Hello all,
I am attempting to mine on wemineltc with cgminer. I believe I have set up my bat file correctly, but when I start cgminer I get: Probing for alive pool then Stratum from pool 0 found new block. It says I'm doing something, but my dashboard brings up that I have a 0 hash rate, any ideas?
here is my .bat
Thanks!
color 07 cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://eu.wemineltc.com:3333 -u worker.1 -p password --shaders 1792 --intensity 20 --worksize 256 -g 1 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1500 --temp-target 75
Paste a screenshot of your miner

Please switch to the EU server till we find out what is wrong with the USA server!

Ok we just found another block, the "Round Estimate 0.09959069 LTC" which is about right I was getting before. But looking at the PAYOUT / TRANSACTION LOG under unconfirmed it says that I'll be paid 0.05766288 which is very low. phuck this pool, sorry Admin you had a great pool and you have been screwing us over for almost 24hrs now. I'm out. Round estimate is abit off, we are fixing it atm we speak. Who exactly we screwing over? Have you considered also that from yesterday the difficulty increased from 294 to 323? Please post your Khses and you will see that pool pays TO THE CENT what it has to pay! We are always here to help, and not to screw ANYONE.

that should be around 40k Watts
Actually a bit less, every 3 x 7970 pc i build takes around 900 W on the plug so [(28+96)/3] * 900 = 37200 W
|
|
|
28 x 7970 here(around 18Mhses)! And adding 96 (yes, 96!!) 7970 more by end of April
|
|
|
Hashing now @ nearly 350 Mhses, and our luck is great till now!!

Vardiff seems to be active still on the US server....difficulty jumped to 15xx and then stopped responding. Presumably because I wasnt solving any blocks at that level but it escalated very quickly from 128 to 336 to 15xx in a 3 lines of polling. Switched back to eu...no issues there.
I'm on us and my current difficulty is 290 so probably it's still active VARDIFF seems like is playing games with us ^__^ F$#$#$G hashes # ^__^ Its OFF now for good

So will we be credited for the shared we were submitting when none of the stats were updating? ~Last 5 blocks or something. Thanks for your hard work! I really enjoy this pool and just like someone above said, your admin presence is great! [/quote] We were credited, but we did credited wrong (as i wrote, user Unicorn was credited mistakenly like 95% of the whole last 5 blocks due to a VARDIFF error). We have already contacted him and we wait for his answer If he refuses to return it, we will try to pay everyone which was affected by those 5 last blocks with our own LTCs, if they will ask for them... Its not like its Unicorns' fault at the very end, its OUR fault, and we dont liek the idea OUR users pay for OUR mistakes. If he returns them, all good otherwise if not, users who demand it we will try to make it right for them one by one

I hope their North America server comes online soon. That may reduce stales even further for me. The USA server is UP AND WORKING!! Come check it out

I checked the Pool Stats and this got my attention, is the difficulty set right?:
SERVER STATS Pool Hash Rate 267.908 Mhash/s Pool Difficulty 64 Current Users Mining 324 Current Total Miners 579 Next Network Block 335,043 (Current: 335,042) Current Difficulty 323.2741777
Yes you are right we just forgot to change it on the web page. The difficulty is set on 128, as cgminer says We will fix it on site also asap

Hello again!! Yes, VARDIFF is disabled for now, was causing/caused major issues. One of those, is that one particular user(username Unicorn) got credited with 99% of the LTC rewards for the last 5 blocks, due to VARDIFFs error crediting him with 2 MILLION MEGA hashes per second ^__^ We have already emailed the user, and we hope that wi will be kind enough to return the LTCs so we can redistribute them to you!(Unicorn if you read this, please check your email ) on another note, pool is BACK and more stable than before(in the maintenance we found out some more minor bugs and we decided them to fix them while the pool was down now anyways). BOTH EU and USA servers are up, STRATUM fully works and VARDIFF is DISABLED till further notice!! Again sorry for the trouble!!! Lets resume from where we started!!

I am very disappointed in Nicksasa at the moment. I came to his defense last week, and so far his actions have made me look like an ass for doing so.
Further, I am owed over 900 LTC on Notroll.in. I am posting this here for reference:
Your Balance: 910.94891074 LTC Total Earned: 6845.58884377 LTC 24h Earnings: 1193.96582209 LTC
My entire operation moved to wemineltc.com today, and I plan on staying there indefinitely.
It really pisses me off that large miners like myself have been nothing but pack mules for the last 10 days, finding blocks that enabled lesser balances to cash-out. It would be great if Nicksasa would come in here and give us some indication of how balances as high as mine will be paid.
I feel you. But now that wemineltc is also down... time to switch yet again.... Maintance done, bug found and fixed, pool is up and running! Sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused!

hello guys! Small update: first of all, thanks for your support! As we wrote in site news also, 4/15/2013 - Site and Mining Operations Shut down temporairly for maintenance. We found a bug with VARDIFF and it was causing issues with our site and we have shutdown for a few hours to sort it all out. Check back soonThe thought for now is to remove VARDIFF completely, till we could replicate the error. We ironing few more things, and opening announcement will be due soon

Hello people and good morning! First time in 10 days we are up and running, that i slept more than 6 hours and this happened... Seems like the VARDIFF bug completely fucked up everything and hang whole MySQL table. Pool is down now to fix this issue! I confirm that last 2 blocks were not paid correct, but dont worry, everything will be credited accordingly when we fix the damn thing!! Please allow few hours of downtime till we get this sorted and work properly! And to make it clear: Last two blocks were NOT paid correctly! They will be credited accordingly when the pool is back, in few hours ! Announcement will be made

So....I'm confused, lol.
Let me see if I get this correct.
Honestly, Hash rate means nothing overall because it's actually the shares that matter. So for a few days when I was getting 700 hash but only like .2 shares a minute that wasn't good. However when I lower my hash and get more shares per minute that's actually smart?
Now, how does this work with the change? I'm now getting the same hash, but lower shares per minute and the website shows me getting way less ltc per day as I now am turning in less shares.
do not pay attention atm to the Round and Day estimate Its a bug that we try to iron out, and doesnt affect anywhere your miners/earnings. Only thing affects and disturbs atm is the eye, and we are working on it: VARDIFF gives you shares according to your hash rate, and credits you accordingly. That means, a difficulty 1 share counts as 1 share, whereas a difficulty 128 counts for 128 shares. Mind though that a difficulty 128 needs 128x times the power to solve it compared to the difficulty 1 share! with other words, VARDIFF fine tweaks which shares to give you and maximize your workers/profits. Just let us iron out that eye catchy bug

Is the round estimate number correct with regards to vardiff? My GPU miner was getting difficulties from 300-1111, so I wasn't getting a whole lot of shares, but my round estimate was quite low for my hashrate even after running for an hour. If the round estimate doesn't take difficulty into effect yet, how can we be assured the payouts will be calculated correctly?
Yes the round estimate indicator is way off, thanks for spotting the bug Dont worry, the payouts are calculated correctly and they will be credited on the spot when the block is found it will be fixed asap
