i havent had any issues with qt wallet.. other than slow blocks. apparently devs are spearheading this issue though.
the coind daemon works find for me too.. staking and otherwise.

as well as that pesky freebsd port?

another quality post.. i have noticed an issue with a lot of users just posting to "keep active" vs actually contributing.
while i'm in the thread though does anyone else dislike "Member" and "Full Member" as titles?
probably just me.

eligius posts a public list of its "top" contributors.. looks like that list was harvested and now being baited for pyramid scams.
on the flip side, fee bitcoin ;p

The problem with undervolting is that it might crash every few hours or so. And you have to manually restart the mining.
not to mention removing the warranty with all those bios flash, i would certainly not do it with so many gpu, the risk to screw one is high, and those card are expensive, it must be said that without this mod, having 1500w for 170 mega on ETH, is not good at all, a 970 can do 1k and 132 mega, this is almost 200 mega with 1500w yes but some considerations are; max gpu per rig and ability to resell gpu's when mining goes PoS or unprofitable. nano's smaller form factor make them pretty desirable for some scenarios, even when newer and more powerful gpu's are out in the wild.. the 970gtx is already the little brother to the 980.. not sure it would fetch the same price in 18 months time.

you may want to check the charts if you're still waiting for that pump.. finally back at the levels i bought in at way back when.

for those mining through geth a command to show the highest diff solved in last x hours would be useful..
i see a lot of solo miners complaining about variance and lack of blocks found.
does the geth >> /home/spex/ethereum.log method log blocks found even if they orphan?
just discovered i may be calculating my estimated time to finding a block and wondering why its been dry so long.
variance aside what tools are at a solo miners disposal using geth?

yeah not much faith in this scaninput enhancement when i have 3 blocks of coins sitting at 99%+ probability of a block found by now.
thanks though i'll check out the leveldb version
so i notice there is a novacoin 5.7 version available now..
in leveldb and bdb flavors.
which will stake faster and which is recommended? i have 3 inputs over 100 coins that have been staking over 90 days (with unlocked wallet more than half this time) and no reward.

it creates traffic, which generated revenue..
also each account created requests a small fee to activate in most cases.
just use some common sense when taking in advice.

i dont know krakens infrastructure seems pretty flaky.. they do have their toes in a lot of markets though which is great.
alternatively coinbase requires like 8 confirmations for deposit.. whats up with that?

so nobody replied to my question about limiting bandwidth..
there is a --maxpeers command line attribute that you can curb your usage with..
its strange though, under 5 i get some reasonable usage most of the time.. 1 or 2 more allowed and i'm like 5 gig a day now heh.
also verbosity is crazy past 4.. i guess the quick blocks i should have figured. my --logfile attribute seems broken so i have stuck with the >>log.file ending for now. its not logging anything but my miners initializing though.. maybe after i score a few blocks.
fingers crossed, comments welcome.

so is there no way to get my backed up blockchains/wallets on 4.8.3 to work with current core?
i've managed to compile and link the archived datasets from oracle but core wont build past leveldb.. figured it was something i did wrong.
yeah i submitted a ticket and got not reply as well..
curious why you would offer the link in that case.
i wouldn't mind an update too..
warmer weather still allowing the passive cooling?
seemed like a neat project.
is there any way to limit the bandwidth usage on geth?
something equal to the max connections value in coind would be great..
kind of makes me think about all that reddit spam i was getting regarding eth.. wish i had read it now.. kinda

Dat feel when you get excited about having 400+ activity, only to realize Legend is 480 and won't happen for nearly 3 months. I think the reason for 90% of the people that are eagerly waiting to rank up is due to them getting a higher signature rate. Beside all the signature stuff there is no real benefit to become a hero or legendary. zero interest in sig campaign here.. just want an avatar but posting as usual along the way. guess i'm one of the 10%
