given that the first 100 blocks are zero reward do you guys reckon i should bother pursuing solo mining to start with? my pc is 2x 12 core e5 xeons, dont sure if it will be worth solo, any advice much appreciated.

Same resources here, i'll try by pool since the very beginning , my personal choice why are you going to try pool if you don#t mind me asking? There are too much interest in this coin ,so much processing power out there ready to fire, to be honest my resources are not too big and , plus the first 100 empty blocks, everyone is going to be ready to mining when the first coins appear. Very true just think 1 block from solo mining may make it worth it. |

using daemon will be more efficient, I don't know how many percent, but without GUI is better hi mate thanks for the reply, sorry i'm not very technical, what is daemon, can i solo mine using that without the wallet?
