2581  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: August 01, 2015, 08:06:01 AM
Yes, hence the warnings =)

An app owner has full control of the money that is deposited on their app, until it's been pulled back into the moneypot account. We authenticate the app using an app_secret, so if this ever gets leaked the person can make any API request on behalf of the app

This is really misleading the btc is never on an app or casino it's just a code stating that player has x amount on that app and when they return their btc to MP it's credited to their account. All money is entered and withdrawn from mp no app or casino ever has physical btc on it...

As my statement was not misleading, I am going to say it again an application has complete control of all money deposited to it until that money is withdrawn from the app, which is why the deposit UI shows that warning in every place a user can fund an app:

MoneyPot does allow you to deposit and withdraw from an app instantly, but when funds are on an app the app can do what ever it wants with it. That's how the app makes bets, and can tip accounts. The fact that the app doesn't have physical bitcoins on it is pretty irrelevant as it can just withdraw the money  (as the attacker did today).

So please do not try subvert the warnings MoneyPot gives, or misrepresent the relationship.

Yeah, that is completely right.

I read through everything in the Moneypot site, the FAQ and everything. So, when you deposit money to an app, the app has control over it. But the deposits and withdrawals are instant, so the player needs to only deposit the money he needs to play, and withdraw it when he closes the site. Done.

For those who were waiting on update on blockchain situation. Then it's all good now for the last hours. There should be no more problems.

Just deposted .4 btc into my account and it's had 4 confirmations from my end, but there's nothing in the satoshi wallet.  Been about an hour waiting.  It's not an unconfirmed balance, just nothing showing up at all like the deposit was never received.

for me say unconfirmed and nothing happen....

why did you still deposit when SD is having major issues and there were people complaining about the withdrawal process..

I just felt like gamblin'

SatoshiDice is not the only site in the world that got Dice. Tongue

They haven't fixed anything yet. Bugs are widespread and the support just sucks.

4 or 5 currently have deposit issues. 2 with SatoshiCirle, 3 with SatoshiDice yet reported on the forum. Guess what? I am pretty sure at least 20 players were affected because of their bugs, and they will be simply waiting for the email response that never comes and will just eventually move on. This is daylight robbery!!

I sincerely request SatoshiDice staff to check every single account and sync it properly with the balance/deposit.

I ill pay if i win in bet, otherwise not, if i win we share 50-50 , if loose I cannot pay
2586  Economy / Gambling / Re: BidyBit - One cent bitcoin bidding game!.com on: July 31, 2015, 07:40:42 PM
We apologize for the problem, we are fixing it right at this moment, and everything should be running smoothly asap.
Those who have made a deposit, please email us the details to support@bidybit.com

To those who ask if this is a ponzi. It most definitely is not. What yo see is what yo get.
We dont take money at any part of the site, only at the withdraw section. As other cent auction sites take percentage for themselves from each game slot directly, we believe that it is more accurate to take it at the end of the game(withdraw step), as you always can know exactly what we get and what yo get, and that this amount wont be hidden or changed as if it would be taken directly from auction slot.
This is best for our players. Smiley

Email sent! Smiley

I am busy now, so tomorrow once I find my balance, I will resurrect you and you can be officially alive and kickin'. Smiley

Now that I don't trust the site, one it did it show my deposit yet, and two, the counters are going awkward.

And where is the house profit here? I can't see any mention of any fees wherever I checked? I hope I don't find somewhere in Terms that "you agree to let us accept your entire deposit as fees. Grin"...

Have you clicked the withdraw button? And I think this is the way to the house gain the profit, you will read this anyway :
The commission for this instant action is as low as 10%. This goes to keeping this game active and online + we get a coffee for our work!

P.S : keep update on your deposit issue..and hope you did not made a big deposit Smiley

LOL.

Well, the deposit is not small, but not large either. I'd certainly like it back, either way. Smiley

Don't mind ndnhc, both shorena and quickseller are now promoting a white label "Casino" with no proof to be provably fair (no RNG Certificate) and with no cold wallet address that is covering the jackpot of 3,800+ btc. That is how credible they really are  Grin Funny isn't it Huh

If you guys[1] dont stop bringing up other casinos than dadice this topic will get locked. If you cant stay on topic, dont bother posting here. If you have something to say about my rating feel free to contact me. I dont think have ever labeled you as scammers my rating is a warning and phrased as such.

