3601  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are any mainline stores accepting BTC on: May 03, 2021, 09:34:35 PM
Once again, I'm wondering how to spend some bitcoin. I paid a fee to buy it, and to convert it back into cash is an even larger fee. I have yet to find a store accepting it.
I don't mind watching it go up in value, but times are tuff, and that's why I invested a little in BTC.
What is the end game when we sell??  Does the tax man take most of it ?
My 3 banks I deal with won't accept transfers from crypto exchanges . I don't want to convert it to cash if there are merchants accepting it .
How about Amazon??
When it comes to major retailers or companies accept bitcoin atm.

https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/who-accepts-bitcoin/

Just look into those but if you dont find one on what you do need or you do just basically prefer on buying near side your local then better to wait
if you cant find one because bitcoin isnt globally adopted yet so you can really expect that it isnt available in every corners of the world.
3602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manga Betting on: May 03, 2021, 08:52:48 PM
I want it more of like a personal/informal betting
then go for it. I doubt the manga author would want to manipulate the story in order to mess with your bets  Cheesy
For sure that will really be the case and its still hard to trust up with these kind of betting where bets can easily be fucked up depending on the mind of the writer.

Come to think that each decision would really be possibly be altered nor get affected with several external involvement neither it would be personal or really make out some intent for the
sake of making more money. So i dont really see this to be that appealing due to those very common reasons.
3603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC price is affecting your? Tips and ideas you must know (for newbies as well) on: May 01, 2021, 09:41:12 PM
Looking at the price of Bitcoin every seconds of your life is not advisable, it can really create stress, panic, and FUD so if you’re holding bitcoin better to at least monitor the price once a day and limit your exposure in the market if you can’t still control your emotion.

We experience so many bad days with cryptocurrency and with Bitcoin, but looking at the position that we’re into right now, you can realize that there’s always a bright tomorrow with bitcoin. Its ok to ask for a help so they can guide you and they can calm you every time you feel bad with the price of Bitcoin. My suggestion would be, invest only the money you can afford to lose and don’t depend on bitcoin alone, you have to create multiple source of income.
I can already consider myself to be a crypto addict because there's no particular day which i havent checked out the market price from time to time.I dont like to miss out
even with the slightest movements that had made specially into bitcoin and also with other coins as well on where i had invest. There's no doubt that it could really create
some stress or panic when you do saw that it is declining and this is where people self control will vary because we do have different reactions and actions to be made
when we do experience such scenario or situation this is why it will really be varying into someone.
3604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos: Internal notifications, message inbox vs Email. on: May 01, 2021, 08:50:50 PM
--snip--
but basing on observation where internal notification is already a standard one on most gambling sites and it would be good if you can switch up in between depending
into your own preference because some of gamblers are really keen on checking out their mails or being active and some do just directly depend on what
they do see on that notification icon.

Dependency also truly depends on the gambler who frequently checks his emails if not visiting the gambling site too often. But if he doesn't even check his emails regularly, then it's the gambler who needs to be blamed at. I believe that sites must do like how Sportsbet does, Sportsbet just makes the notifications pop out whenever you visit their website which is quite good and attractive as well because it pulls the gambler to take interested into the notifications that what are they about, once he gets a glimpse of it already.
Its just normal for casinos to emphasize their promotions and bonuses on where it can really be seen nor get the attention of a particular user which they might have the high chance
on hooking them up to play with that said promotion or perks which means its into their advantage since house do always wins. When it comes to checking mails then not all would really
be having this kind of behavior this is why its already been a standard into these on site notification or pop ups which are common but having an option would really be great.
It is indeed a matter of preference on someone who'se in play.
3605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is dogecoin suitable for kids? on: May 01, 2021, 07:51:09 PM
I am thinking to teach my 8 yr old daughter about crypto. But past history riddled with illicit activity so I was thinking to open her a just dogecoin wallet and have her to learn to use it. Do you think it is suitable? Anyone done this? Or any risk?

