3601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 10, 2021, 11:09:43 AM
It is not about the price of bitcoin affecting my gambling style, but it is because of the fee. The current fee is so high that I can't not resist forcing me to switch to other coins. Well, changing is not always bad. It does bring me a new experience. I have never gambled with Doge before, but it is really useful and fast. Moreover, you can make a big bet without worrying. Soon, when I hit jackpot with my doge, I might consider changing my state of currency back to normal. Bitcoin is still my number one coin
You should try to gamble using Dogecoin as many others use. The fee is not too high and the transaction can confirmed in a fast confirmation as the other and moreover, many gambling site accept Dogecoin to gamble, so you will not have a problem in the future.
Besides Dogecoin, you can use Tron, but I do not think that many gambling site accept that coin since the site have bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, and dogecoin.
It is worth if you gamble using Dogecoin because the price is not too high depend the other coin.

Using Dogecoin for gambling is a good idea. I remember a few years back when only Bitcoins, Doge and Litecoins where accepted from online casinos. Also Dogecoin is looking pretty stable again after the rally at the beginning of the year. For me it is most important to use a coin for gambling that is not so volatile. That is also why I kind of stopped using BTC for gambling purposes. It feels a bit sad if you win a little in gambling, but in the meantime BTC rallied another 10 % and you should have just kept your coins instead of gambling with it.
3602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 09, 2021, 07:30:23 PM

At the very beginning I thought I would just play in the evening, but one evening turned into a constant game during the day. On the first deposit, I was lucky and I took out a little, it was x3 of my deposit and I was happy. Recently, I just started making stupid deposits and trying to win something and I understand that this is self-deception, but I cannot stop and make more and more deposits. I decided to make the 1st level of VIP, but for this I need to make a turnover of 10k dollars, but I am a player with low stakes and this is difficult for me to do. You seem to understand everything that you will lose, but you go to play again. How to get rid of gambling addiction?

Sorry to hear that buddy. Starting out with a decent profit when using the deposit bonus happened to me aswell a few times. And after winnings a few days you start believe that winning is very common and you can't lose. But once you lose you want to make back your loss with higher bets. I know your feeling, you think you can compensate your loss with higher bets in the future. To recover you either need to take higher risks (which also means that the chances of losing is higher) or invest more money. My best advice would be to just take a break of a few days after losing big. We need to fully recover after a loss and start gambling with a fresh mind, being to much emotionally invested is a big problem. What I find very helpfull is the panic button on most casinos. Once you press the button, you can lock yourself out for 24, 48, or 72 hours. This helps me a bit after gambling too much. Or maybe you can talk with your family, to help you take a break from gambling. Beating an addiction alone is very difficult.
3603  Other / Off-topic / Re: Formula E on: April 09, 2021, 07:03:17 PM
Hello guys,

Do you usually follow Formula E?

What is your opinion on this category of motor sports? Do you think there will be a future?
This year, for the first time, it is an official FIA event.

Who do you think will win the race this year?
I wish it was Da Felix, again.  Cool

Formula E is kind of fun, I have been following it a little in the past. The races seem to be much faster than the traditional Formula 1. I saw that most of the fastest lap records from Formula 1 is getting broken with the new Formula E cars. However, for the betting market I don't think there is a lot of money involved yet. People love the Formula 1 races and their drivers. Getting such a huge fan base like the drivers in Formula 1 seems very hard for Formula E drivers.
3604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins shall I NOT Buy and Why? on: April 09, 2021, 06:43:24 PM

- Polymath Network

- StormX

- FUNToken

- IoTeX

- Linear

Which ones are known to be scams or dead projects with no social media updates or simply just shitcoins with no real world use?

If you had $1000, which ones would you avoid?

