3541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 17, 2022, 07:23:09 PM
I thought initially that if they are going to get Simmons, they are going to partner him with Fox in Sacramento. But it seems that they have change their narratives? But I think its a win win for both teams specially if they will include Tobias Harris in the trade. Again, dealing Harris is for long term for the Sixers as they will clear their salary cap enough to get another big names in the future.
I have to say, if there are some teams that willing to eat up Harris contract, that should 100% be Lakers. Tobias Harris is not really a horrible player and he has been playing awesome, give westbrook to sixers and get Harris and Simmons. Plus Simmons uses Klutch agency as well so it shouldn't be that hard to handle. Do Lakers have that kind of space? They do not, so they will have to send someone else as well to get these two.

Simmons wouldn't be helpful and he would be net negative when playing with Lebron for sure, but at the very least, they would be getting rid of Westbrook and getting Harris, then they are stuck with Simmons as an extra, just use him as that. Sixers could get Fox and Sacremento can get Westbrook if it is a three team deal. Or maybe Lakers gets Harris, Sacremento gets Simmons and Sixers gets Westbrook, not a "horrible" trade.
3542  Economy / Economics / Re: Tonga will probably be the next country to make Bitcoin legal tender on: January 16, 2022, 09:53:06 PM
People in this small island use Western Union for remittances, and they have to pay up to 30% in fees. Making Bitcoin legal tender, alongside the Tongan Pa’anga, would immediately help people save a lot in money transfers. MP Lord Fusitu’a will be presenting a Bitcoin bill, similar to the one from El Salvador, to the Parliament of the Kingdom of Tonga by May 2022. We will have to wait and see if it passes.
I would say that it is just a way for poorer nations to leverage themselves against dollar. I mean this is what crypto can do to the USA or the UK or any other big nation. We are talking about nations switching to bitcoin and then big nations will want to deal business so these poorer nations will ask for bitcoin, then bitcoin price will go up, these poorer nations will sell it back to Americans and then use that money to improve and slowly they will get better and better.

The only problem is that even if you give 100 billion dollars today to some corrupt bad small nation, that money will not be fully used for the nation, it will be used to enrich the presidents and their surroundings and their party members, which will trickle down to the citizens a bit, but not all of it. So crypto could save some nations, but it will not save them right away.
3543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 16, 2022, 09:07:20 PM
I honestly feel that Manchester United started the season better than at the moment. It is true that the previous coach was not managing to get the team to play to their full potential. But Ralf Rangnick isn't able to do it either.

If we look closely, the performance of the two coaches has not been very different.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Ralf Rangnick

He wasn't hired to make the team better. I know that is very weird concept to understand but he wasn't, he was just hired to let the time pass for a while with a scapegoat and then they will get someone better during the off-season. You can't just let the team be managerless, and interim coach can't just become the manager for the remainder of the season forever neither. So, they just hired Ralf to handle it until the season is over and then he is going to end up getting fired for bad results and some big name manager will be hired for sure.

I still think that Pochettino deal could happen, especially if he fails to win UCL with PSG this year, that will be easier because there is a bigger chance he could be fired. If he is fired, then United will take him and that is when we are going to see United playing with full potential. Aside from Ronaldo, most players are not that old, so they could do well for a while longer.
3544  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Forecast by Goldman Sachs on: January 16, 2022, 01:03:32 PM
Goldman Sachs predicts that Bitcoin could reach $100k in 2022 if it continues to overtake gold’s market share. If you haven't invested in Bitcoin already, it could be the best time to get on board with Goldman Sachs' forecast.
I do not think that money in this world which are intended to take bitcoin to $100k levels are already locked in gold and only with the help of the same funds, we can take bitcoin to $100k levels. I mean even gold's market share will keep growing, I believe bitcoin will hit $100k levels as bitcoin got its own set of investors and traders due to its fundamental potential.

Yeah, no need to bother about where gold is going to head up; only due to pandemic consequences we got lots of hiccups in 2021 but currently the new stain is not seeming like a threat to lives hence governments may not put lockdown restrictions and this way, world may come out of covid situations completely and bitcoin may get back to its usual market scenarios.
3545  Economy / Speculation / Re: Supercycle or Halving cycle still? on: January 15, 2022, 09:20:58 PM
I believe that’s true, but doesn’t the halvings reduce currency issuance, ans therefore also reduce selling pressure from the issuers, in Bitcoin, the miners?
The change is tiny. 500,000 bitcoins are traded on exchanges each day and the last halving resulted in only 900 fewer bitcoins.