Thanks.,

Dont see any risk as long you do able to explain to him on what it is all about.Explain the pros and the cons because even we do talk Bitcoin on here there are still some problems that your daughter would able to read on thats why explain to her everything so that he would be aware on what are the things is happening and she would know on how she would deal with it.Its actually good that at very young age you are already
aware with these kind of tech and the benefits that it can give and even myself would really be considering on teaching it into my sons and daughter once i do have one.  Wink
Its just good to see that they can make use and benefit when and do know the importance of decentralization.
3606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: May 01, 2021, 06:36:03 PM

However, that would drop from time to time so probably a $3 fee is still fine and will be confirm in less than 24 hours.
Sometimes you could get away with a $1 fee, I remember few days ago the recommended fee from electrum was hovering somewhere at 15-20 sats/vB.

Exactly, but as what I said, you need to do it with the right timing and patience is necessary.

However,  you also have a good point, not everyone can wait, some people just want to gamble right away and they will use altcoins instead rather than waiting until the fee of bitcoin will dump.

Not all would really be having that kind of patience which its true that some can wait and some cant.So its up to someones self control on when they would play in spite of the high fees.

We can really able to do so since there are altcoins but there are players whom do much prefer on using bitcoin directly when they do play which means its either they deal with the fee stuff
or would simply wait for the network to subside.

Actually this is a hard situation for gamblers whom do really make use of bitcoin because they would really be needing to deal with the fees.
3607  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will drop to 20k is not time to buy btc now on: May 01, 2021, 12:45:44 PM
You mean buy now even at a correction level is still a bad idea?, where are you from man?, i though buy at correction should be encourage than at bull-run. If bitcoin price drop to that level you predicted @- $20k, what "%" do you think we will be talking about?, it's better to wait for the 30% most of you predicted.
I think bitcoin is still possible to go down to the $20K level in the future, but not for now. Price increase are still possible at this time even though the market appears to be experiencing a correction. There is still a lot of support from institutional investor at the moment and therefore I don't think bitcoin price will drop below $40K any time soon. Some information says that Tesla sold some of the bitcoin they owned between January and the end of March and those are some of the reason why the correction occurred. I believe only big sale will bring bitcoin down to $20K.
When the price hits $47k in the last couple of weeks, it made me think that everything is really possible. However, if we see the price goes to $100k, I doubt that we can see the price sinking to $20k, there are a lot of support lines along the way, so I doubt that we can see that price again.

So let's hope that $100k will come first before $20k. And now that we are back to being bullish, let's hope that we won't see the price that low again.
We cant really remove the probabilities since we know that this market is way too unpredictable even though we can presume out that its way too far to go that far down then
you would really be worry if you do see the price is dumping again and its true that on the time bitcoins price hits up on that 47k low then there are people whom do really think
that it might be possibly we can see some another low price but its not a guaranteed though because basing off with strong supports then there are lots which are sitting beyond 40k-50k price
So its less likely that we can really see to go back 20k but dont expect or do make out some guarantee.
3608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are females welcomed in gambling thread? on: April 30, 2021, 11:53:41 PM
They can discriminate woman on physical gambling place like casinos or racing track but not online where things are more even females are very much welcome to join the discussions as long as they know what they are posting and they follow the rules and do not resort to insulting their co members, in fact it should be encouraged, online gambling is a growing industry and every gender and sexual preferences are very much welcome.
What are you talking about, why would anyone discriminate woman in a physical gambling places like casinos and racing tracks. We are not living in the ancient era while living in a free world where anyone can go out without facing any issues. There are many toxic things in the world but for majority there is no discrimination.
No discrimination? We do have several.

