3621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 19, 2021, 09:02:04 AM
IPL starts tomorrow in Dubai. First match will be played between MI and CSK. CSK is standing better than MI on the point table whereas MI are defending champions of the tournament. It would be interesting to see if MI can win the match. I hope IPL this time ends smoothly without any hiccups. Back to back T20 tournaments till the end of this year.

The momentum has been lost and it will be interesting to see which of the franchises can perform better in the second leg of the IPL.

It seems that if the series is paused and resumed after few months the momentum would be lost and there will be less interest. In reality this does not happen.
We have witness this in PSL where it was stopped coupe of times due to covid but then when it was resumed people showed same interest in the tournament. People want to watch their favorite teams and gamblers want to bet on the match. You will find there will be house full in the stadium too (provided crowd is allowed in dubai).
Yes, the momentum is lost but if you are cricket fan then you will watch these matches again. Anyways IPL is the only tournament that will be played from today and will end just before the T20 worldcup. You will have nothing else to watch in this period and automatically you will watch these matches.
3622  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Thread creation way to support the forum. on: September 19, 2021, 12:48:39 AM
There is no need to create unnecessary thread on the pertext of generating revenue for the forum. The forum has multiple ways to generate revenue. If you have a good topic to discuss then think about creating a new thread. Remember spamming and plagiarized content will always result in permanent ban. Hence, avoid such things if you want to stay here.
3623  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I the only one having this feeling?🤔🤔 ( #Bitcoin ) on: September 19, 2021, 12:23:31 AM
A lot of things changed in my life after I joined the revolution of the decentralized economy. Bitcoin not only changed the way I thought about fiat but also helped me to understand the hidden agenda of the banks. I would not say I have earned a lot but I can surely say I have learned a lot and still learning every day. This happened only because of Bitcoin and its creator.

3625  Local / India / Re: satoshis as reward points for fiat spendings on: September 18, 2021, 10:14:37 PM
To begin with, I am not promoting this platform but asking for opinions and reviews as to how good it can be.

I just came across this platform called GoSats which offers a debit card where the reward points are given in the form of Satoshis. I found this really exciting because getting satoshis for spending fiat sounds really cool to me.
Collecting those satoshis can someday become a big amount if we keep using the card. Also, when bitcoin price spikes up the value for these satoshis will increase as well.
Most of us here use debit or credit cards and we get reward points which we even forget sometimes. I am not really sure if this is a genuine platform or a scam.
But if this was genuine product I would certainly like to get my hands on this card. What do you guys think ?

The website is https://gosats.io/

Check it out and let me know your thoughts about it. I wish many such startups establish a wider crypto adoption in India.

I have been using this platform since last year. I did a couple of purchases using their app on Flipkart. Depending on the e-commerce website that you use you are paid a certain percentage of satoshi back in your account. It might take a minimum of 30 days to a maximum of 90 days for them to verify the purchase and pay you in satoshi. I really liked the concept and I did create a topic about this platform here.

Check it out - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5328618.msg56717350#msg56717350

Wow, that's amazing. Good to see that the site is still functioning as well as paying Satoshis to it's users.
Can you let us know if the free spin feature is working as of now ?
Also, would you recommend this to other users?
Is it worthy to spend 500 for this card and make purchases through this card ?
I like the idea of this card and wanted to know it's really worth it or just a waste of time.

On the app, I do not see the spin feature anymore. I think they have removed it and might add it in the future. I would not recommend yet going for the paid debit card. They have a free debit card, which you can apply but it has a waiting period. In the meantime, you can download their app and use it make purchase.

I am not able to see any free debit card on their website. They just have two cards. Intro and Elite.
Both the cards are paid cards. The intro card has a one time charge with the price of INR 499 whereas the Elite card is INR 1499 per year.
If you have a link or something for the free card then do share the link.
Also, I saw the app on playstore and noticed that it has a referral system as well. Just in case you want a referral you can shoot me a PM with the referral link.

Hey, I have sent you the referral link through DM. Yes, you are correct you need to pay a one-time fee of 499 but there is zero annual charges which basically means free. Wherein the other one you have to pay zero one time charge but there is an annual fee of 1499.
The Bitcoin deposit bonus for 1499 is INR 500 and for the other there is none.

I was recommending the 499 one to you as apart from the deposit bonus I do not think other benefits on 1499 are helpful at the moment.
There is a waitlist at the moment for 499 one.

I don't think that the PCB should expect a favorable decision from the ICC. The pig 3 (BCCI, ECB and CA) will be solidly supporting CNZ. Although it was unethical to pull out of the tour at the last moment, CNZ do have a valid reason for doing that. Now the question is whether the ICC will try to pacify the PCB by offering some financial assistance or an offer of playing the series elsewhere (UAE?). The first one looks unlikely as of now, since the ICC is short of funds at this point due to the pandemic situation.

