4581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello traders on: June 23, 2018, 05:16:11 PM
Im working long hours everyday and dont have the time to study technical analysis..so what I did is I bought coins during bearish time .but when I check them back the value goes even dipper..what should be the best thing to do..apply a cutloss strategy or just leave them until the market goes bearish again?
Studying technical analysis doesnt really require too much time yet those things are definitely can be found by just simply google search. If you believe on buying on the dip but the price gets deeper then you dont have any choice but to hold up and dont risk to panic sell. Price will eventually recover on a particular time but if you do always mind that thing you are just stressing yourself out.
4582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which one is better; to buy token or to do bounty? on: June 23, 2018, 02:59:08 PM
Hi I want to hear your opinion about this. What do you guys think about investing in a project by buying their token or by participating in their bounty program. Which one do you think pays more?
With just common sense you can actually answer this question or stuff. As an investor you would always have more tokens compared to those people who do join up on bounty programs considering that total allocation for bounties isnt really that high which means investors would always have more tokens depending on the amount you had invested but the thing or question on this situation is on the profits you do made. Investors of project cant assure anytime to have profits but bounty hunters can earn money only with the task they do have done.
4583  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 24-Apr-2018] on: June 22, 2018, 10:14:49 PM
New signature campaigns managed by yahoo62278 MOZO and ivyKoin Signature and Avatar Campaign
These campaigns were already full quickly.
There's a new campaign but I don't think if its worth it to add it here since the campaign is managed by a newbie account with no escrow or even an ANN thread.
You mean this one? [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN] BTCOON.COM . The poster is a newbie and unprofessional, I even saw the spreadsheet as a malware told by the forum so I think OP is just trolling or trying to phish. Anyway he is tagged already.
Just having those common indicators missing out. We will able to tell that signature campaign is total fraud. Newbie+ w/o escrow then that red paint is just right for him.

For yahoos campaign even it would have 200 spots it would filled out quickly. Basing on the rates given then its somehow anticipated. Sorry for derailing this thread.  Grin
4584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CENTRA CTR SCAM - Founders Arrested on: June 22, 2018, 09:26:29 PM
Finally, vindication has come for members of this community who stuck by their guns and called out CTR for what it was; a scam.

Also, never trust celebrity endorsement: https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2018-53

CTR tokens are now in freefall: http://www.coinfox.info/news/9186-centra-founders-arrested-in-us-token-dips-by-60

I think 90% ICOs are scam - who is next will be arrested? Maybe Crypterium, Monaco because they offer similar investment ideas
98% would be more considerable for ICO to be scammed. I do feel happiness when these kind of arrest to those founders had been done. Hopefully they would make such action anytime for a project to become scam.

Feel so sorry for those who bought this coin, I think it's time for regulations to come into crypto , the fact that a celebrity is shilling an ico does not make it a genuine one,  I hope people will be able to learn from this
This is the part of risk on investing thru ICOs where anytime you do really have the risk on losing money on investing to fake projects and just being said Celebrity advertisements wont really guarantee you about legitimacy.
4585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: June 21, 2018, 08:43:58 PM
Day trading is cool if you know what you're doing cause it can get you rekt at any mistake, and requires constant attention. Basically the best thing do is day trade a few coins and then hold the the potential coins which have solid projects behind them.