Once bitcoins enter the supply, they remain in the supply. The constant increase causes a downward pressure on the price as the supply curve slides to the right. The halving only reduces that downward pressure on price and it can't explain a 10x increase in price.
Unfortunately it is not really that small. The difference between the traded ones and the mined ones is that when you trade there is a buyer and there is a seller, when you buy it is created out of nothing and you just sell it. So while all those thousands of bitcoins traded looks much bigger, this 900 bitcoins were created out of nothing and nearly 40 million dollars worth of bitcoin is sold every single day.

I do not mean that miners sell all they mine, sometimes they store it, but it is still coming out of zero input to the market, sure they spend energy and pollute and all that but that doesn't matter to the market. Which is why we start with negative 40 million dollars each year, and that is a very important aspect of miners creating new bitcoins.
3546  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do people overestimate BTC? on: January 15, 2022, 07:26:51 PM
100k per BTC will change everything, imagine what ETH price would be if BTC gets to 100k yea that's what everyone wants and this will have a huge impact on all altcoins as well, last year no one believes that BTC can reach 60k and it happened, 100k per BTC will still happen at one point in time maybe in year 2025 or so
That's what crypto is like and we don't know what will happen in the future with Bitcoin,
every year Bitcoin has increased and it is not impossible that it will happen,
just keep following the developments and that's all we can do
You just have to have faith. If you do not have faith towards bitcoin then you are not going to profit from it. In order to get richer, you need to accept the fact that A) It will take some time and B) It will be via crypto trust. If you have no trust on it then you are not investing into the right thing.

I would understand having no trust on doge or shiba because I do not trust them neither and some people do not and yet still invest because they may go up very high, but if you are investing into btc or eth then you need to see how much you can benefit from that. No other asset could give you the types of profit that crypto could give you, even bitcoin which is at the top. I hope that more and more people trust it, and adoption goes through the roof, that way we will be able to not only profit from having bitcoin but also be able to pay it.
3547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to buy and hold on: January 15, 2022, 06:40:41 PM
I'm agree that will be very hard to become a true holder if we always check our asset's price progression, if we already made profits more than 100% less than a year, it's already super big return in any kind of investment exist, so if we think with logic, we should sell it right at the moment we gained the x2 profits.
But for the people who has the dreams to be rich and don't want miss a chance of being rich, they must be hold it in case of hoping the coins will gain even more.
100% could even be a bit low thinking how bitcoin could do better than that. So, we are talking about by far the best investment aside from a few years, 2018 wasn't but that's about it. When you are making that much money with something, to wonder if you should hold more is a weird thing that I do not really understand very well.

People see this as a scam I believe, there are still some people who think that bitcoin and crypto are scams and they want to make money and get out as quickly as possible. That is not something that I really want to see, it is not really ideal and I would rather have something that is a lot better in the long run, realize that it's legit and it could make a decent money for you if you hold it long enough.
3548  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has crossed $43k what's next? on: January 14, 2022, 06:00:04 PM
What is next? Just hold and wait. Or trade if you know how to do it to increase your deposit. Sell if you are in urgent need of money. There is no right or wrong decision. Every decision has its pros, cons and consequences. The fact that Bitcoin has crossed $43k does not mean anything, as we have seen it touching $50k and $40k during one month. Did Kazakhstan has their internet back? Did they turn on their mining back? Expect a slight growth soon, but nothing extra ordinary.
Your opinion might be more appropriate if you have stated these in 2021 when bitcoin was in full-swing bullish mode. Now, people are finger crossed about the direction of bitcoin market and they just need some idea about the short term trend which is the reason people are too curious about continuation of the recent recovery after testing low around $40k levels.