-Gender inequality
-Racism

You are right that there are lots of toxic things in this world and we shouldnt think off always that women are really very limited into some sort of things
which it isnt something that on that way. Females are always welcome because they could do on what men could do.
3609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL vs Staking, What is the best strategy? on: April 30, 2021, 10:02:18 PM
Better hold on yourself and make gains in the convenience of your own wallet and having the confidence that you wont be losing your coins as long you do keep your PK safe.
When staking then you do need to deposit those coins into third party which i dont see for it to be worth for the risk on just gaining a little amount on a specific time.
Just like what others mention then i would rather held it to myself than to risk it because you are aiming for some penny gains in a years time.
It isnt worth and better hold it off into your own wallet and earn for yourself where you can pull those profits anytime.
3610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This happened many months ago but still wanted to share. on: April 30, 2021, 08:45:28 PM
A very unpleasant situation, which is another reminder that you should always read the user agreement before using any gambling site.

In my opinion, the gambling site should have programmatically made it impossible to bet from the bonus account on the listed games and introduced the necessary limits. Otherwise it all looks very much like a not entirely honest business, with its creators covering their actions with a user agreement.
We should also understand that these gambling platforms are out for profits and nothing will give out profit "if" there are no traps set for those who can't read platforms TOS. Something like this happened to me some years back with some online courier company, after placing my orders with the best deal, i forget to read about their agreement and when the time of delivering came they sent me some messages that my country wasn't among the country for such deals, then, return my funds and my account was suspended till-date.
Not actually a trap because it had been said or mentioned in the TOS in the very beginning. Its just people who are neglecting on reading it up until they havent notice
that they had already violated the terms and expecting that they can really pull off those wins in the site until the management or admin will really make out some
hold of funds due to violation of terms and then suddenly they whine and telling the site is a scam or being shady but actually the main fault was actually
on you.So we should really be aware.
3611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BNB is at it's peak price? on: April 30, 2021, 07:32:49 PM
Holding is the best way to earn more profit from it.Have a look of current price of bitcoin. After the long term, the price of bitcoin had started to increase.BNB had started to increase to 600$,so holding in the pump is essential one.Panic selling is the mistake done by the new traders for the long term.It should be avoided to get more profit.Holding is the essential at the peak price.
Not all would really be having that kind of patience when it comes to holding their assets or coins into their own wallets on where to think that there are people who do really
mind off on making short trades for them to make profits in a short span of time thats why they are really mindful when it comes to short term trades and being
stressed out if the current price is on the peak or not.So positioning yourself will really vary or depending into ones analysis and if you do find out that if its still
not to late to get in with BNB then its up to your choice. So its your take.
3612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos: Internal notifications, message inbox vs Email. on: April 30, 2021, 06:26:54 PM
Every single casino in which I have played has those features, after all it does not makes any kind of sense to invest in all the features casinos invest in only to forget to add an effective notification system that lets the players know whats new with the casino, they will be wasting their time and money if they did not do something like this, after all even if we like gambling it is not as if we are going to watch what the casino does 24/7 and know everything that is happening with it because we are playing at the casino all the time.

That's what I look for whenever I join a casino whether they have a different area specifically for notifications or not because if they don't have, chances are they won't even allow sending messages to my email about the promotions and I'll need to look out for such things on my own and I'm not that active on all these gambling sites always, so I believe that I shouldn't miss some major events especially free bets which I love the most!
I believe that most gambling sites do already have this feature on where you can neither choose up if it to be on internal notification or would be sent out into your email
but basing on observation where internal notification is already a standard one on most gambling sites and it would be good if you can switch up in between depending
into your own preference because some of gamblers are really keen on checking out their mails or being active and some do just directly depend on what
they do see on that notification icon.
3613  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: simple technique of selling high and buying low. on: April 29, 2021, 11:35:05 PM
Simple technique but would really cost you if you dont able to done it well.Due to unpredictability then guessing price would be the main play on here.
We are keeping on guessing on what would be the next movement on next minute, hour, day or months. Also not all are active traders because there
are whom do focus out on hodling or making swing trades and not doing any active trading techniques.Usually people do commit on the opposite
manner or result on which they have sone Buy High Sell low and this is on the time where people do panic on.
3614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 29, 2021, 09:59:32 PM
~
You wouldnt know unless if the fans or the people whose seeing it would able to notice or simply tells that you can point out that theyre rigged when its happening but if its not then
there's no way that a potential match could really be rigged later on thats why we do make out our conclusions basing on real events or experience.Rigging is already bit known
but only on smaller leagues and cant really much seen on big or higher tiers leagues because they wouldnt risk out on getting caught
because they do know on what would be the consequences next.