What you think how many people knows to trade!? Many people here seems to like day-trading, but how much of them have
enough knowledge to make profit from that?
Day trading should be fun activity for most of the people. Hobby, nothing more. I`m a long-term holder, investor. I started with
buying and earning more then a year ago and I`m still doing that. I haven`t intentions to stop before 2020, I hope next huge
wave will wait me to buy on this low prices.
Day trading wont really be fun after all since this is very complex way on doing trading which we do involve on a very volatile market and making decisions into a short period of time which i do see a very stressful and non-enjoying thing on my part. We do know the level of risk is high compared into just holding it all. This is the difference among them but we know Higher risk means higher profit but only a few do able to succeed or retain to make money with day trades.
4586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: best coins for Scalping trading on: June 21, 2018, 04:51:13 PM
if you Scalping trader what is the best coine you trade with it daily
NPXS would be good based on my own experience yet im doing it now its being hyped up and the volatility is good where a scalper can able to utilize such movements but i would tell if you dont have any skills or idea on how to scalp then better not to proceed because this is the most riskiest way on making profits you are dealing with short timeframes but talking generally when you do seek out for coins then always select out to those who do have a big volume inside on 24 hour period.
4587  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-17] Bitcoin Price To Reach $60,000 In 2018 on: June 18, 2018, 08:36:58 PM
BITCOIN PRICE TO REACH $60,000 IN 2018 — CRYPTOCURRENCY EXPERT REMAINS RESOLUTE ON JANUARY PREDICTION

He says, "‘It's going to disrupt everything."

http://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-price-to-reach-60000-cryptocurrency-expert-remains-resolute-on-january-prediction/

Just went through the information said by Nunn the CEO.  His prediction yes came true in the mid of Feb 2018 and believe that the bitcoin price will reach $60k by December 2018. The first half has been the days for investments not for profits.  Hope he second half goes as per Bunk's prediction and minimum reaches $3k by end of this year contributing a huge profit to every bitcoin holder.
No prediction would always be accurate and some of them do just happen or coincidence where they do said out price range and bitcoin goes that way. They are given some credits but not totally an assurance thing that they can already read up on where would prices would go. $60k by the end of the year seems really a very hard thing to achieve if we do base up on current bitcoin price movement. Even breaking out $10000 price is already hard but who knows? We will reach up that price range but we should not expect too much.

3. Some airdrops send us an email to KYC and follow us to a fake side.
They are only collecting information from their airdroppers and everyone should be warned and aware about that.

Don't be also get fooled if they are asking airdroppers to pay or send a little amount of ETH direct to their address, it's a scam. Airdrops should be free and without payment.

Also don't give them your private keys if they ask to.

Yes, you'r right. In airdrop, we must say NO with fee, private key
There are also incidents like what I've read that they are asking to send some GAS so they can send back those tokens.

I don't know much about that thing so do everything with care and diligence.
Ive seen those situations too which you would need up to send some fees or amounts for them to able to push transactions on sending out tokens but i do see really a dumb thing to do. Airdrop would always been free and this is one of the ways on how to market their tokens.Theres no point on asking out fees because this would really be their obligation and they should have the fund for them to make use of it.
4589  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What caused the run up to $19k and why the next run will be just as quick on: June 17, 2018, 06:10:48 PM
A new Cryptocurrency Market podcast that focuses on the latest news surrounding the market. Talking about what caused the run up to $19k and why the next run will be just as quick. Also, discuss the futures market and how that plays into adoption and price.

https://soundcloud.com/buy-or-sell-what-the-hell/bitcoin-futures-manipulation-and-binance-coin might seem a bit boring but you won't find much more level-headed talk about the current state of the market and Bitcoin's place in it.

