CRyptocurrency Mining is a huge industry. Combining that with a much larger market for computing power would be much more tasking. How does the team plan to take on the task?

I believe the team are aware of the intensity of the task involved and are putting up structures to ensure the project is successful. The whitepaper has some information about the structural issues which the developers intends to execute.

This is certainly a huge project. This would require a much larger team, fund and experience. BTW what experience does Neuroneum team have in cloud computing?

This information should be found on their website, under the team section. Besides, I believe information such as these should be available on all official platforms of the project.

The best way to check the team is ICOBench. Normally team approve and list their whole team name. If team did not approve the review, then something wrong with the project and I would keep away from such projects.

Are you really relying on ICOBench to check such things? I wouldn't say that this is a good idea. Better to check such things directly on the website or ask the team in Telegram.

The counter on their website still shows $1.1 million raised so far. This is how it looks for a month now (just an estimation from my side). I always thought it's okay when they have a focus on different things but right now I wish that they would give us an update about their private sale at least ever 2 weeks or so.

I was surprised by the relatively good rating on ICObench I think. I was a bit cautious here as I remember a similar project that turned out to be a scam. Will give this another look.

Were there already other mining projects that went the security token road and turned out to be a scam? Hard to believe because it isn't that easy to just disappear again when you have all your documents already checked by the SEC.

well as it stands right now i believe the team are putting things in place to make sure they achieve their goals, time will tell how they are going to make that happen

Crypto currency and tokens have a growing adaptation. More companies are looking to use Blockchain based projects for the speed, transparency and low transaction fee they offer. Neuroneum has an amazing future if they keep up with all in the whitepaper.

yeah, it seems a lot of people are getting involve with cryptocurrency now more than before i believe the good days of cryptocurrency will soon be a think we all enjoy

Crypto mining industry is one of the biggest industry that dominate the crypto world last year when many crypto goes up like bitcoin. So that until now many company and project are starting to create mining project.

But even mining giants like Bitmain had a really rough last year with a huge loss. So I would say that a lot of mining projects closed last year due to the bear market.

So their token won't be an ERC-20 one but an ERC-1404? Is this correct? I never heard of this before but it looks like this is the standard for security tokens? Can someone list the main differences between both ERC-20 and ERC-1404?

Our token will actually be an ST20 token issued using Polymath's network. Polymath have had a big input on how the ERC-1400 Security Token standards have been defined and the ST20 token will be upgraded to include any new standard features as and when they become the standard. It all runs on the Ethereum network with standard wallets that can support ERC-20 tokens

I heard of Polymath. It's good that you using such a security token issuing platform. But am I correct that the ST20 tokens are still tokens on the Ethereum network or are they on a separate blockchain?

Yes the tokens are still on the Ethereum blockchain, Polymath were of the view that there is no need to re-invent the wheel when there is a perfectly capable platform that they can use. They plan, I believe, to add other platforms in the future

The difference is in how the token works, security laws say we need to know who holds ourntokens so the tokens will only be transferable between registered wallets for example. The ST20 builds all of these features into the token contract

What implications does this have for potential exchange listings? It sounds like this way your tokens wouldn't be allowed to be traded on most (if not all) traditional crypto exchanges (like Binance, Kucoin, Bitmax etc.). Does it mean it will be only tradeable on a regulated STO-exchange?

Initially yes, there are a few Security token exchanges live already - tZero and OpenFinance Network both of which support Polymath tokens.

Binance are working with the Malta Stock Exchange to launch a Security Token exchange and there are a few others that we've been talking to who haven't publicly announced that they are working on a solution.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. STOs have really some special requirements that I haven't heard of before. If STOs become more and more popular, I am sure more exchanges will emerge that are allowed to trade security tokens.

Why not factor the cost of KYC into the token rather than having investors pay for KYC? I know the FAQ says you are factoring KYC cost into discounts, but 50% discount is not unheard of in the industry. Paying for KYC just takes the loathsomeness of getting KYCed to a whole new level

A 50% discount? Well, that looks like giving tokens at no cost. Would the percentage bonus be much lower with a new phase of the token sale?

Just to clarify - the 50% discount is purely for tokens that we will distribute to reimburse the cost of KYC and Accredited checks.

So if you spend $2 on a KYC check we'll give you 30 MBTX at a price of $0.066 each instead of the $0.15 STO price.
If you spend $60 on an accredited investor check then we'll reimburse with 800 MBTX at a price of $0.075 each

The only other discount we are offering is during the pre-sale where we are running our raise only in POLY at a 1:1 ratio. Poly is currently fluctuating between $0.08 and $0.09. Our main sale will be 'pegged' to $0.15 and allow you to invest with POLY or ETH.

So you will have to pay $2 to get your KYC documents checked? Is this normal for an STO? Never had a project before that charged for this.

Sure, a bigger team could be good but they shouldn't make the same mistakes as a lot of other projects did and blow up their team-structure too much at the beginning. Because during this bear market a lot of projects, like Steemit, had to fire most of their employees.

Very nice to see another STO. In my opinion, security tokens are the future. There were just too many scam-ICOs around so I can totally understand that people now are looking for projects that are fully registered with the SEC.

Can you show us the physical data center that you are referring to, how much physical data center you have prepared because it requires a lot of funds and most importantly how you will manage the energy used considering current issues related to global warming that threaten the earth

I don't get it? They will have data centers? Can you show me where you found this information? I thought the whole idea behind the project is to not have expensive, centralized physical data centers like Amazon or Google do?

I'm yet to get any substantial information regarding the teams activities as pertaining to blockchain conferences and meetings. I believe that informations regarding the teams involvement in blockchain activities should be communicated to the community.

