In what business would you invest ?

considering the current situation we are in ,what business do you think it will have success ?

What business do you think it will be the next Coca Cola, McDonalds,Tesla etc ?

I think food and beverage companies are always a good investment because people will buy these things no matter what. During difficult times we tend to stop any bigger purchases like a new car or a vacation far away. Saving on our food and drinks usually comes very last. Investing in McDonald's and coca cola I would prefer to tesla, the stock is already quite high.
3582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VALORANT Betting on: April 12, 2021, 11:10:34 AM
It's been almost one year since the initial valorant hype. I remember how promising the new game looked because it was so much more beginner friendly than the thee shooters. Almost all the big twitch streamers played it regularly, but now it looks like that valorant didn't make it as the new number one shooter game. I am not betting so much on e sports at the moment because money is a big tight, but I still like to watch games on YouTube and twitch. What I noticed from the viewer numbers is that CSGO is still more popular. And even games like Escape from Tarkov has a lot of viewers even though there is no real competitive angle for betting. Maybe it takes a few more years for Valorant to reach its place at the top.
3583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: April 12, 2021, 10:43:23 AM
there is always a risk
Yep, but you may earn good money

Without risk there wouldn't be any return. You can see from government bonds or money market accounts that there is return to be made right now. Risk free you can maybe earn 0.5-1% right now, with an inflation rate of 2% we are losing money each year if we don't invest it properly. The crypto market is huge with a lot of different alt coins, we can decide for ourself how much risk we are willing to take.
3584  Other / Off-topic / Re: World is moving in to very strange direction just one question to ASK on: April 12, 2021, 10:26:09 AM

When I see something on the news ill always find out what they do... Most of the times those elite guys and girls Still relaxed.
Even now all Good... Welll I dont see Reason to worry about.

So Let's keep Our Eyes on  those rich places... And watch hows the situation there.
Until they dont panic well we have nothing to worry about as we know Everything are just the Way how it is always.

If you clever you always knows how to use your brain and you can Judge situation always.
Logical Thinking is what all you need in life.

I wish the world would be more rational. If I look at the politicians in my country I don't see logical thinking. Their actions are either driven by fear or by an personal motivation. It doesn't feel like there are any long term plans in action. The politicians only focus on the next four years and at the moment the main topic is corona. I wish there was more planning towards the future in 10 or 20 years. Not only how we can spend the most money today.
3585  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia; The digital ruble will be launched in 2023 on: April 12, 2021, 10:17:58 AM
Governments will all eventually turn to Crypto currencies or digital currencies, because it is easier to manipulate them. Just imagine the effort that goes into printing more money, compared to the increasing of the coin cap... when you have a token that are controlled by a government. (Hard forks will be easy, because the government controls all the full nodes)  Angry

They simply tell the developers to adjust the parameters in the code and they update the client and push it electronically to all the full nodes that they are controlling and viola... the coin cap is increased.  Roll Eyes

They are just trying to take advantage of the hype related to cryptocurrencies right now. There is no difference between a CBDC and fiat currency. Original concept of cryptocurrency is not applicable to CBDCs, because they are not decentralized and there can't be any cap on maximum supply. For government, the advantage is that they can mint as many coins as they want, and this time they don't need to spend metal or paper to do that.

But is there a huge demand for the digital ruble? The ruble was quite weak over the last few years in part due to the western sanctions against Russia. A big problem for USA is the Nord stream 2 pipeline being build to sell more energy to Europe. If this project is not getting stopped we could see more sanctions against Russia. Maybe they restrict western markets to trade the digital ruble all together. In my opinion there is not a lot of demand from within Russia.
3586  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: April 12, 2021, 10:08:23 AM
So far all my parents received the first injections of the corona vaccine. The funny thing is that everybody got a different type, my grandmother got biontech, my mother Moderna and my dad AstraZeneca. Noone of them had any side effects, no bad reactions or anything. I heard from a friend of my parents that she felt the injection needle for a day and was a bit tired the next day, but no physical complications. I think we can trust the vaccines.
3587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to Poker on: April 12, 2021, 09:56:18 AM
Hey guys,

what do yout think about a new game, which involves both luck and skill like poker? Is there already such an alternative on the market? The problem with poker is that it is already solved by algorithms. Sure, there are still some players, but not as much as in the old glory times...

