3521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 24, 2022, 09:15:52 PM
You can see the King's return here. PSG's Sergio Ramos gets his first goal for the club and he turns the light to him. It makes me more excited to watch PSG vs Madrid. As a result of letting Ramos handle the team, you will also be more likely to win the Champs League. In 3 games, Ramos equalized Messi's league goal.
PSG returned to Ligue 1 as a dominant force, and that attitude should continue.
Rather than being impressive for Ramos, it looks bad for Messi to be honest. Ever since he joined PSG he has been AWOL and he has been not playing the best he could. Whenever there was a very important match he suited up and played well but that's about it, honestly his played game count alone itself is proof that he just doesn't care. Dude missed like 10+ games in the season so far right? That's proof that he just doesn't care anymore, or at the very least something is wrong with him.

Ramos is not terrible, he had an injury which is understandable and then he just got better and started to play decently, he is good and that's understandable, but the fact that Messi and Ramos scored the same amount of goals tells more about Messi than Ramos.
3522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low, Sell high? on: January 23, 2022, 09:09:26 PM
...Why does everyone think the same? I mean it shouldn't be like this right? I have been long enough to hear "buy low, sell high" a million times so far, and it has always been said when the market is low, but for some reason, people still do not feel hopeful when the price is low...
The fact is that you will be able to buy at a low price only if you sold your coins at a high price before that. But many traders did not sell their coins at a high price and now continue to hold them and simultaneously experience Fomo. And accordingly, they cannot make new purchases, since they do not have the capital for this.
If they do not have capital to get back in, that is their own problem, isn't it? I mean if you put every single thing you own into bitcoin at a single price than it is your own fault. I personally keep some money aside each month, and buy crypto, and even with that I put 10% aside in BUSD.

So, I grow my cash size each month, and I grow my crypto month each month. However, even if you can't do this, even if your salary is too small to keep buying, then you could just put some of your money aside instead of buying all in. People who spend all of their money in a single investment and then cry that they do not have enough money to buy when it drops made a mistake, and that is why it is their problem.

But it's also not good to expect the quality of F1 at F3. F1 has the budget and the best racers compared to F3.
As you said, F3 is somewhat alike Indycar so I think we should watch F3 with the expectation that we'll get to see almost the same-like cars and almost same-skilled drivers.

But one thing is that since the cars are almost the same, drivers get a chance to showcase their raw driving talent and that's something that I enjoy.
I didn't mean like the drivers were worse, obviously they are, that is why they are not in F1, which is understandable. What I meant was, it is not even entertaining to watch it, I just watched 3 races basically and aside from Arthur Lerlerc being there as brother of Charles which made it a bit more easy to root for someone (I literally didn't know any other), it felt a bit bland.

Cars could be worse, teams could be worse, drivers could be worse, but not having any type of dynamic or adrenaline rush is the lacking part. I watch F1 and have fun because it is such a fast paced adrenaline rush, anything could happen at any moment, but here? It just feel like cars going around and finishing without much happening in between.
3524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 22, 2022, 09:09:11 PM
The Milan - Juventus game is going to be really important for both sides. Milan got a very unexpected result against Spezia and they would definitely want to defeat Juventus in this game. But their job is much harder now. Because Juventus' recent form is really great. They haven't been losing in the Serie A for a long time. They are one of the hardest opponents to beat these days. Milan should play aware and maybe they can win by one goal. But it still seems really difficult.
Obviously Milan vs Juventus game will be a tough one, but for us the important parts are watching an entertaining game and also our bets being correct. Obviously not all of us will bet the same and that is why not all of us will win, so the only remaining one would be a fun game. I would rather watch a game where both sides scores a lot of goals, even if one will win, I want to see a game like 4-3 so that I could enjoy the game.

Sometimes these big name games end in 0-0 draw, which happens frequently in Serie A as well, and it becomes a bit of a problem. I mean not a problem, that is the nature of football, sometimes teams draw but let's be honest that is not fun to watch at all.
3525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: January 22, 2022, 06:35:50 PM
F3 Asia has started. There are few f2 racers there getting drivers license points as well. Most of the racers are from regular f3 as well. It is not really super fun to watch but it is also not horrible to watch neither.

It reminded me a bit of indycar to be fair with the cars being so close to each other at all times, it really comes down to the drivers talents when the cars are that close, and we all know that the drivers have a big gap in talent at that level because some of them are there for fun while some of them are at the top of level they could ever reach.