I am surprised that you are still thinking that ICC would favour PCB. Nothing of that will happen now, they are busy preparing for the T20 WorldCup and moreover, except BCCI, ICC does not favour SENA boards. They will always favour CNZ as you cannot question security threats for players. CNZ should come out with a proper response as what they did was very shameful.

By the way, the T20 world cup is near and everyone must be thinking the Match on 24 October, 2021 between India and Pakistan will be the most hype match as usual.

This time we will have another deadly encounter on Oct 26, 2021 , the match between New Zealand and Pakistan.

The revenge time is  near as now we have two rivalries.   Wink

Yeah.. incidentally both India and New Zealand are placed in the same group as Pakistan. The first match will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, while the second one will be hosted at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The ICC always place India and Pakistan in the same group, because they know that's what the fans as well as the TV broadcasters want. Now it is entirely another topic whether Pakistan will be able to axtract revenge against these two sides. They've been in top form, but India always have an advantage as far as the ICC tournaments are concerned.

India and Pakistan are known arch rivals so ICC just cashes out that fact by placing both the team in the same pool. After yesterdays incident Pakistani will be more concerned about the match between Pakistan and Newzealand. Pakistan would want to win this match at any cost and they will surely be backed by Pakistan fans. But, if they lose then the disappointment level would be very high.

This is your first topic and as a newbie rank holder, it would be nice if you follow the rules. I do not think anything else needs to be mentioned here on how to promote your project the right way on BTT.
3629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 18, 2021, 12:43:26 AM
Probably New Zealand managements are too concerned about security after the government change over in Afghanistan and due to the support from Pakistan. I guess in recent times, South Africa and Sri Lanka toured Pakistan without any major security concerns but we cannot expect the same from England or Australia or New Zealand teams as they value security of their team the most. I guess after the Taliban government in Afghanistan both Pakistan and Afghanistan cricket may see some downfall due to participation of women in cricket. This way, cancellation of New Zealand tour to Pakistan might be a beginning point in this regard.

We all know that New Zealand's management team is very cautious about their players. They care about their players' safety and security very much. They are not going to tour Pakistan if they don't feel safe for sure. The political issue here is really important which concerns the New Zealanders. And there is also the issue of Coronavirus. New Zealand did tour Bangladesh and other countries but they are really unsure of the Pakistan tour. Thus this tour might just be canceled.

I understand that they are very cautious but why enter the country and then just before the toss cancel the match and the tournament. This is the reason everyone is questioning the intel input that they had received. They are now in Pakistan and if the terrorist wants to attack them they still can do it now. Pakistans reputation again has been tarnished and the amount of revenue loss for PCB is big. Next year Pakistan will be hosting the Asia cup. Now what happens to that is a big question?
3630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 17, 2021, 11:44:50 PM

No, you Endians should stop spreading your propaganda !! Its well known fact that Sourav Ganguly called the NZ Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and told her to cancelled the tour.

No please, Sourav Ganguly don't have guts to call the NZ prime minister.  It happened at the upper level  Smiley

The below picture tell you exactly how it happened.  Wink Cheesy Cheesy

Mudi shoud rejine  Grin Grin

BTW this is hilarious for anything wrong in Pakistan the official and unofficial stance is MUDI did it. Grin

The financial loss is big for PCB and Pakistan reputation has again been tarnished. I do not understand what intelligence input was provided to  NZ that they cancelled the match just before the toss. If there was an issue with security then NZ should not entered Pakistan in the first instance.

Pakistan vs Newzealand ODI series starts today. The match will be played in Rawalpindi Pakistan. I am not sure but I think this is the first time an international team will be playing in Pakistan this year. 3 ODIs will be played between them and I think Pakistan will dominate this series as it is played in their home ground.

Kohli stepping down from captaincy (T-20) after WC.

https://twitter.com/imVkohli/status/1438478585518456832

So the most important question arises. Who is going to replace him as the captain of the T20 squad? If they are going to go for Rohit or some other senior member, then I don't think that it will send the right message. I would prefer someone young, like Rishabh Pant or Shreyas Iyer. IMO, senior players like Virat and Rohit should concentrate more on ODI/Test cricket rather than T20. Anyway, I just hope that the new captain is not Hardik Pandya. He can be the worst possible choice, with all that attitude.
I think first choice is Rohit for atleast 2 years. Rishabh and Pandya are not in contest even in the worst scenario. Shreyas is good choice but he need to cement his position in the squad first. KL Rahul is strong candidate as well.

Since he mentioned his name in the tweet I also feel Rohit will be made the captain for the T20 team and most probably for one day too. Kohli took the right decision of quitting the captaincy he is a good captain in test matches and he should concentrate more on it. Now we need to wait and see whether he quits his captaincy in IPL too or not.
3634  Local / India / Re: India's biggest Bank will not allow you to use it's UPI for crypto purchase. on: September 17, 2021, 01:11:17 AM
I just came across this news on a reputable website. I am not sure whether any of you here are facing this problem. This happened because other big private banks have already implemented a ban. UPI does not fall under RBI's jurisdiction therefore you won't here anything from them. Here is a snippet from the article.