I agree we can buy or sell now or anytime if we needed to do so. Yeah, we need to believe into bitcoin and we need to keep most of our saving in bitcoin like if we need money then there will be no point of hesitating to sell bitcoin and must have to buy bitcoins regularly regardless of where bitcoin is trading. This way we can beat the inflation and can secure our future financially.
3549  Economy / Speculation / Re: Always have an exit strategy on: January 13, 2022, 08:29:28 PM
A lot of veterans I talked to back in January/ February had exit plans that were going into action late summer and early to mid fall at the latest. That was a majority of veterans.  I think bitcoins dropping to its new bottom slowly but surely. But it won’t go past ath for a while. It has been nearly a year and 6 months. Historically it probably means the btc 2021 bull run is over.
Even I am not holding big amount of bitcoins, honestly I am not having any exit strategy. Moreover even I am having some plan/strategy for the time around ATH, I was unable to execute it because of uncertainty of market conditions. By 2017 end, I was assuming like that we were going to have continuous bull run along with small corrections and by 2021 end, I am expecting the ATH to happen by mid of 2022 which means that not sure about that I got trapped one more time by beauty of market or not.

Still, I am happy with my long term holding; I tried to multiply my bitcoins by selling around ATH and buying back at bottoms but not being good in technical analysis is making me not to act as per my plans.
3550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: January 13, 2022, 06:21:47 PM
That's kind of the problem though, it shows the dominance of the car when he got his championships. You could say the same with MSC and Hamilton, except they both won championships in another car. And were very competitive even with lesser cars. Vettel, less so.
Hamilton has literally just 1 championship with not a dominating car and that was a season I will give you that he was decent. Not that he dominated, he was just 1 point ahead of Massa who had 1 more retired as well as some issues, to be fair everyone had more retired and issued cars compared to Hamilton that season even if we can't say he was the fastest car, if his teammate didn't get 3 retired races and some issues, I am pretty sure Kova would be closer as well.

Schumi was a great, I am not arguing against that, but Hamilton certainly is closer to Vettel in my mind. If we are saying vettel only won thanks to dominating car, then we can say Hamilton has only 1 championship with mclaren and all others are worthless, is that okay to say? I would say Schumi is great, Hamilton is great, and Vettel is great, we do not have to bring someone down to say other one is great.
3551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Crypto Altcoin Projects likely to make you a millionaire on: January 13, 2022, 03:41:05 PM
If you enjoyed this article and I enlightened you on some things then I’m just glad I could point you in a good direction of long term projects to just invest into and enjoy the blooming of the flowers when the sun rises.
Okay, but you are forgetting to include the link for the article so that we could refer for more information.
We must need this information from credible platform or from a known author otherwise there will be no point of getting such huge list of new projects from a stranger.

There are thousands of interesting ideas are available everywhere and just linking an idea with a name and then incorporating blockchain Technology into a project may not get you anything because we have seen many such promises  are finally ending up nothing.

There will be no point of getting into a new project just because of studying their whitepaper. There are lots of problems are existing in this world for years but people who are working hard to solve that problems as promised is very less. I am sure these projects may make you millionaire and the possibilities for that is only 0.01%.
3552  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: January 13, 2022, 11:39:14 AM
Hey, I am wondering is it truly possible that my BTC works for me , without revealing my private keys and also without KYC ?
I have read and heard about similar things but they seem more like a Ponzi scheme.
Does anybody have any experience with a non-custodia platform/wallet /swap which does not require KYC but supports BTC ?
I have to say the passive income methods is possible in most other coins but BTC is not really one of them. The biggest one I know and the most trustworthy one is freebitco.in and they have a 4% yearly return stuff. If you buy a bunch of fun token which is quite cheap these days, you could get that 4% to become like 5% yearly. That may sound very little, but the reality is that we are talking about something like bitcoin which already goes up itself and you are earning a passive income from it from one of the most trustworthy places in the world.

If you could live with 1k dollars a month, that is 12k per year, and 20x that (for 5% return) is 240k dollars, that is like 6 bitcoins. I know not that many people have that kind of return, but we are talking about literally living off from the free return and not even touching your bitcoins in this scenario. If you could keep working and reinvest your earnings, you do not even have to have that much and grow it.
3553  Economy / Economics / Re: Euro zone inflation hit a new record high of 5% in December on: January 12, 2022, 09:53:45 PM
Time to buy more bitcoin!
I guess you're right. I have bought already mine when bitcoin dipped at 40k and so far, I do love the growth that my bitcoin has taken when the market price has gone back up again, don't plan to sell mine anytime soon, just accumulate more so I can enjoy bigger profits when bitcoin starts going up towards the moon again.
At the end of the day if you buy when it is going down, the worst case is that it could go even lower but you will wait and make a profit when it goes up, the best case it goes up right away. I do not see any problems with any sides and it is a win-win situation. Buy low and sell high, we should always remember that.

