361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin: constellations POW *CPU* HARD FORK successful, world record on: March 13, 2018, 05:43:02 PM

polo states the following

https://imgur.com/a/HQ1W9

if you know gatra i guess he should contact polo....no?

I believe that's Polo's default maintenance message. The same message appeared when BTC and other coins were down for maintenance last week.

The sad part is, they literally only need to restart their node. It's possible that they are just extremely slow at doing anything, which has been the case with Polo for quite some time.

slow is not enough as a word to describe poloniex speed on several issues/procedures. the words super slow replay or bradypus, the Three-toed sloth suit the case much better.

They are a pain in the ass to put it mildly. I am curious what Goldman Sachs will make out of Poloniex. The first thing they have to do is increase customer support.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Crypterra - How about island for mining? on: March 13, 2018, 05:36:24 PM
For the way you described it seems like you do not depend on any government nor are regulated by one. This is not real as you do not own and gobern your islands and are subject of any state regulations that may arise, how can you make sure the government will not alter the project timeline and what guarantee you can give to your investors?
Good day.

Yes, you are right to maintain complete autonomy is aт utopia and we do not claim that it is possible.
But at the moment we are negotiating with lawyers from three different countries.
These countries are either very loyal to the mining as such or are directly interested in investing in crypto-economics.
The bottom line is that we plan to start from one island to develop it into the network. And then we will not depend on the legislation of one country.
Thank you for your questions.

If you are negotiating with lawyers from different countries, shouldn't the goal be to sign a long-term contract with them to have certainty for your investors and for yourself?
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO]🚀🚀 Bazista - E-Commerce Democratization!🚀🚀 on: March 13, 2018, 05:29:08 PM
I congratulate the team on the successful Iso. please tell me when you plan to launch the application for phones?

First version for IOS will become available early next year

Do not you think that the development will be going too slowly now? There are a lot of different products that provide similar functions already in the alpha testing and launch phase. You are planning to release a mobile app only next year. After all, everyone knows that now more purchases are made from phones than from desktops.

Is this statement true? Depending on the type of product, I would say I still make most purchases via a desktop computer. Of course that doesn't count for in-app purchases and alike but for most other things it's still the desktop for me. Any statistics at hand someone?
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM - PRE NOTICE on: March 13, 2018, 05:23:41 PM
It's alive  Shocked

From what I understand ..this coin is based on DASH ..thus they are waiting for the Dev's of DASH to make some fixes to the code

before they move on and release Helium? Is that the crux of the issue now? If so anyone have any idea of a timeline just on the DASH fix?

thanks, just trying to put this in some kind of perspective/timeline

brad

Isn't this a really bad sign for HELIUM itself then? Whenever there is a bug or some issue with the code that requires an update or a fix, this community has to wait for DASH developers to act? Or am I misunderstanding this?
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Torgim-B2B E-commerce SAAS platform on blockchain on: March 13, 2018, 05:22:12 PM
Some on the contrary start to invest when they see interest from other investors.

I agree, it causes great interest of other participants. And the amount of initial investment increases the level of interest, so often projects emphasize the importance of fees for private sales and pre-sales.

Some projects decide to not show any details which I think doesn't make a good impression on future potential investors.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ⚡ ZEEX ⚡ ⚡ CRYPTO TO PRODUCT ⚡ NO FIAT, NO FEES ⚡ on: March 13, 2018, 05:19:50 PM
Where did the platform get it's revenues if using this has no fees at all? How could it stand and remain operational if you never charge the users with some fees? Your concept is good but it must be adopted locally in some countries to be use in shopping with their local brands or stores.

Zeex gets its revenues from retailers in exchange for a distribution platform. Because of our parent company, Zeek, we already have deals with big companies like Amazon and Nike, and smaller companies like Sainsbury in the UK. We are also looking locally to integrate so that more small companies can list their offerings through us. The full list of retailers can be found on Zeek.me

Hope that helps Smiley

How does it get its revenues from retailers? Is there a cut that you keep for yourself per product sold or is it that those companies use your platform / software and pay for that? Do they have to lock up tokens to use your service (which would then drive demand)?

