So what happens to a transaction that was sent to a Poloniex RIC wallet while deposits are disabled?  Are those funds "lost"?  Or will they appear in the wallet once Poloniex re-enables deposits for RIC?

Any other exchanges for RIC that anyone recommends?

If your tx id can be found on the blockchain then it has already arrived at the poloniex receiving address. Now just have to wait for poloniex to fix their wallet.

Got it - thanks!  Currently just shows "Not yet redeemed" in the Riecoin Blockchain Explorer...

I don't think they decided to "kill" the coin, they make their money from trading volume and there are many coins listed that fall below RIC in that regard.

There is a ton of maintenance going on a Poloniex right now, lets hope they can fix the wallet soon.

Hello , I found on "Riecoin Blockchain Explorer"
this
"Tthe largest known sextuplet in early 2018 has 1037 digits, and was found be Normal Luhn on March 14, 2016. "
Who can write it correct ?
"The largest known sextuplet in early 2018 has 1037 digits, and was found by Norman Luhn on March 14, 2016. "

Last time this happened it took about 1.5 months, but during that time we had btc38 so it wasn't so bad.

I think RIC should be added to HitBTC or cryptopia. Cryptopia's listing fee is 15 BTC though  Roll Eyes HitBTC seems more reasonable.

Maybe the huge whale can help us out for Cryptopia  Grin

gatra will need to reach out to HitBTC as they require contact that is listed on the coin website.

I believe that's Polo's default maintenance message. The same message appeared when BTC and other coins were down for maintenance last week.

The sad part is, they literally only need to restart their node. It's possible that they are just extremely slow at doing anything, which has been the case with Polo for quite some time.

slow is not enough as a word to describe poloniex speed on several issues/procedures. the words super slow replay or bradypus, the Three-toed sloth suit the case much better.

The riecoin block network may have a problem. The ric address of the solo to the wallet is not the receiving address of the wallet.

Not sure what you mean by this, everything appears fine. Care to elaborate?

They are a pain in the ass to put it mildly. I am curious what Goldman Sachs will make out of Poloniex. The first thing they have to do is increase customer support.

riecoin seem to be a good risk reward for a little investment... but looking at poloniex -> RIC is currently under maintenance or experiencing wallet/network issues. Deposits and withdrawals will remain disabled until a solution is found, which may require an update from the RIC team. Any updates must be tested and audited before enabling
and looking at GIThub... not updaate since 4 years...

is someone in touch with someone of the team or is it a dead project ?

thank's for your answer Smiley

network is fine. as stated above the only thing they had to do is to restart their node....(unless they lost the keys to it or something haha)

Finally received a response from Poloniex...

"Thanks for reaching out!

We are currently looking into this issue and we will provide you with an update as soon as we have one. In the meantime, please do not create additional support tickets for the same issue as it slows response time. If you have more information to add about this issue, please respond here.

We appreciate your patience and will be in touch as soon as we have an update for you!

Best,
Poloniex Support Team"

Not really much to get excited about...