Kind of hard to stay, but among your list I don't like FUNToken that much. I am not really looking to add new coins to my portfolio right now, so I am not fully up to date on all of those coins. I wouldn't say it is a shit coin, just that the future upside potential is not that great.
3605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bad week mojo lost on: April 09, 2021, 06:36:05 PM

Now I want to dust myself up and start again, learn from my mistake but I have lost my mojo with it all. Up til Wednesday I was on a winning streak and everything was going well but I dont trust myself now.
I put on a trade and if it falls by 20% (leveraged) I close the trade only for it to go back up.
I am looking for strategies or tools to try and figure out a better game plan with futures, I can see huge potential just need to get focused and try again

Better not to force it if you have lost your Mojo. Losing is part of the trading game, we need to prepare ourselfs for it, we can't be always right. But if you are not convinced of your trades right now then just take a break. There is no need to over trade, there will be new opportunities every week. Taking a break for a week or two can be very helpful, it will help to refresh our mind and we can be fully focused again. Having the right mindset and mojo is very important, we need to be optimistic.
3606  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A tribute to Prince Philip. (Rest in Peace) on: April 09, 2021, 06:19:05 PM
RIP Prince Philip, a very great man. He was educated all around Europe and knows all the different countries. In his last few public pictures he looked very old. I wish all the best for the Royal Family. Is Prince Harry coming back to UK now? Let's hope the Queen will get 120 years old.
3607  Other / Off-topic / Re: ONE WISH IN YOUR LIFE on: April 09, 2021, 06:09:21 PM
If you where given a chance to have 1 wish in your life,
what would it be? and why did you choose it?

i wish i can wish 3 more wishes. Grin

Haha, this seems like an exploit. Why not just wish for 10 wishes or even better unlimited wishes.
3608  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to trigger central bank collapse on: April 09, 2021, 05:51:50 PM
^^People keep saying that something will destroy economy and it never really does, economy is already a horrible situation at the current moment so why would having a competition would ruin it? It should help it, that is the free market capitalism supported all these years. If banking is so bad that even a crypto currency type of experimental currency can destroy it, maybe that means banking should be destroyed and rebuilt? I mean after all crypto is nothing, it is a decentralized coin and if your company can't handle that maybe you should be gone.

Back in the day people were slaves, when slaves revolted people said without slaves companies couldn't make money, this is only 100-150 years ago (and there is slavery even today) what happened? Jeff Bezos has 200 billion dollars so I guess without slavery (even though it is close to slavery situation) it can continue. Do not mistake what media and companies are telling you with truth, crypto will improve the world and not destroy it.

Yeah money and debt is the new form of slavery these days. Which would mean that eventually the people had enough and start rebelling against the system, like it happened with slavery. When I look back at my grandparents, they saw 4 different type of currencies in their lifetime.  A new currency doesn't always mean a collapse of the central banks but in most cases they go hand in hand. If we look at the super rich and how fast their wealth is growing, while the average salary is not chancing much over the last 10 years, it is just a matter of time until the system will collapse.
3609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Table games VS slots on: April 09, 2021, 05:40:48 PM

Some people love both casino games equally, but most gamblers prefer either slots or table games. Both games have their own advantages and disadvantages. Slot games are action-packed and fast-moving but are good at taking your money. Table games are usually better for your bottom line, but they move slower and require more effort.

And here’s my question, which ones do you prefer = table games or slots? What are the pros & cons for you?

Hey Karl, nice to see another of your surveys.

Personally I like both Table and Slot games when playing in a physical casinos. Playing with other people at the same table is always entertaining and when being a bit drunk just chilling in front of a slot machine with friends is fun too, especially for not losing too much money at once. When playing online however I prefer table games. Slots are good too, but somehow I tend to always lose money when playing them so I kind of stopped to play them for a while. I tend to only play slots these days when there are some promotions or bonuses for playing.
3610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: April 09, 2021, 04:59:53 PM
snip~
Another good option would be if the campaigns paid a percentage of the tokens in their project's coin, as they currently do, and another percentage in an existing currency like btc, eth, ltc, doge, etc... This way everyone could promote the project knowing that minimum payment (btc, eth, ltc, doge...) would be guaranteed.
I knew that few project initiated signature campaigns based on this ideas but as most of the signature campaigns it was just existed for short term and the trend forgotten by the people later. Bounty is completely a different story where people blindly promote everything and anything with no assurance of getting paid but after 100 failures and scams still people are doing it. Sad

