Isn't the windows 10 free?

Yes, you can upgrade free from Win 8.1 but it's only free for 1 year AFAIK

In case you are misinformed, Windows 10 is a free complete full upgrade for all users who upgrades in 1 year.

That said, only Windows 8.1, 7 (except Enterprise users) and some specific others will be the only ones who can upgrade for free in the first year.
If you got XP, Vista, you have to pay. And all upgrades after 1st year got to pay too.

3 GB approx. download.
2602  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pachinko - Highly Addictive Bitcoin Game | 1.05% house edge | New Promo Board| on: July 31, 2015, 06:35:04 AM
People are already leaving and starting playing here. And if not leaving entirely they have started plying pachinko. it will take time but this website will definitely take off maybe better than luckybit. This is the reason also LB admins are scared and hence their people are posting in this thread.

I just need 1 OK from the website owner and I can also spam LB thread same like you guys are doing with all my contacts here.

For one, I am not affiliated to Luckyb.it.
I have seriously no idea why you posted https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1094065.msg11988685#msg11988685 Tongue

For two, you will only destroy the reputation by doing that. LB AFAIK has not resorted to any such tactics and that is why they have a good community, and trust me, at least a good per cent of the potential players will be annoyed by that kind of advertising.

I am only skipping that, since I am not exactly sure whether the admins are doing it, or the players are.
2603  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: July 31, 2015, 06:18:15 AM
Hi, I'm a very new one in this of Bitcoins world. I try to test satoshidice 2 days ago, I deposit same little BTC to try it. I was in the site when I close my computer and a day after try to use again was a new user and not funds in the account, how I do to go back to my user, I never see a register or any similar, just set a password as they allow.
I sent email to support but no body answer me.
Can any body here help me!
Regards

Hi,

SatoshiDice identifies a user by the secret url. So, you need access to the url to get to your account. Options are:

1. Check your History. Hopefully, if you haven't cleared it, you should get it back. Smiley

2. If that doesn't work, email the deposit txid or the deposit address you deposited into, to the support and PM both
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=520402
and
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=116564
with it.

Thanks Smiley

Edit: Info to help you understand how things work.
SatoshiDice works like this: When a player visits the site, a secret url is automatically assigned to the player. This is actually the identifier of the user as well as the password.
For example, I created a new account, say
https://satoshidice.com/?secret=8ae37cd32beb4031f1f720bc6dc8cc50#DoNotShareThisURL
8ae37cd32beb4031f1f720bc6dc8cc50 is the secret.
The password you set is merely a secondary password that protects you from unauthorized withdrawals.
So, you need the url to access it later.

Disclosure: I am not affiliated to SatoshiDice. I have recent/present affiliations with Da Dice. Well, you can guess from the sig. :-)
2604  Economy / Gambling / Re: House Edge vs Winnings Tax on: July 31, 2015, 06:11:27 AM
I thought it is already like that? Tongue

For games against the house, the concept is house edge.

For games between players, the concept is fees, usually taken from the winning player's share.

Quote
Which do you think is better from the players perspective:

This is a weird question considering that, if you are talking about a PvP, there is no concept of house edge (it is possible, but it not implemented since it will pretty weird, like roll between 49.5 and 50.5 and house will take everything, since that is not very encouraging to players).
and if you are talking about a game against the house, the fee and the house edge is literally the same. (You have both choices - 2x at 49.5% chance and 1.98x at 50% chance)
2605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people still play dice? on: July 31, 2015, 05:59:35 AM
Dices have lower house edge than other games. Compare to table games like roulette for example

yeah, general 1% house edge is lower than roulette, slots, and so forth, only blackjack has lower house edge than dice, but it needs more strategies, dice is very easy and simple to learn and play, what we need is only luck.
Nah dude, even with an amazing amount of luck you still can't win against those house edge, you would still end up losing to them.

Nope. The simple strategy is Quit (forever) when you are ahead.

2606  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Gen Social Gambling Dice Experience | Progressive Jackpot on: July 31, 2015, 05:48:48 AM
As I know Dadice's payout detail in the login page is only based on how many winning rolls made. It means that the wagered amount from losing rolls are not counted. And as we all know wagered amount is the total bet amount made by players (both lost bets and win bets) So I think that this is not the best way to know the estimation of the daily wagered. CMIIW

Yeah, that is right.

But also I think, "Today" does not mean last 24 hours. Just from 00:00 UTC onwards?
It is misleading if you take that amount as the wager for the last 24 hours, since both "wager" and "the last 24 hours" are different things completely.
2607  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Gen Social Gambling Dice Experience | Progressive Jackpot on: July 31, 2015, 05:39:43 AM

Submitted my prediction although the very date I wanted to predict was already taken ;( there should be a way to distribute reward but let more users predict same dates.