True that. And what I like about this situation the most is that we don't have to rely on honesty of those organizations. What we can rely on is the fear of being caught and the high probability of being caught in cheating with the current technologies.

The said fear that being created after this exposed will warn everyone who are involve to this kind of illegal activities inside the league. They are being eyed and monitored.

The domino effects will increased the vissibilities, fans and all league officials are eyeing to catch out more people who still dealing with sports rigging.

We will see more and this is not the last of hearing this kind of events inside any sports leauge.
They should really be careful but honestly why would they really make out rigged games if they can actually make money legally? Or they are just too greedy
and finding other source of income or revenue which is more that they do earn on that typical contracts or some sort.Of course once there's one had already been
busted then expect that they would really be watched and monitored specially if there are recent issues about rigging.Officials would surely be keen on finding
possible next situation that might happen next.
3615  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: April 29, 2021, 08:59:31 PM
sooner or later the price of Bitcoin all depends on how big the market demand. as we know in an instant the market price movements can change quickly, just like Dogecoin which is controlled by large investors is able to affect the market price in a short time. the point is the market price can be easily manipulated by a group of people or someone who has large capital
well, sooner or later. however, we can think about what the potential price of bitcoin is at the moment, but we never know when the time is right for that. however, I expect the bitcoin price to reach that price this year. the potential is still very large even though at the moment the price looks like it is struggling to maintain its $ 55k range.
Its really hard to tell since no one could able to predict the future but  honestly we didnt really anticipate for bitcoins price to achieve this price we havent expect since we are
just struggling back in 19k price and have a hard time on breaking its ATH but now here we are ranging into 60k.For now the best thing we can do is to secure out our positions
and hope that the price would reach out further heights for us to make more money or profits but always be mind off about the probabilities of losing because market
cant really just be moving on one way but rather you can possibly lost if it turns out to the opposite side.
3616  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: April 29, 2021, 07:32:24 PM
Roobet have reasonably low withdrawal fees and $10 is minimum that can be withdrawn that is probably one of the best from casinos.
If we look at sports betting websites Sportsbet dominate with free deposits and STake is also good with, but I would rather look fees only in BTC because of high volatility.
Some websites also have integrated exchanges so you can withdraw in other coins to save on fees.
^ $10 is not reasonable on my side and probably from free withdrawal to $5 withdrawal fee is the right reasonable one.
I had rather choose a gambling site that has a free withdrawal even though the minimum that you can withdraw is quite a huge require amount, no one will withdraw a dust amount from the gambling site, and $200+ is quite a good amount to harvest from your gambling wallet. However, we saw that each gambling site has its own perspective way of having a withdrawal fee, I just wonder how they manage that system if that BTC network is congested then they have a free withdrawal, which means they will cover the cost of the fee. Well, that will pretty much lure gambler I think.
No, he do talk about minimum withdrawal amount not the fees which i dont see a problem because its just minimal unlike those sites having $100- 1000 minimal which is too big
for someone who do only gamble out with small amounts and about the fee then there are ones who do really offer free ones and as you mentioned about paying it up on their
own expense then it would be most likely to happen specially if to those players who do tend to withdraw using up BTC and when network is congested and since they do offer
free fee then thats the cons of it and for sure they are really aware on that one.
3617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cars That Can Be Purchased with Bitcoin on: April 29, 2021, 08:47:36 AM
Auto company start adopt cryptocurrency as payment, while adoption just in America, we can wait for another company adopt cryptocurrency as payment.
The more adoption of cryptocurrency will make its prices to the moon. BTC $100k its not just a theory