You call your blockchain 4th generation blockchain. I would be interested in your description of a first, second, third and fourth generation blockchain to see what your reasoning was behind calling your distributed ledger the generation. Would be much appreciated if you find the time to talk about that in your own words.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: March 13, 2018, 05:14:02 PM
Guys how many coins per day are you able to get with your phones? With my S9 I manage to get 4ETN/s lol? Let's make a quick comparison.

With the very low price of Electroneum I prefer buying it then mining it, it's not worth mining it right now when all you can get is just 4 ETN that only worth 20 cents and you are mining the whole day, I wonder how many people are mining Electroneum.

But mobile phone mining will make involve more people into this project. It depend on the people choice if you are not interested than you have your own choice but I think this network will keep growing more strong.

As it allows anyone to quickly participate and earn some tokens I also believe that this will help growing the community.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO LIVE]◄ ♛ 🔥 Shift your car title into cash. 🔥 ♛ on: March 13, 2018, 05:13:22 PM
The project fees are not bad. But what is the use of blockchine? what will it give? And where will your offices be? it is hardly possible to carry out the work if there is no office

Since there will be offices from around the globe as for how they plan it the blockchain will be the best technology that they can use for faster and transparent transactions between offices and to its future borrowers.
This is what distinguishes this project from the similar one, but local ones. I'm glad that an alternative may appear and we can take loans instantly using our personal vehicles. Therefore, I will follow the news of this project
There is no similarity with Shiftcash platform it is completely unique and highly potential with a loan scope to serve the people in a better way comparing to the banking technologies.

Since they focus on cars only they will develop a much better expertise than any competing service that focuses on turning any physical asset into a backed loan. That can give them huge advantageous in regards to the value judgments over time.

with new ideas and nothing like this I'm sure will not be difficult this project to quickly develop, because it is very helpful and mutually beneficial of course. we see the results later and hopefully as expected

It's a good question whether there are services that give you a car-backed loan. I guess banks do that maybe? I have never heard about it but it surely doesn't exist on a blockchain.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]ContractNet - At the intersection of Blockchain, IOT & SMART CONTRACTS on: March 13, 2018, 05:09:46 PM
Another nice article on ContractNet an interesting read
https://www.theodysseyonline.com/contractnet-for-global-exchange-of-iot-data

Good to see it's popping up in various websites beyond just Bitcointalk, projects like this really need to get their name out their, hopefully they will also submit their ICO to some ICO Review sites, as its a good way to drum up positive press. As well as things like press releases to various news agencies. The more they can get their name out in the wild the more attention they can drive and the better for the project overall. That article was a pretty good read and explanation. Hopefully we see more coming on other sites.

I like the idea of reaching out to ICO Review sites. Do the devs have to do that or can investors who are interested reach out to them and request reviews?

Honestly not sure, i imagine its mostly from the ICO side, though i dont see why interested parties couldn't ask their favorite review sites to review an ICO they are interested in its more content for the review site and additional visibility for the ICO. I imagine the contractnet is already working on things like that though.

I think anyone can ask and request reviews, you don't have to be part of the team in order to get a review.

If thats true maybe we should all chip in and get a few review sites to take a look, i mean most of them are soso on credibility, but more visibility is always good for projects you think are good as the health of the project is good for both the company and the investors. I'd be interested to have contractnet get some visibility as what they are trying to do seems really interesting.

I think it makes most sense to go for the one with the most traffic, if anyone here knows which one that would be?

