Price is very low volume is forgettable what started as a bad start ends up really bad, this is one big example on how not to participate in a bounty that doesn't have a spreadsheet and takes months to finish we all learned from blocklancer really well.
3502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is officially dead on: June 02, 2018, 02:54:31 AM
We have seen ETH going up and down so many time. Now do you think ETH is officially dead, why do you think so?

You are not analyzing the market, if this is a dead coin it will hit zero like what happen to bitconnectcoin where it goes down from $400 to $1 in just a matter of days, but as you can see it goes down but it also goes up sometime it regain 20% price  increased so I doubt it is dead it's far from it.
3503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you guys compare all these crypto exchanges? on: June 02, 2018, 02:45:29 AM
Good question. I would also be interested in finding a similar source with such detailed comparisons.
For example, Google immediately gave a link to this information http://www.coinparator.com/compare-exchanges/

This is a good source I'd like to explore additional exchanges too, but I guess coinmarketcap is still a good source of information about cryptocurrency exchanges they are more complete and they are more popular, so far I'm just into 5 exchanges but it's still goes on the your coin where it is being traded.
3504  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price < $3000 soon on: June 02, 2018, 02:34:10 AM
Bitcoin will drop to $3000 soon, trust me

How can I trust a guy who has a negative trust rating and have no value on his post, what made you think that the price will go down to $3000 level is this backed by common sense or just what to fud Bitcoin so he can buy more?
3505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coin is meaningless on: June 02, 2018, 02:32:15 AM
what do you guys do if you have a lot of coin but the price is very cheap? will you buy that coin again after it hold it until the price goes up? how best do you think?
Thanks.....

Provided that the coin is not a dead coin and the development is ongoing why not, there are thousands of coins right now, some just waiting for the time to get pumped or increased their value, some coins are dead and will not have a chance to be pumped again so b every careful on coins that you are going to buy.
3506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: May 31, 2018, 09:32:09 PM
What happened with old thread? When will be listing to Okex? They still want to list CS or something changed in arrangements?

They should change the old thread from coinmarketcap listing after I checked the price on coinmarketcap, I always click the announcement thread for some latest updates news and always end up with the old one before I got redirected here.
3507  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price manipulation on: May 31, 2018, 09:24:56 PM
I read that they are investigating criminal price manipulations over Bitcoin. Manipulation of prices is really possible ? This happened before ?

It exists since the beginning and it's not only on Bitcoin but also from other coins as well, all coins have their own whales, where they can manipulate the price for profit, they are individuals or sometimes group who pool their money to manipulate coins that they are holding.
3508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies? on: May 30, 2018, 08:18:52 AM
Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?

Every good start on the top 100 before going to the top 50, 20 until they reach the top 10 or 5, just take a clear look on coins that you want to invest in, see if they really have a chance to reach the top 5 in the market in the future.
3509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to ask, whether the price of altcoins at the end of the year getting down on: May 30, 2018, 08:00:21 AM
look at altcoins market price is now very low, all altcoins its price down, I want to ask, whether at the end of the year altcoins prices remain down, or will rise?

Based on the price chart history the last quarter is the best performance for bitcoin so we can hope that this year is the best year for Bitcoin, everybody are hoping that Bitcoin will surpass the $19000 mark and will continue to rise up to $25 k at the start of 2019
3510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Determine Credible Bounty Program on: May 30, 2018, 07:48:52 AM
Bounties programmes no doubts is one of the avenue of reaping tangible coins to your wallet by signing up to do some task with various bounty campaigns, however,  bounties programmes comes up everyday, with promising projects.
With the ways the campaigns are scheduled you cannot possibly participate in all bounties. How can you now select credible bounties among all the bounties that troop in every day,  what are the criteria you look for before joining a bounty.
I will be impress to learnt credible insight on this from the bounty experts.

It's very time consuming and very tricky you have to set up criteria on what is a good bounty program, the team projects is very important, and the people behind it, they should be capable of making their road map realized, they can hire a good bounty manager but if their project is not good it will not become profitable in the long term.
3511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know any ICO failure example?? on: May 26, 2018, 10:52:02 AM
Hi I would like to invest in altcoins. And initially I wanna go with ICO projects. Do you know any ICO failure projects? I want to research a bit on those projects to know the reasons of failure. Please share the info you have. Thanks.

I learned to move on from this failed Ico, there are to many to mentions and you are going to use on it, if you are an ico investors or bounty hunters, if you want the best and legit Ico, check the people who run this ICO, if they are legit and they are capable to implement it and also check their chat channel if they are not banning people for asking legit questions.
3512  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Europe Wants To Know Who You Are? on: May 26, 2018, 10:45:34 AM
Everyone hear the news, seems in Europe the so called powers that be want to put more regulation
for anyone who uses an exchange there to trade etc, they want to know who you are and when you are using the exchange for transactions in crypto.
so much for using the block chain and having a hidden ID in a transaction
must be a tactic to tax everyone in crypto?

anyone else read this? thoughts? its on cointelegraph.

something we dont want but who knows eh

Well, why not post the link so we can read it, you are 1005 right they want to tax bitcoin traders, because there are a lot of money to be made taxing traders, imagine the volume and the million transactions daily, this is huge for this country, if they can implement this.
3513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason why we really need Bitcoin? on: May 22, 2018, 12:24:41 PM
Why do we really need Bitcoin?
I am a secretive and confidential escapee. I hate keeping money in safes with passwords or depositing money in banks that fear bank bankruptcy. I need bitcoin, will no one have control over my bitcoin account, unlike other electronic money systems, you may be locked account, frozen property. With bitcoin you own the private key, with a separate bitcoin address. No one manages and controls accounts outside of you.
And you?