When we do talk about reaching those new heights then of course we would really be needing some big news like these on where big companies would join up on the bandwagon.
How much more if Toyota,Mitsubishi,Honda,Hyundai and other car companies which arent solely big in America but in other big markets as well would make some move?
For sure  that would really be a good trigger out for the market to rise up even more higher. Its good to look at that there are already several
companies specially Tesla do made out its move.
3618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 28, 2021, 11:18:24 PM
~I agree with you, in the past a lot of fix games are happening that we don't know because we don't have an advance technology. Now, that we have cameras that we can close up and review how the players perform in the floor, it would be easy to detect if players are rigging games or not.

Maybe we didn't get interested with sports rigging issue that's why we got surprise with this news.
~

I think the decrease in the number of fixing matches is declining not because of progress and improved fixation systems, but because the business is becoming more civilized. Everyone understands that fair play will bring the maximum amount of profit over the long run.

I can't disagree with you on that. Indeed playing fair is profitable in the long run, and civilized people know this fact and don't try to rig the games. However, if we think of why it is profitable, it is because once you've got caught cheating - you are out of the business. And the likelihood of being caught has increased sharply with advanced technologies.
We know that rigging games happens however many people are just as good as society demands from them, if the penalties for rigging games are too small then players will rig games knowing the consequences are small in the case they are caught, and if the league does not have the resources or the interest to investigate this then the chances for rigged games go up, this is why there should not be any kid of tolerance for incidents like this as it only generates more corruption in the sport if it is tolerated.

It's actually good that we discuss rigging games, at least people would be aware that it's happening in any sport and in any location. Once we are all aware of a possible rigging of games, we would not be too confident to follow public opinion especially if we are a bettor. Though it's happening or it happened, we still can't conclude that the sport is corrupt as there are other leagues that are not rigged.
3619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my trading is a fail help me, thanks on: April 28, 2021, 10:29:17 PM
If you are not a good daily trader, it is best to find yourself a different strategy, keeping for the long term is a strategy chosen by many people.
Don't try to join signal groups, most of them are scams and you only lose your money.

I would not be so straightforward. Yes, if your trading skills leave much to be desired and you are not sure about them, then you definitely should not trade for large amounts, however, you can use a small deposit or trade on paper until you gain enough experience. Also, I cannot say that you should abandon trading groups, that is, signal groups. I'm not saying that you should blindly follow them, but you can just trade on paper and check a similar group in parallel, and then post information about it here on the forum, it will be useful for everyone. There are scammers all around and the more we know them by sight the better.

Dont limit out yourself when it comes to various sources online because even though most of them are shit but there are some information which is valuable or really worth for you to check out.
As a noob then we do start on being too confident and once we lost some money or capital then thats the time we do make out some self realizations on where we can start and be more careful on
this time since we had already experienced that this isnt something simple that you can deal with. Its just sensible if you do make use of smaller amounts when we are just starting
rather than on putting big amounts on initial tries and eventually end up on losing.Well its inevitable but it would be worth that you should be mindful with your initial steps.
3620  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: April 27, 2021, 11:42:09 PM
Can confirm that Nitrogen has been offering one free withdrawal per week for a while now.

However, I do believe that they have a 100% wagering requirement before you are able to withdraw your funds. So don't go onto Nitrogen expecting to use it as a wallet - and I'm pretty sure that this applies to any casino that has free/limited free withdrawal per week.

Just dumb for someone to make gambling sites as a wallet because its not really intended on that way and once they have stuck funds into the site because of wager requirement
then thats the time they would really be realizing that they shouldnt have done that.

If I'm not mistaken on Stake, regardless of the current BTC price or current network fee, it will stay on BTC0.0002 no matter what.
I havent tried stake but if they do have that fixed fee on btc then i would skip on playing this site for now.
