I wonder whether Sporting will be able to resist against Dortmund in some way. As you can remember, they were erased by Ajax with a 5-1 result. And it was even a home match for Sporting. I'm really curious about what's wrong with them. They are the last champions in the Liga Portugal. They should fight for getting points. But I only saw a desperate team against Ajax. And their match against Dortmund is going to be away. If they have big problems on their defense again, Dortmund would do the same thing to them also. Haaland would really like to score many goals against them.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen to the bitcoin price if adoption increased on a larger scale? on: September 24, 2021, 08:22:17 PM
I think that the answer is quite simple. If Bitcoin adoption reached a huge level, then the price would be affected by this very positively also. Because when the adoption rate increases very highly, people will start demanding Bitcoin much more than ever before. And this will reflect on the price directly. Because the more the demand, the bigger the price is.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 24, 2021, 08:18:14 PM
It looks like Mercedes as always is going to dominate this track, they have the most victories here so I am afraid we are going to see a boring race, much different from last one in Monza where McLaren won after almost ten years of not doing so.The weather forecast is rain but not heavy one like in Spa in Belgium so most probably the race will be held at rainy weather because that's the weather until next Friday or more. This at least makes me inpatient about this race.I am hoping for an interesting race, one thing is sure in rainy races,Safety car will be deployed so by gambling that would be an interesting bet.

Mercedes drivers will dominate this race indeed. Because Verstappen is gonna start the race from the last spot. And I don't know whether Perez would fight back against Hamilton and Bottas on his own. He has already been having a difficulty in keeping up with them. He hasn't given the expected yet. Hence, the thing that I'm curious about the most is which one will be the winner at the end of the race, Hamilton or Bottas?  Bottas seems to be fired up after his future has become certain. It looks like he aims to hit Hamilton hard before leaving the team.  Grin

Real Madrid player Marco Asensio seems like being in Liverpool's targets. Asensio couldn't get too much chance lately but he performed really well in his last match by making a hat-trick. If he keeps up his great effort, Real Madrid would start giving him more chances. And then, Liverpool should already forget about this transfer.

I'm going to be favoring Chelsea against Manchester City tomorrow. Because they are showing a better performance and they are really consistent in the recent times. I can't say the same thing for City after seeing their inadequate performance against Southampton. I need to see the usual effort from them to believe that they can put up a really good fight against Chelsea in this match. Tuchel already knows what to do against City as they beat City a couple of times.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 24, 2021, 04:20:41 PM
It was great to see the last champions Lille winning another match in the league this season. They beat Reims by 2-1 but I must say also that it was a quite balanced match. Burak Yilmaz didn't score but made 2 assists. And I think that he was the player of the match. I hope to see Lille getting better in the coming weeks also. This is not the form we want to see from them in the end.

After watching PSG's match against Metz yesterday, I was wondering how weak their forward lineup is, depending on a defender's two goals to win against their weaker Metz! Even then PSG scored their second goal in 90 + 5 minutes. Their luck is very good, otherwise they would not have won this match. Despite having so many good players on the team, I am not enjoying their gameplay at all. Now, I think they are an average quality team. They should be stronger.

PSG are not having their best performance lately and that's why they are struggling really much. They have a great lineup and attacking players. But they still can't get an easy victory against weak teams like Metz. They were better before the Lyon game actually but something started going really wrong for them. They should find the source of the current problem and solve it as soon as possible.
1027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difficulty of explaining Bitcoin to people is massive on: September 24, 2021, 10:14:31 AM
Explaining Bitcoin to especially old people is really hard to me. Because they only know the fiat currencies and gold mostly. They are accustomed to this monetary system too much that they don't even want to give a new technology a chance. Even when they hear about that the prices of cryptocurrencies are very volatile or changeable, they are afraid of the possibility that they can lose a lot of money.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 24, 2021, 10:10:25 AM
according to express a few hours ago currently Tottenham are reportedly ready to make a swap deal involving Tanguy Ndombele and Anthony Martial.
is this a precaution for the possibility of kane changing clubs or do they want to increase their attack power considering that currently Tottenham are not playing well in attack?
but if this is true, I don't think martial arts is the right thing, considering his current performance at MU can't be said to be good even until now Martial is still a subscription from the MU bench

It would be an interesting swap deal actually. The reason why is that Anthony Martial can play as a winger and a centre-forward. However, Tanguy Ndombele is more like a midfielder. He can even play as a defensive midfielder also. In this situation, it is not a great swap as Ndombele won't be able to fill the same place in the squad. But maybe Manchester United are thinking of filling Martial's exact position with another player.

Manchester United were defeated by West Ham in the EFL Cup match by 1-0 and West Ham took revenge on them by doing this. It would be good to see Manchester United not being eliminated very early in this tournament but it is still not a very big cup so I don't see it as a big problem. If it was the FA Cup, then it would be really bad for them as it is a really prestigious cup in the country.

Anyway, their next target in the Premier League is Aston Villa and it is a home match. Aston Villa are a really tough opponent and they beat Everton by 3-0 last. Manchester United should be really careful against them. They can win this match but they must be ready to defend their opponent really well also.
A sweet revenge taken by West Ham. West Ham just showed Manchester United the door to leave. However, don't you think Manchester United defeats look very normal, and they get knocked out, just like Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and others, as the majority of key players don't play in these competitions! It's okay if they have plans to do big things in the Premier League and Champions League. Meanwhile, they are busy breaking records on the big stage.

