Atalanta are going to have a very hard match that is for sure. Napoli are one of the strongest teams in the league currently and they are competing hard by trying their best to achieve the Serie A title after so many years. But I don't wait for Atalanta to play scaredly of course. They are also a solid team and they don't have a bad season now. And it is important for them too to get point or points in this match. They are just going to try to catch Napoli by surprise if they can manage.

The biggest problem for the Dortmund side currently is their defense as it can be seen easily by some of their matches. They make really big mistakes and these ones cause them big difficulties against their competitors as a result. Dortmund lost so many points just because they couldn't defend their competitors well. I'm waiting for the Barcelona - Sevilla match which is going to be played next Sunday. I'm curious about what kind of a match we will watch here. Barcelona are very near winning this match already now. And bookies think the same as me according to the odds of the match now. The reason why me and them think like this is of course that Barcelona have been getting incredible results in their league matches for so many match weeks. They destroyed even Real Madrid by 4-0 in Santiago Bernabeu. As I saw this one, I'm one hundred percent sure that they will destroy Sevilla too.
Why do I feel like this game is going to end a draw ? Sevilla won't let Barcelona go over them just like that, the bookmakers can be very decieving as I don't look at the odds given to Barcelona as favorites for the game. Who ever wins although I'm not sure will remain second place until the season ends. There is always a possibility for the match to end by that way too. There is no guarantee for Barcelona to win this match of course. But I just don't see Sevilla being good enough to defeat Barcelona in Camp Nou now. They are completely opposite teams now. While Sevilla are continuing to have unsatisfying results, Barcelona are doing a great work in the La Liga. Even demolishing Real Madrid tells us so much. If they get ready for this match fully too, Sevilla might not find a place to run to. |

In the upcoming matches, Liverpool will face Watford. Manchester City will face Burnley. My guess is that they will both win the matches. Watford and Burnley are both teams struggling to stay in the league. There may be surprises in every match of these teams. We'll see if they make an impact that will determine the champion.
These matches are going to be the last matches of these two big teams right before the match between them in Etihad Stadium. I'm not expecting any surprise in both of these matches first. Burnley and Watford both are very likely to relegate from the Premier League now as they are in the relegation area. Manchester United really shouldn't let go of Paul Pogba now. His contract with them is running out day by day so Manchester United should act faster. It was like a nightmare for Italy really. Who would have expected them to lose to North Macedonia like this? I didn't for example and it was completely normal to think so. Because there was an obvious gap between these teams and North Macedonia had nothing to do other than trying to defend them until the final whistle. And they really did it somehow. Their goal in the last minute was very disappointing for Italy and they couldn't answer to this goal unfortunately. Italy must have been among the biggest candidates for the title but they are not even in the World Cup.
Italy have failed to qualify for world cups twice in a row, 2018 and 2022, and it's the first time in their history. It's quite unfortunate for them after winning Euro 2020. They beat England to win the cup. Italy worst nightmare was when they got Eliminated from the world cup for the second time. Though they put in their best, you needed to see how hungry for a goal they were in the game between North Macedonia. Their defeat was shocking and unbelievable, despite playing and dominated the game. North Macedonia didn't come after possession but rather came after a goal, they played a defensive football and scored at stoppage time. My sympathy for Italy, for I know how badly they needed to qualify. The player that is emotionally down when they lost to North Macedonia was Marco Verratti, in his last 5 games both at club and country. 3-1 lost to Nantes 1-0 lost to Nice 3-1 lost to Real Madrid 3-0 lost to Monanco 1-0 lost to North Macedonia Marco Verratti had failed to record a win in these 5 games. While on the other hand is Jorginho, who has never feature in a world cup for Italy. Bad news for both the players and the Country. Thank you for sharing this interesting statistics. It seems like some of their players are really unlucky in the recent times and the same thing is happening for their games of their national team also. North Macedonia had their best match ever undoubtedly. I don't mean that they played something here but the result will be unforgettable for them. They are only three points above the relegation area at the moment. I really don't remember when they started to play this much horrible. They had a really good start to the season as far as I can remember now. But at some point, Everton started to perform poorly and I don't know why. It was like that a magic wand touched them and everything has started going badly for them. I hope they can manage to stay here.
Lampard have hard jobs for Everton because 3 points a head from relegated zone is not safe for them but unfortunately Everton under Lampard still cannot showing good performance because so far since February Everton only can able to win 4 times from 10 matches and next matches fixtures also really difficult for them because Everton have to fight against big teams such as Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal at the end of season Their next match is against West Ham which is also a very difficult one too. The point gap between Milan and Juventus is seven points now. As there are still eight weeks for the end of the season, it is still not impossible for Juventus to catch up with Milan mathematically of course. But if we look at it from a sensible aspect, I think that Juventus don't have a very big chance to succeed in this goal. If we are to talk about those two matches, each one of them is going to be important for Bayern Munich and Dortmund. None of these matches is easy for them. But I believe Bayern Munich are going to maintain their winning streak by destroying Freiburg away. They haven't been showing a very impressive performance lately and they need to gather strength by winning more matches. And Dortmund are going to have a difficult home match against Leipzig. As Dortmund are quite unstable, Leipzig might find a chance to get a point here. But I hope Dortmund win this one.

