3441  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the most appropriate thing to say when asked what business you do on the internet? on: April 29, 2021, 02:05:00 PM
Assuming you meet someone you'd like to marry and they ask you what do you do for a living or what business you do? If your job is on the internet, specifically Bitcoin or crypto space, how precisely would describe the business you do on the internet?

Few answers I find more appropriate:

* I'm a content creator who promotes companies through advertisements?
* I trade on Bitcoin and foreign currencies?
* I'm a developers in Cryptocurrency space?
Etc

What do you think about those ^ or What other ways would you describe your business?

I wouldn't worry so much about what to say because of you love each other it's not that important. Also after the last recent rally everybody had heard of Bitcoin's. So if you say that you are involved with bitcoins she should be able to understand it.

I saw an thread on a forum of an average looking guy who didn't have many tinder matches. He added to his profile that he is a bitcoin millionaire and got tons of likes over night. I think girls have a good understanding.
3442  Economy / Economics / Re: From 2020, the sale and custody of Bitcoin will be allowed to all German banks on: April 29, 2021, 01:45:54 PM
Germany is confirming his leading role in crypto legislation in Europe:

'Damn Huge': Germany Opens Up to Institutional Crypto Funds

Quote

  • New legislation enabling 4,000 Spezialfonds to invest in crypto assets becomes law in Germany on July 1.
  • Spezialfonds are favored by institutional investors, and interest in them is now exploding, according to analysts.

This is a sensible approach. Trying to build a favourable legislative framework to attract investments in the most promising field, leaving other jurisdictions lagging behind.

It's good thar some countries are being more friendly towards crypto currencies than others. Only with competition between countries we can hope they things are getting better for us. The number of investment funds in crypto coins are expected to rise every year. But somehow my bank hasn't recommended any crypto funds. I keep getting recommendations every week for stock and commodity funds. It might be still a long way until even the smaller banks will offer such products.
3443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: April 29, 2021, 01:32:14 PM
I watch a lot of snooker and I think I know the sport quite good, but even then it is not always simple to bet on it.
My ROI is only slighty positive after a lot of bets. Quite often surprises happen, especially in the smaller tournaments.
One thing I have learned, I only place bets on the winner (no handicap).

I never bet on snooker. Its a cool sport to watch but I just don't know enough about the players to make a bet. I think as long as you are comfortable with the sports and have all the information it's good to bet on it. Keeping track of your ROI is mandatory, because if we don't make a profit long term, it would be better to switch for some other sport.
3444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 29, 2021, 07:52:25 AM
Gambling is one of the activities to earn money, you can win and you can lose instantly but again it depends on you how it goes works. There are a lot of gambler already gained skills we called them like a pro sometimes and they are the ones who got a lot of profit every time but they can manage their money easily it's just called the risk management even in trading we here this term but in gambling its the same the holder/player must need to keep aware about the things like this if they are already winning or losing money. If you got a winning power it's better to take home not to become greedy sometimes it's the cause of losing more than your profit. If you lose it's better to take a rest analyze and understand your mistake and take it back again if you think you ready it's a bad gambling habit just to play and want to have gambling revenge.

I agree with you, risk management is the most important thing for gambling and for trading.  Bankroll management is a part of the Risk Management without we are more likely to go broke. As an responsible gambler we need to make sure that we always have some funds left to gamble on another day. If we bet everything at once and go all in, then we have the risk to bankrupt , which we should always avoid. The more we gamble the higher our chances to win big, we should always try to be responsible and go for big jackpots when we can afford it.
3445  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who can help ? on: April 29, 2021, 07:43:29 AM
Hey anyone can help me ? This is fast action.

I want register on pokermatch casino for no deposit bonus.
But do not have any available phone number for verification phone. Anyone can do it for me ?

My telegram @priestoso

I would be careful with using other phone number for registration purposes. Usually the phone number is linked to your account. So it could happen that the other person will gain access to your account and change the password, he could even withdraw funds. Better to use your own phone number, it's safer.
3446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Doge! on: April 29, 2021, 07:34:16 AM
I came across this video( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2NE1OebVNw) the other day which refreshed my understanding of NFT!

