361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is mining and TRADING THE SAME on: October 08, 2017, 07:01:01 PM
Mining and trading are risky to do but mining is much more riskier because mining can cause you a fortune and it's not actually profitable like even miners can advise you not to do so.

Your logic is absurd. It is true that Bitcoin mining needs a lot of initial investment. You need to set up mining rigs, electricity connection, cooling systems and such. And even after all this, there is no guarantee that your venture will be profitable. But trading is also a very risky thing to do. You need a large initial investment for trading as well.
trading can easily be done aa long as we have coins and idea to do trading unlike in mining to be able to earn we need to invest first on expensive computers to do so,but both surely worth doing.
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will a new type of Token or Coin replace Bitcoin completely? on: October 08, 2017, 03:26:51 PM
maybe. If bitcoin remains like this is not impossible there will be new coins that will outperform bitcoin. now we know that the ethereum in call mention will replace bitcoin position someday. but we will not know what's going on in the future, maybe there's a great new coin that can beat ethereum and can outperform bitcoin.
As we can see on August hatdfork, bch didn't even rung for long, it was just made on split but didn't performed well, still btc gains more success after that. But we don't know what the nwe hatd fork can make yet.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eBTC. What do you think about it? on: October 08, 2017, 09:08:45 AM
I think it's another coin, which hope make some hype with BTC in the name. And eBTC did it!But now price was dumped and eBTC do not need anyone no more.
It will be like BCH, that will  pump at soe point then when it dips, it will be hard to recover . It will be good for trading but not for holding, since more coins connected to every btc correction will be produced.
364  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country are you from? Here list THIRTY popular bitcoin countries for trade on: October 07, 2017, 04:29:53 AM
It really good that to see my country Philippines is in number 31. This is a good news to all Filipinos especially who invest in bitcoin, and it spread in my country. Its shows that here in my country are already popular and they believe. Because they need some extra income and want to spread also knowledge about bitcoin. I believe that Philippines will on the highest top, because people interested in bitcoin. That's makes proud that Philippines was included in the list.

Everyday new users were attract to invest in bitcoin, my workmates been into btc since they heard and research it, Filipinos were easy to convince as long as we show them aome proofs that we can actually really earn on it.

368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if another altcoin surpasses BTC in value? on: October 02, 2017, 12:55:27 PM
What will you do if some altcoin (XMR or ETH for example surpasses the value of BTC, either in market cap or by the price of a token each? Will you sell your BTC to buy the more "valuable" coin, or continue using and holding BTC? Also, what do you think are the chances that it could happen? I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions.
i think it never happen but similar to bitcoin atleast ,if that will happen i think i will go to high value coin and invest a little in bitcoin then try to be expert in new coin like i search wallet or anything to know the new coins high than bitcoin

What do you understand by the term "Altcoin "? The new coin you're talking about is an Altcoin and so no new coin can be another Bitcoin even if their operations are similar and uses the blockchain as well.
Even there are altcoins or maybe the coins from splits, like BCH will not surpass btc value, btc can recover from downs. Btc will always be the superior among any coins.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: September 27, 2017, 11:02:43 PM
All governments and central banks are against cryptos.
I think we will see a lot of turbulence in bitcoin. Does anyone sells VIX options on cryptosGrin

I agree with that and we cant deny the fact China is one of biggest contributor in bitcoin as well as in worldwide economy in which they hold big percentage of annual improvement of income and transactions when we are talking about money, but I dont believe that bitcoin is dead without China, it is still functional, people can still exchange and invest here but we should accept that when they banned bitcoin in their place bitcoin's price dump at 10% which is totally disturbing in exchanges and transactions here, people who hold bitcoins gets alarm and immediately transfer almost half of their earning into their country's currency but still bitcoin is slowly taking its price and I believe it will still be functional.
No doubt China rules the market and 80 percent of bitcoin trading was done in that land. After is banning everything related to crypto coins, there was chaos everywhere and the prices fell down? However, China put on such show in 2013 also. Bitcoins were able to survive then and they will make through this tough time also. Nothing can stop the unstoppable.
They might just making some Fud to get the opportunity to buy more and once they think they already hold enough they might return on business track, everything now is for show , we never know what they will do next. So be consistent on our decisions when we are deciding for buying and selling it.
370  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Scam Sites that use Bitcoin on: September 27, 2017, 10:59:02 PM
That is because bitcoin never leave finger prints, so everybody is able to scam using it, so that is why there are so many ponzies, revshares, scam sites, or those shops in which you were scammed.
So it is not your fault, but maybe you could research a little bit more about that site, just because you lost $750 dollars on it, and that is a very huge amount ot money, i would be almost die if that happened to me.