One of the thing that attracts me to Bitcoin is the no third party interference when paying for goods and services I have paypal and solidtrustpay before, but got my accounts limited several times and lost all my money on it these two traditional processor has done this to a lot of people and bitcoin is such a big help.
3514  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: My Nano S not working properly on: May 22, 2018, 12:11:32 PM
I am always asked " To begin please connect your ledger wallet" but is already open

Did you connect your ledger to your PC and have unlocked it with your PIN and have opened the correct application on your nano s device?

If so, windows seems to still not recognize your nano s.
Do you hear a windows-sound when plugging your nano s in/out ? You should hear the 'classical' USB-sound.

Yes have connected my ledger wallet to my pc and unlocked it with my pin, it seems windows not recognizing my ledger wallet, should I reset everything and reinstall the application, this is a new Nano s and I have made a transaction using this wallet, so its ok to reset it.
3515  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: My Nano S not working properly on: May 22, 2018, 11:53:17 AM
I've able to open or do this the first time but after several attempts on the other day, it always failed to load up ... but all the ledger wallet are not opening now this is very strange.

Please be more specific.
What is not opening correctly? Could you please provide more information ? Which step from HCP's guide didn't work for you?
Are you talking about the ledger chrome applications? Or are you talking about the applications on the nano s ?

What cable are you using? You need to use a cable which does have the pins for data transfer (e.g. original ledger cable). Some cables from mobile chargers do NOT have these data pins.

Without a proper description of your problem (where exactly it stops working; what application exactly does not open), we can just guess and repeat anything we already have written.

Thank you for your concern I have merited you all for all the help you have given me and this thread is also a big help for new Nano s user, regarding my concern I am using the cable the manufacturer included in their box, the one that is not opening is the chrome application I am always asked " To begin please connect your ledger wallet" but is already open
3516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: May 21, 2018, 12:27:36 PM
Is there any official date for Pre-release or actual release for credits??So after the full release by June or July the entire product for credits will be available???

Check their telegram you will get a timely answer there, but I'm sure after they release the full product, it will be available immediately they are now testing it for any bugs and they want to come out a perfect product to be competitive in the market.
3517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: █【ANN】【ICO】█ 🌟🌟🌟 BLOCKLANCER 🌟🌟🌟 ██ JOIN GIG ECONOMY BOOM on: May 20, 2018, 02:12:29 PM
Lol blocklancer team is banning anyone with legitimate questions on their telegram.
When this thing does down, remember you gave your money to this kid:
https://imgur.com/a/318HMSZ

Thats probably stolen fake pic.

they after ico if honestly behave themselves, take even the situation on btt, still there is no communication with people as before and as always there are more questions about the project than the answers that they give us.

I'm glad I sold my coin from bounty I just knew this will go down the drain, the campaign was mismanaged, one of the worst bounty campaign in the history and its only a matter of time before this coin is no more, another shitcoin in the making, we lose on this one.
3518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Auctus - Smart Contract Powered Retirement Planning on: May 20, 2018, 02:00:54 PM
...

I don't why people still asking for bounty already people got their payment for the work they did a couple of months ago. Even Acutus team mentioned the procedure how to claim their bounty payments in the easiest way and i think it is the best way to check the spreadsheet.

They haven't done the bounty distribution properly.

People were waiting for their bounty tokens for the last couple of months, and it is not easy for everyone to check that every other week.  Why it is so hard for them to send everyone their bounty tokens rather than asking them to claim it with such a short notice?

They must have sent a private message or an email to bounty participants; and they haven't done any of that afterall.

It looks like they don't care about the people who promoted them. So, why should they care about their investors?

SCAM PROJECT

That's a bold statement but will look at your evidence if you have one, for me, this project looks legit and I'm looking to buy more but I'll wait on what you are going to offer so people will know if this is just a baseless accusations or what you posted is true, so bring it on.
3519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY SHOULD YOU BOYCOTT ICOS THAT DEMAND KYC? on: May 20, 2018, 01:56:30 PM
KYC (Know Your Customer) is an infamous procedure we have mostly run into while dealing with banks.
Sadly for the whole blockchain industry we see many ICOs demanding KYC in vain.
Read below why you should boycott such ICOs:

https://medium.com/@filip.poutintsev/why-you-should-boycott-icos-that-demand-kyc-29a5b43904fb

I know all this risk, that is why I'm not participating in this kind ICO, even if they are profitable, there's a lot of risks involve giving your information that making a profit from this ICO, anyway there are a lot of ico that do not ask any kind of KYC.
3520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Basic Things To Look Out For In An ICO on: May 19, 2018, 10:21:24 PM
Each day, many startups launch their ICOs, but very few of them are legit, therefore creating trust issues among the masses.
As an investors you need to look out for some basic things in an ICO projects before you risk your hard earn money:

1.Check the ICO Website & Whitepaper
The ICO website and the whitepaper of the project, give away all the information about the startup, so never be too lazy to check it. Good startups, try to be as transparent as possible on their ICO website.
2.People behind the project: These people consist of the team members and advisors. Legit projects have a legitimate team of passionate individuals. Don’t be fooled by these good-looking individuals, as the images shown on ICO website may not be the actual team. To make sure they are legit, check their LinkedIn profiles and try to engage them in discussion regarding the project and its ICO.

3. Social Media Engagements
The way any startup presents itself on social media platforms can make or break their overall image. The type of posts they do or the way they handle negative criticism says a lot about how professional their team is. Scam startups will try to cover every negative comment.

So be wise and invest diligently.

I agree to all your points engagement is very important some legit ICO has a huge and hold continuous discussions in their telegram channel, they also post updates in their Announcement thread here in Bitcointalk because this is where the health of the project because it is very visible in the search engine.