Digora aims to bring Native Blockchain Gaming and Asset-Arewarding NFTs into the mainstream.

I don't know if it will be a success, but I'm looking forward to the performance of this project.

Looking for the next Doge...

It is hard to tell which is going to be the next hyped coin like Doge Coin - the reddit users are a huge group of investors who can create a lot of demand. We have seen so with the Gamestop stock and now with Doge Coin. The huge demand was created from a few active members who kept showing their profits from trading. So if we have a new coin and can convince the reddit wallstreet bet community to invest we should be in a good position.
3447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 28, 2021, 06:03:40 PM
I have never played online gambling because I have no expertise in online gambling, and I also really don't want to try it even though it seems easy or simple because I am afraid of being addicted.
I prefer traditional gambling and playing with friends and betting small amounts of money and all of that just for fun, and playing when there is time to hang out because we already have our own busy lives and play just for fun.
I prefer to use Kritpo for long-term investments because I don't want my coins to just disappear, and long-term investments are definitely profitable.

One of the few non gamblers here on the forum. Kudos to you, I could never stay away from gambling. I think if you have every gambled in a real physical casinos than the jump to online gambling is not that big. Espeically now during the pandemic makes meeting friends and hanging out gambling very difficult. Gambling is a nice way to relax in the evening, especially playing some poker while listening to music is great to forget the stress of the day. I prefer long term investment too, but when prices are falling we can make back some of our losses by gambling.
3448  Economy / Economics / Re: Are some too blind to see? on: April 28, 2021, 02:54:35 PM
Tesla takes profit from crypto investment and some stupid people aren't even bothered, like I always say even billionaires who invest in crypto are here for the profits no matter how long they chill and hype the coins, be smart people

Eben though tesla bought a lot of Bitcoin's, it's just a small size compared to the overall market. We saw in the last few days that the bitcoin price dropped a lot, just to rebound again. Should we all be selling our coins just because Elon Musk is doing it? I don't think so. Let him take his profit and leave the market, we are here for the long haul.
3449  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Experience on: April 28, 2021, 02:49:50 PM
I'm a guy from a very decipline family, growing up my parents parents do lock up I and my sisters inside the house, so that we won't get influenced by our friends. My parents have always taught us to go in the good part of life. I and my sisters we subdued to the instructions of our parents. but when I started becoming a man I have known my self very well. Knowing  what is good and bad, I now have many friends, good and bad friends. One of my friend was celebrating his birthday today, I had to join him in a hotel to celebrate with him. I experienced so many things in that celebration. I have never come across harlot negotiating price with men for them to be taken home. But I experienced that harlotism is a means of some individual in the society's. I think the reason for this is presure on getting quick money without stress

It must be very disturbing for you experience such things at a young age. I would be careful with having such bad friends around you
There influence can change your character over time. In my opinion parents tend to be overprotective because they have experience and have seen bad things. Better to wait until we are older to get confronted with such things. Unfortunately money rules the world and some people are willing to do a lot of things for money.
3450  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: April 28, 2021, 02:44:55 PM
Rich in my opinion is to have everything we want, to eat and drink and to buy unlimited other things, that way our life will be forever prosperous in this world to our children and grandchildren.
but being rich is not necessarily happy if we can't enjoy it, the most important thing is that we can be rich and can enjoy it, so enjoy everything you have right now then you will be able to feel rich  Smiley

I agree with your definition of being rich, it varies from country to country. Because goods have different prices in different countries. Someone can be rich in Africa or Asia and only belong to the average families in USA. Trying to determine our happiness in terms of money is a bad approach. Sure we can afford everything we like but if we have nobody to share these things with it is not going to be pleasant.
3451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope others will learn from this on: April 28, 2021, 02:29:07 PM
Holding coins and tokens and not looking back until you start hearing how big crypto market is will leave you in a very bad mood, I'm sure this must have happened to some people here as well, this is my new sad story, I have some moozicore and nxps in holding and I just heard that they swapped to new coins leaving my tokens useless

