Is this considered double posting?

13 minutes between the two posts, also if their posts "are not payed" he is wearing a sig ad.
Sorry ndnhc but I want to understand what are the "rules" here (I have reported the post, and ask if a mod can merge them in one).

Thanks for the attention.

The first one is a reply to a post.

I came in later and made a change to the contest.
It is an announcement very relevant to the topic and there is nothing wrong in making another post to get it noticed.

Hey there, I will be withdrawing my avatar designs from the contest. Message me if you have any questions.
Even if you withdraw and the site likes your design cant they use it ?
Imo that would be morally incorrect but should be legally fine. After all in most of the cases in such contests(though not mentioned here) , the design you submit becomes the property of the company to which you send it.

We love it. Cheesy

But since he withdrew, we are not going to use it. Sad Sad

Edit: Forced to edit this post since I can't make 3 in a row?..  Undecided

My humble entry Cheesy

Da Dice presents...  Grin

Quote from: New feature!
Loyalty Points:

Earn upto 25 Loyalty points every week! 1 LP = 0.2% of the total payments for the immediately preceding 4 weeks (including the current week). LP will become zero, once the participant leaves or is removed from the campaign.
Converted to Bitcoins when 100 points are accumulated!!

I like it!  Is this in lieu of the current top three "constructive" posters bonus or in addition to?

In addition to. The bonus per week was increased to 0.4BTC and this time we picked 10 winners, paying from higher to smaller amount.

(Amounts doesn't matter. If you are highlighted, you are awesome! Cheesy)

Is there any update to allowing a higher number of maximum number of posts?

Nope. Only a few are making it there..

Is there a max number of loyalty points one can accumulate

25 a week.
so no matter how many weeks we are here we get 25 per week forever? So when we are here for 20 weeks we would get a 100% bonus of the average of the last 4 weeks earnings?

Edit also do we get them retroactively or only starting now?

lol. Once you get 100, points go back to 0 and it is converted to BTC (20% of previous 4 weeks payout) which is paid out with the payout in that week.

From this week onwards. Smiley

I think the better way to put it would be that I'm offering my approx 1000 previous posts for some minimal amount of payment.  I understand completely if you're not interested.  I guess it's just that for me, I'm not having a lot of time these days to read the forums and so I figured I may as well remove the advert and have less clutter on the boards (unless you want to pay me something to leave it up Smiley).

I would also like to get paid for doing nothing. Don't be so stingy. Join a campaign like bitmixer that doesn't require any minimums if you're not going to be making many or any posts. At least there's nothing to worry about and then if you do make any posts at least you'll get something for them.

I can't see any reason for going after sed like this.  It looks to me like he has removed his signature and moved on.  How is that stingy?  Wouldn't it be stingy of him if he had stuck around in the campaign taking up a spot that someone else could have taken but not posting?

FWIW, I can see his point here, I'm surprised that it's not worth something to advertizers to have signatures up on older posts.  However, I also understand that a campaign manager probably isn't in a position to make that decision.

Hardly 'going after him' but I think he's being a bit cheeky here. He's basically saying I'm not going to be doing any posts but I want to get paid for them any way. From an advertisers point of view it's not worthy of paying actual money for previous posts as next to nobody is going to see the older ones. Sure maybe one or two here and there but certainly not worth paying for.

Compromise guys. Smiley
People just have different opinions.

All cool.  Grin

A frying pan?  I don't get it.

Exactly  Grin

http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Samwise_Gamgee#Frying_pan

Weapons
Sword
Sam uses a short Barrow-blade for melee combat in books, movies and video games, but for a time after Frodo was attacked by Shelob and sent to the Tower of Cirith Ungol, Sam used Frodo's sword Sting to rescue him and more.

Frying pan
Sam uses his frying pan in Balin's Tomb as a weapon alongside his Barrow-blade.

Throwing weapons
Sam can use rocks to hit opponents from a distance, however that is not their only purpose in the book (Frodo). In The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (video game), he uses throwing knives instead of rocks.

Who needs a sword?  Grin

After looking at signatures presented in this thread I must say that I would help immensely if ndnhc stated in OP that all signatures should already be presented in the final resolution form of 120x80.
It is hard to compare signature projects when one sig is bigger than other, even I noticed after some testing that some pictures downsized don't look so enticing anymore...

lol, I didn't read this till now, but I had already added it to the OP and made the above post, lol. Cheesy
3493  Economy / Services / Re: DA DICE Signature Campaign - 'Da' BEST Yet | HIGHEST RATES! | JOIN THE FUN! on: April 14, 2015, 07:27:09 AM
FYI, I'm withdrawing from the campaign.  I've just been too busy lately to be very active on the forum and so I think I should allow someone else to have my spot if they want it.

I've removed the sig.

Thanks guys, 'preciate your work.

EDIT:  If, for any chance, dadice is interested in having me keep the sig (but with no minimum posts) then perhaps PM me or something.  I obviously wouldn't require a lot of money for this, however, I *do* have nearly 1000 posts on the board (a lot of them in very common threads) so there may be some value to dadice in having me leave my signature.  Just let me know if there's interest here.

There is actually no minimum posts for the campaign currently, although the instructions is that it is waived for quality poster, and if you were to post 1 post for the whole week you will still be pay as long as it is a quality post, as for now, the spot for the Sr. Member is decreasing, this might be a chance for another person to acquire your spot

I confirm.
Quality posts will be counted even if it is less than 20.

I haven't removed it yet. Please add the signature back in a few hours if you want to continue.

Thanks Smiley
i think he is looking for payment without having to post. Similar to how bitmixer used to work.

Well. If that is the case, then I won't be able to help..

Here's are a few mockups. They all use the 3:2 avatar dimension ratio so they can be shrunk to perfectly fit the current Avatar area.

So many cool entries...

Looks pretty cool Cheesy

I would say to submit the resized designs too. So, that comparison will be easier. Smiley

I saw that you created thread and you are seeking the best ideas for DaDice's Avatar. That mean you will be opening Avatar's campaign soon? It will independent campaign or it will be available only for people who are already are part of DaDice's signature campaign? Can you tell us the rates now etc?

It might launch soon. It will be conducted in a small scale initially and restricted to the members enrolled in the signature campaign. Smiley

We keep the suspense. Wink

Just a reminder for everyone to please make sure they are pre-paid, or otherwise willing to trust snailman. My understanding is that snailman used and lost the campaign money gambling, but intends to continue to fund this campaign using his future earnings.

Do you have anything to back this claim?

I don't think he will need any..

Please remember, this is an unofficial campaign as I don't have the time to vet the participants or guarantee the payments. I however have given Snailman a bitcoin to use for his campaign as he sees fit.

There is also an extra reward for making an DaDice Avatar add-on. that is attachable to a usual personal Avatar. Smiley

Adding it to the OP.

The leftover space, on the right should preferably be white/blank.
Dimensions: around 30-45 width, 80 height.

Add on mean My Original Avatar + Dadice avatar? If yes then please reserve my spot.

Thanks

Yeah. Smiley

Well, I think marcotheminer will be against participating in another Avatar campaign? Besides, I think you will also see one other campaign launching shortly.. Just what I think. Wink
