361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes hodlers make on: May 07, 2019, 10:29:28 AM
That's a lesson I learnt overtime since I start investing in crypto and Bitcoin, specially.

When we hold for long term, we are not interested too much on medium short-medium term price. Or, a better option would be to establish some price targets and once it has been reached, too get the profits, no matter when this happens. (short-medium-long term)

362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is not that bad as stated on: May 07, 2019, 10:27:09 AM
IEO has at least 2 reasons to be better than ICO:
 - there is a 3rd party validator for the project (Exchange)
 - you know for sure the first exchange where the project will be listed. This can help you to decide if it worth investing or not
363  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is This The Last Time To Buy Bitcoin Cheap on: May 07, 2019, 10:25:29 AM
Never say never, specially in crypto market. Nobody knows how the price will evolve in the future, so this could not be the last chance to buy cheap Bitcoin.

However, as a new halving is expected next year, most probably the price will increase.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trading Above $5,500 Could Prepare Bitcoin For Mega Upward Movement – Analyst on: May 07, 2019, 10:23:31 AM
To confirm a potential bull run I think Btc will need to stay above 6000$ for at least one month.

This will give some more confidence to new investors as this is what crypto market needs to start a strong bull run.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO Profitable than ICO's? on: May 06, 2019, 06:04:48 AM
Not sure if IEO is more profitable than ICO, but it's much more safe.

Instead of having a simple Whitepaper with a nice story inside, as it usually happens with ICOs, the selection process for IEO is more restrictive a d this will eliminate a lot of scams from the market.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mass-adopted of crypto on: May 06, 2019, 06:00:46 AM
Only way I feel cryptocurrency will boom is if bigger companies start accepting it. Some banks dislike crypto. Governments are also starting to crack down. Not everyone is paying tax on it lol. So it is very risky. For bitcoin start with small amounts and learn how to trade or use bitcoin loan websites that help sitting bitcoin grow.
367  Economy / Speculation / Re: People who bought BITCOIN at $1000 are now starting to sell, CCN article writes on: May 06, 2019, 05:57:33 AM
The best part about bitcoin is that in case it hits it big even a small investment can pay off so much it can become a fortune in a number of years from now.Of course it would be stupid to get loans, sell your property or do anything drastic, but buying some with a small fraction of your savings may be worth it. If it dies, it dies...

Not a big deal. definitely buying little bit more over the time and forgetting about it for a few years. Investing what you can afford to loose there is a key IMO, like in anything else. Might be a chance of a lifetime.
368  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realistic Predictions for Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2019, 05:53:23 AM
The bitcoin and crypto market in general is so volatile that it's hard to predict the price.

Personally, until bitcoin get implemented to a stage where you can use it effectively in every day life, I do not think it will grow any further. The dream is dead.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can ETH reach $200 after the upgrade on: May 03, 2019, 06:07:12 AM
If Ethereum exceeded 1000$ in 2017 without any major improvement,  I'm pretty sure that 200$ is a threshold eth can exceed in the future without too much difficulty.

When staking will go live, people will be more likely to keep their eth instead of selling it and this will increase the price.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stopped trading. 3 reasons why. on: May 03, 2019, 06:03:27 AM
The amount of money you can get from playing crypto games is insignificant compared to what you can earn from trading.

However,  trading is not for everyone and involves a lot of knowledge and stress resistance.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Can Now Buy Movie Tickets Using Bitcoin In Brazil on: May 03, 2019, 06:00:10 AM
I'm glad to see that every day we discover new option to use Bitcoin.

More and more merchants will accept Btc as a payment option,  specifically when network lightning will be fully operational.
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should bitcoin be limited to 21 million? on: May 03, 2019, 05:57:17 AM
Limiting Bitcoin to 21 million will definitely conserve its price overtime as this will avoid the hyperinflation.

Also, with less and less Btc remained to be mined and with new halvings coming,  the rewards from mining should decrease and this will help the price, too. Basically,  you mine less btc, but a more valuable one.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: May 02, 2019, 06:05:27 AM
Product/service/platform is the most important part of a project.

Without having a real product or answering to a basic need, anything else is just pure speculation.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic selling! Yes or No? on: May 02, 2019, 06:03:32 AM
Panic selling was never a good idea and won't be in the future, either.  When you panic sell, you might take the worst decisions you can do as an investor.

Basically,  when you panic sell, you just bought high and sell low.
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is a Bitcoin Millionaire on: May 02, 2019, 06:01:32 AM
Whoever's invested 100$ in Bitcoin in early 2010 and hild their investment untill today is now a millionaire.

Usually people don't scream on the street they are millionaires.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy apple iphone with the Bitcoin ? on: May 02, 2019, 05:58:30 AM
Today there are bot that many merchants that accept Bitcoin as a payment option,  as transactions are rather slow.

However,  when network lightning will be fully operational many others will accept Btc for daily purchases.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when cryptocurrencies can be used to buy basic needs? on: May 01, 2019, 04:11:51 AM
To buy basic needs we need to see 2 key points:
- crypto stronger mass adoption for price stability
- network lightning fully implemented for transactions speed and scalability
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: May 01, 2019, 04:09:26 AM
Most bounty programs do not pay at all as they never reach at least the softcap, or they dissapear just before ICO to start. I did not have a great experience for last bounties.

On the other side, trading is not for everyone. It involves a lot of knowledge, patience, risk and you really need to be good at it to make some profit.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Mining Still Viable? on: May 01, 2019, 04:05:28 AM
Not after end of 2017 when price decreased constantly. It depends on how cheap/expensive the electricity is.

In most of the countries mining is no longer profitable and it might become attractive at a price of 6500-7000 $.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining would bring back excessive profit? on: May 01, 2019, 04:02:57 AM
Bitcoin mining is no longer profitable since more than one year. Equipment became more expensive and mining difficulty increased over time.

Next year will be a new halving,  meaning that rewards will diminish, too.