It is really not too entertaining to watch to be fair but at the same time shows you the brilliance of f1 drivers as well.
3526  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do people overestimate BTC? on: January 21, 2022, 08:48:41 PM
t's still early 2022 so it's still too early to talk about this. I think Bitcoin will experience a rise in the middle or the end of the year. No one knows what the market will be like, I'm just arguing here, especially with the price of Bitcoin touching this number, it's very difficult to predict. Even professional traders can't predict the market, crypto is a riddle and we must be able to answer it in order to find what we are aiming for.
how do we answer the riddle?
which I understand while in the crypto market. no one overestimates BTC. Market movements are unpredictable. but we must know, BTC and other crypto assets grow based on the trust of the community. its value grows based on market interest and growth.
what is the initial price of BTC launched and tradable on the exchange? and how much does it cost now? nobody knew this was happening, and I don't think there's an overestimation here.
On top of all that, people can't really "overestimate" it as a general public. We are the ones that decide on the price of it, we literally buy and sell it, when we all think it should be high then we all buy and it goes up, if we think it should worth less then we sell and it goes down in price.

So, basically whatever we decide it should be, becomes the new price and that is what public generally thinks about it. It could be overestimated by "some" people, but not generally, because we decide the price with our own money and that is how we make a profit or lose money. Overestimation of bitcoin could technically never happen when you consider how the market works.
3527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where should I invest money? on: January 21, 2022, 06:34:31 PM
https://app.anchorprotocol.com/earn

That seems too good to to be true

19% APY

I want something like this.

It seems that there is no risk. It's UST. Stable coin.
I would strongly advise against this if you are into it because of the 19% APY. First is that the stability of this token is not really proven. So, I would suggest that you go on Binance and get more stable token with even better APY such that even after bearish seen it will still recover.

You need to think twice about the practical approach when devs make such claims. Even they are returning 19%, its value will definitely not sustain which means even you are bag holding this token, its worth will be around zero hence you will never able to recover your initial money.
3528  Economy / Economics / Re: PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC. on: January 20, 2022, 09:29:12 PM
we know how hard to live while we are in state of pandemic but for financial reasons I think those people who struggle are those people who didn't have savings since most of the people rely that they have money to come and use their money for non sense thing that's why this crisis happening in the world will make people realize that its good to have savings and income generating venues so that they will not get broke once another crisis will hit in the world.
Most of the entire world either do not have enough income to survive, or they do not have enough income to save aside. This is not just "some" people, this is 50%+ , it is majority of the people. I know it is cool to see people like Elon at 300+ billion saying "hey I paid my taxes what else do you want!!" but the reality is that all tesla workers, all amazon workers, everyone is having hard time living.

If those billionaires wanted to see some change then they could pay their workers a decent wage. This is why people didn't have a place to go during pandemic, they were poor and couldn't save before pandemic because they were already having trouble.
3529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is the best crypto provider to give you advice on how to trade in crypto? on: January 20, 2022, 07:29:21 PM
I have tried few such providers from telegram and whatsapp but none of them were efficient. So, I decided to quit trading itself and now I am a holder of bitcoin and now I do need to face frustrating losses in trades due to bad signals.
But, most traders never take decisions like you but they will try to change signal provider from one to another until they do lose all their capital. Honestly you have you made a wise decision to get into long term holding of bitcoin rather than keep struggling with those signal providers for your active trading.

Moreover I never tried any signal provider for my trading because I got into trading only after gaining good knowledge on technical analysis and all the tricks about crypto trading.
3530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade-in between the lines on: January 20, 2022, 06:56:15 PM
It quite clear to all of us that trading is not an easy task and if an individual lack a good trading skills it may bead to loses, this aspect has made many to decide to hold rather than trading to avoid mistakes.
It has been recommended across this forum for all the people who were continuously facing losses, must need to switch over to long term holding to get and enjoy decent profits rather than losing their capital. I am sure at least more than 50% of long term holders are old active traders and might have adapted the long term trading/holding strategy after many frustrating loss.

I have observed that while the crypto currency market is highly volatile so if you can flow with the wave of the market one can still make good profits but again its not a guarantee
Yes, trading does not guarantee you anything but long-term holding definitely will. Even the market is highly volatile, you never need to bother about it if you opt for holding for years.
3531  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin circle with simple words ? on: January 20, 2022, 06:29:30 PM
one year is bull year one year is bear year or something ? and the fourth year is also bearish ?
These are just assumptions based on previous halving events and the subsequent years.