MZI swapped to MZG
NXPS swapped to PUNdiX

I hope others will learn from this

Thanks for sharing your story here. I think everybody who stayed long enough in the alt coin market has stories like that to tell. For me the worst thing I did with alt coins was a few years was when I was gambling on Doge coin. As soon as I made a small profit I just exchange the coins for Fiat. I wish I just had kept them for long term hodl. It would have been wonderful to sell them this year.
3452  Other / Off-topic / Re: How or what you are up to now at 25 years old? on: April 28, 2021, 02:25:04 PM
Absolutely no judgement, not in this Bitcoin space  Smiley

https://www.businessinsider.com/25-things-you-should-be-doing-by-age-25-2016-2

The life after 25 years are getting more and more filled with regret. These days there is only work and lockdown. I look back at the great days being in university. Life was so much fun before corona. Also I wish I had put all my money into bitcoins before 25.
3453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are females welcomed in gambling thread? on: April 28, 2021, 02:19:28 PM
I have been here for quite a while studying the gambling thread to understand if there are restrictions to female posters on gambling although I haven't found limitations on the forum so I guess this is inverably giving me the open slot to do my predictions and engage in spots betting as well as casino game discussions without been any form of negative trust.

I so much value my participation on the forum and I dream of utilizing this noble forum to get proper knowledge about the world that revolves around me. I believe this forum is a better avenue to explore every continent as well as the games mostly played in such areas.

Gambling most especially on casino games sych as poker, blackjack, monopoly and a few others where i would love to engage more in getting invloved in interesting thread on this area as well as create interesting thread as well . Hope I'm welcome to the world of open gambling and games discuss

Yes of course are woman welcomed in the gambling threads. Welcome  Cheesy there are too many man and not enough woman in the gambling world. I like to watch poker tournaments on twitch these days and in 85% of the cases the final table is filled with only men. I think that online gambling makes it easier for woman to get involved because nobody really knows who is behind an Avatar or a nickname. In the good old pre covid times we rarely saw any woman playing professional poker. Maybe this is going to change soon.
3454  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla still an unprofitable automaker on: April 27, 2021, 07:56:23 PM
Despite Tesla's first quarter earnings, Tesla is still an unprofitable automobile manufacturer. Digging into the numbers, Tesla reported a $438M GAAP net income, but they had $518M in regulatory credit sales and more than $100M in profit related to bitcoin sales (they sold a total of $272M worth of bitcoin in Q1), which means the primary business of manufacturing cars is still not profitable.  Perhaps as they continue to scale this will change, but the valuation still looks insane at these levels, and electric vehicle competition is only going to get stiffer going forward.

I think Tesla is still in the growth stage, they are trying to build new factories all around the world while developing better batteries. Investors are just hyped about the future to come for Tesla. Once the new batteries have range of 1000 - 2000 kms the cars become much more attractive for many families. On top of  that is Elon Musk speculating on a harder stand against global warming. If the governments around the world will make new taxes against traditional fuel based cars it will be much more attractive to buy a Tesla. The future will be electric cars while the fuel based cars will die out.
3455  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What does the indian government do about the coronavirus in india right now? on: April 27, 2021, 07:20:03 AM
What does the indian government do about the coronavirus in india right now?

The Indian Government isn't doing anything about Covid. Why not? Because they haven't isolated it, yet, to see what it is, and to work with it to find out what to do. All they are doing (like the rest of the governments) is taking pot-shots in the dark.

Cool
It seems more people are not dying due to corona virus, they are dying due to the shortage of oxygen. India increased their tax to bring development in their healthcare sector when the first wave started but after a year they only collected taxes but didn't made any changes into their system.

Corona is fake but people are dying for real now.

So if corona is fake why are people dying than? I never heard of that healthy people just died because of the lack of oxygen. I think everybody knows that something is going on. And surprisingly people who der vaccinated are not dying anymore. In my country the average of people dying last year was around 80 years, while this year it is around 50-55 years.
3456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 27, 2021, 07:09:29 AM
Self control is a good point, available funds might be too tempting but ideally there is a way to self limit the daily spend for just such reasons.   Obviously some of us like to drink  while playing and what you decide early in the evening can go to pot in the small hours of the morning.   Besides that its possible to just make a mistake, the best site allows crypto of many kinds but also is perhaps offering the dollar bets which is paid for in crypto so you dont have to be doing sums to know the value.  BTC can change 10% in one day like today but thats a good thing if you already got it hence I tend to hold onto more then I need and Im used to not thinking of it as available but I appreciate the dilemma is a real one.