Frauders were always around, be sure to check the websites address before putting any identity and logins some were making websites as if similar especially when it comes from social media, see the details of the webites as well as if asking info unrelated ,be conscious.
371  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin successfully defeated China on: September 27, 2017, 10:53:55 PM
The price is starting to be good at $3,800 and basically this means that we are able to overcome the Chinese drama's and FUDs of Jamie Dimon.

Bitcoin did overcome but I won't consider that it is successfully defeated China. There's no competition with China or something like that.

It's just their gov't tries to regulate bitcoin.

The issue with jp morgan is probably over but the chinese fiasco i think isn't over just yet. There are still exchanges running and people trading there and the government hasn't cracked down on everything yet but bitcoin has shown resiliency so whatever happens in china likely won't have that big effect of btc anymore

Not that really over, I don't know if this person Jordan Belfort the wolf of wall st is a dog of JP Morgan Chase Ceo Jamie Dimon.

As he's supporting the statement of Dimon about bitcoin being a fraud.

And for the Chinese issues about ban of exchange it's just going to happen for awhile as there are news around there it will be off after the communist congress election there.
China might remove the ban when thwy realised how much they missed in they can earn in investing in ICO and on some exchanges. I believe they juat want the btc to dips to got the opportunity to buy, as well as those guys who will buy btc too when they succeeded on making FUD again
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 27, 2017, 10:43:27 PM
That is acceptable only if employer will calculate salary in USD and pay accordingly to BTC/USD price.

And I'd be willing to negotiate my payment in BTC without it being calculated every month. This means that If we agreed to something like 0.5 BTC a month, i'd be getting it until the end of my contract, regardless of the value in USD. I'm a believer, so that would be great for me. If it fell a bit I'd end up saving more every month, and if it went up like crazy, I'd have a lot more purchasing power.

This would be the ideal system where it would be worth receiving a salary in bitcoins. It would entail its risks, but also its advantages. However, according to what has been seen in the signatures campaigns, the natural tendency is still to use the BTC/USD quote as a reference when calculating payments, which I do not think is the most appropriate thing in the bitcoin ecosystem, and I hope one day we can overcome this unnecessary habit.
if we employer will pay in such usd amount into btc, maybe such employer qill just tell why bothered? Why will add a new activity that may cause delay and error to their company. They will just used our fiat that keep on putting an amount that is unstable. But if its a company wherein all employees are btc user then it can be considered.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs scam? on: September 27, 2017, 10:39:34 PM
I do not thing that ICOs are scam. So far i never heard that some one has been scammed. But it would be wise to do a bit of research before investing in anything. I think there are some really good ICOs out there, it is only up to you to find what you want and which is best for you. At the end, i guess the only question is will it succeed or not. Chose wisely.