You already bought bitcoin and you have made a great decision with it, that is why there is absolutely no need for any of us to do anything extra, it is just a superbly interesting thing to watch some people who "get it" as in understand the market, whereas some do not know how it works. It is shocking to still see people who see price going down and selling and getting out, it is not really reasonable to expect something like that if you ask me.
3554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 12, 2022, 08:13:01 PM
Considering the current conditions of the teams in the league, Inter and Milan are quite ahead of the others in terms of not only points but also performances. We can understand this from their recent results I mean. Inter are already doing wonderful by having a winning streak of eight games. And Milan won their last three league games. There is only a one-point difference between them for now. Maybe I said it before but I want to see Milan as the champs so much at the end of this season. It is going to be very difficult against this Inter but not impossible.
Previously, the Italian national team coach had also said that there were 3 teams that deserved to be named as candidates for this year's champions, the three teams were Inter Milan, AC Milan and Napoli. In the title race this year, in the 20th week Inter Milan collected 49 points, followed by AC Milan with 48 points, who have played 21 games, and in third place is Napoli with 43 points, but I am still optimistic this year AC. Milan will come out as champions.
I doubt that Milan could be champions this season. I understand the hope for it, because they are not "that" far away but Inter is missing a game and the difference is 4 and we have Inter beating everyone they face for the past while. I feel like if the momentum keeps going like this, Inter will win the league with 10+ points or so.

I get that Milan could win, I mean if we think about how that could happen, we are talking about Inter losing a few games and Milan going on a winning streak and all of that is quite possible and there is nothing wrong with that. However I feel like Milan is not there at the moment, they could get there and prove me wrong there is no doubt about that, but it is just not there "yet".
3555  Economy / Speculation / Re: New year new speculation on: January 12, 2022, 07:08:33 PM
If so then you need to check the popular Altcoin in the top 10 coinsarketcap, at this time the market conditions are indeed not good, that means buying some coins is the right step, but my union coin that has good value and movement is only in the top 10 coinmarketcap, Although market conditions are currently under correction, while strategies are a matter needed to invest, so this is a basic consideration in starting an investment.
Speaking of strategies is inseparable from the pattern we make, the better the strategies we prepare, it is increasingly easy to work, currently the correction phase is continuing, thus imposing people to be patient in investment, buying some existing coins must go through mature consideration, remember Conditions like this all coins are still in the correction phase, but long-term talk, then the top 10 coinmarketcap coins are worth buying for now and long-term.
Sometimes sticking to a strategy and not moving away from it even though we see a potential or a possibility rising somewhere would be a wrong move. Have a strategy but also try to be more flexible as well. This is how I made money and I lost money in both possible ways. I have lost money with my strategy but earned more as well, I have made money going out of my strategy and lost as well.

Just have a strict "research what you buy into stuff" and that would be enough, as long as you are not scammed on an investment then bad investments will always happen and that's not a problem. However if you end up making a profit then you should follow your gut time to time.
3556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Greed Comes First in Trading, the Result is Bankruptcy on: January 12, 2022, 02:21:31 PM
Getting liquidated and then losing all your capital are frequent events for all emotionally unstable traders. In my opinion, such traders are not fit for live trading at first hand as they are still lagging in practice hence they must switch over to demo trading to gain control on emotions and must get practice to risk management procedures. Otherwise, they might need to face multiple bankruptcy situations.
Yeah, there are misconception about the 100% loss in trading like it is happening only in derivative markets but practically even in spot trading, it might happen. So, getting liquidated might be associated only with derivative markets and in spot markets, you buy a coin for example and then you move them into your local wallet or keep with exchange and you hold for some time and in between time, if that exchange decides to delist that coin means then you cannot get profits anyhow but probabaly you may recover around 1% of your capital. This had happened to me with docotoken (MTC token, promoted by McAffe).