Well, QS is labeling Da Dice as scammers with some weirdo proofs.
http://i.gyazo.com/8447d64976f4b8b2c05f748d7b038cca.png

Either way, I am and was fine with your negative feedbacks, since I can understand your's, El Nico's, dooglus' concern well. But QS is tagging it as a scam which is what I am questioning.

Quote
-snip-
What a pity, they promoted your site very actively but now are both claiming dadice is scam, I can't understand why, I think you paid them the best rate, but they don't know to be grateful. And you haven't scammed anyone so far, how can they claim you are scam.

I do not claim this, I just voice my opinion that I would not play or invest there and I see all signs of a scam. This is a difference. I no longer advertise for dadice because of this. I would think its very strange to advertise for something you would not use, because you are afraid of your coins.

I agree with you on that.

Does it mean that the sites who provide the cold address has no chance to be a scam site in the future?
I'd say that providing cold address to prove solvency is not a guarantee, because there is always a chance for them to choose not to pay out.
Not mention to defend Dadice, but I'm saying in general.

No, there is no way proof that you will not scam in the future regardless of what information you provide. It is however a common thing to provide a cold storrage address and requesting such. Dadice reaction on the request is what makes many of use feel they are a scam about to happen and no longer want to be associated with them. As I said in the past, I hope I am wrong, but I also cant just stand aside and not do what I can to warn about this.

[1] and other entities. Even its phrased as such this not only towards dadice.

Signing a cold wallet address doesn't mean dice owners cannot run with their funds. Currently, many players reach the conclusion that a signed message means their funds are safe, which unfortunately is not true.

Yes, but not providing a cold wallet address does not make it a scam. I am honestly, not aware of PD having made public their cold wallet address. May be I am wrong, but if not, well, why not?

Ignore the grammar plz

Preventive measures:

1. Have 2FA enabled.
2. Enable secondary password.
3. Have a decent antivirus installed. Top up with anti-malware if possible.
4. Don't download suspicious stuff, view suspicious emails, visit suspicious webpages, links. Use common sense to a higher degree.
2593  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: July 31, 2015, 05:09:50 PM
Hi, I'm a very new one in this of Bitcoins world. I try to test satoshidice 2 days ago, I deposit same little BTC to try it. I was in the site when I close my computer and a day after try to use again was a new user and not funds in the account, how I do to go back to my user, I never see a register or any similar, just set a password as they allow.
I sent email to support but no body answer me.
Can any body here help me!
Regards

Hi,

SatoshiDice identifies a user by the secret url. So, you need access to the url to get to your account. Options are:

1. Check your History. Hopefully, if you haven't cleared it, you should get it back. Smiley

2. If that doesn't work, email the deposit txid or the deposit address you deposited into, to the support and PM both
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=520402
and
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=116564
with it.

Thanks Smiley

Edit: Info to help you understand how things work.
SatoshiDice works like this: When a player visits the site, a secret url is automatically assigned to the player. This is actually the identifier of the user as well as the password.
For example, I created a new account, say
https://satoshidice.com/?secret=8ae37cd32beb4031f1f720bc6dc8cc50#DoNotShareThisURL
8ae37cd32beb4031f1f720bc6dc8cc50 is the secret.
The password you set is merely a secondary password that protects you from unauthorized withdrawals.
So, you need the url to access it later.

Disclosure: I am not affiliated to SatoshiDice. I have recent/present affiliations with Da Dice. Well, you can guess from the sig. :-)

Thnaks for it!
I didnt get the secret address was funded I had other than I try after to access to satoshidice.
no body from Satoshidice answer me I sent a message with original BTC address where I transfer founds.
I don't know how many can I do!!
Regards

Thanks Smiley
Please take a note of the bolded ones. (just to be sure) (that is, if you can't find it in your history. Also, if you are using Chrome, your history may be synced with your account etc. so try to get it anyway.)

And you have to give the address to where you transferred funds to (not your address), and the txid too. The more direct and informative the better. Smiley

Also be patient, and check back the thread and your PMs once in a while. SatoshiDice usually takes some time but errors like this get fixed quickly once they get online here.

Kind Regards

THE JACKPOT IS CLIMBING BACK!!!!!

After the recent jackpot win on the 28th of July by jansen85 the total has begun it's climb again!

Currently it's risen to 1.16803939 BTC

Will you be the next winner???