I agree, for me the it is more tempting to gamble with bitcoins the lower the price. I am not afraid to miss out on big price jumps at lower levels and if I am lucky can grow my bitcoin portfolio through gambling. The only real concern with bitcoins that I have is the high transaction fee, it just doesn't make sense to deposit one day and already withdraw one week later. It is better to use it for long term gambling. Drinking and gambling together is no good mix, I made bad experiences with that.
3457  Other / Off-topic / Re: Covid -19, Stagnant of whole world on: April 27, 2021, 07:05:15 AM
The only thing that makes me nervous is the serious limitations in our social life. I support security but vote reasonable. I have already given up on many things that I thought were natural. When was the last time you went to football? I can only use online resources - https://www.ua-football.com/en/live/ And I want her to become the new normal.

I agree the biggest problem with pandemic are all the social events that just got canceled. Both this year and last year all festival were cancelled. Especially during spring time we have usually do many small fairs and markets, everything canceled. It's very sad times. Our only solution is to get everybody vaccinated, these lockdowns are just not working.
3458  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla Bought 1.5 B in Bitcoins on: April 27, 2021, 06:57:27 AM
It might be pretty good news. Tesla has just shown Bitcoin can be a viable cash reserve stash and can be used to make a quarterly earnings report look pretty good. There are lot of corporations with major money just laying around. If they start to put part of that into crypto, meaning Bitcoin, well that would be really something.

Do remember Bitcoin pricing still reflects it is a risky asset. The more big players get in, the less risky it becomes, the lower this negative risk premium.

I am a bit mad on this news. I don't see it as a "pretty good news". I see them as somebody with indeed huge financial power playing pump and dump games on us, showing others with similar financial power what can be done (if they didn't know already).

In theory I agree that the more such big players come in, the less risky Bitcoin should become, unless they start playing pump and dump games, because there may be insufficient regulation in that area...

I think Elon Musk just wants to diversify out of USD. They got so much cash and don't know what to do with it. The latest volatility on the bitcoin market might make some bigger investors nervous, but if you have a long term approach and don't need the money in the meantime than doing for bitcoin is a good idea. Also without all these marge corporations buying into the market we would have never reached 64,000 USD so quickly.
3459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dubai's Government and Gambling on: April 26, 2021, 03:01:03 PM
According to Social Media Rumors People did think that the Dubai Government was apparently approving and giving license to various hotels for Gambling. But as it turns out the news was indeed false.
*Therefore if there is a person living in Dubai who was indeed fooled by this should realize that no hotel does own a legal license and be safe, be careful and stay away from such scams*

That is good to know, I haven't been in Dubai for years and now with the pandemic it doesn't seem likely for me to go back to it any time soon. For a sunny vacation at the pool it is the perfect destination. But for gambling, I haven't heard of it. For gambling I would probably always prefer to go to Las Vegas or Macau. If scammers now try to get money for gambling licences  than Hotels need to protect themselfs.  Same goes for the gamblers itself, we could lose a lot of money in a fake casino.
3460  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OH YEAH FRUSTATED TRADERS. on: April 26, 2021, 02:52:48 PM
FOMO is one of the big enemy that needs to be conquered if you want to succeed in trading and investing. alot of people usually neglect investing at the early stage but only wake up to join the train when its halfway or near the destination. the oppression from friends and mates is also one of the things that make people fomo. thats why its always important to keep your emotions under control. dont be oppressed by anyones profit, you will make your own if you do the right thing. i read comments from lots of traders that are lamenting of their loss because of fomoing to buy the top. one important thing to always remember is that there are alot of opportunity, all you have to do is to find them early and buy into them.

I agree, being involved at the early stages of a coin can make a huge difference in profits. Jumping on the train after others already bought in just means we are following the herd. I would compare the beginning of a crypto coin to a stock IPO. In most cases the stock prices jumps upwards after the IPO because more investors want to invest. This is similar with new promising crypto coins.
