363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to mtrlt?: A continuing story on: August 24, 2013, 03:02:47 PM
Thank you for understanding.

I do not think much will change with me in the future. I will just try to remain quiet and be less of a asshole for the remaining years.

Apologies to everyone. Except to mtrlt if he actually IS a scammer. Tongue

Cheers.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to mtrlt? Did he just scam us of 75 BTC? on: August 24, 2013, 02:35:56 PM
I realize that this guy is right. I apologize for attempting to stir up the masses. I guess I'm an idiot and an ass afterall.

You can read my proper closing in the thread that guy above me created.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=280201.0

I guess I will lock this thread now. It serves no purpose.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to mtrlt?: A continuing story on: August 24, 2013, 02:33:27 PM
Alright. I'll clear things up.

I realize that this behavior is probably for the most part: unwarranted, and immature.

Truth is. I'm bitter. Very bitter, especially recently with personal events. The reason why I initially created the thread is not really because I have much against mtrlt. I'm just bitter, a bit cynical too. There is an unreleased anger inside of me. Ever heard the phrase, "some men just want to watch the world burn"? Plus, mtrlt got on my nerves when he deleted the initial post I made. (As that one was legitimately stating facts, and then putting a funny image there to top it off. It just made me giggle.) All these things combined motivated me to create that thread. I did not intend to lie in the thread, but my bitterness has biased me to make the thread terribly biased.

I acknowledge that I'm probably an idiot, and an ass, and whatever else most people called me after creating that thread. I got it. I've heard it for many years from the voices inside my head. It does not surprise me by any means.

I'm not asking for forgiveness, since it changes nothing. I'm just making it clear that I acknowledge and accept my defeat. My bitterness is just an aimless destruction of everything in my path in whatever means possible, without reason.

I'm sorry about it, nonetheless.

I have closed the thread since it serves no purpose.
366  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitspend on: August 24, 2013, 02:20:43 PM
So why is there not a real reaction to this scam? Were not many people scammed? Or do people have disposable coins and don't care that they were scammed?

It might be because it's too early to tell. Even a lawyer may tell you to wait a month or so more.

You ought to take action, and solve the mystery for everyone else while you're at it.
367  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Selling off my entire DSLR photography rig on: August 24, 2013, 01:46:09 PM
Raise it to 5 BTC and you have a deal. I will package it very safely in bubble wrap.  (Have experience selling online.)
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin Release - First Scientific Computing Cryptocurrency on: August 24, 2013, 12:24:22 AM
The XPM is SCAM anyway : ]
You're a scam.

You mean scum.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to mtrlt? Did he just scam us of 75 BTC? on: August 24, 2013, 12:18:29 AM
This is an excellent thread.

Thank you. I tend to make excellent threads. Tongue
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to mtrlt? Did he just scam us of 75 BTC? on: August 23, 2013, 11:29:07 PM
Feel free to donate ten thousand dollars to me.
I might give you the secret to immortality!

(Except I won't, because it's a donation! )

Ooor, It's possible that mikaelh was paid by Mtrlt to write that? Tongue

So time for a new thread? Tongue

mikaelh get ready!
lol. xD

372  Economy / Services / Re: Get up to 1 BTC per month for your signature! Advertise Bit777 & Peerbet! on: August 23, 2013, 09:36:18 PM
I don't get paid anything for my past 500 posts? Otherwise, I think i'd pick this up and leave it in there indefinitely. ( I plan to be active for at least 6 months)

It is a performance model. You will get paid for what you do, not what you have done already. Smiley
You get payed 1 BTC if you make 2000 posts in 30days?
Only ~66 posts a day..

That's 5 an hour. Tongue

... 12 hours a day.

That seems hard. xD
373  Economy / Services / Re: Get up to 1 BTC per month for your signature! Advertise Bit777 & Peerbet! on: August 23, 2013, 09:24:00 PM
Sounds fair when I think about it. Alright then. Maybe next month after I receive my payment from TF I'll hop on this, or something.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to mtrlt? Did he just scam us of 75 BTC? on: August 23, 2013, 09:13:59 PM
1. Average US income was assumed to be minimum wage due to the general state of the economy. This was an error on my part, and I acknowledge it.
2. I never called myself a journalist. Don't put words in my mouth.

Well, there is nothing more for me to say, because your whole debunking-of-all-my-facts streak was just correcting one erroneous statement I made. All other of my facts that you speak of as if false that I have made are correct as far as we are concerned.

The reason I chose this thread title was to gain attention to raise awareness to the situation I am trying to get eyes on. You gotta make enthusiastic titles, and asking a question like I did there is the best way. Tongue As I said, I'm not pretending to be a journalist or a reporter. I'm just helping people know what's going on.

Any further bias I have added past the original post has been due to my bitterness. I acknowledged it.

