3582  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitamp Bitcoin Web Wallet - Send & Receive Bitcoin Instantly! on: October 30, 2020, 07:35:39 AM
Bitcoin has hit its highest mempool level since 2017. Stay safe guys, remember to set higher fees if the transaction is urgent, otherwise sit tight and wait for the next difficulty adjustment. These cycles are normal so don't worry!
Don't forget to use Segwit address for transaction because transaction size will be reduced and transaction fee will be cheaper for smaller size of transaction. Difficulty adjustment and price movement of bitcoin will help to reduce size of mempool or make it larger. If bitcoin skyrockets to $20000 mempool will become bigger no matter how difficulty adjustment is made.

It will be a best scenario if after next difficulty adjustment, bitcoin will be stable in price. Mempool will drop back to its normal size.

They do not want to waste their time learning about cryptocurrency and directly jumps into bounty hunting.
It is how they waste their time. Learning about crypto currency, bitcoin, blockchain or read forum rules are better than hunting bounties. They waste lots of their time while they think they don't.

As for the last journey, every one wishes to be a good member, but it's not that easy.
Not all. Scammers want to scam people and they don't want to learn or want to be good members.

I'm a newbie but I'm here since January. I don't do replies nor topics since I'm still lacking of knowledge about bitcoin and crypto currencies. When I read this topic I asked my self for what will I become? A scammer? A bounty hunter and a spammer? Maybe? Or a Good member? I don't know yet the correct answer for my question but I'm hoping to become a good member to lessened those spammers or scammers. Thanks for this topic it really help my vision here on this forum.
Good member, yes you can by:
- Reporting spammers (their spam posts will be deleted or their accounts can be banned or nuked)
- Hunting scammers, scam projects and make reports in Scam accusations child board.
- Contribute what you can from your knowledge and experience.

If you do one of three aforementioned, you won't have enough free time to look for bounties or join them.

Thanks for making this list and is great to be part of it. It would be nice if you can add the website 'lucky.lat' on the first column. I take a look at the verifier done by efialtis and is great work...

My idea is to add more casinos on Lucky.lat but i need some free time for it. So, I'm not sure when it will happen.
This year, there are many good new services or provably fair verifiers from community members, BTCGOSU (efialtis team with webtricks participation), Lucky.lat (seoincorporation) and a odds collective site (betodds.ai) and AmoreJaz brings fee comparisons to us.

Thanks for taking the time to put this list together. I'd really be interested in checking out some of these sites but it's hard to trust that you'll get your money back after depositing. I'm sure lots of them are legit but it always concerns me that they will find a way to withhold payment, ask for identity documents that they might not secure properly or make you jump through other impossible hoops to get the money out. If only there was a reliable review site with feedback from real users of these sites.
Legit or not you have to know it is bet or gamble and you should responsibly gamble. You are responsible for your money, your life and if you already have a family and children you have to care of them too. I see many drama from losers that open stupid scam accusations on casinos to cry and try to get sympathy and money from casinos for their lost bets.

Deposits: as I know if you don't join deposit bonus, you are not required to do wagers and you can withdraw your deposit money. If you try to use casinos to launder your money from darknets, your money can get troubles, nevertheless.

There were times I visit BTCGosu to check comparisons of different top sites. Its nice you have listed other sites to check with and see whether they are also reliable and updated in making review, players should also try those sites often to check their services and quality of games which are not done by many players nowadays due to minimum deposit fees or high transaction fees thanks to the authors who put efforts in testing them all. It will be good if there are review sites which also fair and true in their ratings especially for newbie gamblers.
Those threads and services are great for all gamblers not only for newbies.

3587  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Why is Bitcoin “mooning” again in 2020? 🚀 on: October 29, 2020, 12:15:55 PM

This time next year the price will be over $50,000!

That's a bold prediction, LFC_Bitcoin Cheesy But you never know. Anybody else thinks it will skyrocket so much?

Cheers,
Karl
Bitcasino.io
Me. It is what I dream of for every night. TBH I don't know when Bitcoin will reach that price. I therefore don't have plan when I will exit but Bitcoin will rock to $1million, I believe in Bitcoin. It might be on 2025 or 2029, I can wait for 10 more years.

