Yep, fun to mock me out.  Fun to explain to me how I have to pop open the hood to make your shitty car run and fun to mock me because I feel entitled to a car where you just turn the key and drive off.  Big fun.

UNO is broken. That's why it is down.  Nobody buys a broken coin.  Mac users don't pop the hood any more often than Bently owners do.

Pull your heads out.

You are mocked due to your fun-loving attitude and interpersonal communication skills.

Since UNO is broken, do what any unsatisfied consumer would do: Return it to the store, take your refund and get the hell on down the road to your next adventure!

Cheers!

More of that is needed, people that are intuitive enough to search for answers. I have no qualms at all helping anyone or staying up all night if need be to help a fellow community member get their shit together. People that demand answers and have inflated senses of entitlement rarely get that luxury.

In businesses that I assist, this is a daily problem. Intuition is not the problem, it is a function of pure laziness.

Not to be too much of an old-timer, but much of the current generation growing up has never had to do anything for themselves because their helicoptor mums have done everything. Pure ignorance.

When a person expects to receive a trophy for showing up to the last football match, but has never been present at a single practice, he / she sure as hell will not be able nor willing to solve a simple problem like putting a .conf file in a directory.

what is your general advice for merchants who want to accept UNO?

is there apart from the "accepted here" button something like general instructions on "how to accept payments in UNO for a webshop / online business"?

i have a friend in taiwan who is selling herbal teas and traditional chinese medicine for bitcoin and could also consider accepting UNO. i am helping him to set up the website and would like to add UNO somehow.

i think if user-friendly ready-to-use step by step instructions could be provided for any merchants who are considering to accept UNO it would help this coin to become more popular - and useful for its users in daily life.

Also, check out:

Your business can accept UNO payments!

This processor is on our OP.

Also, just saw a tweet from shapeshift.io

Looks like they have a feature as well called the Shifty Button?

@ 5trade: welcome.

We should be referencing this development when explaining Why Kryptos?

Protonanium seems to be raising? Why?  Shocked

It's only a test coin for Uno.

Once it's get public wallet is not test net anymore! Bullshitium is the only scam in unoverse. One way or another it is feel like scam and exist as scam. I take no shit about it.
Brother Blueman, hope you are well!  Speaking of technology, have you tried the Android Wallet yet?

But what does that spell for UNO and BTC?
I do not know. Anyone that says how the grand central bank experiment will finally end is lying. No one, not even the central bankers themselves know how what they have unleashed will end.

It is curious that in some locales alternative currencies are going into more use. And not just locations like Greece for example.  Consider London:

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/londons-brixton-pound-aims-to-turn-shopping-into-financial-activism-2015-08-28

Or options in the United States:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_community_currencies_in_the_United_States

I'm always amazed at the sheer number of people who casually complain about the decrease in his / her purchasing power of each's pound, dollar, peso, colón, whatever, but never arrive at the conclusion that the causality of the decrease is theft by the respective central bank. Governments no longer need a secret police force to steal (although that still happens anyway via asset "forfeiture"), they steal in the best fashion possible through debt and currency debasement.

All of this to say, perhaps if enough people wake up to the real reason why they are falling further and further behind even though they are making a bit more money. They will begin to ask questions that you and I can answer with $UNO, PPC, Doge, whatever one's poison. Crypto, in my opinion, is not a panacea to the problem of currencies, but merely one spoke in the wheel. The more options for currency, trade and barter outside the monopoly of government, the better off the people will be.

GFC?

Edit: Did some googling, you must mean 'global financial crisis'.

Yes, the GFC is the greatest bubble the world has ever seen fueled by the largest amount of debt ever created. It simply can't end well.

The western governments know the end game. If one reviews the massive encroachment on the civil rights of the citizens in those countries, he or she will see the writing on the wall of the expected chaos. Governments will always protect themselves at the cost of the citizenry.

It's funny, really seems like $UNO doesn't pump well. Just stable. When will cyrpto people and others finally figure it out? No worries, I'll still be here then, too.

Problem is, with the GFC going into high gear, it seems no one has even woke up to that fact yet. By the time they do, it will be too late...

@IMZ I hope all is well sir, that you're visit to the hospital is routine.

Keep buying the dumps from the dumbsters.... Cheesy

I think I've seen a few references now to Dictators owning UNO, how did that joke originate?
Kim Jong UN-O

The sad irony is how free the country would be if the people had access to crypto currencies!

This should help start an $UNO bull market too:

@DPRK_News: Supreme Leader Kim Jong-Un named Best Dressed Man in Democratic People's Republic of Korea for third consecutive year http://t.co/bL13fEnZCk

Thank goodness for our Supreme Supporter!  Hope he hasn't spent too much on sporty threads to buy some more $UNO!

Wink

More proof that $UNO never goes out of style.

@Esperansa, I believe what people are saying is that constructive criticism is certainly welcome from all parties to all parties in our forum.

However, in the past, certain parties have resorted to acts of name-calling and cuss-words, which in any group or management situation is almost always counter-productive.

We certainly welcome you here, and all newcomers, for that matter. Take a minute, scan the thread, and settle in. Everyone here has a niche to fill.

A lot of people have been super ungrateful lately just because he made a really cool use-case of the testnet into a separate wallet. I for one, do not want to see HagbardCeline go anywhere or get discouraged to work on the coin due to assholes.

+1!
Exactly, when the developers work for altruistic reasons, it is helpful if we appreciate their work.

If HC wants to do a side program for testing, so be it. It is his time to spend.

If you would like to partake / learn in the side project, be a part of it. If you have no interest, remember your mother when she said that if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all... in

Good to be back after a bit of a hiatus. Looks like I missed a chance to back up the truck again.  Angry

Oh well, hate to see the price drop, but will try to get in on some of the great deals to be had.  Grin

If the rumours turn out to be true, it will be nice to have the bad mojo out of here.  Cool

Yay for $UNO to return to a more rational, steady state!

1 year goes by so fast.

Crypto stuff always happens in gluts of activity.
Congratulations on the year! Great to have all of you as part of the community!

See the Unobtanium folk talking cryptos in a Perth cafe -- 3 in person, and a fourth on the phone.

See them selling seeds for Uno.

See them examining their shiny new silver ounce coins. (Big thanks to Bitcoin Charlie for the admin. here.)

Who owns the largest address (20% of UNO)? Is it Cryptsy? If so, people should get some of their coins out of there and into secure wallets or onto other exchanges.
It is Cryptsy. I've been trying to coordinate a community withdrawal for a year.

Kill the big wallet!

HagbardCeline's new wallet working fine here.

@FK, does he have an Android wallet? That's what I was trying to get sorted out. I'm using the one from Hashengineering.

@p3yot33at3r Thanks!

@hashengineering Please help, adding those peers did not do anything to get the wallet running.

Can you please give me some suggestions? I'm sure others would be glad as well.
