maybe they want to do this to fend off interests in him but instead they can spend the money on new necessary transfers. Despite the criticisms from liverpools legend, Lisandro Martinez has been the third most vital player in the squad all through this season for Manchester United. He's been brilliant, settled in smoothly and also a fighter just as Manchester United fans desires, all they see is a new vidic. I'm in for him to get whatever improve contract but I hope it doesn't gets too much to affect his game on the pitch, if the board and management are feeling generous enough they should give him whatever seems appealing. |

I don't know how you see it and what kind of calculation is used as a benchmark for whether or not to qualify for the UCL. Isn't it obvious that the top 4 will qualify and now Newcastle has an ideal distance of points to stay afloat. Then with the remaining 2 matches they have that will determine them as a club that passes. Leicester City and Chelsea don't have much hope and both of them will find it equally difficult to conquer Newcastle, so far the strength and solidity of Newcastle's players are superior. Newcastle game with Leicester City and Chelsea won't be tough at all, this is a game they will have full points that will make them to qualify for champions league next season. Leicester City are in the relegation zone and struggling on how to win their games, Chelsea Is still a struggling team that Newcastle is fit enough to defeat. Newcastle being part of top four in the league have been sealed, I don't think they will lose their position. The last games of the season are game you don't want to Joe around with, every game at this stage seems like a cup final both for those fighting relegation and those for the Champions League position. Newcastle might still not even defeat Leicester City but I'm not to make such prediction, Leicester be looking blunt ASF and they have no hopes of escaping relegation currently. UEFA Europa League semi-final second leg was between Bayer Leverkusen and Roma at yesterday. Roma reached the Europa League final, drawing 0-0 against Bayer Leverkusen to secure a 1-0 victory on aggregate in their semifinal. José Mourinho left in tears as Roma reaches Europa League final. Roma will now face Sevilla in the Europa League final at Budapest’s Puskás Aréna on May 31.
I also congratulate the Bayern Leverkusen team. They fought very well. Bayer Leverkusen had 72% possession, and engineering 23 shots. Forward Moussa Diaby perhaps came closest to that elusive goal for Leverkusen but his effort hit the crossbar.
Leverkusen had good performance in the Europa League this season but they were not lucky to win Roma in the semi final. Roma vs Sevilla is another interesting game that will take place, Sevilla is always this lucky team in Europa League which I don't have doubt in them win Roma, as long as Sevilla has gotten to final stage of the league I think they are good to go with championship of the league. This is what they have been fighting for to get this season. Xabi Alonso deserves credit and even if they don't, I'm personally giving him credits for how far he's pushed his side especially against the experienced Jose Mourinho. Sevilla would be defeated, because I can remember the last time Jose Mourinho lost a final, Tammy Abraham would be the player with three European tittles if he wins the Europa League Competition. Since Pep Guardiola left Barcelona, it has been a difficult task for him to give one Champions League to Manchester City and after 2 attempt of a loss to Chelsea and dropped by Real madrid, I think the third time is deserved one for them, he didn't give up neither does the players, they have patient enough to lift this one. The only thing they need now is to finish Inter Milan in the final, the match has been decided but they shouldn't underestimate them because that is what they did with chelsea 2 years ago and they conceded an early goal and that was how they lost the battle.
Indeed, for a great coach like Pep Guardiola, it seems that he has had enough bad luck to be able to win the Champions League title since becoming Manchester City coach. He repeatedly failed and without ever giving up he did a very good job of bringing Manchester City to the Champions League final this season. I think maybe that history must have felt very bitter for Pep Guardiola when they lost to Chelsea in 2020 and Real Madrid always haunted them to qualify. But soon we will see Pep Guardiola's dream come true next month and this is the most important trophy for The Cityzen this season. He's not just a great Coach, he's a genius just as he's always said. After the first leg, I knew he was going to defeat Real Madrid at Etihad. He failed during the finals against Chelsea, last season against Real Madrid I won't consider it since it ain't the Champions League finals. I'm rooting for City to win the Champions League, Kevin De Brunye is one player who really deserves that Champions League, he's worked so hard and he deserves it. We've some outstanding nominees for the Premier League manager of the season. The candidates are:

To be honest each of them has their successes, but, a decision must be made to pick just one. I believe that Eddie Howe should be upper front among others as the best manager of this season. His turns an average side Newcastle into a highly competitive team and this should acknowledge by anyone. Overall, his leadership has been truly inspiring so far. However, it's hard to ignore the incredible Pep's success of this season. Man City are heading win the league, it would be no surprise if Pep is named manager of the season. It's important to remember that Pep has not yet win this award. There could be other strong candidates for the title. But for now, Pep is the obvious choice, and any vote cast in his favor would be entirely justified.
Pep Guardiola without much talks, Pep Guardiola occupies the top for me, he's always being exceptional, he is who he thinks he is. ( A genius ). Mikel Arteta lacks depth but taking those youngins this far in the league was wonderful. He's been the best manager arsenal have had since Wenger. I'm so much impressed with Unai Emery, though he has experienced the Premier League already, he's taken Aston Villa from relegation fighters to European Position fighters. Xabi Alonso has without doubt had a very good performance with his Bayer Leverkusen team this season and should be complimented for all the hard works that he's out in place for the club. However when it comes to tactical experience in coaching Jose Mourinho knows far better than he does so I don't think there's any ground to compare the two football managers.
Bayer Leverkusen who'll play the second leg of their semi-final second at home would definitely find it very difficult to break Roma's defense and I wouldn't be surprised to see Roma win away at Leverkusen tomorrow.
And in such games like this, the outdated Jose Mourinho defending tactics and strategies helps him defeat and win games like this that would get him into the finals. In this game despite the great debut season Xabi Alonso is having with Bayern Leverkusen, what I know is that, Jose Mourinho is having the advantage of advancing to the finals sleeping and snoozing on this game would never happen. Even if they don't win, I expect them to draw because that's thr best they can do to, Bayern Leverkusen would attack while As Roma would be very defensive and compact and they will defend tight. |