3588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Most DEXs are unsafe, alleges new report on: October 29, 2020, 06:38:48 AM
Decentralized exchanges are not developed and adopted enough. There are problems with decentralization of DEX. In fact, most of them are centralized exchanges, not decentralized exchanges. I used the scam exchange, Crypto Bridge and when they shut down you can not withdraw your money. Before their scam exit, they said they are decentralized exchange.  Sad

I only use old exchanges that have good reputation records, good volume, and if they have hacks in the past, how they reacted and compensated for their users. Young exchanges are always risky to use. You can use them but with very small capital on new exchanges. The interesting thing from new exchanges is there are many fantasy tokens, coins are listed. Many people love fantasy coins or tokens on new exchanges. They take double risks: risk with young exchange, risk with fantasy coins, tokens.

Learn more what causes mooning in our blog article: Bitcoin mooning: Why is the price going up?
The pandemic, the bank bailouts (printing huge new money supplies from the air), lockdowns, halving, institutional investment growth (Bitcoin Treasuries) and the idea of history repetition.

What do you think the Bitcoin price will be by the end of the year?
Somewhere from $14000 to $19000. It can be at any price from this area.
3592  Other / Meta / Re: Merit source isn't giving merit to local board because he thought it's bias. on: October 28, 2020, 12:35:24 PM
I'm from Pilipinas board too but I agree on cabalism that most of the user that posting good content are always the same. I recently started to create a Guide thread because I'm sick to see that most post on our section is just a recycle general discussion of old topic.
If it is like what you talked, those topics can be seen as low quality.
- Don't search before make a new topic on same problem in old topic. It is worse if old topic is still actively discussed and worse more if new topic has less contents, lower quality than old topics.
- Recycle or repeat general old discussion is boring

Generally good posts are creative and constructive or don't repeat other guides or opinion.

What really got me is that he is our only merit source yet it confuses me that the fact that he sees worthy post in our local board yet he refuses to merits those even if they deserves it, why?
He applied to be only merit source in your local board. Is it good or bad or harmful? Local members owe him a kindly thanks for his contributions (from his posts, topics) and from his activities as a merit source.

I feel bad when people ask
- "Why my local board does not have merit sources even only one source?"
- If they have one merit source, they will ask more sauces.
- They don't feel agree with works are done by sources in their local boards.
3593  Other / Meta / Re: Merit source isn't giving merit to local board because he thought it's bias. on: October 28, 2020, 07:27:04 AM
I would merit you if I only have some for bringing this to our attention.
Thank you but I don't send you one to receive one back. Please read the post of theymos and understand its message correctly.

I doubt on what you discussed in your local and I looked at your post history. Your first post is in August (the account was created in July) and it was in Meta about Trust and TECSHARE.

As a newbie, it is best if newbie digs to learn knowledge (you must spend months or years here to learn all knowledge) and worst to dig about merit, trust. My 2 cents.

This is obviously an alt that doesn't care about reputation and criticism but does my account matter when it comes to what I am saying right now?
It does not matter.

I agree with this approach. I considered giving merit proportional to activity, but I decided not to because doing so would probably give far more undeserved merit than deserved merit in total. But undoubtedly some people got screwed by this, and if they have decent posts, by all means, give them the 250 or 500 merit that they need to rank-up.

I also agree with the idea of (free) "reviewer" topics in general, for finding high-quality posts that went unnoticed. Barcode_ created one in the Chinese section, as well.
That post answers your question and if you need more you can see another one. You can understand that rule for the merit source as merit sources have their rights to decide posts to receive merit and how many.
- If merit sources send merit like an sold merit, community will detect it.
- If merit sources hoard their merit, they don't do anything wrong.

After like 100 confirmations and my balance still zero, I started to get anxious. I sent an email to support, and the issue was solved relatively quick.
Yeah it is what I guessed. Technical problem with account balance credit.

Transactions need to have confirmation (at least 1) to become a real transactions, not waiting ones. In order to avoid replay attacks on networks, companies require a minimum confirmation for deposits to be credited to account balance. The min is different by networks.