But, the year just after the halving event was mostly dominated by bulls (2013, 2017 and 2021).
After the bull's year, the next year was full of bears dominated (2014, 2018 and not sure about 2022 yet).
The third year after the halving has usually sideways markets (2015 and 2019).
The fourth year is known for recovering up to ATH (2016 and 2020).
Halving do happens in this recovering year but bitcoin market has not reacted to halving immediately as mostly bulls get into action along with a new year.

There will be no guarantee for same types of events to happen on every four years. But, we can expect bulls to dominate for prolong time than how it did in previous cycles due to lesser supply and more hype. It means we may have 2 year long bulls domination on this current cycle.
3532  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has crossed $43k what's next? on: January 20, 2022, 05:48:31 PM
It will stay at that price if nothing will happen, but if there's some kind of bad news, the price will easily dump because it looks like we are in a bear market now. If you have been investing in crypto for awhile, you'll understand that this trend is going to happen, so brace yourself and prepare for the bear season.
Any time there is a bad news the price could go down, but if there is a good news then it could go up as well. We can't make predictions based on great news or bad news, they could happen at anytime and we will never know when and how that will happen.

So when we are investing, or cashing out, these news situations should not dictate what we are doing. Make your moves based on the fundamentals of your investment, bitcoin has been great and even though the price changed, the fundamentals did not change and it is even getting better. Same goes for ETH, considering how 2.0 is on the way, eventually it will have a great improvement. All these results with great future for these coins, and solid fundamentals, as long as that doesn't change, the news mean nothing.
3533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum a monopoly? on: January 19, 2022, 09:34:15 PM
How would competitors "beat" Ethereum if they use the same EVM for smart contracts? It's like saying Microsoft's Edge browser will beat Chrome when it's based on Chrome's underlying engine (Chromium). If this keeps up, I'd imagine ETH keeping its position as the dominant force of Web 3.0 for a long time.

Do you think Ethereum is a monopoly? If not, why? Do you think alternative chains relying on ETH's EVM is a bad idea?
Why would there be a need to beat ETH in order for it to be not a monopoly? I mean McDonalds is probably world's largest hamburger chain, but there are also others like burger king and arbys and tons of other local ones as well, just because Mcdonalds is the biggest one doesn't mean that it is the only one. So that is basically the reason why I believe that we should not be considering ETH monopoly neither.

It is the biggest in its sector, but not a monopoly at all. Other coins who have smart contracts also get attention, look at how BSC is rising, in fact it went up and now not getting attention as much as it used to, it literally had a whole cycle. So, I agree that ETH is the biggest coin with smart contract, but I deny that it is a monopoly, in order to be monopoly you should be the only one and so big that you ruin everyone else who tries to get in, which ETH is not doing.
3534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2022 be the year of ETH 2.0? on: January 19, 2022, 09:08:09 PM
Instead of complaining just do either of two things. Move to another platform to trade,,, and now we have plenty of competitor options according to altcoin people. BSC and Tron and what not. Why not use those to trade? Besides, Defi/DEX use was never for small traders.

OR find a way to use second layer options like Matic/Polygon right?
You could both be complaining about a place but also keep using it anyway. I mean just because ETH could be better and right now too expensive, doesn't mean that I have to accept others being better. I could still think that ETH is better than every other project BUT still worse than it could be. That is the power of ETH, we are talking about something that is both the best but also have a bigger potential than any other project.

I agree with these people as well, ETH 2.0 will make things so much more fun, it will definitely change the whole crypto world. Prices of everything will go up as soon as ETH 2.0 starts and it will keep going up for a while after that as well. Kind of like the bitcoin halving situation.
3535  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: January 19, 2022, 08:34:39 PM
Right with time we gain some experience but it's not like that who is playing from many years will have more chance of winning against someone who has just started playing because gambling is more luck based. But having more exposure is good sign that you have some experience and gained some skills to handle hard situations also.Good to know there are many fellow gamblers who have given much time to this field.
Well, I dont think experience in gambling will maximize our chance to win because most gambling games are more on luck. Unless you prefer the games that skills and strategy has a participation in order to win. Anyway, the edge of the gamblers (who are playing for years) is they were able to control their emotions and can limit themselves. Thats why they're not ending up as addicted.
Experience in gambling allows you to not lose your cool while gambling. I could have many back to back losses and it would not be any different than one win one loss, in fact it would not be different from multiple wins in a row. I do not change my strategy and how I gamble based on the result, I could win 100 times in a row, or lose 100 times in a row and my 101th will be the same as with the others and I will not change anything. This in return results with me having a better result than someone who has less experience. I know that many people think experience doesn't make you win a lot, but it allows you to not lose a lot and that is a very big difference.

