Cool. I wish you the best of luck, it's good to see some competition around these parts.
Thank you, I appreciate that. Something I forgot to add to the thread: I'd appreciate it if only people interested in taking out a loan would post here. If you ever suspect my bitcointalk account has been hacked, then please request a signed message from the address 1Sexyb1p8byGxunfTfHvL9SXsWqHyEPVk. This is not the repayment address; it is simply an address I will always be in control of, and if there's ever a doubt of my authenticity you can request a signed message. Message: This is alia_armelle from bitcointalk. Signature: HB3MHw+fk12Rg0uZ5tjO+7MYQyq7tPyLQHeoCUHGZP1eEIj/69NetQOPi9yQOVNLHa48/JNshr3/voM6s0uHYI0= Will you sign the address with BTC as well? How much loan I can get without collateral? 0.1% a day looks good to me than paying 0.15% a day. I'm afraid I do not give out loans if you don't have collateral, unless you're theymos, satoshi, Lauda, bitkilo, or a few other notable exceptions. I'm outside right now and I can't sign with my main cold storage, but here's a message from an address that has a little bit: Address: 1LN8dQCxdLKwCHKrPvUsdHjVPknhfqfSvJ Message: Belongs to alia_armelle Signature: IAlMcrQvxdGhac/VLQbcLHYNSLbTrSUakZQxTUCbP+JIQTQiWTrrh93ca+qDi+WKBiDDCheQo/GwJeYwpMOAB9g= Will verify that message later. I can provide collateral but will look for a loan of 3-4 BTC at least. Can you do that?

The source is this post in this thread. The question seems philosophical to me: someone can pay a merit source, and the merit source can give merit. But it's not allowed for a source to sell his merits. Although I didn't find that answer all over the forum but this is still the best reply for this question. I guess?
Consequences for the selling merit could be very bad for them. Lutpin says: "It isn't allowed for sources to sell their merit, a punishment could go from being booted as source all the way up to getting your account banned, depending on how far you stepped out of line."
Sorry, none of these still answer it to me. The post linked by LoyceV is just another user, not a moderator/theymos. And Lutpin is an active member, but not a part of the staff as far as I know.... So is there any official word on it that anyone can link me to? The way he answered all the questions I thought he is the part of staff. Sorry and thanks

As I already wrote, bitcoins are needed to replenish working capital. Your profit is 5% per day. At the moment, we can accept only 0.3 bitcoins. A guarantee of a refund is a pledge of ETH. I ask to write only interested in the contribution, not humorists.
With this you can double my money in just 40 days but you can't double your money. Right? Right - then go away you scammer. Wrong - Sell your house and invest that money(oh, you don't have a house).

|
I love your concept and Idea, 5% a day wow, I love to invest please tell me where to send the free BTC. thank you for coming up here and present you Idea in front of us.
5% a day means 100% money back in 20 days and after that all, what we get will be our profit. Right? 345/20 = 17.25 x 0.3 = 5.17500 BTC profit in a year.
Pleasure to meet you here buddy.

Minor request, can you add links to sources in the original post, so that it's easy to validate the facts? In particular, if you remember where you found the source for the following answer, I would appreciate it: Q: Is it possible for merit source to sell merits ? A: This is possible but everything is public and it will be caught. Also, there are limits. (I would like to know whether the forum has its own rules against it or "caught" just means negative trust) Although I didn't find that answer all over the forum but this is still the best reply for this question. I guess? Consequences for the selling merit could be very bad for them. Lutpin says: "It isn't allowed for sources to sell their merit, a punishment could go from being booted as source all the way up to getting your account banned, depending on how far you stepped out of line."

Q: If someone is a Member, and he got 30 sMerits by default, after they use the 30 sMerits, is it like gone forever? Or they will be given a few new sMerits every day?
I think you missed this one Q: The sMerit we have at the beginning won't regenerate after it is over? A: Yes, that is your free pack of sMerit, use them wisely. Hi SM23031997, Thank you so much for the post. I find it very detailed and clear, now I have a much better idea about the new merit system. Also, I translated your post to Chinese and post in our local section so that our local community will also get better understanding about the new system and try to make high quality posts. Link to my post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2829839 Nice, keep supporting the forum.

