Juventus have improved their morale after having a two-win streak lately. And they won a very hard match against Lazio which should increase their self-confidence a lot. Maybe they got an embarrassing result against Chelsea like 4-0 in their last match. But I still am waiting for seeing a strong Juventus against Atalanta this weekend. As Atalanta are in a good shape, it is going to be really hard. But I wouldn't be surprised if Juventus still win.
Juventus wake up again on Serie A and back to the top poaition but last two night they destroy by Chelsea on champion league, I think loss from Chelsea 4-0 on champuon league give bad effect for Juventus on Serie A, they will need motivate again how to wake up. Exactly four loss wirh four goal from Chelsea ia very bad result from Juventus in this season on all competition.

It seems like Juventus still haven't woken up after the 4-0 loss against Chelsea.  Grin  Because they lost with a 1-0 result to Atalanta. And I still am trying to solve the mystery of how Juventus couldn't score a goal in this match. I accept that Atalanta are a strong team and I already indicated it in my previous post here. But the nonplussing thing was Juventus' just watching them win without answering them with a goal.

Liverpool and Arsenal both won their matches as most people expected. And they performed at a very high level honestly. First, Arsenal hosted Newcastle. There was an easily visible big gap between them in terms of strength. Newcastle were really terrible so far and they didn't show too much existence against Arsenal too. And it ended up with a 2-0 result. When it comes to Liverpool v Southampton, Liverpool demolished them in the first half already (by scoring 3 goals). They scored one more in the second half and it ended up with a 4-0 result. It is good to see these teams still being in a solid shape.

If Real Madrid is really able to afford both Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland their squad would be absolutely massive. I'm really curious to see if they manage to sign both players next summer. I think it's pretty certain that Haaland will leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer - whether it's really Real Madrid then remains to be seen. I think a move to Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain or FC Bayern is also possible. But Real Madrid seems the most likely.

I think that Real Madrid want to build a dream team again. And the biggest additions would definitely be Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland. Even only two of them would be more than enough for Real Madrid to become more successful in every tournament they participate in. And considering that Real Madrid aren't going to pay any transfer fee to sign Mbappe, they are going to be able to afford both of them easier. I can't even imagine what Real Madrid will do on the condition that they sign Mbappe and Haaland next summer.

We have an early game today: Los Angeles Clippers v Detroit Pistons. LA Clippers are a good team when we consider their current condition this season. But they haven't been very impressive lately as they lost three times in the last four weeks. But Pistons are far worse than them now. They lost 14 of their 18 games so far. They are really terrible and they will search for a way out in this game. Batum and Leonard are absent at Clippers. But I think they can still make use of Pistons' current condition and win it.

I watched the Manchester City v PSG match and it was quite good. I would have liked to see a better PSG in this match but I understand them too as it is really tough to have the control against Manchester City in Etihad. Manchester City had the control of the game most of the time and won by 2-1. PSG caught them by surprise as they scored first. But Manchester City still didn't back down of course and it was a well-deserved win. Congrats to them!
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: November 26, 2021, 07:10:01 PM
Real Madrid are the current leader of the La Liga and they seem to be very determined about winning the league title at the end of this season. Their big effort in each match is just amusing to watch for me. But they have a really strong opponent ahead of them two days later; Sevilla. Because Sevilla are also in a similar condition to Real Madrid now and they are two points away from Real Madrid. I have seen a quite interesting statistics like Sevilla couldn't have beaten Real Madrid in Bernabeu since 2008 in the La Liga.  Cheesy  This is also a good point to consider and I assume Real Madrid will defeat them by one goal.

The Group C is in a really interesting condition now. Considering the live standings, Bodo/Glimt are still the leader as they are winning by 1-0 vs CSKA Sofia now. And Roma are 3-0 ahead and getting a comfortable result vs Zorya Luhansk. But they are still one point behind Bodo/Glimt. This is because they were destroyed by Bodo/Glimt with an unbelievable 6-1 result away. And in the game in Italy, they drew with them by 2-2 also. Roma may not advance being at the top seemingly.

It was a meaningful night for Xavi on his first duty at Barcelona. They hosted Espanyol in Camp Nou. Especially in the second half there was a balanced game but Barcelona still became successful about winning the match by 1-0 because of Depay's penalty goal. It must be a great start for Xavi at his work here. And I've started wondering already if they will defeat Benfica in the CL in a few days also.