The defeat was normal, yeah. Because they didn't have their full usual lineup in the match. And West Ham took advantage of this a lot. If Manchester United wanted to win this and promote to the next round, they would do this I think. But they need to think about their next Premier League match which is in only two days and this is a more important match for them of course. Because the main target is to win the Premier League this season after adding Ronaldo to the lineup also.

I wouldn't say the defeat was "normal" as Manchester United still had a very good team on the pitch. Sancho just can't live up to his full potential right now, no idea why. He delivered consistently in Dortmund in the end. But that is how it often works, they want to go to a new club for more money and out of a sudden they lose they ability to perform for quite a while. He usually he fits well into that team, but if he isn't of any help for now he is going to have a hard time.

Sancho played for a long time at Dortmund in the Bundesliga. But the English Premier League is totally different than there. The game plans are different and this is a much tougher league. Maybe he is just having a problem on adapting to this situation. Because he is a very talented player normally. When he starts having his usual performance, I expect to see him contributing to the team a lot.
1030  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on a recovery mode on: September 23, 2021, 11:25:35 PM
Bitcoin's recovery phase is still going on as it seems. In the last 24 hours, I see that the price reached nearly $45k ($44.9k). I wonder if Bitcoin price will manage to break this resistance level. If the price makes it, then maybe we can see it still going forward towards $50k. But it won't be a quick increase to there as it seems for now. We just keep being patient about it.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 23, 2021, 11:21:23 PM
Manchester United's next opponent is Aston Villa. We saw how strong Aston Villa is in the match against Everton last week. They were able to win the match by 3-0. But actually, they didn't dominate the match and Everton found many chances too. But Everton's clumsiness made things even easier for Aston Villa. But they are still dangerous as for attacking. However, I expect Manchester United to win this match.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin survive without Elon Musk? on: September 23, 2021, 08:17:00 PM
I think that the answer is yes, it can survive. Because you should already know that Dogecoin was surviving without a problem even before Elon Musk started being interested in Dogecoin and manipulating it. It was just a meme coin and the inventors also said that they released it for fun. But they had no idea about the Elon Musk factor back then.  Grin  Elon Musk helped the price go to the moon. And now, Dogecoin seems like it is on its own.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 23, 2021, 08:09:49 PM
I honestly think karim benzema is one of the most underrated player of this generation, I don't know how this player has become so small in sport, already this season karim benzema has more that 5 goals and high assist, when cristiano ronaldo left, Real madrid needed someone to carry the flag of the spanish giant, and he did his best, although not like cristiano ronaldo did, but I think Karim benzema is not getting the respect in football that he should be getting with all he has and all he is doing at Real madrid.

When Real Madrid had Gonzalo Higuain, Karim Benzema was having a difficulty in showing his talents really much. Because Higuain was having the most chances. But after he left the team, Benzema found a big chance to show himself more. While even Ronaldo was at the team, Benzema was still performing really good. But he is not known as a star player by most people I think and it is not fair for him. He is performing really awesome despite being 33 years old now. He already has 8 goals and 7 assists in 6 games in the La Liga. Real Madrid will really miss him when he leaves or retires.

Barcelona are still very inconsistent as they barely equalized the score against Granada in the last minutes and got another draw. This time, they are playing away against Cadiz tonight. Cadiz are one of the teams that started the season poorly. On the other hand, Barcelona lost their last match against Cadiz away by 2-1. I feel like it is another tough match waiting for them.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: September 23, 2021, 03:00:43 PM
The teams approach this match in different situations - City has 3 points, and PSG have two lost in the match with an outsider. Therefore, the defeat for PSG will be very alarming, so they will play almost at the limit. But will City tense up? Even if they lose, they still have a home game against PSG and potentially better results against the other two teams. Therefore, if we assume that City is much stronger than PSG now, but will not play to the limit of their capabilities, and PSG will be, then PSG may draw or win.

PSG is a somewhat particular team
let's say, if you want, it's a bit like Inter Milan

rich in talents, little amalgamated with each other

the problem is that they can play crap or if they are inspired to become a tank

For me PSG is a money bag and nothing more, I would not compare this team with Inter or Milan. PSG is more like City but in bad shape right now. Maybe if Mbappé thinks more about the game and not about the transition to Real, Neymar is more to play than to pretend and Messi somehow integrates into the team PSG will represent a strong contender for victory in the Champions League.

PSG are really having a tough time lately. I'm aware of their winning all of their league matches so far. But this doesn't prove anything yet. By the way, they struggled a lot in their last two league matches. And they had a big difficulty against C. Brugge in the CL also. Messi needs time to start playing better. In the match against City, I think that they won't be able to win but both teams will score.
1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Gold: Superiority on: September 23, 2021, 12:35:28 PM
I don't think that we need to discuss which one is superior to the other. They both have advantages and disadvantages for their investors. It is better to let people make their own choice about what to do. Some people are totally against new technologies like cryptocurrencies or they don't trust them. And as a result, they continue with traditional investment tools like gold and fiat currencies. However, some other people really like to use new technologies and they want to benefit from the volatility also to make a nice profit. And their choosing becomes Bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency.

1040  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto lead to the next financial crisis? on: September 22, 2021, 10:50:09 PM
I don't think that cryptocurrencies will be the reason to cause a financial crisis in the future. The main reason could be that FED's continually printing money even without caring about it for example. It is not good to print more money than needed. This will cause your currency to devaluate and it may even lead your country to enter a bad economic condition also at some point.