Hmm, that is right.

So, technically, we need:

1. One integrated prediction contest across fb, twitter, reddit and forum, and possibly with a higher pot than 0.1 - up to 0.3BTC.

2. Only one prediction per person. Make rules stricter to make that happen. How about requiring a Da Dice username? Either way, only someone who knows DD can make a more accurate bet. It should reduce (but still not completely) the multi-account abuse.
For handling that:
a) DD username?
b) Minimum activity requirement?
c) What else? I am aware of certain people having multiple full member and sr. member accounts. Having a minimum wagering requirement will help, but it has other limitations like restricting genuine people to make the prediction... Any ideas on this? Da Dice certainly don't want it to be restricted to, but want to make it more fair.

3. Allow multiple people to make the same prediction. Certainly the first to do so, should get the most.

There should be no issues with the site.  What browser are you using?  Is anyone else experiencing issues?

Nope. All fine on Chrome. Smiley

Bump. Still trying unsuccessfully..
2611  Economy / Services / Re: Manage a website and i will pay on: July 30, 2015, 05:22:15 PM
So basically you are paying $50 per month, in exchange you expect someone to manage your site everyday for 3 hours a day.
So I calculated this and if I am not wrong you are gonna pay $1.8 per hour. I guess in some really poor regions of the world this is quite a fortune...

Exactly.
I wouldn't take the job even if I had 5 hours free time every day.

But I am sure someone will be interested who doesn't mind spending some free time to earn some extra bucks. Wink

Maybe because you both live in a country where $1.80 an hour is a bad wage, but just because it is bad in your country does not make it bad for all people, here take a look at this and you will see that for many country this is a good wage for them.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_minimum_wages_by_country it is insane the difference in wages from place to place.

This could enable a family to eat in many places.

OP should be more generous though lol

My country is ranked $0.00-$1.00. Sad

You are right, but those people you mention are less likely to be posting here, reading this thread, and actually getting the job, unless you mean the poor people in developed countries.

I am trying to get the rate up, mate. Grin You should be supporting. Wink

Wage is different from salary. If OP needs a good job, he needs to pay more, that is all I meant. Smiley
and my point was: (nothing about countries)

But I am sure someone will be interested who doesn't mind spending some free time to earn some extra bucks. Wink
I only agreed to the argument. Not the last sentence. No offence was meant in any way, since I know, just as you do.

Yep. They have a board competition in Games and Rounds section. Check a few posts above. Smiley

Maybe It could be coming from a player from this site like they get people to try the site so it will get to 7000th roll faster. If someone promote dadice in primedice it doesnt mean the marketing of dadice is doing that too right?  Grin but this is a very bad advertising even if it is from the player

Yep, may be it is. But sending luckyb.it players can't be their doing, lol. Smiley
I am fine with that. Only players may get irritated, unless they note that the luckyb.it players' tx fee is now sponsored by pachiko. Wink

Just that sometimes it gets annoying. The game is unique in a way, so it will grow. Whoever he was, he was spamming all over the chat before he got banned. Creates bad impression for existing players at least.

Make it 0.001BTC to anywhere around 1BTC. No complaints. Smiley

Right now, all players of LB's tx fee is paid by Pachiko? LOL. Tongue
2615  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pachinko - Highly Addictive Bitcoin Game | 1.05% house edge | New Promo Board| on: July 30, 2015, 03:38:27 PM
Oops! Bad marketing again. Wink

Banned in chat of a dice site.
(nothing to do with Da Dice. It was another one. You will know from the chat interface.)

If you hired someone for doing marketing, you ought to get someone else to do it properly. Tongue
Sincerely hoping you are not the one doing it.

is satoshicircle.com scamming it's customers?

I do not think satoshicircle and satoshidice are run by the same people? I may be wrong on this, but years ago when I played there, I never thought it was same company.

Of course they are.
Head to https://satoshidice.com and check the top right. Or check the signature/personal message of their staff. Tongue

SatoshiDice, SatoshiSlot and SatoshiCircle are of the same guys.
2618  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT ★ +1.5M bets ★ +78k BTC wagered on: July 30, 2015, 12:40:39 PM
I'd rather play dice, the chance / multiplier is too low.

Actually if you play green game of LB, you will find there is great chance to win.

The odds are the same (with 1%+ edge). Only the risk is different. It is similar to betting a 1.1x or 1.5x in dice. Wink

At dice, you are in full control. You can choose any odds.