After a shocking result in the Watford - Manchester United match like 4-1, Ole is finally not the coach of Manchester United anymore. And the closest candidate for the position seems like Zinedine Zidane now. And honestly, it would be great to see him managing this team. I'd look forward to watching him using his full experience at Real Madrid before and applying it very nicely to this team. And it would be a great reunion for Ronaldo and Zidane after the Real Madrid adventure.

We have left two big matches behind this weekend. Firstly, Juventus became victorious with a 2-0 result against Lazio in the away match. It gave me a shock actually because I didn't even think that Juventus would be able to win this very hard match. I'm looking forward to seeing their performance in the coming weeks. And in the other big game, there was a very delightful play from each team. At the end of a tough battle, Milan finally were beaten by 4-3 and lost for the first time in the league. Maybe Milan lost by a close gap but somewhere in the match Fiorentina were 3-0 ahead. And this must be annoying for the Milan supporters surely.

Philippe Coutinho has been rumoured that he would most probably join the Newcastle side in this January. However according to the source, he doesn't have such intention right now. He wants to stay at Barcelona but his performance so far hasn't been very satisfying for anyone. And he got serious injuries here also which caused him to be even worse than before. I think that it would have been better for Coutinho to return to the EPL.

I think that the Watford vs Manchester United match could be a stay-or-go match for Ole Solskjaer. I'm even surprised now as he hasn't got sacked already. Anyway, he must benefit from his probably last chance by getting a very solid win here. Actually they can do this easily as long as they play focusedly. Watford is not a big obstacle for them. And they are even much more terrible now.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 17, 2021, 08:33:19 PM
Monaco vs Lille is the upcoming match and it is gonna be the only match of the day also. It is good to have a big match like this as an opening one. However, it is actually not that big as each team are having a season that they struggle a lot in it. They both are placed in the middle of the league table now. It is more like a draw match. But if I am to choose one of them to win, I'd prefer Monaco. And I assume each team will score a goal or more.

I wonder what will happen in the Inter - Napoli match ahead. It is one of the biggest and most important matches of the week surely. Napoli seem to be far better than Inter in the Serie A considering the results they have gotten so far. Napoli are still an unbeaten team but they will have a big difficulty in this match. Inter may be 7 points below them but they are still too strong and capable of winning the match also. I don't think they will lose and each team should be scoring.

Hamilton was just flying during the whole race yesterday. His determinance was at top levels that's for sure. But it seems like the engine change in his car really helped him a lot to take this win also. He seems to have a faster car than Verstappen for now but we never know what can happen in the remaining three races. We all know Verstappen in the end. He has a very big chance to win his first title ever in F1. I expect him to be fully focused also. And I hope to see the competition for the title continuing even in the last race.

I'm following the adventure of the Turkish teams in the tournament very closely also. Galatasaray are the best performing team between them for now. They are most probably going to finish their group as the leader. Before the matches started, honestly I thought like they would have a very tough time against Marseille and Lazio especially. And this would cause them to have a difficulty in promoting to the next round. But it looks like we are witnessing the opposite of this. I wonder how far they will be able to go.

The Group G matches today ended in a really strange way. And the results were definitely for the benefit of Turkey. Because they won easily against Gibraltar by 6-0 and it was the expected thing from Turkey to do of course. The interesting part is that Norway and Netherlands both played comfortable matches for themselves in fact but they both got draws (0-0 and 2-2 respectively). After these results, Turkey have taken the second place and they are even only two points behind Netherlands now. They have a chance for even taking the lead as Netherlands will play a home match against Norway on the last week of the group matches.

Honestly, I never expected a this much enjoyable sprint race today. If I'm not wrong, we had two sprint races so far before this one. And none of them was even a little exciting. Actually, Alonso was really good in one of them but anyway.  Grin  This one was pretty amusing thanks to Hamilton especially. As you can remember easily, he got a huge penalty as he was going to start from the last position to the sprint race and he got a 5-position grid penalty as an extra. But his determinance in the sprint race was just marvelous to watch. He climbed positions one by one and finished the session at the 5th position. It looks like a really interesting race is waiting for us. The current gap between him and Verstappen is 21 points now.