There are quite a few long term signature campaigns on the forum too. It probably just depends on the person if he prefers bounties or signature campaigns, or even both. If we enjoy gambling and using the gambling forum it's a good idea be with a casino signature campaign. The small funds we get each week can make a huge difference got our gambling bankroll. Especially when bitcoins are trading around 60,000 USD than a few Satoshi can help to recover from some gambling bad beats.
3611  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don't judge people based on 'appearance' on: April 09, 2021, 04:55:04 PM
I believe it's the Will of our CREATOR (GOD) for those who do HIS Will to be here in cryptocurrency space and help develop true crypto to something good and very useful.
Beware that the "enemy" will constantly try to get you feel guilty even if what you do is ok.  If what you post and promote is harmless to people and approved by GOD then don't feel guilty about it. They will always find things bad about what you do no matter where you work. You could start promoting Fruits and Vegetables today and they would get you to start thinking that fruit/veg is evil, or maybe use bad names for the fruits and vegetables.
It is part of their war strategy, so ignore and always ask questions to be sure you are doing what is right.

I don't know much about others, but my main purpose of remaining in Crypto space is to help build the right tech that will help people during the time of serious crisis. So, we need to keep contributing and solving problems. You will know when the "time" comes, and there will be safe and decentralized tech people who listen to us will rely on.

I agree, we should be looking deeper than the first appearance. My aunt used to say, never judge a book by its booklet. So if we believe in God than we also need to believe in crypto currencies. God created everything, including cryptos. Being against something new without given it a chance and trying it out is wrong.
3612  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TWO PARTY SYSTEM; The Best? on: April 09, 2021, 04:45:53 PM
Many scholars of politics have proven that two party systems are the best, but in my opinion I don’t think it is the best because it doesn’t really give room for proper democracy  because it’s just two persons that stands the chance of contesting for elective offices, the aspirants just come from two parties only and it makes democracy unbalanced in the society.
In a democratic state I think it’s perfect for multi party systems to  take effect and come to stay because looking at the society generally you will see so many are interested and loved by their people but they ain’t given a voice simply because they’re not well connected. Multi party systems allow the grassroots movement have a strong voice and high level profile.

The two party system has a lot of advantages but I believe that it is not the optimal system. Having a two party system feels a bit like looking at everything in black and white, you are either for something or against it. But the world is not black and white, there are plenty of grey areas. Having more than 2 parties, like maybe 4 or 5 would make if easier for the voter to fully identify with one party.
3613  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid virus 2021 on: April 09, 2021, 04:42:48 PM
maybe the vaccine supplied in your country is not enough or the vaccines effect is slow and that makes you think that the cases is continued but give your government more time to accumulate more vaccines and for the effects of the vaccine to take place and you will see that the cases are going to stable and decline .
at the moment if its not needed , we shall stay inside  .
its possible to find a job online if no one is working in your family .

It all depends on how fast we can get more vaccines produced. Israel already reached herd immunity, UK is expected to do so in the next weeks. The more people are vaccinated the higher the chances for our countries to go back to normal. There are already 10 vaccines being produced around the world. We should just determine the most efficient one and mass produce it in every country.
3614  Economy / Economics / Re: Where the correction ? on: April 09, 2021, 02:51:45 PM
to be honest , i just invested all of my money into crypto on the middle of november , as we see now , everything go green , i even got 12 X ROI just for hold crypto like EGLD,INJ,CAKE,XVS, the question , where the correction , it is the party will be over soon ? or it will be bigger since as we know recently big company like TESLA even accepted bitcoin , or its just fake bull ? if yes , i cant imagine how big the correction will happen.