Roll a winning 0.00 with bet ID and Timestamps as primes and you could be next!!

Good luck & Keep Rollin!!

is there any information about on how much did he won and how much bets did he make? i was also rolling with a faucet but even after a few thousand bets i did not manage to win it

You can check all the jackpot winners here https://stats.dadice.com/. Click the da Jackpot tab, and you will see all information about the jackpot including the denied jackpot. You also can check check how much the winners bet by clicking the bet ID.
If you were rolling just with the faucet without made any deposit higher than total faucet you've claimed, then you'll never win the jackpot.

or check the jackpot hits tab and click on the bet and then check Archives to view the bet. (which is in stats as above^ though not as detailed.)
https://stats.dadice.com/b/565636073 in this case.

0.28440330 BTC  Shocked since the bet amount was only 15 satoshis.

Edit: Not sure about the notification, since I haven't won the jackpot yet. Grin
But yeah, I think there actually is. Smiley
Either way it is hgihly unlikely that you wouldn't notice it, lol.
2595  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pachinko - Highly Addictive Bitcoin Game | 1.05% house edge | New Promo Board| on: July 31, 2015, 12:40:54 PM
Hi everyone, I see there is a lot of comparison being done between Pachinko and LB. To all our players and everyone else I would like to inform that we do not even see LB as competition as ours is an entirely different game (like you do not compare a dice with poker) and it is not even 50% complete.

There are lots of features/bonuses coming here in couple of months. And not only this there will be many more unique games which will be coming soon. People are free to choose their own gambling websites and stick with those. Our aim is just to provide the players who come to our website with ultimate fun games which they can not find anywhere else.

So please everyone just have some patience and wait for cool features which you will find most interesting here. @sbankerdemon we our-self hate cross advertising so we wont promote it. And even negative comments are welcome on our thread so we can gradually make this website more friendly to our players.

By the time the real game is completed I hope all of you enjoy here by rolling few bets and hunting for bounties.

That is great! Smiley
Glad that you don't promote it.

Good luck with the site. May be you will be #1 soon. Smiley

Votes are supposed to be on speed in this round, did you even read the op?
As for sites missing in the list, they are added once someone votes for them, you're free to mention a site not in the list with positive/negative votes.

LOL, I skipped the big bold part and read everything else. Smiley
Edited.

Let's see if this scam site will pay or not lol

Today is the last day of the competition, if he will fulfill his promise means that the winners will be paid tomorrow. So surprised to see OP was online few hours ago after his last online on July 8th, I thought that he will never come back in this forum LOL. But too bad that he did not even say something in this thread.

Call me too optimistic, but I'd still think he'd pay the prizes. Smiley

That said, OP should have put more effort on it.

Edit:
SatoshiDice, SatoshiSlot, and SatoshiCircle belongs to the same people.

Same issue here:
OP, I can't withdraw my money from SatoshiCircle website! I deposit 1 BTC, played one time, and then nothing happens when I click roll or withdraw, after that I tried to deposit more money, 0.12 BTC, and balance is not updated, but transaction has more than 10 confirmations!
2600  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best dice site(a game) on: July 31, 2015, 10:27:23 AM
+1 to Da Dice for great speed. Grin)

Last time I heard, they are trying hard to increase the bet speed all the more for the in-built bot/ Pilot mode. Wink

Either way, roll speed shouldn't be that important. If I made a site with 1 million rolls per second would you play?
Essentially, it just makes you bust faster (if you see what I mean).

My vote goes to dadice for max 3 bets per sec . +1 to dadice
My negative vote goes to primedice as well. -1 to PD.

How did you even get 3 bets per sec in dadice? you are lucky to even get 1 bet per second there. No matter lite or not the site is taking lot of bandwith and very laggy

-snip-

It simply depends on how far you are from the server, and a lot of other issues. DD is supposed to have 3 rolls per second, but for me it is just 2, and for some others it is slower.

Edit: Got it, speed round. Tongue
Stats seem unreliable.
From the current statistics, PD, Bitdice.me is currently under-rated, and Betterbets is overrated, IMO.
Too many votes dependent on speed of bets, which is not that relevant as trust.
Quote
1) Betterbets.io: 6
2) Coinichiwa: 1
3) Bitdice.me: 1
4)Primedice: -2
5)Crypto-games.net: 2
6) Dadice: 0
7) Pocketdice: 1
And rollin and many other sites are simply missing.[/s]