Most times good ICO sites do the ratings, some however reach out to project CEOs for some compensation in order to rate them high on their sites, others also require ratings to come from the community, it all depends but coming from a credible ico rating site will be ideal

I fear we would have to first define what a credible rating site is Wink as soon as their is payment involved it is hard to have no bias in the rating. We know that from the real world rating agencies and they failed big time.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [15 Feb-28 Feb] on: March 13, 2018, 05:08:13 PM
If you do not believe in the project, then sell your tokens on the stock exchange!! And forget about the credits!  No need to swear and shout that the project is a Scam.
The project is a scam. It may go up to 1 or 2$. That doesnt mean anything to me. There is no value and they are cheaters. Simple as that.

It's not clear yet whether they are bluffing or not with their million of transactions per second slogan. The technology have to be proven first, if it will ever come to existence.
According to them we have to invest on them first much more and we cant ask for checking their progress. "Github will come the team say". "Why to show the code others reply". The project is shady and anyone who participates should know the risks.
By presenting how great the project is based on a pump is just stupid what they do.

Most of you have probably seen the stream on Youtube where Ivan discusses their programming skills which they applied to creating the alpha. Their excuse is that it's just an alpha, but still... A bit of a weird situation without a Github.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Bitclave - Decentralized Search ★ November 29 ICO ★ on: March 13, 2018, 05:07:02 PM
Shping announced yesterday it will accept BitClave user profiles as a sign up and login option for the ShpingApp!  This is very interesting information.

Shping partnership is really great news but it's sad to see price still went down dramatically.
It lost value 10 times. I don't know how much time is needed for recovery. Hopefully we won't have to wait for too long.

It is because of market and bitcoin and sometime we cannot any thing when the market is in red. It will effect on all other altcoin which has greater potential in the market.

we dont need to worry if the market is in so much red. or CAT went down so bad. the coin did not lost its value, we cannot say that whether on CAT or any other coin.
CAT did not lost its value, its just that the market went bearish. we are now on a bearish market. the good thing here is that CAT's CEO and the rest of his team are not leaving the project, they are still on the development. so why worry?

Bitclave guys are among the hardest working people in the space and of course they won't leave the project. They are fully committed to an outstanding success.

Scooby903 you should keep in mind what they are trying to build. They are about to disrupt one of the biggest industries in the world. Do you think you can do it within just a few months? Or would you need some time to make it happen?

The best explanation! I agree 100%. It's not something anyone can build in a few months or even a year! Grin I'm bored of this FUD  Undecided It drives me crazy!

Additionally, the team is very professional about everything they do. Updates, communication, skillset within the team and so on and so forth. Is there a guarantee they can make it happen? Of course not, but that's what venture capital is about. If they achieve their goals, we might all see a 100,000% return one day.

So much fuds going around here. Credits now taking big hits. It has joined other Cryptocurrencies in the race for who dips the most. One of the tokens which I've wished to go below ICO price at the moment is credits. I recognize the potential when every one of y'all are condemning it. Please keep it up. I'm waiting to fill my bags

The problem is that the allegations in the room are serious and that they haven't been proven wrong yet. So far it's only talking and until there hasn't been real development action being presented to the public, those allegations will remain strong.

Whoever gives this a try, signs up and deposits funds (which I wouldn't do Cheesy), please share your experience with us and whether you ever saw your money again.

Thank you for your feedback. Is there any reason for doubt?

Best regards,

ADconity.com operational team!

I don't care whether you call yourself operational team or John or Peter or whatever. The announcement just doesn't allow for anyone to think that this is real.

It is real and yes agree that title is a bit bold. It is one of our promoters choice how to make more attention. Other than that you can follow us on other threads that you may perceive in a better manner:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2708012.msg27694047#msg27694047

Which would lead me to the next question: why are you running four different threads for a single project?

Thank you for the interest! Essentially to get more exposure in different threads since each of them has a different target audience.

Not my turn to give you any advice but I hope you don't dilute any valuable content too much and hurt yourself in the end by separating all those discussions.

I want to thank the Bitclave team for their job is being well done! I like your weekly updates on the project. It helps us trust the project! Wink

Id like to second this and especially like that those updates are never empty words, but instead they give all the token holders a good idea where we are at.