Sometimes, transactions already confirmed (with many confirmations like yours) but companies failed to credit them to account balance with their automatic operations. I believe they resolved your case manually and credit your deposit to your account balance manually too.
3595  Other / Meta / Re: Merit source isn't giving merit to local board because he thought it's bias. on: October 28, 2020, 06:50:19 AM
- Merit source is a free task and not an official job on the forum.
- theymos does not force sources to distribute all monthly smerit they are given.
- Meriting a post is subjective and you won't get a consensus on why this post is merited and why that post is not. Why this post is received 10 merit or why that post received only 1 merit.
- Merit sources can hoard their sendable merit if they don't find good posts or sometimes they are busy and can not spend time to find good posts.
- Good posts will get merit from sources and from members in your local.

If you are good posters you can rank up, from merit in local board and international board. Your topic shows that your English is not bad (and in your nation, English is a big and common language)
If you are from Philippines, you can make posts in good English. If you are not from Philippines, why do you dig into this local board?

I agree with this approach. I considered giving merit proportional to activity, but I decided not to because doing so would probably give far more undeserved merit than deserved merit in total. But undoubtedly some people got screwed by this, and if they have decent posts, by all means, give them the 250 or 500 merit that they need to rank-up.

I also agree with the idea of (free) "reviewer" topics in general, for finding high-quality posts that went unnoticed. Barcode_ created one in the Chinese section, as well.
This post of theymos can be understood differently.

- Good sources will dump 10 to 50 merit (maximum 50 merit each month) to a good poster to help the ranking up process. They can dump 50 merit to 50 posts or to 1 post. The latter one can cause debate or suspicious thoughts but if receivers are good posters they deserve that dump.
- The bad use is when sources or members dump many merit to a low quality users. They try to take the post of theymos that they are doing the right thing. No one agrees with them.

Merit source unapplication - Vlad2Vlad
3596  Other / Off-topic / Re: The benefit of creating a good topic on: October 28, 2020, 06:21:23 AM
If we create a good topic, we are actually helping the forum earn more money through ads space. The more engaging it is, the more pages are created which also means another ad space. I don't know if each page is sold separately but I bet it's still beneficial even if it's not as advertisers would be more than happy to have their product be seen in multiple pages.
Unofficial rule is only creating post or topic if you have real idea (should be good, creative, constructive) to contribute in available discussions (if you make posts) or to contribute to the forum community (if you make topics). Search before making posts or topics.

Relating to topic creation and money (financial) benefit for the forum: the forum does not need it.
- The forum has more reasons to reject low quality topics or repeated topics (if you don't search before making yours).
- The forum does not need to see new attacks of low quality posts or topics as it received in 2017 or 2018.
- It is more harmful than beneficial (in quality or in financial).

It is true that if your topics are constructive, good quality, I appreciated it.
3597  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com |Instant BTC & ETH withdrawals | Live Games & Slots! |Rakeback |VIP on: October 28, 2020, 06:15:30 AM
My experience with Duelbits: A few days ago, my deposit was stuck, and I contacted support via email at support@duelbits.com
It only takes 10 minutes to get the reply and one hour to get my issue solved.
Impressive fast reply to support ticket from customer. I vouch for Duelbit support team and their works.

Could you share with us how your stucked deposit was resolved, please. If you make bitcoin deposit recent days, it is easy to know why yours was stucked because the mempool was loaded up too much latest days. If your deposit transaction was broadcasted with too low fee, it can be stucked in the mempool and DuelBit has nothing to do. It is a risk for them to accept deposit at too low transaction fee (1 or 2 satoshi/byte).

It is different if the problem is from account balance credit process: Sometimes, transactions were confirmed with few confirmations but platforms have technical errors to credit them to customer balance.

My presence definitely increased with the lock down.
In the privacy of my laptop in my room, I  can indulge a lot more on my true love, bitcoin, without some other eyes questioning my dirty habits.
Who on the forum can call your habits as dirty?

You do what bitcoiners would do (dig to find documents, reports and learn from them to increase your knowledge). There are not many knowledgeable members on the forum like you. You are one of greatest knowledgeable members in Economics board. I read your topics a lot but tbh I am not understanding all your wrote. Undecided