I agree with @LTU_btc on his picks about the Italy - North Macedonia and Portugal - Turkey matches. Both of these matches are quite likely to end up with many goals. Italy's match could be a completely one-sided match actually but even they can score three goals by themselves. And for the Portugal - Turkey match, I think that both teams will be scoring. But the winner will be Portugal at the end by 2-1 or 3-1. I didn't place any bet on these scores. They are just predictions.

Golden State Warriors got their third loss in a row recently. And it was against Orlando Magic which was even more interesting. It was a low-scoring game and Orlando succeeded in defeating them by 94-90. Stephen Curry didn't play in this game which was another factor for them to lose this. But he was already not performing very impressively recently. And the Denver Nuggets - LA Clippers game was nice to watch last night. Denver managed to win by 127-115 here. And Jokic was very impressive as always. He played with 30 pts, 14 reb, 6 ast.

I have no words to say about this. Barcelona just erased Real Madrid in front of their supporters yesterday. They obliterated Real Madrid by a 4-0 result and this was a lot to sink in for Real Madrid. I wonder if they will come back stronger after having a very poor result like this. They should be thankful that they are still in a safe place in the standings. But for Barcelona, I think that they are surely going to leave Sevilla behind before the end of the season. Sevilla have started a really bad form and this will cost them their second position.
I would not have believed the rapid rebirth of Barcelona. A few weeks ago, the question was whether they could even qualify for the Europe League, so badly did they play in parts and now they sweep Real 4-0 from the field. Especially Aubameyang and Dembele are the new important axis of the game that play perfectly together. Didn't it start to happen so fast? I mean that I was waiting for this to happen by the beginning of next season actually. But here we are and we see that they have already started doing very nice things in the La Liga. Beating the leader up by an embarrassing score must be seen as a proof for it. If the point gap was much less than now, Barcelona would have even had a big chance for the title too. But it shouldn't be a problem for them. Because they are surely going to start a new era as of next season. |

I feel like we are going to have a Liverpool - Manchester City finale in the Champions League. I know that it is early to make predictions like this. Because we don't know even whether both of them can make it to the title. But I just think that both of them will reach that round. Liverpool will eliminate Benfica first and then face Bayern Munich. And I would expect Liverpool to get past them as well even if they have a big difficulty. And Manchester City would eliminate Atletico Madrid first. Then they would have their revenge on Chelsea or eliminate Real Madrid after a solid matchup. And maybe this would be the time for even Manchester City to win the title finally.

I already have my favourites for the semi-finals after seeing the draws for the quarter-finals. I think that Liverpool, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are very likely to reach next round. Benfica did a huge job by eliminating Ajax but I'm afraid this is the end of the road. And Manchester City wouldn't make a big mistake against Atletico Madrid too. Atletico Madrid have reached this round because of Manchester United's bad look. Chelsea - Real Madrid is a really tough matchup but I believe Real Madrid are better now. And Bayern Munich would finish Villarreal off as well.
Bayern Munich have the easiest opponent especially considering the squad available for the German giants as well as their position in the table. That's where I have conflicting ideas about city v athletico. City won't underestimate athletico however I feel they may be surprised at how well they work as a unit. Clearly shown against United. But then again, man City are a different class comapared to Manchester United and will no doubt be passing it in the final third making many chances which no doubt they have the talent to take. The issue for pep will be with 9 games left in the premier league, he may win them both, or he could lose them both. Liverpool will make quick work there attack is too strong. With all the Russian drama at the moment Chelsea will have something to fight for and will put up a fight. But I feel that come the second leg, real will adapt and win the tie. Looking forward to it I didn't say so much thing about the Chelsea - Real Madrid draw. As I said before, I see Real Madrid being one step ahead of Chelsea to advance currently. But you have a good point there too as this big incident about Abramovich can motivate Chelsea to eliminate their competitors one by one too. But this time won't be that easy for Chelsea. In the last season of the Champions League, Real Madrid were playing really desperately against them. And their general look also wasn't that good. But now, there is a completely new Real Madrid. |