Edit: I'm just regarding games that you can play PvP and not against a house-edge-casino.. Wink

I would say any card game that is known around the world could be used in a PvP setup. There a some competitive card games out there which have championships in my city, the only problem is that you only play it with 4 people. The attractiveness of poker is that you can sit with 10 people on one table and play for a lot of money. If you find no limit holdem to competitive you could try and go for different variants like Omaha for example.
3588  Other / Off-topic / Re: Most beloved Person on: April 12, 2021, 09:52:21 AM
Explain freely ...
Who is yours beloved person ever in your life and WHY Huh

For me it is definitely my mother. I love my whole family and also my friends. But my mother took care of me for so long without getting anything in return. My dad left when I was young, so it was very hard for her.
3589  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: April 12, 2021, 09:34:52 AM
The economy will definitely improve but it will take a very long time to recover the economy for developing countries. However, it is different for those whose countries are developed they can certainly quickly overcome economic problems after the Covit 19 pandemic.

The developed countries might be in a better position because they can produce more vaccines should reach herd immunity much faster than poorer countries. Israel for example has so much money that they just bought all the vaccines in the begging and are already back to a normal life. Eventually the whole world needs to recover. What we see is an rise in debt all around the world. So we probably need more stimulus packages to get the economy back on track.
3590  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TWO PARTY SYSTEM; The Best? on: April 12, 2021, 09:30:46 AM
There is no single system that is the best. In this case, the two party has the disadvantage that minority opinions or sectors are not represented or are underrepresented. But the system with many parties also has the disadvantage that it is difficult to get them all to agree, and that sometimes by means of pacts a very minority party obtains advantages for its sector of voters that are exaggerated for the few votes it represents.

I agree, too many small parties will make it impossible to combine them to reach 50%. With the people being so divided these days there is a lot of hostility involved in politics. The politicians prefer to block a new government instead of looking on compromises and how to move on. Everybody wants to get the biggest share of the cake and no one wants to be the loser. In Belgium for example it seems impossible to find a consent for a new government.
3591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newcomers, Moonboys and Fools on: April 12, 2021, 09:13:26 AM
Great summary, I fully agree with you. We have all been newcomers once so we understand how difficult it is to find the right projects among the large number of coins and tokens. Probably the most of us have also lost some money in a project. For me the experience of losing money helped a lot to be more cautious with new coins. You are also right that the market can't rise forever,it will always give bear and bull cycles, we need to be ready to adjust to the trend.
3592  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of music do you listen to? on: April 12, 2021, 09:08:59 AM
Are you into music? What styles of music do you like and what do you dislike? What can you say about contemporary music? What interesting things can you find in contemporary music? Maybe some new styles?

I depends,  I like music a lot but it always comes down to the occasion. When gaming with some friends I really like hard bass. But when relaxing, playing poker or gambling I like something easy like pop or old rock.
3593  Economy / Economics / Re: Counter trade every decision central bank make on: April 12, 2021, 08:54:13 AM
Finally it has to come to this point, every decision central bank made, is outright worthless, to protect yourselves, you should counter trade every single decision they made, when central bank decide to issue digital currencies, it’s your time to counter trade their decision. The way to counter trade central bank, by calling them centralised surveillance fake money, what’s next?

But how do we counter central banks digital currencies? For me counter the coin would be to short the market and try to decline the value, but the central bank can just issue new ones. This is very risky for us because the central banks have unlimited miney
The best thing for us is probably just to avoid these coins and stick to our crypto coins.

