You can apply this very same logic to signatures. I think Avatar campaign is considerably more intrusive than a signature. Though probably in the initial stage, it will be okay, but I don't think it will be the case in a few months. I would personally will not have a good opinion about the advertised site, if too many of the members here were the same logo and I see it too often. I will simply end up blocking it. Whatever be the case, for me, it is linked to the identity of the person more. I won't be participating in any avatar campaign in the future, unless the pay is some 0.001 per post.  The lower the competition, the lower the rate, the cleaner the forum, the better the community. I think it will be annoying. Just my opinion though.  |

Well, as long as the Avatar campaign rate is considerably lower than the signature space, considering that the image is not clickable, I would say it is not a very good idea to advertise even there. Yes, participants are free to choose whether they want it or not. In that case, we have already purchased their space (consider the rates inclusive  ), but are offering it to upload any image they like as long as it does not conflict with the signature the participants are wearing. I would like a cleaner forum (20*3+1 = 61 ads per page  ), and I will simply block if I see more than say 5 people wearing the same avatar in the same thread. If Avatar is advertised, and becomes too intrusive, signatures will lose their importance and sig campaigns won't be effcient anymore. As long as there is not much competition, I will expect the rates to be lower enough not to compete with signature rates. Just my opinion.  Billboards and TV adverts aren't clickable but they're still very effective. You can also use the Personal Text and weblink which are directly below the avatar. And why would signature campaigns lose their importance? They'll exist and run together most likely. New rule coming up: Wearing a competing Avatar may not be allowed. What is and what is not allowed will be dealt on a case-by-case basis. It is not allowed especially when it contains the name of the competing site. I honestly don't think it is good for the campaign for someone to wear a say PD logo on the Avatar, BitDice.me on the personal message and DaDice on the signature. That will be pretty weird.. Personal meesage is okay atm, since it not as intrusive as the avatar campaign. Personal avatars are encouraged. Besides, avatar is more a personal thing than something to advertise for. I suggest against participating in a campaign that gives something like 0.005 BTC a week, in which you may be making some 50 posts or so. +1 on this. I don't think selling avatars is a good use of your resources as your avatar is one of the last places you can really express yourself on the forum if you are selling your signature. Plus having a unique avatar means that you will have overall more respect throughout the community which will give more value to our signature space But on the other had an avatar is prime real estate for advertisers and people are free to choose whether they want to sell it or not. It arguably may even get more exposure than a signature as it's in a prominent place and can serve as a little billboard so I just think it's another valuable space to rent. Just thought I'd mention that you would have better luck if you approached them directly instead of just posting here expecting someone to pop up and consider you trustworthy enough to run a campaign.
As long as you don't drag someone who doesn't want to start a campaign to it, that is a good idea. |

I wish to propose another thing , the loyalty bonus, it will be good to have a loyalty bonus to award those who stay up for atleast 4 weeks periods .
The reason for this is to provide some bonus for those who didnt get the quality poster bonus and to encourage people to stay in the campaign, because if someone made 100+ posts previous week and change to another campaign after that, the previous posts will be useless as the signature from the previous post will change, with this bonus, it is to encourage participants to stay for a month, and dadice will get an advertising from that user's signature for the whole month before the participants decided to jump into another campaign ship

The only question is after what time does this bonus would be available: would it be 3, 4, 5 weeks of constant membership? And do we need additional conditions beside time spent on posting for Dadice? And of cours how big would be that bonus, similar to top poster's bonus or maybe progressive and it would be increasing with each week? Well, I see both are hijacking the threads of each other. That is a very unprofessional both of you. Also, images you find in Google Images include copyrighted, licensed, etc. You can refine the search pattern or so. In your case, it may or may not be copyrighted. idk |

For me, it's called as a Power of Campaign Manager  But it also depend on profesionalism as the campaign manager I would say it depends on the terms between the campaign manager and the management of the advertised site. For example, I don't pay myself for carrying the signature, because my pay covers it too. So, does the co-manager. On the other hand, certain other campaign managers pay themselves, but as you pointed out, that is allowed unless they agreed to the contrary. Thanks |

Maybe it's both? It can't be both, since the payment for the signature campaign is 0.1 BTC. There may have been some part payment as a special case, but then this hasn't been mentioned. From February's payment, I presume that the fee for managing the campaign isn't 0.1 BTC. Why would you assume it isn't? 0.1 seems to be pretty common for running a sig campaign. Since you are evaluating your own posts and paying yourself, there is a possibility of abuse. That is where I feel there is a conflict of interest. The payment of 0.1 BTC is more likely to be for carrying the signature only. It isn't really a conflict of interest. You are discussing the terms between Neotox and Bitstarz lol. Let them be. Some question about cross advertising, is it allow in this forum or is that any specific rules about this?

It shouldn't be allowed. It simply hurts healthy competition. For instance, I cannot find a single post in the thread I am managing of say Carra23 or Stingleword or Neotox or most of the campaign managers. We naturally respect each other and others will respect them too. Posts that help each other out should be allowed though, since there are quite a good number of campaign managers who help other even competing campaigns too. Though it may not be possible to place a strict rule against all such, they should be discouraged. We should be able to distinguish from what is good and what is clearly unprofessional. |