Is there interest in a no bullshit trading and investing focused podcast?
You cant expect any other words for this one which you would normally heard of about that bullshit trading and any fundamentals because this is usually the basis why prices do moves that way. Manipulation or not the thing for sure why we do rise up on those days is on where demand is rising normal for price to rush it up but the question would still remain if it would happen once again or not on this year. No one knows but on my own view its hard to believe that we would hit up that historic moment to happen once again.
4590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Trade on the news! on: June 17, 2018, 05:21:49 PM
Crypto market is highly sensitive to news and rumors. News do have an important impact on the price movement. But the action should be taken at early as possible as you stated. The simple declaration of the positive news brings an instant pump and one could cash out on that opportunity if the step taken is on time. If you come late at the party, it is better to not invest after 20%-30% rise because after that there is more chances of a dump.
For experienced traders there would be always a saying "Sell on the news" which should really be done and if we do try to observe if theres a particular news on a certain date. Price do dumps out instead of market pump. This is usually happens where most or some of them are knowledgeable into the things they must supposed to do if news would be there. You are right market is way too sensitive when it comes to fundamentals which you should really take the opportunity to make such actions to be profitable.
4591  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining Platform Name? - Money back on your investment on: June 17, 2018, 04:31:09 PM
I am trying to get back into cloud mining again.  I remember a few years back I heard about a cloud mining company that gave your hashrate, and then after the mining contract is up, they get 100% back of their initial investment?  It was either that or the after the end of the mining contract you get to keep the equipment or something?
Times have changed, update your dictionaries to find and replace the word 'Cloud-Mining' to 'Shit-Tier-Ponzi Schemes'. Should you successfully do that, you'll get an idea how to proceed because there is no such thing as '100%' return on the investments.
100% with cloudmining would really be a struggle and reaching out to break even seems very impossible to reach out now because of the mining difficulty and with just basing with those numbers you can able to find out to yourself that it isnt really worth to invest and having a simple calculation would already give you the idea if you would gain profits or not but sadly most people do miss out this one and still believe on profitability which is just possible into those earlier years but now its a different story.

1. 50% project about ETH platform is scam or trash due to the fee of creation (it's too cheap).
Ill say it would be more on 95% of them are complete trash where coins used up erc20 token platform. We have seen they are flooding the entire market using up the same which same as you said creating a coin is too simple.
Quote
2. Some airdrops require us to charge fee GAS before they pay airdrop coin. We should care with it.
Only dumb persons would send ETH to those scammers pretending that they need gas to send up those tokens. When we do talk airdrops then its completely free and anything that do charge is complete scams.
Quote
3. Some airdrops send us an email to KYC and follow us to a fake side.
KYC for Airdrops is bullshit.
4593  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: risk in hodling and trading strategy on: June 15, 2018, 08:20:38 PM
It's just much healthier to trade. Holding in crypto can be a really hard mental task, even more than trading. When trading, as long as you are doing it right, you always set a stop loss, you know that even if you fail 1 or 2 trades, you only lose a set % of money, you can even lose 5 trades, 10, 20, it doesn't matter as long as you are using a good risk reward ratio.
Not only a hard mental task but also a very stressful thing on the same time. When you witnessed anytime on how the price swings either on bitcoin or on other altcoins in the market you will really be bothered when you check out prices.Holding do really give a positive thing but not anytime because most coins in the market doesnt have thave that potential to increase its price on longer runs.
4594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should BTC rise for the World Cup? on: June 14, 2018, 07:31:49 PM
In three days, the 2018 World Cup will be kicked off. This is exciting. This means that there will be a large portion of people who make money on gambling. This is a fortunate World Cup. Because they have cryptocurrencies, I think that BTC will increase the trading volume during some of the World Cup because of the amount of gambling, so the price will be raised. I hope so. ! Welcome to discuss!

Now it is already possible to answer the question with confidence. Price of Bitcoin has not grown, and the World Cup on football has already started. I think that between these two things there is no correlation.
Not even just knowing for this Event to come we can still answer this question with confidence because gambling industry or any events can really put a major impact on bitcoins price. Demand wont really be just enough for us to consider on what would possibly happen.Lets say there are people who do made lots of bets but it cant really make the price up. The true thing which can affect bitcoins price is the demand and full adoption. It do takes time and theres no need to rush.
4595  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitpanda Mandatory Verification Requirement -- What the F***? on: June 14, 2018, 05:00:33 PM
Nice to see support coming in here to respond. As I mentioned above, I was previously a verified user and am disappointed I cannot verify due to my country not listed on supported verifier lists. Isn't there a way around this?

