UPDATE:
I have the first 50 coins assembled but opening all the Airtite cases ripped up my finger nails (literally, there is bleeding under several of my fingernails) so I will have to take a break from assembling for a few days in the mean time I will begin working on the Certificates of Authenticity.

How will users know the address of each coin?
Also I assume these coins are without face value and operate more like silver wallets?
Each coin comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that will have the public address AND QR code on it and you are correct the First Edition coins do not have a Face Value attached Just a suggestion: Having the address somewhere visible on the coin itself will make it much less of a hassle should an owner of a coin loser their COA which has the address associated with it. As far as I can tell the only distinction is the number on the hologram to help figure out (on your end) should a COA go missing at some point, to determine the coin address. Just some thoughts. Noted, problem was to make custom holograms with the "window" all the hologram manufacturers I spoke to wanted $3000 - $5000 just for custom dies which is money I don't have, and If I had each coin number sequentially that would have been another few hundred per coin because each coin would have required its own mould, If you know ways around these two issues I am open to suggestions, thanks Numbering coins in a relatively cost effective manner would be via an engraving machine. This would remove having to make a new die for each coin and would allow you to do it for future coin runs should you create any new lines of coins. I'm not sure what you budget is but that might be an avenue to look into. AHHHHH good Idea I can look into it that would be MUCH more cost effective then an individual die for each coin

i admire Xosihc for his efforts for the MN fair.. i'm very cautious tho of barabbas suddenly asking for donations for vericoin world day..
No donations will be received by me, haven't you read. Now, since the devs through effects now SUPPORT the idea, I am quite confused here. If they support it, I am in 110%, I don't care who wants to take bragging rights. But please, set a wallet Doug so people can send donations. I will continue asking for much needed donations but once again, so it is very clear, the donations to the address that the devs set. And yes, Doug the idea was, precisely, those regional leaders. The current ones -if they do exist- and above all the ones in the future. I am very, very fucking tempted to send this thing to hell after the usual idiocy prevalent, but if you guys support it, once again, I will be on. No, the day before 9/11 is NOT a good idea. I believe the August 30 is doable and great. I don't care if Xosihc wants to believe that whatever good that comes from it is because the MN fair event and all the bad that may ever happen to humanity is because of the World Vericoin Day. I dont give a fuck. But ideally it should be on the 30th. No reason not to. Hey man, I'm not trying to start a war with you. It was just earlier tonight I said "I thought we were very much the same in how we think". I think we all have the same goal in mind, to make VRC as best of a coin as possible? Yes? So lets please try to work together... i support the World Vericoin Day, I just think its better if donations are handled by the devs.. thats all.., in any way i can- promoting to friends, acquaintances, bringing in new investors, 1 out of 2 i talk to are willing to invest. lets focus on bringing VRC nearer to non-crypto folks… Donations could be sent to the VeriFund......

I'm 100% open to any and all ideas. I think the tough part right now is raising money for the chips. If you can find someone to buy them all and ship them to me, I'll be more than happy to pass them out When i have my engraver (within 2 weeks the email says) i could engrave some plastic coins too, if you have an idea, shoot me & i will see what i can do. Well whatever we can pull together before 8/30/14 I am 100% on board with. Hopefully you'll get the engraver in time to make something sweet and get it to MN before that Saturday. [/quote] $2.25 per chip @ 50 chips or $2.05 per @ 100 with a production time of 8 days. I am tapped out and cannot afford it, but if anyone else wants to pick up the tab then I can put you into contact with the manufacturer.

Hey as far as the MN state fair goes there is a guy making Vericoin poker chips you could get them for $2 - $2.50 a piece if you want to pass them out at the fair, he has a quick production time so I could check on it