Even if I was biased, It still doesn't change the fact that mtrlt could have scammed us, for all we know, and I think that is something that everyone should know. Ultimately, I think you're just trying to seek ways to discredit me. Did Mtrlt pay you to write that post?  Roll Eyes He sure could have with that 45 BTC that has left his BTC address.

Or maybe I have schizophrenia. Tongue

You decide.
375  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New Bitsumo.com - Buy Online With Bitcoins on: August 23, 2013, 07:41:41 PM
Thanks. Feel free to post it here as to inform others of the option, be it available.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to mtrlt? Did he just scam us of 75 BTC? on: August 23, 2013, 07:39:26 PM
ReCat

Be the best person you can possibly be.

Take your own advice and stop being such a whinny pussy and stfu

Please quote the places where I was whining, places where i'm posting numbers and other facts don't count, and it's normal for me to be a pussy, because that's just another word for cat. Tongue (see my avatar)

I'll only really take my advice with people who I think deserve it.

Thanks.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to mtrlt? Did he just scam us of 75 BTC? on: August 23, 2013, 07:28:28 PM
Sigh it really does seem you have a vendetta against him.

You're bending the facts here to make them fit your story.

There are so many logical fallacies in your argument, I don't know where to start.

How about you reread your post, mull it over for a while, then come back when you're less callow.

Feel free to go ahead and start. I like to be corrected.

I'm not kidding.

Saying I'm wrong and not saying why it doesn't win any arguments either.
378  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New Bitsumo.com - Buy Online With Bitcoins on: August 23, 2013, 07:19:28 PM
I do not have the money right now. I was just asking to know if it can be done in the future.

It's just a regular T-Mobile Cellphone plan. Since that is my favourite carrier in the US.
379  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New Bitsumo.com - Buy Online With Bitcoins on: August 23, 2013, 07:15:42 PM
I have a question.

Is it possible by any means for me to pay in BTC, and have you get a T-Mobile Account in the US and send me the SIM-CARD for that account, where I pay you the bill monthly in BTC and you pay the account?
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to mtrlt? Did he just scam us of 75 BTC? on: August 23, 2013, 07:13:44 PM
Still that`s neto not bruto, anyway try and find any programmer do work for you for 8$/h, better offer the price to someone in face and face the consequence Tongue

I didn't say the job is overpaid. I said that because the job earns so much, it should be absolute top priority.

Dude I don't even know why you care so much; you didn't even donate.

It seems like you have a personal vendetta against mtrlt or something.

This is true, I didn't donate a dime. (Partly because I didn't have a dime to donate at the time - I may have donated if I did - and If I did I would have regretted it, Big time)

Mr. Mtmrlt just got on my nerves, and I think that there is a possibility he scammed my fellow bitcoiners as well, and so, this is why I created the thread. I thought it needed a discussion place, too. Tongue

But the single biggest reason I created this thread is because I found it VERY suspicious that:

1. He didn't want people to know how much money he has gotten. Maybe so that other people go ahead and send him more...??

2. Now that people found out, he closed threads and deleted posts, removing all evidence. He even removed the original BTC donation address, making it difficult for people to see how much money he has received!

3. He called my stating of simple objective facts, completely lacking all and any judgement or negative statements towards him "whining", which I suspect is simply made up nonsense to cover up his past actions.

4. If he was legit, He'd come to this thread and make everything clear to all of us. But he does not.

All of this put together... isn't it just flat out suspicious?

I'm sorry Mr. Mtmrlt. I supported you at first, but now you have lost my faith.

1. His BTC donation address is: 1FKfgFQeZCpjGDn7ocgj26nk4K2TNiVJyD. It's stated clearly (in bold) in his new thread.

2. He locked his original thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=258540.0) because people like you were spamming up his thread with scam accusations and such (no offense). You can clearly see he updated his OP with the link to his new thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=273637) that has everything the original post did, including the same BTC address. Look it up on the block explorer; all 75.30520335 BTC is there.

3. I don't see where he said you were whining in the original thread, but I can see why he locked it. The last 2 pages were completely off topic with jealous idiots drooling over the 75BTC he got.

4. Not sure about this one, but I hope he will clear it up soon.

The only thing he is in the wrong for right now is keeping everyone hanging. If he made a thread explaining his actions, I'm sure all of this will get cleared up.

lol also I just realized: your points 1 & 2 contradict each other. How can people keep sending him donations if he hid his donation address?

1. He hid the donation address from the thread that was exposing how much money he received, but he gladly showed his BTC address in the thread that did not have any information about how much money he received. My point holds perfectly.
2. I never accused him to begin with. I made a post with numbers on it.
3. He put it on the top of the new thread. He wasn't referring to the jealous idiots, he was referring to me after I reposted his BTC address's balance in the thread. (That is the post he deleted)

My point 1 & 2 do not contradict eachother. Please re-read what I said. He hid the BTC address after people started getting unhappy because they found out how much money was in that BTC address, then he created a new thread where he removed all posts that pointed out the blockchain.info link.