While it's good to hear that crypto deposits are still possible, and the limits so far are not too bad, it's still a risk to use an exchange that could make changes without warning... I hope Bitpanda doesn't do this, the way other exchanges have in the past.
Whats done is done and cant turn it back the thing here is that they should really make a notice or announcement first for people or users to be aware on what would be only the countries are included on their list which means if a user do sees it he can immediately make actions that he would definitely move out his coins rather than on implementing or updating without further notice which would really definitely result similar on what happened to op. For now sending up ticket and waiting up for supports response related to this issue.
4596  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis bullshit? on: June 14, 2018, 03:24:30 PM
I am not yet sure if TA actually works with crypto currencies.
I haven't had any success with pure TA so far. However fundamentals and news seems to do better job at predicting the price of a crypto.

Or Am I doing it wrong? I tried a simple RSI strategy to trade and it didn't workout well.

Should I even bother with technical analysis when it comes to cryptos?
TA still works in cryptocurrency but 80% of the time is bullshit and your best bet is to always use your discretion with a very tight stop loss most of the time before making a trading decision.

This was what exactly brought me to the idea of a huge manipulation in the crypto space but I am not surprised since much of that should be expected in a new environment that is completely decentralized in a way, and sometimes, it is more like the whales always love giving the traders wrong signals, and once they hit the market, they gain a lot from stop loss being hit.
Stop loss is always been recommended into this cryptomarket and as a trader for you to avoid on being burned in the end. The thing i do like when i do trade up on here is that you wont able stop your negative floating which is unlike on forex once balanced or usd account is depleted it would automatically cancel out an order and leave you a burned account which do differs on here. Once you bought even though its negative as long you arent selling it its still not considered as loss. Technical analysis isnt bullshit but there are really times or most of the times it doesnt really work on what you are expecting.
4597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunter wallet on: June 11, 2018, 09:40:55 PM
Hai all hunters, sorry for the noob question (i am a noob)
Can you recomended me what the best wallet to use for hunting bounty?
Inspite on having a full member account on this forum you do still consider you self as a noob? 6 months on crypto would be sufficient enough to know these basic things. Not to be rude but this is part of the reality.Bounty hunting do usually project do make use of erc20 tokens or etherium based which means  erc20 wallets would be needed like myetherwallet, metamask etc. but yet there are tokens which do have different platform with significant wallet to be used on.

Well, if you are going to be transacting on localbitcoins while residing in the US, one has to make himself informed of the laws. I'm pretty much sure she was aware of the regulatory laws especially when it involved transacting more than $50000 to one person within 24 hours. FINCEN considers such action as a violation and she has to pay for it.
Definitely right. If you do make transactions specially on larger scales and you are fully aware on the current situation of law or regulation on where you do live then you do know on whats the risk behind it if you do tend to keep it secret or you didnt pronounce such thing. Once caught then expect the consequences. Its normal i guess for someone to face charges if you do break rules.
4599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to ask, what is the name of altcoins that can beat bitcoin on: June 11, 2018, 07:33:55 PM
so far there is no altcoins that can beat the bitcoins from the first rank of coinmarketcap, I want to ask you, what is the name altcoins that can beat bitcoin?
Wait! Ill seek and need to look into my crystal ball  Grin

This question is totally senseless yet no man can able to predict on the future but if we do just base on our own common sense on the current things happening on the market then its clear whose the strong contender that can really possible dethroned bitcoin into its current place which is ETH but still not an assurance thing to happen but theres a possibility or even on some altcoins in the market. No one really knows.
4600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy in or opt out? on: June 11, 2018, 06:49:44 PM
With the markets experiencing a fall that kicked in around 24-hours ago and Bitcoin falling down to the 6,700$ mark, would you buy in or opt out?
Why would opt out? If you are a trader you would really see this as an opportunity to buy back cheap coins in the market but well i cant blame people if they would really have hesitance on mind when deciding on doing such thing. Its your choice as an investor if you can able to risk it out to invest even more or decide to set aside yourself into this falling market. We do have different views and decisions in life as long you do know on whats good for you then its your choice.