I agree with you regarding the communication of the teams performance with the community. Communication brings about trust and confidence on the team, which is very important for the project performance.

I know that a lot of people are waiting of the next big project, the next 100x that would make them rich. Well, we are in a bear market and it would take a good project much more promotions to gain attention.

I think the bear is almost gone and even rounding up, ETH have been able to stay above $120 for the past 24hrs. I bet most people haven't check out Neuroneum.io website to see for themselves the benefit of taking part in the ICO... BTT did ICO in Binance lab and went above 600% from its initial price.. That's massive

I don't share your optimism here and I think we are still in the middle of the bear market. Sure, we saw some green over the last couple of days. But I just don't see that this is the shift in the overall market sentiment. To really convince me otherwise, we have to maintain this positive news for more than just a few days.

To be honest, I am sure they are already promoting their project on conferences. Just because they don't tweet about it on a daily basis, doesn't mean that they aren't doing so. It would surprise me a lot if they just sit around and wait for private investors to come and learn about Neuroneum.

Blockchain conferences are the best place to get potential investors also. I hope they will come up with good news soon.

A good news would boost the token sales. Announcing the completion of a millstone on the roadmap, future plans or an exciting news to keep the community interest.

We'll probably have to be patient a little bit longer. It seems like right now, they are rather working silently than posting a lot of things on their social media.

Which conferences they are going? Any idea? But for sure, this is best idea to capture some investors on board.

Not sure which bigger, well-known conferences they are attending, to be honest. But I guess there are a lot of smaller meetings where crypto CEOs and private investors meet to discuss potential partnerships.

Please, I would like to know if there's bounty campaign for this project and the link to enrol for the campaign. I personally admire the concept of the project and will love to earn some tokens carrying out tasks.
Yeah, I am looking for this one too, lets wait until the team announce it since there is a lot of investor now, and we need to spread the news about this one.

This was asked several times before; I think they will announce something before the public sale; for now I don't think there an ongoing campaign since the focus is on the private investments.

Private investments are not handled via social media promotions I guess. CEO visits several such private investment firms, pitch their project and get investments.

They are not but leads can be found through that too; It would not be as effective of course. I think the best way to secure private investments is through face talks.

There’s that too. Neuroneum team could gain more attention when they attended Blockchain conferences, make more deals and partnerships both with Blockchain based and existing  project

To be honest, I am sure they are already promoting their project on conferences. Just because they don't tweet about it on a daily basis, doesn't mean that they aren't doing so. It would surprise me a lot if they just sit around and wait for private investors to come and learn about Neuroneum.

Excited to know Neuroneum has so much in stock for the new year. Don’t miss out of the exciting project, check out Neuroneum roadmap; https://twitter.com/teamneuroneum/status/1075217062862057472?s=21.

As far as I know, this roadmap isn't accurate anymore. Same for the one on the website. The team needs to update it at first, a Telegram admin also confirmed this. They should really hurry up.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 📢🔥[ANN]NEURONEUM - Best In Decentralized Cloud Computing & Crypto-Mining🔥📢 on: February 09, 2019, 10:00:56 AM
It’s good to know that Neuroneum is paying more attention to promotions and marketing. This is a bearish market hence every project would need more promotions to have a successful token sale. The team assigned 30% of funds received to promotions and marketing and I think that great.

Market seem to be coming up quite well this recent times I hope it sustains its momentum maybe its that time of the bill market. I think that the assigned 30% is also great for marketing, they will need such huge resources no doubt

Yes and no you can tell theirs some big players playing with the overall market as you can see some big chunks up and down of about 10% that is not normal trading its market manipulation but the thing we have to watch for is the overall market trend to start reversing on the longterm charts

There was some green and uptrend movement going on; however it is too early to say this is a good thing or a temporary thing. Let us see if breaks previous records; ETH for example couldn't hit 200 in a loong time.

The question is whether this uptrend can continue and whether Neuroneum can profit from it. Because right now, in their private sale, I am pretty sure they get their investments in fiat.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 📢🔥[ANN]NEURONEUM - Best In Decentralized Cloud Computing & Crypto-Mining🔥📢 on: February 08, 2019, 09:54:58 PM
A lot if investor will invest on this project since the market is low, for sure many will attract on this, and while market is still down the team should spread more advertisement in different social media platform Grin

This is one of those social media channels. I’ll like to see Neuroneum team participate in discussions on this platform.

I've already stressed on this sometime back but I genuinely think the team has a better chance with private investments than public; I am not sure the market will response as well as it used to.

Neuroneum team sure have a great plan for this their project they are now keeping spreading how good their project is to caught investors eye and to gain more supporters for their project.

Neuroneum has a pretty high rating on icoholder. You can check out the website for details about Neuroneum. It’s great to see Neuroneum rated by most ico review websites.

Not really a fan of these ICO rating sites to be honest. Nobody should base their decision to invest or not on the results of such a rating. There are dozens of these sites and some of them even take money to make a better rating.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 📢🔥[ANN]NEURONEUM - Best In Decentralized Cloud Computing & Crypto-Mining🔥📢 on: February 08, 2019, 07:01:28 PM
Right now they are in the private round of their ICO. Does anyone know when this private sale is over? Would be interesting to know if there will be a gap between private and main-sale in May.

The private round is what seems to work for many ICOs given the market conditions. They should get as much as they can being on the private round. This stage would determine how things would look forward.

Sure, but what are the exact dates for the private sale? Will it be running until the main-sale starts? Or will they even have a pre-sale before the main-sale?

I think you should checkout Neuroneum website and take a look at the roadmap. They are at the private sale stage of ICO.

But the roadmap shows no exact starting/end date for the private sale. That's why I was asking. In my opinion this should be clearly visible on their website.