It is has been a few month now since Bitcoins rallied so much. So far there was no really correction which is a good thing. Seeing Bitcoins trading on above 50,000 USD for so long just seems like the new normal to me. In my opinion we will not experience a big correction any time soon. Let's all ahope the party will go on until next year.
3615  Economy / Economics / Re: Janet Yellen to call for unified global corporate tax rate on: April 08, 2021, 03:21:56 PM
You can not call for a global unified corporate tax rate when you are not fully aware of the economic state of other countries,  there are many countries who's economic are in a bad state and needs the support of advanced countries like the USA for continuous survival, how do you tell such countries to increase tax rate from 21% to 28%, maybe with the 21% tax most companies already producing at loss, some must have fold up and seek better alternatives elsewhere,
I don't see many countries accepting this call, otherwise that will mean a deliberate economic self destruction. The earlier they forfeit this ridiculous idea the better for everyone.

I agree, it's just not feasible to create a global unified tax scheme at the moment. Countries are just to different. Sure the USA is hurting when their companies keep money overseas but there is no real alternative at the moment. I would never expect small countries to change their tax laws to help USA. For example Ireland, a very small country that has no real exports. There is no chance this country could survive on its own. They need their low tax rates so companies stay in Dublin. One address is the home to 10,000+ companies, most of them just shell companies. But still, its very important for these small countries.
3616  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your constructive hobby? on: April 08, 2021, 03:13:57 PM
I am looking for a new hobby myself, something productive I can do on the weekends to pass the time and maybe earn some money to invest in crypto coins. I thought about repairing some bycicles but there open quite a few shops lately on my city. Anybody has some recommendations?
3617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most entertaining Twitch gambling streamer? on: April 08, 2021, 03:10:57 PM
Not sure if you count this among your gambling streams but I started to watch lately the official pokerstars streams on twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/pokerstars). There are quite a few high roller tournaments that are being covered. Looking at the final table actions is a good way to improve my own game. For some people it might be a bit slow just looking at one table but if there are price jumps of a few 100, 000 USD I expect the players to play their A game.
3618  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment the way to economic stability on: April 08, 2021, 02:56:11 PM
You don't have to be earning $1m before you be rich you can have that amount and if you don't have a good investment platform it's very possible that you'll return to the broke stage you left. The importance of investment is so clear that I get shell shock when I found out many people don't even have an idea about that talk more carrying out. For instance covid-19 took everybody unaware many lost their job, financially people and organization was affected, but let me tell those who had a good investment platform will not be affected that much, many think you need a huge amount of money before they could consider doing investment.
You can stay with a little but if you can discipline yourself couple with you having a good investment platform that implies you're already planning for Future.
The role of investment can't be over-emphasize, we all should  cultivate that habit and most importantly we should read to k or consult an expert so you can be assured you're doing a nice investment.

I fully agree, if we can't make 10,000 USD grow than we probably can't grow 1 million either. We need to follow a strict investment plan to protect our funds. The only difference is that with 1 million we could outsource the investing much easier. With such kind of money we are a complete different customer to the bank than with our small portfolio. But even if we have an investment manager we need to understand the basics so we don't get scammed.
3619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are good for investing? on: April 08, 2021, 02:51:41 PM
Hello all,
If one wants to invest a small amount of money in the cryptocurrency, then which coins are good? I mean is something about $500. Are Tron, EOS, Ripple and Stellar good?
I have another question: Can Ripple win the court? When is the next Ripple court?

Any idea welcomed.

Thank you so much.

Ripple is good for investing in my opinion. But if you are looking for a coin with a lot of long term value and not much need for trading I would also take a look at ETH. In my opinion this is still one of the best alt coins out there. The price is quite high but there is still a lot of room for appreciations.
3620  Other / Off-topic / Re: How connected are you to the Matrix? on: April 08, 2021, 02:47:44 PM
Unfortunately I am still using Google which probably the central hub of the matrix
For me the matrix is the Internet with global tech companies being in control. But I do use a VPN, does it help? Or I am still being controlled by the architect?
