depending on the issue, once you fix the issue and re-run the crontab scripts.. it may fix everything or you may have to go into the sql db manually and fix the erroneous data.

be sure to back everything up before making your adjustments.

no logs for your viewing, sorry.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WTF ? 1000 BTC transfers in last block? on: January 18, 2016, 03:01:16 AM
i dont like blockchain.info's depiction of these bitcoin days destroyed..

sure its nice that moving all these coins is possible.. it proves that the system is functioning.

the question to ask is, to what end does this posturing reflect.

It tells us when a lot of old coins that haven't moved in years start moving. Often big timers store their bitcoins in an extra secure address called cold storage, then leave them there for years. When they decide to sell them they have to send them to an exchange, and that coin movement makes a big spike in the bitcoin days destroyed chart.

yes, i know.. thanks Smiley

money orders are cheap insurance against "lost in the mail" scenarios as well as making theft a bit more difficult.

dating back to the origins of the machine that broke the famous enigma code, poles have a long and proud history in crypto.

bitcoin may be another matter.. but coinmap shows some healthy points

Hi,

the setting is
"-C <pattern>"
where pattern = C+what you want to find

also, u can use "-i" for case-insensitive search

Example:

Code:
vanitygen -o foundoutput.txt -i -C CANNA

hrmm yeah that was a guess of mine but

Code:
~/vanitygen$ ./vanitygen -C CANNA
./vanitygen: invalid option -- 'C'
Vanitygen 0.22 (OpenSSL 1.0.2e 3 Dec 2015)

Also tried -X C CANNA to no avail.. will take this over to the vanitygen support thread i guess.

whats the setting to create cannacoin vanity addresses?

the vanitygen changelog specified CCN was added last year but no further details to be found anywhere.

if you're a patient trader, starting with say half a bitcoin.. each trade will not sway a larger volume exchange too much every buy/sell and you should be able to claw your way up fairly quickly.
