Pic
Thanks alam, too many wonky weird things happening on the forum lately, can never be too sure! It's a good idea to always post your own photos or at least say that they are not your own photos to clear up any misunderstandings. Good luck with your sale.
362  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Crypto Cardano Coin 🚀 on: December 30, 2019, 04:10:42 AM
The coin picture is little blurry. Can you put the coin on a white paper and on the white paper you will write "this is my coin". After that you take a pic of the coin and paper.  Smiley
I ask because I found your pictures on another website! I want to know you have this coin and are just not flipping it.
363  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING]MinerJones Impersonator on: December 29, 2019, 07:36:01 PM
The Collectibles section has moved from username and date beside coin to most recent block / last 6 to 8 digits from the hash. Scammers will evolve so we are continuing to staying one step ahead.
364  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] BTCC 1 BTC Artist Proof on: December 27, 2019, 02:39:11 PM

Thanks. I contacted him.  Smiley

I thought you were going to stop creating threads every day like this? Make ONE thread and list EVERYTHING you are looking for. I'm going to start reporting your topics and posts as spam if you keep this up. Roll Eyes

He already has one that he bumps here

He's just excited newbie that doesn't read the rules and doesn't take advice and has an inbox full of "your post has been removed by a bitcointalk moderator" and can't quite figure out what he's doing wrong.

I'm almost not convinced these coins exist. Two auctions for them and both have used stock photos of coin 1.
Also mine haven't arrived yet and I'm dying to see what they look like (aside from stock photos)

i teegumes, I can confirm that chibitcty is not scamming. I won this coin in auction end of November (reference link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5201615.0) and have received the coin this week. maybe takes a little bit longer, but all legit and trustworthy!

368  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ₿ 💰 [AUCTION] 10 USA CANADA AUSTRALIA RARE COINS - SUPER STARTING BID 💰 ₿ on: December 24, 2019, 03:01:20 PM
Have these been tested by any sort of precious metal analyzer? At premiums like this I'd expect proof/a CoA/and an airtite.
How were these handled when taking the pictures?
369  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ₿ 💰 [AUCTION] 10 USA CANADA AUSTRALIA RARE COINS - GO GET THEM 💰 ₿ on: December 24, 2019, 02:45:47 PM
I do not know how much one ounce silver is? Plus coins are old.
Com on guys these are silver coins. Give me some credits.

Credit for being too lazy to google "how much is one ounce of silver"??

Why no Christmas deal for us? Open heart alamjob

Are these coins actually rare? What is the mintage on them? Or do you not know that either?

Another day another bullshit no research done alamjob239 thread that will probably be cancelled. Nice.
371  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Wtb something interesting for 28$ via btc on: December 22, 2019, 09:12:11 PM
Herbert_kopf has been caught trying to impersonate OgNasty as escrow on telegram. Thread here.
Do not do $28 of business with this man.

A recent influx of new members to the Collectibles section has brought in scammers with them as the newbies have shown themselves to be easy pickins. Seems like the trust section of the scammers are filled with one or two successful deals to gain a limited amount of trust/confidence and then they strike. I'm sure this would have turned from $28 into something a little more significant in the $100+ range. Careful out there friends.
372  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] [S2-BAR-DIY] Casascius Gold Bearer Bar on: December 18, 2019, 11:09:44 PM
Sold to Otoh for 2 BTC. I will update this thread with any updates about this transaction

Maybe end the ebay listing now that it is sold? Huh

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-Casascius-Gold-Plated-Bearer-Bar-1-Bitcoin-BTC-with-all-forks/274129841428

Yes, we have agreed a deal, please remove this listing rather than reduce the asking price on it as you've just done!

Reduced by GBP 1,400.00
Red flag #1 - eBay listing still up
Red flag #2 - eBay listing price being manually updated

OP you're very very lucky to have Otoh buying an item from you. This isn't a maybe sale, it's one of the easiest safest sales you could ever have.
Stop the shady behavior.