3595  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many mentors Do you have? on: April 11, 2021, 06:50:13 AM
Unfortunately I don't have why mentors. I had a mentor during high-school and university but he died last year. It was very valuable to talk with an older man about plans and goals in life. Mentoring is a very important part to support younger people in their first steps of business environments. I hope one day I can do that too.
3596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 11, 2021, 06:45:42 AM
I agree with you that we all should be responsible gamblers and only use the money we are able to lose. If we need to money for other things than we shouldn't gamble with it, winning is not a guarantee in gambling. Casinos are businesses that operate to make money for them self. If they aren't profitable then they are going to close down. While for some people gambling is just leisure and a way to relax in the evening, there are others who want to make money with gambling. There are strategies out there that can help us, but in the end not everybody can be winning. There will always be some who win and some who lose.
3597  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversifying with REITs - buy a prison :) on: April 11, 2021, 06:33:52 AM
I wasn't aware that you could invest in prisons. Always thought they were some special companies owned partially by the county or state. This sounds very interesting. I saw in an documentary about prisons that the normal prisons are very profitable because inmates all have a job and are not getting paid a decent salary. So prisons with non life sentenced convicts have a pretty high percentage of the inmates working. The prisons that are not really profitable are the supermax ones where inmates remain in their cells all day.
3598  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: April 10, 2021, 11:58:15 AM
Well, I think corruption or bribery in sports goes back to the sportsman or the athlete himself, because if he really likes his profession and thinks about his future career, then corruption or bribery in sports will not happen because they or the players will definitely refuse. I personally never know if an election campaign says that because usually they only deal with corruption in government circles and not in sports but anyway, if it is done then of course to fight corruption is a good thing.
All i could see here is betrayal of public trust. We the public trusted them and made them head these organizations or clubs and they aren't be trusted by the same individual who put them there. Also, i think the problem also come from us the public becasue we are still same individual who will go ahead to defend these criminals becasue they belong to our constituencies or family members. The laws of the land should catch up with any who is find braking the law period and others will learn.

I fully agree with you. The laws are just to mild for corruption in my opinion. If there would be longer prison sentences and more monetary backslashes then athlete's would think twice before doing something wrong. Salaries are already high for the big teams, there is no need to break the trust of the fans and industry. Then again fans keep forgetting quite fast. When there is only a 1 or 2 year ban for cheating than everything is forgotten. With so much money involved in the betting market we need tougher controls against corruption and manipulation.
3599  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe history repeat itself? Economic wise. on: April 10, 2021, 11:46:41 AM
High inflation driving everybody insane. The guy who is running out of money to keep up with the expenditure are pushing themselve to gambling their cash on everything possible, stock market, crypto, commodity. The cycle can be seen in years of the past. It’s not a untold story.
Food price is surely soaring. Some items in the online store soaring in price too, can’t you ignore it wouldn’t impact your daily routine, the inflation drag everybody down into the rabbit hole, no one can escape this chaos.

Yes, I do believe that history is repeating itself. Humans like to live in patterns and follow our fellow people, herd movements are very common. And also people tend to forget very past. That is probably also why so many scientist spent a lot of time analysing past data. And fundamental investors who use chart analysis to find trading signals are also very profitable.
3600  Other / Off-topic / Re: Future Cities on: April 10, 2021, 11:29:00 AM
I think that in the next 10 years we're going to see a new kind of city develop.  One where the land is fully-owned by a corporation and rented to residents.  Ownership will be a choice, of course, but most folks will rent because they're "just passing through."  Imagine a block of land, anywhere, free of government restrictions.  People could do as they please for once.  Doctors would not need licensure, leading to the availability of the world's cheapest and best medical care.

It's a fairly extreme vision, but I think the time is soon for concepts like this one.

I think this would be the dream of any company, they own your home and you don't have to pay rent, but in return you are only paid a small salary. Imagine Amazon or Apple would just build their own city instead of an office complex. Let every worker do home office and make only video conferences from home. Owning large office blocks would be completely redundant. Your boss also bring your landlord, scary times.