I bought without any technical analysis but after getting know about its fundamental things and when Stex exchange delisted it, I was literally bankrupted. I did not book profits when I was into profits and I expected more profits due to McAfee's involvement to this; this way, my greediness made me to pay the fees Sad.
3557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make $ 1,000,000 out of $ 30,000? on: January 12, 2022, 12:14:24 PM
Is it realistic to turn $ 30,000 into 1 million or is it just a fairy tale ? What would you do for this? How not to lose everything?
I never recommenced anyone to be a trader with pre-determined target like recovering previous losses or making some $1000 every day or weekly. Because, when you trade for a target then you will be dominated by your emotions rather than been going by technical analysis.

The simplest way to make $30k to one million is keep investing into bitcoin at regular interval and I guess you can make 10x returns for every four years hence you need at least 8 years of time from now. I guess you may buy for $5k every month for next 6 months and then also arrange new funds to keep buying for $5k every month till December of this year and if you are able to manage to arrange $100k within this year then by 2025 you will get $1m dollar.

Now I have recovered a little mentally and financially and I want to enter the world of cryptocurrencies, taking into account past mistakes.
Never sell your bitcoins for losses. If you wait then you will definitely get profits. So, at least this time do not panic if market goes down; if market goes down then buy rather than selling.
3558  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is for everyone but not everyone will be for Bitcoin on: January 12, 2022, 06:21:25 AM
Many have been capacitated with knowledge and understands what the game is all about, but they have been stopped by a financial barrier that prevents them from reaching the other end of financial freedom.
If you are referring the high value of bitcoin as a barrier or challenge here, then that must be a misconception because you can start investing bitcoins as little as $5 or even smaller than that. Moreover, this is not a problem for crypto investments but for all kind of investment opportunities. For example, I cannot buy a house in my city but able to do only in nearby small town.

A Person who is still trying and struggling to feed his family, regardless of the headline of  the moon and lambos they see displayed with other sweet testimonies, they can't just be pulled their self from that shell and to invest in bitcoin becomes a challenge.
Anyone could invest 10% of their total investment capital into 10 different investment types, right? So, how much you are going to invest into bitcoin is up to you. For example, if you are investing some 20% of your salary for your retirements then from that invest some portion into bitcoin; if that 20% is into 10 different category of investments means 2% of your salary into bitcoin which is good enough IMO.
3559  Economy / Economics / Re: Ubisoft Becomes First Major Gaming Company to Launch In-Game NFTs on: January 11, 2022, 09:58:42 PM
There was an announcement about the purchase of Take-Two Interactive publisher of mobile games Zynga for $12.7 billion, it is expected that the deal will be closed by June 30 this year, so it seems that the publisher of games such as GTA, Red Dead Redemption, Borderlands, etc. is on the path of introducing blockchain technologies into its games, as not long before that Zynga announced the beginning of work on the implementation of NFT in its future projects https://investor.zynga.com/news-releases/news-release-details/zynga-and-forte-announce-strategic-partnership-drive-rapid
Take Two already owns the greatest basketball game out there, which is a cash cow that makes them hundreds of millions of dollars every single year, they also own Rockstar which is the company that creates Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead redemption, so it is quite amazing when you think about the fact that we are talking about making insane money right? Well when you think like that, they are acquiring Zynga for a 12-13 billion dollar valuation whereas their own company is literally just 16 billion dollars.

With this deal being official, they will have a bigger one but you assume they would worth a lot more and somehow they do not. I mean which games are more popular, stuff like 2K every year, GTA, Red Dead, or whatever Zynga is doing? This is the proof that Taketwo is doing a great job by buying a mobile game company because that will make them so much more money. NFT in mobile games would also be a great idea as well.
3560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still makes you rich or end of trend? on: January 11, 2022, 09:35:33 PM
I think investing in meme coin is very high risk. I've seen a lot of people lose their big assets because they want to get rich quick here. So some of them stopped playing cryptocurrency and considered this gambling. In fact, all trades do not have to be with the ambition of getting rich quick, I know investing in meme trends is very risky but I believe if we can manage money well we can take profits.
I would understand it if it was a small amount and if people just didn't care, but we are talking about investing into something knowing that it is a very high risk shitcoin that you could profit only if others are doing the exact same thing as you.

Nobody should believe that they have a potential or a good future, if you are only investing because you want to get rich quick and take that big risk then you are doing something wrong with your money and you know it. Doesn't matter if you ended up making a profit or not, as long as you know that it has no future and no potential and only thing you cared about is making a profit right now, then you did something very wrong.