Quote
State Bank of India, India's largest lender, has blocked crypto exchanges from receiving funds via its UPI platform and has asked payment processors to disable SBI UPI on their platforms as well.

SBI's decision comes after a slew of banks imposed similar bans on crypto exchanges over the last few months. HDFC Bank, in May, had warned investors against dealing in virtual currencies, including bitcoin, and said that failure to heed the advisory may lead to the cancellation of their cards and restrictions of transactions.

What do you think will happen now? Are we again going back to 2018 when the RBI ban was implemented?
This is very weird, while on one side we are talking about right to banking as a fundamental right and talking about maximum financial inclusion, at the same time one bank abusing its power and authority is stopping a specific set of people to deal with it. First of all, I am surprised how is this not a violation of the Supreme Court order of RBI ban, more surprising thing is that even RBI issued a notice to the banks to obey the SC order, and still banks are playing these cheap tricks. I think P2P buying and selling is soon going to become the new normal in the Indian crypto space, moreover, this sort of shadowban directly means that the government isn't going to accept crypto at any means, I hope some association files a PIL against SBI's notice.

UPI payments do not fall under RBI jurisdiction. You still can buy cryptocurrency using IMPS services but not with UPI. RBI cannot do anything here as they do not control UPI and there is no violation of Supreme Court order as you are not being stopped to purchase cryptocurrency you are only being stopped to use one mode of payment system.
3635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 16, 2021, 01:58:48 AM
It is a complete whitewash, SL defeated by a comparatively new SA team. In just 20 overs they were able to score 120 runs, what happened to the SL batsmen. SL needs to find good bowlers as they had earlier. If this is the final team for the T20 WorldCup I doubt they will survive the knockout round.

It was really pathetic performance from the Sri Lankan team. They prepared pitches that provided unfair advantage to their spinners and yet got smacked by the South Africans. And look at the margin - 10 wickets!! Can there be a bigger humiliation? When part timers like Aiden Markram are picking up wickets, you know the quality of the track that they have prepared. Apart from Kusal Perera, none of the Sri Lankan batsmen contributed. And in the second innings, it was all Hendricks/de Kock show.
Does we will never again see Sri Lankan cricket the original way? It is doubtful how long they will last with this squad. SL lost by 3-0, which is not a good result the way they've played. It looks like Sri Lanka is playing a warm-up match, so they are not performing. However, both Hendricks and De Kock have an absolutely fantastic batting partnership at the top. With Kock scoring runs, South Africa is slowly regaining their original touch.
I have seen for long time that the Srilanka team are really struggling .They have good player but most of them are not performing well .Most of the player are not experienced but it is t20 where any team can win in this reason they are really playing bad cricket continuously .If they continue like this it will be so tough for them in upcoming world cup .On the other hand South Africa always a strong team they always play good cricket .I hope SL will improve their ability and come strongly on world cup.

I am surprised to see the South African team performing so well against Srilanka. Most of the players in this team are young and less experienced and after what all has happened with South African cricket and its board the team played well against all odds. It would be interesting to watch them play with other better teams in the upcoming worldcup.

Scammers are everywhere, you need to be cautious before and do the right thing as per the law in your country. Ideally anyone who is interested in buying Bitcoin should buy it from a reputable exchange but if your friend is selling you Bitcoin you would always believe in your friend. In my opinion that individual who bought the Bitcoin is not a fault. It is just a bad luck that he bought it from a scammer.

Is anyone watching the match of Bangladesh Under-19 Youth? Looking at their performance, it seems that they are very talented. They will lead the Bangladesh national team in the future if they are managed properly by the board.
Bangladesh U-19 team is playing against Afghanistan U-19 team. Bangladesh also won the previous match. In today's match, Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bat. They lost all their wickets to collect only 101 runs. For Bangladesh, Naimur Rahman has taken 4 wickets with only 14 runs in 10 overs.

I am not surprised by the poor performance from Afghanistan, because a lot of turmoil is now ongoing in that country. The players are not being able to concentrate fully on the game I guess. But both the matches were quite close. And Bangladesh batting looks very brittle. In the first match, they managed a total of only 154 runs, while in the second they lost 7 wickets while chasing 102. Afghan spinners (Shahidullah Hasani, Izharulhaq Naveed) caused a lot of issues for the Bangladesh batsmen. Three more ODIs remain. Let's see how Bangladesh fares in them.

The turmoil started on August 15th, what it has to do with their performance now? Will they be allowed to play the WorldCup is a big question mark? The British government has already said that they will not recognise the new government in Afghanistan. ICC might follow go ahead and ban this team from playing any kind of cricket in the future. This tournament might become their last.
