Yeah, don't I get two stars for having made the first AG trade?

What sets Unobtanium apart from any other coin? Just it's rarity?
Another good feature is that many in the community have enough faith in the coin to freely convert it back and forth to precious metals. That is already occurring on two continents - North America and Australia. Check it out: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=757232I'm not too sure of other cryptos doing that.

Just put in a plug for UNO in the "What are your top 5 altcoins" thread at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=439341.new#new. There are 14 pages in that thread so far, only saw one mention of UNO besides mine. There are the usual suspects (LTC, PPC, NMC, NXT, DOGE, etc.) plus a bunch of sh*tcoins. UNO is still so way under the radar. thanks for the heads up Yes, thanks. I left a blurb on there as well...

Funnny to read the first few pages, and how almost every one of those coins in January are meaningless coins today.
I am going with
Dogecoin NXT BitcoinDark
That's a great point. If you look at what is still around, it's LTC, PPC, DOGE, NMC, FTC (barely). The $hitcoins come and go. A clearly excellent coin that few know about is Unobtanium $UNO. If you look at the coin, it had as clean of a start as possible, no pre-mine, no unfair advantages, nothing. It is extremely rare as there are only 250,000 ever to be mined. UNO has a great and active community. Wonderful developers too! There was one large pump by Wolong and then the coin declined and has been steadily growing in value ever since. Another great feature is convertibility between UNO and precious metals on the in-house exchange. You can check that our here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=757232For the long-term, UNO will be a great store of value. If you only pick up 50 or 100 of them, you'll be really glad that you did in a few years. This is definitely not a pump and dump scheme. Check it out: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527500

Curious, does anyone tweet?
It seems like a very easy way to get the word out about UNO. For example, cryptscout had posted some stats about an alt and I tweeted back about where was the info for UNO. They said they didn't cover it and then I tweeted back and forth a few more times about UNO's merits and voila! they now cover it.
I think it's also effective for getting the word out about the Blue Crypto Award. Just sending out the bit.ly link to people. It's so easy to click at that point...

Shall Benefactor receive the first two-star rating, people? (Hard won! Gotta be hard won!)

Knew I shoulda sent those AG trades overnight, just to win the prize of the first 2*

Proud to say that I nagged them into that on Twitter. Workin' it for ya!

Not to go conspiracy theory on everyone, but does anyone get the feeling that with Cryptsy's huge stash of UNO, that there are forces at work to keep UNO at an artificially low value?
I don't know if its a conspiracy, but the way it's traded at the moment is keeping the published price down. There are a lot of patient long term accumulators. There are shallow buy orders; the money pounces on any quantities that are posted right now. Buyers don't want to show their hand. The sellers are slowly leading us higher and that has opened a gap wide. Believe me, in the world of crypto, a slow and steady rise is so unheard of, it's a breath of fresh air! I wish the "speculators" maturity would rise somewhat so that buyers would recognize that value. Imagine what the market would look like if we could even get 100 new buyers of 100 UNO each? Wow! I really hope people begin to realize that the stability of UNO is a great factor! Also, convertibility to AG on the UNO-Ex is a pretty cool feature as well!

That'd be great. I'm just trying to think of populations that should know about UNO, and how we can communicate with them...even if it's just a thread that links here.
Also, did you get my message about the picture?

how long does one have to wait for at least a single coin being dumped on mintpal? Happens once a week or twice, right? Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Wären Sie daran interessiert Moderation eines Deutsch-Seite über UNO sein?

If you're serious about a long term play, please check out UNO. It's listed on several exchanges. Pick up 100 and forget that you have them. It's the crypto you keep!

Except for Unobtanium, all visa-free travel destinations for South African citizens?

No sir, not too late. The offer was 10.75 UNO for 1 troy ounce .999 AG shipped to US address, settled at 10.25 UNO...your thoughts?
That seems reasonable to me. I am perfectly fine with just one, but would like four really. Sir, I appreciate your interest. with that 4 troy ounce mass increasing the postage, I would need to bump the price just a bit to 4 troy ounce .999 AG shipped to US address for 42 UNO. Please let me know your thoughts. If we do a trade, it will likely ship tomorrow, unless something in my schedule frees up later this afternoon... PM me if interested... Pm sent! This sounds good to me. Edit: I sent ya the uno! I will post again when i get my precious! 42 UNO received, will send AG tomorrow...

I re-re-re-crunched the numbers last night. Of the Top Sixty Coins on Coinmarketcap, only one -- Mona Coin -- is 'above the mark' since Bitcoin's inflection point of April 10.
But Unobtanium is number two . . . and it is better established, and it is uniquely stable. There is no better 'home coin.'

Agreed, I need to read your above post. Sorry for the delay!

Hah, i was in the same boat with block erupters and uno! The Coinex trollbox sold me on the coin back then. It was fun. I wasn't ballsy enough to sell, or i was too greedy to sell when wolong was hitting hard. Regerts? Naw, still don't have any. I do agree, that markets are harder to manipulate when they are spread among a number of exchanges. The coin is established though, nearing a year, which is an eternity for most coins. Uno is unique in a lot of ways. We will see what happens! I stole someones signature I hope it is alright! I saw it and thought it is a cool idea to try to rep uno a little. If ya want me to change it lemme know! I'm absolutely down with your sig, broski! Everyone should be promoting the Blue Crypto Awards! Check this out on my tweet: If you're on Twitter, it's easy to tweet about the award to get the word out. Also, give some props to Altcoin Trader for the retweet...15k followers, sweet!
