3461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No one wants to spend 10,000 of their Altcoins for a Pizza on: November 25, 2016, 04:04:21 PM
No one can spend 10,000 of their Altcoins for a Pizza (fixed)

Altcoins are pure speculation tool, name me one damn altcoin you can use today to buy a pizza. none of them has an infrastructure, none of them is accepted by merchants

Anyone who has looked at them knows that's not true.  You can buy things with litecoin, dogecoin, ETH, and monero. Even Earthcoin was set up to buy a lot of things at one time.
3462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No one wants to spend 10,000 of their Altcoins for a Pizza on: November 25, 2016, 03:25:39 PM
I think this seems to be the problem with most altcoins.  None of the people want to follow the example of Bitcoin.
I guess they don't want to fathom that right now it would take 10,000 of them to buy a pizza.   Smiley

Are we ment to be taking you seriously ? You not making sense son.
It would take 10000 of what to buy a pizza? 10000 bagholders ? That is what ot sounds like you are saying but I think you mean 10000 coins.

So 10000 shitcoin for a pizza ? Ok I'll send you some shitcoin then you go buy a pizza for yourself k ?

You got my point.  The people who have coins that they believe in don't seem to realize that for them to be valuable they have to have
a real world value today.  So, if a Pizza is $15, and their coin is worth .0015, then they need to spend 10,000 of them to buy one.  Not bad
if it took a day mining something for some people.  Then, maybe the next pizza takes 8,000 coins because people are aware that they are
having a value.  In a week, it would take 5,000 coins, and lesser and lesser until a coin is worth much more.
3463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best coin to buy on polo now? on: November 24, 2016, 09:37:21 PM
I am investing very low on bitcoin mining earnings (which they say you can no longer do without expensive machines, but in the winter it's the same electricity as heating your house).  I've bought lbry, curecoin, steem, doge, ripple, synereo, and digibyte.  All are very cheap and portfolio is going up since I've been buying them over the last week.
3464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PPC] PPCoin Released! - First Long-Term Energy-Efficient Crypto-Currency on: November 24, 2016, 01:43:43 AM
The best PPC pools are:
https://peercoin.ecoining.com
https://peercoin.d7.lt
http://give-me-coins.com/peercoin-pool
https://www.multipool.us
http://mining.securepayment.cc/pools/ppcoin/
Is a good option the purchase of PPC is down but it seems that it is in a support, a greeting

Thanks.

Not sure multipool.us is a good pool...seems to have some outstanding complaints on threads with no response from them, and dead
threads going back a while.  It looks like it's alive when you sign up and mine there so any feedback about it welcome.  However, I did have
a small balance and then I noticed it disappeared, so I just stopped mining there.   I am still wondering if balances can go down because of the
large hash rate of the pool compared to one's own.
3465  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [14000Th] Eligius: 0% Fee BTC, 105% PPS NMC, No registration, CPPSRB on: November 24, 2016, 12:07:41 AM
I appreciate an answer to this.  New and learning here.  I put some has power at your pool, but went to another pool and so left the pool.  I notice the BTC balance that I have has shrunk about 50% in a day or so.

Since a block hasn't been found for a while, way longer than since before I started mining, I gather that an unpaid balance will go down if I no longer mine here?  That's normal?

3466  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: When we don't mine our balances go down? on: November 23, 2016, 05:52:39 AM
No funds should be going off the money added to your balance whether you're mining or not. Money money is money you've earned and pools don't take that away from miners. From your post, it just seems like you're confusing earning projections with actual earning.

Thanks.  The unpaid balance from Eligius keeps doing down, so I'm looking to see what the reason is behind this.   Since a block hasn't been found for a while, since before I started mining, I gather that unpaid balance goes down if I no longer mine there.

3467  Bitcoin / Mining support / When we don't mine our balances go down? on: November 23, 2016, 05:33:31 AM
Is it on all pools that when we don't mine our balances go down?  Is that because of the hashing power to find a block begins to accelerate past the previous contribution you made, and so that contribution dwindles in value?
3468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][The Original Multipool - Scrypt/SHA256/Scrypt-N/X11] multipool.us on: November 23, 2016, 04:09:17 AM
this site still on? shame they dont have eqihash ie ZEC etc to spread powers.