Uncontrolled speculation is the basis of every ICO, they only offer projects that may not have been all-time-tested. The risks are huge but all can be overcome by escrow participation in their sales. This year many ico are responsible, if they do not touch the soft cap then the funds will be refunded back to investors. I never thought about the possibility of scam because I just think of it as a lottery.
Some ICO's were not totally scam they just failed in reaching even their soft cap, they indeed return the investor investment. Sometimes those potential project that are much interesting failed due to the high requirements on getting their cap ans too many ICO to decide where we can invest.
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: How MUCH will the FINAL BTC be WORTH? on: September 27, 2017, 10:27:58 PM
I can't say the final worth of BTC now because there is no fixed price of BTC. We all know that its price was changing every moment. The only thing we do is to wait for its price to rise. We can only predict and speculate its final price but we can't assure that price. I think its price last with its maximum value soon.
no yeah of course , bitcoin value could up unlimitedly. and dropped drastically , for now it's a big risk investment with its very high value. circulating money like bitcoin won't have final price! take a look to fiat , all of them keep moving even for just 1 point or so. and bitcoin itself volatile , means you can't expect bitcoin has the stable or highest price and then won't increased / grow again.
No one knows how much will ot be, it depends on btc users adaption and demand as well as the uses. Too much volatile of btc wil not result having an final price whenever btc volume reached, the prixe will still move.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: September 27, 2017, 03:46:14 PM

Recently, some promising ICO projects such as AVENTUS were sold out quickly, but the price is still below the ICO price, so I think it is better to buy some cheap token after the ICO is over, especially after the bounty tokens are distributed.
Since bounty hunters will easily sold it after distribution,  when it could be a good chance for us to justify t save or hold it and act as oue savings since we didn't put capital on it yet maybe they have reasons too.
376  Economy / Speculation / Re: when will bitcoin prove its true prosperity and take on full beast mode? on: September 27, 2017, 03:43:20 PM
millennial's are the biggest investors and supporters obviously, but bitcoin has to reach a level of financial prosperity to somewhat the fullest eventually...will it make our kids rich? Grandkids? Great Grand Kids? Aliens or Martians to that far extent?

Personally, I don't think Bitcoin will ever become as huge as people here think it will be. I think it will become much bigger but I doubt it will be the case where even 1/10 of people use it. I also doubt that it will rise over 10x in a year, I think the rise will be a lot more gradual.
]
If bitcoin always developing gradually and improve by the time it's possible. people back then think bitcoin is useless and just like a dust but see now, its price rallying like crazy.
One my biggest fear is that there's new technology to replace bitcoin while bitcoin become obsolete.
Which is impossible to happen at this moment,  since there are not much cryptos who are showing potentials on being a replacement unless there's. Somw new which when released will be that popular already.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which alt coin should i buy today on: September 27, 2017, 02:17:25 PM
The best tip is go to coinmarketcap.com then choose altcoin with a huge negative percentage gain. Choose only on the coin listed on top 100. You click also button for "volume 24hrs" to sort it out.

My advice is to buy ICN and ETT. They are currently in dip but soon will pump due to upcoming upgrade.

379  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 4oz .9999 Gold NastyFans Minted Seats on: September 27, 2017, 02:09:52 PM
how much is the estimated prize for that shiny gold coin? Shocked

Not sure I understand the question, but the post above yours has a link to a coin’s address where you can see it’s distributions.
What I mean is what is the cost for minting this 4oz gold coin. And your selling price for it. This is the most beautiful gold coin I ever see.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ▶️🔥▶️[ANN] PLAY. Proof-of-PLAY | NO ICO | FREE DISTRIBUTION | DONOR BONUS▶️🔥▶️ on: September 27, 2017, 01:57:04 PM
How come does this project has no ICO while it has available pre sale of coins? What also the benefits for minig this coin? Any future exchange listing plan. Huh

Hey MintCondition - the tokens are not available for presale. The idea is - there is a pool of "supplement tokens" that are created with each proof-of-play. Before the game starts and after the game ends - users are free to donate to a non-profit that fights for privacy. As a little bonus, the supplement token pool gets distributed across the donators.

To see the benefits of the token and what you can do with it in the future. We created a blog posts - that summarizes the ideas in the whitepaper and on the roadmap - have a look - if you have any further questions - feel free to ask Smiley

https://medium.com/play4privacy/why-it-makes-sense-to-donate-ether-to-get-play-tokens-1cb6272f3a8d
Now I see. You give only token of appreciation for people who donate for the project. I think it is a good for of token distribution rather than ICO. Now I fully understand what this coin all about. I will try it for some time and mine coin.
What exchange are your target for listing??
