Are you trading manually or with a bot? Maybe we could collab in some form...

I work on java trading stuff. Do you have an API, that I could implement, so my code could trade on your site?

I thought, that's Bitmit?
364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to trade btc-e? noob question on: November 06, 2013, 07:40:07 PM
Sorry, I write such stuff just for me. But I constantly look for developers interested in a collaboration.

367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to trade btc-e? noob question on: November 05, 2013, 09:04:10 PM
ah yes thanx man.

and hwat about arbitrage - are the payouts of the system really fast enough that i can arbitrage or not really?
also whats best way to trade E-BTC - by their site or by some program

You could do arb on btc-e. As long as your funds are only on the site (you don't have to withdraw or deposit coins), you can do lots of trades in seconds.

If you do arb over more than 1 exchange, you either have to move funds for the trade (slowing the trade down) or you have funds on both exchanges and balance later.

Since you have to consider fees, it's quite hard to do such trading manually. Some opportunities exist only for seconds or they happen in the mid of the night.
So I guess, it's only practical with a bot.
368  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Developing an opensource algorithmic trading system on: October 31, 2013, 05:40:58 PM
I do trading stuff in java, too. Maybe we can share some code, or so?

But I'm aiming at using drools for the strategies. I can already evaluate some rule sets in drools, but I need a compiler for a trading language, so I can just just describe my strategies as text files, load and execute them.

At the moment, I still have to hardcode my strategies, but I have some profitable bots already...

Publishing a bot for it? (=> lots of trades ?)
378  Local / Projektentwicklung / Re: Möchte Bitcoin Gewinnspiel aufbauen on: October 24, 2013, 08:00:50 PM
379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Open Source Trading Platforms ( who needs mt4 ?) on: October 24, 2013, 07:58:50 PM
Hi!

Unfortunately... it's totally not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a cli program to trade on stock or forex brokers in a similar way that goxsh.sh does on Mt.Gox.

Have you seen all the other trade platforms out there? There's quite a few but yours looks the most mature non web interface for arbitridge by far I've seen

This is actually a cli program.

I start it with

======
nohup ./tradeappd.sh -startbot Spread &
======

on my server, while the shell script is just a simple commandline:

======
#!/bin/sh
java -ms64m -mx192m -jar "tradeapp-0.2.0.jar" -daemon $@
======

If you leave the -daemon switch out, the app creates a GUI. Since my server has no X installed, there's no use for a GUI. The bots are configured via property files.

There's no forex interface, because I have no clue how to implement one yet. I'm actually interested in such stuff, and that's why I'm looking for an experienced trader.

Ciao,
Andreas

You want to create public API implementations? What language are you using? Maybe we could share some code? I use java..