Bottas looks so happy at Alfa Romeo. He has been sharing so many great things about them online, and that is really a great feeling because I was so upset whenever he was treated like he was a second fiddler.

I mean yes when you have Hamilton, you always assume that he is going to be the first driver and whoever else races with him as teammates will be second, but we all remember Nico situation and Bottas was never given that chance. Dude literally got asked to stop his fastest lap attempt at one point this year, that is horrible.
3537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 19, 2022, 06:54:29 PM
Chelsea played 23 matches already while Arsenal 20 and Tottenham 18. If both Arsenal and Tottenham win all the games, the standings would be:
1. Manchester City
2. Liverpool
3. Tottenham
4-5. Chelsea/Arsenal

It should be the most concern by Chelsea for now, because they might even out from the top 4 if they keep losing points in their upcoming matches till the end of the season.
I really doubt that would be the case, I am pretty sure that we are not going to see Tottenham and Arsenal winning every single game they play. However, I am pretty sure that they will win some of them and it will result with them getting closer for sure. It is going to be just a few point difference, and we are going to see them within just one game or max two game difference. That is how you make the league more entertaining.

Liverpool is already ahead of Chelsea with literally 2 games behind, shows how great they are, they are also one game behind City, but the point difference is 11 so even if they win that, the difference would become 8 points and that's a lot.
3538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 18, 2022, 09:26:27 PM
Pep Guardiola as smart head coach and he can manage how to be consistent performance not only on one match but also Manchester City as consistent team on every season. Almost three year become the king of Primer League just get once dominance by Liverpool and now City as bigger candidate to get primer league trophy again. Until week 22, City is currently still leading the temporary standings with a difference of 13 points from Liverpool, of course, it could be 8 points if Liverpool manage to win in one remaining match. However, if City are able to perform consistently, they can win successive titles in two seasons.
Pep is a marvelous and amazing manager there is no denying that. Dude has been amazing wherever he goes and he has achieved so much, it is not even a discussion. By the time he retires, he could be the best manager with the most titles that matter, I mean surely there could be some managers that have some many titles and cups but most of them would be useless stuff. Here we are talking about titles that actually matter.

Right now, for me at least, Sir Alex Ferguson is the greatest manager to ever lived, but Pep is not really that behind him so far. However, with this roster we also have to accept the fact that they have spent a good amount of money to build it, so not like Pep is fighting with the roster of other teams, his team spent probably more money than 99% of the world right? So he should not be really given 100% of the achievement, management that spent this much money should be congratulated as well.
3539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2022 be the year of ETH 2.0? on: January 18, 2022, 07:26:54 PM
There are rumors circulating around the web, that the ETH 2.0 upgrade will finalize this year. It would be a major upgrade on the ETH blockchain, after a long period of delays. The competition became much more intense ever since gas fees increased on the ETH blockchain. If the ETH 2.0 upgrade comes into fruition, then ETH's position on the market will solidify like never before. Depending on the impact, competing chains will experience less demand on the market.
I do not think that 2.0 will happen inside this year. However it is never really known, sometimes it barely ever notifies you before it happens. Like I remember that phase 0 period during 2019 December I think? And I didn't know it was about to happen like a month before it happened. So I think if it happens then we will not know about it too far ahead, we will be notified a bit beforehand.

This doesn't mean that 2022 could still happen, but it also means it is not impossible. We have phase 1 that didn't happen just yet, we need to wait for all of that. Let's hope that it happens in 2022 because I am waiting on that as well, but I feel like 2023 is more realistic approach to it.
3540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will cryptos go into Bull season? on: January 17, 2022, 09:48:04 PM
If bitcoin wasn't able to withstand the $40k support the price will reach $38k. We can get to know this within coming week, because today the price seems to drop than fluctuating.

Altcoins have dependence over bitcoin, so without doubt the market trend of bitcoin will be followed. Crypto will move into bull season, but at this moment everyone are with panic. Whether to invest or wait for an opportunity. Maybe if some positive news push the market automatically the trend could change.
Right now, it is standing the 40k support very easily, it is not really that difficult for us to reach somewhere like that. We could reach 50k+ in a month or so, I know people have seen it not do much for the time being but the reality is that we are talking about bitcoin here and it could go up at any time it wants.

I am expecting it to be doing a lot better in the future and the long waiting period we have right now proves that it is very close to doing something good. Can you remember the last time it was a big skyrocketing bull run? It has been a while and bitcoin doesn't stay this low for too long, since it has been a while that means it must be just around the corner.