374  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2016 Titan Physical Bitcoins for sale - Silver and 24k Gold on: December 18, 2019, 04:10:19 AM
If he puts 2020 on the hologram,  I don't see how there is an issue with that. Maybe a buyer funded coin like smoothie. Plus I don't think there were gold version of the 2014 titan coin only brass.

Tim can display 2020 on the hologram to prevent any confusion I would love to have the 2014 gold version. You make some great coins.

You can buy as many as you want of the gold 2014 from the seller.

Tim and his company don't need to be involved in that sale.

Thanks!

Maybe we can load some with 0.1BTC, some with 0.005BTC and maybe some with 0.15151BTC too as long as we put that on the hologram too! Mismatching front and back is so random I just love it! Maybe have ovals where we can fill in the year too!

These coins are gonna end up looking like this

375  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Titan Mint Gold Coins For Sale 2014 and 2016 on: December 17, 2019, 11:24:28 PM
It would also be nice if Tim/Titan would update their website for the coins they have distributed. This is a cause of a good deal of frustration attempting to confirm a loaded value of a Titan coin, and date, then getting an error stating not found.

Please PM me here with the coin ID that you're having trouble with?

The 2017 Tenths for sure.... I'm guessing they would be the later funded ones.

Leave this sales thread alone. Head over to the other TitanBTC thread I bumped.
376  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2016 Titan Physical Bitcoins for sale - Silver and 24k Gold on: December 17, 2019, 11:21:21 PM
These represent a significant percentage of the mintage for these two coins, which is why I am open to uniquely accommodating this sale.  The holograms' authenticity and their intact status is the primary security for these coins (I have yet to see a hologram replica of our coins).  These holograms will show the first digits of their public key, and still link to a page verifying they are authentic and linking to the blockchain transaction that funded them.

It's weird you're in the Collectible business and don't understand that over time these intact coins become more rare due to a lot of them being peeled. The long term holder's coins grow in value as they have risked leaving the bitcoin on the coin (are we going to hit $0 tomorrow) in the hopes that others with weak hands have peeled their coins. Normally you have unpeeled/peeled but now for maybe the first time ever in this space we are supposed to price in some "used to be peeled but aren't no more?" coins?

There's nothing wrong with an unpeeled and a peeled secondary market. This "restoring" you are offering is absolutely an unnecessary service provided by your company. Your coins are damn near one of the highest/most prolifically faked collectibles coming out of China. You open up an extra attack vector and the only person that loses is the people that have trusted your coins for this long.

To me this looks like a cash grab. You take your money made from reholo'ing these and the people holding the original coins pay the price. Christmas lookin real good this year kids, Daddy's got a new job.
377  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2016 Titan Physical Bitcoins for sale - Silver and 24k Gold on: December 17, 2019, 10:39:28 PM
Tim from TitanBTC has offered to restore peeled coins. I find this to be against everything collectible.

2) Restored coins. Tim the president of Titan Mint is willing to restore these coins and reload them with a new hologram and load a bitcoin onto them. Price for the restored coins will be $100 over spot gold + the BTC price currently $8173 per coin plus shipping. These restored coins will be loaded only with bitcoin and will not have any of the multiple fork coins BSV, BCH, ect that have branched off over the years.

I don't think coin makers should do this.

The coins will be clearly loaded with bitcoin in 2020 not 2014. That may effect resale value compared to ones that have not been reloaded. They are beautiful coins. I think its better they get recirculated back into the community rather then melted down.

I anticipate most of these will get melted down due to a lack of demand in a general bear market for BTC which is ok as I just need to extract the gold value. However, I wanted to give the community a chance at them first if there is interest.

You don't need to argue the merit of whether this is proper or not. Just think, somewhere out there someone that works in a scam coin shop in China is watching the interaction here.. they make some of their gold plated/titan fakes and load them up with 2020 bitcoin. There are already many TitanBTC fakes out there, this would totally end the resale market for any of their coins.

Sorry for disrupting your sale, I will continue this in the TitanBTC thread. I think you should go with option 1 and leave it at that. Many people like to pick up gold at spot/just over around here.
