Benzema's future is still ambiguous now. There is still a possibility for him to leave Real Madrid by the end of the season. But it looks like he wants to stay for one more season at least. It is clearly visible that he enjoys his game at Real Madrid now. Especially his performance in the recent times has been worth watching. Maybe he is 35 years old but this isn't any hindrance for him to show a high level performance anyway.

Not every striker can be this much helpful for their team after starting to get quite old. Benzema is a special striker because of that. Especially after Ronaldo left the team Benzema had a huge opportunity to shine much more than before. He has had a big role in the successes of his team. He was even the MVP of the team last season. I hope Real Madrid keep him for another season if they don't plan to make a top signing for his position this summer.

Mbappe is still in this league with PSG because of money mostly of course. He wants to achieve the Champions League title at least for once as well but I don't know if he can. Because PSG still don't seem trustworthy for that target. Above all else I don't like their choice for a coach. Galtier isn't the right coach for this team. He isn't experienced with big teams therefore it creates some kind of an obstacle for this team to achieve their targets.

I know that they haven't achieve that title anyway with a more experienced coach. But I just think like they still haven't found the right one for themselves. Zidane can really be the best choice but it won't be easy for PSG to convince him to manage them either. Because he doesn't even think of managing a team these days. Instead he is eager to manage France national team if I'm not wrong.

Feyenoord are favourite to win the first leg against Roma by a quite decent odd margin now. Playing in their home stadium is also a big factor in this of course. But I still can't overlook Feyenoord's impressive season now. They are quite close to winning the title in their domestic league currently. This is a big motivation for them to do their best in the Europa League as well. Because they can even make double if they qualify for the finale.

Meanwhile Roma are also having a really good season. Maybe they aren't a title contender in the Serie A now but they are still about to finish this season more successfully than the previous one. They can get their ticket to the Champions League there. Roma care about European cups no matter which one of them they are in. We saw this in the previous season in a finale between them and Feyenoord.

I think Feyenoord won't lose the first match but in the rematch I believe Roma can somehow manage to eliminate them with their and Mourinho's experience.

Tottenham managed to win against Brighton despite not being the dominant side in the match. Brighton even seemed better than them statistically but they still couldn't get any point here. This is good for Tottenham of course because they are still fighting for top four to be able to qualify for the Champions League. While even finishing in top four isn't a big success for them they are even on the brink of finishing the season out of this area.

Kane indicated his opinion about this situation before. He said that qualifying for the Champions League isn't enough for a team like Tottenham. They need to win titles as well he said. He is really right about this because this team has a really solid squad as it is seen clearly. I still hope to see Kane leaving this summer because he is wasting his time here without a single success.

Karagümrük maçının Fenerbahçe için zorlu bir maç olacağını düşünüyorum. Çünkü Karagümrük uzun bir zamandır ligde mağlubiyet yüzü görmüyor. Ayrıca Fenerbahçe ile aralarındaki en son lig maçı da oldukça çekişmeli bitmişti ve tamı tamına 9 gol izlemiştik. Yine fazla gol görür müyüz bilmiyorum ama Fenerbahçe'nin kolay bir galibiyet almasını beklemiyorum. Derbi mağlubiyetinden sonra kupada yüzleri gülse de bu maçı en fazla ufak bir farkla kazanırlar bana göre.

No matter what happens I will still appreciate Dortmund's high effort this season. You know that normally they don't aim the league championship before anything else. Their main target has been the same for so many years which is to bring new talents here and improve their skills by giving those youngsters the chances they need. After that they sell those players and make a lot of money.

But this season is really different for them. Of course they still keep this vision but it seems like they put the league championship ahead of that vision for this season. Because they are really giving their best in each match in the Bundesliga. They are still not good at defending but they have been able to make up for that side by scoring a lot of goals until now. I'd really like to see them being the champions but after losing the latest der Klassiker their job has become harder.