I am quite exhausted from all this Merit drama. People coming back again and again with same thing. The ultimate reason behind it is signature campaign. Here, I'm asking the question to our loyal community what is their option in case signature campaign's story comes to an end and it goes forever from the Bitcointalk.org
And don't forget to comment your reason below.
My reason - I left my job in August and now i'm a full time bitcoin trader. I know that's horrifying but I also have other sources of income than bitcoin.

It is not our fault that you joined late. I can feel your pain but you need to accept what you get. You need to accept that you are only for signature rewards? Aren't you? Tell me any other reason newbie or lower ranks are opposing this decision? Account farmers and Spammers are in shock if you are not the one then keep calm and you will be able to reach higher rank soon.

What? When? Who? I never received that. What are you talking about?
oh Shut up..., It was for members with activity greater than 775 which means they are very near to that line(I think they actually crossed it.) to become a Legendary members and comes into this category "Legendary: Somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity".

When you merit someone then refresh the page, it will give him the merit another time.
Has been discussed many times but what's new in your post "your post itself". No one ever made a thread on it. I was like let's try, it is still there? I clicked the merit button and it was like stop trying me and start using me.

Q Can I make a transaction with 2049 KB?
Q Will it ever get a confirmation?
Q If it will then it will be violation of rule, that a block can't be greater than 2 MB?
Q If I'm able to make a transaction with 2049 KB then will it able to clog the bitcoin network or able to make the fees higher to any extend?

In case you missed it, I +1 sM your post because that's the type of guy I'm.
And he +1ed you back. That's the reason you announced it, right? Dude, I don't want the sonabitch back. Here: +1 sM Actually, I didn't check the timelines as to when sM was sent or received. I'm just doling them out as I feel. Wait, is that even allowed? I suggest there should be a litmus test AND a psychological evaluation given to users prior to entrusting them with sM. For that matter, the same for the person who's dolin' them out to the dolers - STARTING AT THE TOP. I just don't want everyone to start announcing when they leave sM. The only reason to do that is the hope of reciprocation. Why people would leave me for reciprocation? What? WTF? Why everyone is talking about me today? Can't you guys stop posting about me? and that +1 is for that signature you have.

Sorted the list. Reading it now will give much better experience. Thanks for collating the information on merits. I see something that might be a minor error though. I think this: Q. Do merits decay ? A. Not for now, but if people start to hoard, it would be implemented. (Response by theymos) refers to sMerits, and not Merits. Quoting my Merits page: You have received a total of 1000 merit. This is what determines your forum rank. You typically cannot lose this merit. You have 78 sendable merit (sMerit) which you can send to other people. There is no point in hoarding sMerit; keeping it yourself does not benefit you, and we reserve the right to decay unused sMerit in the future. You might want to update that in your original post. Thanks, Updated.

They're not the police, nor is the trust system the judicial system.
*applaud* If you send Merit to a post that doesn't deserve it, you probably risk your account.
Disagreed. That would be stupid. Either you have the freedom of sending merit to whomever you want, whenever you want, or you have a very restricted system that is somewhat pointless. Users should not be scared to leave merit or the system will collapse. Someone sending Merit one by one to a single user or a limit number of accounts on different posts will probably raise some red flags to me.

Now After shame full act of giving useless tag of Shitposter, Actmyname has started giving Red tag just because one member give Merit to another member. He along with few others want all merit given to him or to DT members only Beware guys, if you give Merit to any account, this mafia of 3 DT members (actmyname / Pharmist / Cat) will tag you thinking alts are giving merit to each otherBut if you give Merit to DT members or well-known accounts, only then its acceptable Here a recent attack of actmyname... If you send Merit to a post that doesn't deserve it, you probably risk your account.

NO 1 week, 1 month and 1 year from now it wont matter. The main objective of the forum is not to rank up, its to learn and share constructively about crypto.
Although this guy achieved full member rank but he is not thinking about Sr. member right now. Learn to accept what you get. keep supporting the forum guys you get better from it. Best things happen to those who wait.