Reading back I see there isn't much activity on this thread.  At the page they say they use another message forum but it's not active either, just one complaint and no response.  Mining didn't seem to look too good from my initial trial.  It looked like I had a balance and then it was gone.  It looks like there is a lot of hashing there but no community saying they use it anywhere else.

Anyone know the better pools to mine Peercoin at?

Hi, I have an Antminer S1 that I want to mine peer coin with.  I'm successfully mining it at the pool with an Orb right now.  I created
another worker and used:

http://us.multipool.us:3335
name.workername2
x (anypassword).

I applied it, and turned the S1 off and on from it's recent BTC mining, but it doesn't seem to be catching on.

I had a couple older antminers on the pool and now pointing them to one with an easier payout but I have a smaller ASIC at the pool which
is getting 30 gh/z which is much higher than it's rated as.  I have never used a "diff" command in any of my cgminer batch files and I'm wondering if I should use one here.  I'm getting shares rewarded 41%.  Is there something I can do to improve that?

3472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No one wants to spend 10,000 of their Altcoins for a Pizza on: November 22, 2016, 09:41:47 PM
Sounds good but IMO you are wrong. There are some good people holding alt coins, too. I guess there have to be.  Roll Eyes

I'm not saying they are bad people.  Most people including myself do things for reasons that are not good or bad morally.
Sometimes it's just because we all have limitations in how far we can think or act.

So when *is* the estimated release date of cure 2.0? Two more years or never?
Never

whenever he write something bad about curecoin remember why

Sorry but i already sold it @7000 but will buy again @2000 sat. And i cant see any buy wall

and guess what he will write once his low CURE buyorders are filled?

YES right guess

CURE to the moon..........
You re not right only guess it. I think you cant see 24 hourse volume of this coin no one buy this coin with this volume and me too guess DEV team will continue dump price because they need cheap cures not me. And i still cant understand why the peoole mining cure and why buying ppd not profit very high diff for this price. So no one dony buy ppd because when you think rent 1 year ppd it is not profit.
So DEV will continue dump price but i think it is good strategy for DEV team.

This is virtually the same story with every cryptocurrency, and even to a lesser extent Bitcoin.  It's hard to develop easy to use marketplaces
for coins.  I have a lot to sell, in many different areas, and I've only been at this a few months, mostly focusing on mining and I can tell you
that it isn't that easy to just hook up with a marketplace and say, I'll sell this for any of the top ten coins, Curecoin included, etc.  People hold the coins but they for some foolish reason seem to want to hold on to them.

How many actual Curecoins are minted right now?

3475  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Good pools that let you keep some of your block reward? on: November 22, 2016, 05:20:33 PM
Thanks for all the help.  Was reading the whole thread last night and a lot of great history and times.  It seems the best of both worlds, both getting paid for all you mine and playing a type of lottery.   I see that at certain times like now, the DGM will fall faster than I had hoped, and it was hard to keep it above the payout level with a very small ASIC.   So, with older ASICS, one is forced to keep a S1 or better miner here from time to time to stay above that threshold.

My PPS Total Shares for round will turn into BTC Payments for Round when a block is found?  What is the math on that?  I understand that this
figure is only knowable when the block is found.

I hear a lot of experienced people talk about keeping USB miners on pools as a type of lottery.  That is probablistically possible? (I understand not probable).  I wonder how the odds of that are compared to a state lottery.

Someone should make an index fund with the top ten less expensive picks in this thread.

Dead Cat Bounce

To make your pronouncement a little more dramatic, we have a film with it:

So, it will be a little more memorable if what you say is true.

Thanks in advance
Best regards, Kevin

Thank you!
Your message has been received. We’ll get back to you shortly.

And now we wait... they'll get back to us shortly  Roll Eyes

Where are they going to do that?  They aren't using twitter much.  Maybe they should talk about being
bought out?  I really love how they created something but doesn't seem to be miner/marketplace driven.