Before saying something in detail about the Manchester United v Sevilla draw, I would like to share my opinion about how two legs will end. I think Manchester United will defeat Sevilla by at least two goals and the second leg will end in a draw. Coming back to my other opinions about this draw, I think Manchester United outweigh their opponent by a huge gap now. Maybe they had a bad form for a couple of weeks but now we can clearly see them playing strongly.

Sevilla aren't in a similar situation I'm afraid. They are still a big mess and they can't create a formula to fix at least a portion of their problems. Even though Betis were in much better condition than Sevilla they still lost by a really big score in Old Trafford. Sevilla can't stand a chance when we think of this. Rashford is one of the key players for Manchester United and I think he will make a nice contribution.

Arsenal'in 2-0 üstünlüğünü koruyamaması yetmezmiş gibi bir de nerdeyse Liverpool maçı kazanabilirdi bile. Arsenal Ramsdale'e ne kadar minnettar olsa azdır son anlarda.

Atletico Madrid are just an interesting team in the recent years. They don't manage to give what their supporters want from them at the beginning of the season and even in midseason as well. But after getting away from a La Liga title chance and having a bad result in the Champions League too they suddenly start to play incredibly great. I mean they haven't been losing a single match for 11 weeks in the league.

And right now it is likely to be 12 weeks because they are already 2-0 ahead against Vallecano quite early in the match. But all this might just be enough to take the second place from Real Madrid the most. This season in general hasn't gone well for the team. They were a huge disappointment in the Champions League too. I wonder whether they will continue with Simeone - he still has one more year on his contract.

Nantes v Monaco was really one of the interesting matches I have seen in the Ligue 1 recently. I mean the match was actually under control for Monaco especially in the first half. They got a 2-0 lead already and I don't remember how many times they wasted chances to score their third goal as well. This match proves a point that even a 2-0 lead isn't completely enough to be confident about a win.

Nantes' goals were such easy ones. A header following a cross and there it is!    They didn't even play properly during this match so I just call them as lucky to have this one point today. Monaco had better improve their defending against this kind of situations. This is an important point loss for them while trying to qualify for the Champions League.

There wasn't a one-sided game in the Torino v Roma match that is for sure. Because both sides found really critical chances during the match. Dybala made his team get ahead very early in the match by a penalty goal. I think this was really important for Roma as they captured a psychological advantage earlier in the match. But it wasn't going to be easy for them to keep this advantage to the final whistle.

Because Torino also found some important chances to score. The biggest one was the one Miranchuk found. There was a really great header by him to the right corner but Patricio was impressive with his save there. If that ended up with a goal things would have been difficult for Roma. This win carried Roma ahead of Milan and Inter both in the standings.

However Roma had better improve their effort more to be consistent in the remaining fixtures.

Serdar Dursun made a statement like they can become the champions in the league if they win all of their remaining matches. If they really win all of them then who knows there can still be a chance for Fenerbahce. But realistically it is a really difficult task to perform against a this much powerful Galatasaray. Of course there isn't such thing like Galatasaray will win all of their matches for sure. Fenerbahce's only hope is to see them out-of-form for some weeks.

Meanwhile Fenerbahce have a quite tough match this week as well. Their next match is an away one versus Karagumruk. I still remember that incredible match between them in Fenerbahce's home which ended by 5-4. Karagumruk have a lasting unbeaten series like 11 matches now. They should be able to resist Fenerbahce very well as a result. I just want to bet on both teams to score for this one.

Chelsea struggled with their defending as usual. Wolves were so comfortable with producing so many dangerous attacks in Chelsea defense. The big openings helped Wolves score as a result. But that goal was such a spectacular one honestly. It can even be the best goal in Nunes' career so far.    Kepa didn't have too much thing to do about that rocket. But Chelsea still could have answered them however they failed unfortunately.

Lampard is only a temporary coach now. I don't think he is under pressure by the board now. Chelsea wanted this formula in the first place. He will leave the job in the summer as you must have heard. Lampard is just taking care of things in the rest of the season. But of course Chelsea are still competing in the Champions League too. It looks like this is the end for them there with this performance.

Benfica and Inter are also going to play against each other in this round. I think this matchup is a candidate to be a quite competitive one. Because I don't see a big difference between these teams considering their performances in the season so far. Benfica are actually doing much better in their domestic league compared to Inter's situation in theirs. There is a significant quality gap between two leagues too though but we still can't overlook Benfica's extraordinary effort this year.

This is pushing me to give Benfica nearly the same chance as Inter to qualify for next round honestly. I know that Inter already eliminated a Portuguese team which was Porto. But Benfica are stronger than Porto now. Inter didn't eliminate them very comfortably so I expect them to have bigger difficulties against Benfica.

I think Benfica have what it takes to win their home match in the first leg.

Atletico Madrid de son zamanlarda hep aynı sezonu yaşamaya başladı. Hatta bu sezon onlar için daha kötü geçti denilse de yalan olmaz. Çünkü Şampiyonlar Ligi'ne gerçekten kötü bir grup aşaması performansı ile oldukça erken veda etti. Ligde de geçen sezonun bir benzerini yaşıyorlar. Lige pek iyi bir başlangıç yapamadılar ve bu sırada ligin diğer 2 büyük takımı onlara sağlam bir fark attılar.

Oldukça geç açıldıktan sonra uzun süren sağlam bir form tutturmayı başardılar. Belki bu form onları şampiyonluk yarışının içine sokmaya yeterli olmadı ama en azından ilk 4 içindeki yerlerini daha da sağlamlaştırmayı sağladı. Özellikle Betis'e karşı alınan galibiyet oldukça önemliydi. Yine de sezon sonu Simeone ile yolların ayrılması gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Atletico Madrid çok iyi bir kadroya sahip ve daha iyi yönetilmeyi hak ediyor.

Something attracted my attention while I was checking the odds of the matches on this week. The odds of the Tottenham v Brighton match seem quite interesting. Because it is like these teams have the same odds for the victory. I don't have any idea how bookmakers determined these like that. Because there is still a significant difference between them even though the point gap is only four now.

In addition to that Tottenham defeated them in their latest matchup as well. Actually Tottenham have some missing players but still they have nearly all of their starting eleven players healthy on one hand. Kane is their key player as he has scored 22 goals so far and he should also be able to play. Even if it looks risky according to the odds I will still go for Tottenham victory to bet on.

They really need this win after losing points two weeks in a row. This is top 4 we are talking about.

There is a really interesting match like Dortmund v Union Berlin on this match week. Dortmund are of course shown as quite the favourite for the victory here. However I don't see it that simple though. We shouldn't forget about two facts now. One of them is that Union Berlin defeated them before. The other one is that there is only a gap like two points between these two now. This should be enough for this match to be seen a close one I think.

I know that there was a similar case between Bayern Munich and Dortmund too but Bayern Munich destroyed them. But I don't see a huge difference between Dortmund and Union Berlin like that one. It is the truth that Dortmund have been in a really solid form for weeks. But after losing an important match they will need to be extra aware. Both of these teams are technically in this title race.

Considering all this I will be betting on both teams to score. I think we will see good performances from both sides.

Juventus have been quite lucky at the same time while they are continuing to get positive results in the league. I mean nearly all of the teams that are at upper positions in the standings have lost quite many points recently. This has made Juventus even catch up with top four these days. I mean the point gap with the fourth-placed team is only six points now. Considering that there are still 10 more matches to be played I believe Juventus have a chance for not only the 6th position but also the 4th one.

It won't be easy anyway that's for certain. But still they just need to keep up this form to maintain their chance for European tournaments. The match versus Lazio will be quite difficult though but I don't expect Juventus to give up that easy there.

Gerçekten o nasıl bir maçtı öyle yahu.    Aslında Barcelona maça daha iyi bir başlangıç yapan taraftı ama yine de Real Madrid beklenmedik bir skorla kazanmayı başardı. 4-0 gibi ağır bir yenilgi Barcelona için oldukça üzücü olmalı ama yine de kafalarına çok fazla takacaklarını sanmıyorum. Şu an zaten kat kat daha önemli bir amaç uğrunda La Liga şampiyonluğu için uğraşıyorlar.
