You can begin your works with signature on the forum then can decide to end it someday like eternalgloom The end of an era for me: Leaving Signature Campaign

There is no harm or threat to the community if you wear signature, avatar and at the same time, put decent efforts and make your good posts to help the community. If you feel you are under huge pressure because of signature, avatar, weekly post quota and feel like your post quality is decreasing, it will be a time to consider to halt your works for a while.

Could you add that detail into the article or at least leave a hyperlink to Affiliate page, please.
3724  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: September 28, 2020, 01:08:49 PM

This is the third club in Premier League: Watford, Southampton, Arsenal that Sportsbet.io has built up partnership with. It is impressive because this partnership was signed for 3 seasons, not a single one.

I visit the promotion page and this is what I found interesting besides betting. Jersey giveaways!

Will Arsenal's jersey has logo of sporstbet.io or Bitcoin on it?

I remember many reporting the same email thing on telegram but it's not that important I guess , I registered since pre-launch and at that time nobody was getting confirmation email
after the site launched I still haven't confirmed my email and now the only option I see is to change the email as well , but everything is working fine for me without verifying so I guess there is no need for it as long as you are sure the email is right with no typos ( anyways rep can give more info regarding that )
Thanks for bringing the Change email here. I have a question:
In the Credential tab, there is an option to ask changing email address:
Change Email
Enter your current email below and we will email you instructions.
- What sort of changes in email address will be accepted? (only limited to typos or without any limitation and user can change to totally different email address)
- How many times one user can change email address?

Email change can happen with compromised account so if one account is logged-in with strange geographical IP address, will it be locked?

Did you try to check promotion folder what arallmuus said? If not then try it maybe you can find the email. I have also got it in promotion folder

BTW if I am not wrong maybe you are wearing a wrong signature code. You should change it to correct.
I had the same verification email in Promotion, not in Inbox.

When I created account to submit my details for application in signature campaign, I did not check my email. Hours later, when I use my another computer, I tried to log in my account but I forgot one character and submitted "forgot password". This time, I check my email and see my verification email in Promotion, the support email for forgot password is in Inbox

Not everyone has 2FA, and SMS 2FA can easily be bypassed.

[BEWARE] Sim Port Attack. It is not only about SIM swap attacks but also about troubles when people can not receive SMS code when they need code for 2FA to log in accounts. Sometimes, SMS code is blocked by telecommunication companies or under new law enforcement from governments.
3729  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitamp Bitcoin Web Wallet - Send & Receive Bitcoin Instantly! on: September 27, 2020, 04:41:45 AM
Be cautious of crypto mining investment projects that mostly are PONZI, MLM. In the past, cloud mining services used to be a scam trend.

MLM – a dangerous marketing strategy
Cloudmining 101 (ponzi risk assessment)

I agree with Bitamp that if mining service claims to pay a fix profit rate despite of how the crypto market is, it is a likely scam project. In crypto, volatility is high, for bitcoin and even higher for altcoins so companies will take all high risks to their sides if they keep promises to pay a fixed profit amount for investors. It is not realistic in terms of company risk-cost-benefit management and in financial aspect generally.
3730  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 27, 2020, 04:35:19 AM
I'm really impressed with the promotion that Roobet is doing. I think their target is to get a total of 1 billion wagers later this year, it's very possible because of their great promotions, Art contests, Slot guesses, wager guess, youtube review, and some wild hunts.

Well the improvements is really positive, I think the tagline of their company really fits to them, they're the fastest growing casino recently, should it be thanked because of their great promotions? I guess so. Cheesy
I don't think their target is 1 billion wagers this year. I know that achievement can be good for the Roobet.com casino because higher wagers mean more gamblers and more gambling activities on their casino.

About promotions of Roobet.com that have been run by Hhampuz, I counted them all and there are 152 rounds of all promotions (all are managed by Hhampuz). 152 rounds for all types of promotions: signature, art contest, guess, etc.
3731  Other / Meta / Re: Can't post on Archival? on: September 26, 2020, 03:49:06 PM
I dunno and I don't find answer with search but I guess I have one reason for you.

Think of it logically, the Archival board has 2 main usecases:
- For Old stuff (that is what it is described for): I believe it is the most important usecase of Archival.
- For testing: I guess people also use it for testing. It is accepted but it is not the initial usecase of Archival.

If what I thought is right, you will be able to post in Archival after your activity is 1 (newbie rank with 1 activity point at least). You can test it by not posting more post. Simply wait your activity is counted as 1, and your rank becomes Newbie.
3732  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hacker blackmailing me and ask for money. Did you also get this email? on: September 26, 2020, 02:20:11 PM
If you receive such black emails, the first thing you should do is change passwords of your account on another device if you have.

However, remember this step does not truly help you because if you do it on your compromised devices, it does not make much sense. It is a very first step to prevent them attack your accounts immediately. So your new passwords should be wipen out later when you completely clear your devices.

How to clear your devices? Install good AV softwares. Scan all drives.

After scanning process, and delete all threats are detected, the next important step is install your operating system.

After installation finishes, rescan your devices with AV softwares again.

Last step is to change all your passwords again (no replicated formats, templates). Totally new passwords.

[GUIDE] How to Create a Strong/Secure Password

I agree with Jet Cash that I don't read emails from strange addresses.

If you care about your privacy, you would use Tor but there is annoying problem with Tor
The Brave browser also has "Tor mode", you can add it to the description if you like.

Brave browser is not good as they have claimed to be since their start. They arbitrarily require KYC and implement shady things. Their reputation is damaged from their shady developments. I don't recommend Brave browser. If need privacy protection, do it by using Tor browser (the best) or FireFox.

Brave browser hijacking links and affiliate codes!

I didn't find it either. Did you ask live support if they implemented that? They're very responsive and should be able to give you a quicker answer than forum users can.

If they don't have one you an always withdraw and use a cryptocurrency exchanging service, and deposit again. Withdrawal fees are minimal on Chips (2 mBTC), but I fail to see a practical purpose for swapping in-casino when all of the games can be played with each cryptocurrency.
I did not ask about it in live support on Chips.gg and I much appreciated your details on withdrawal fees. About swapping feature, indeed there are some casinos provide it. You know people tend to feel better if they bet with big amount (in number of coin). With the same betting capital in fiat ($100, for example), gamblers likely feel better if they use thousands of Dogecoin to bet rather than just a small part of BTC to gamble.

I don't know it is the most important reason for the popularity of Dogecoin on casinos but maybe.

Hello, OCTradism There is no swap feature available at the moment. However, a swap feature is in our future planned additions to the platform.
Thank you for the reply and good to know the swapping feature is already in your development plan.
3737  Other / Meta / Re: Why do everything security related gets posted in 'Beginners and guides'? on: September 25, 2020, 06:16:10 AM
Do we need a new section called 'security' or smth?
Security is basic and guides on security can be posted in Beginners & Help. I compiled that one Good topics on security and privacy and it is placed in Beginners & Help.

Quote
Cause I don't know every new malware, about phishing mails, phishing apps gets posted in 'Beginners and guide' section, I personally don't find it posted there being relevant.
Reports on phishing apps, sites should be posted in Scam accusations. News on phishing apps or sites can be shared in Beginners & Help but if one person detects a new phishing app or site, the announcement should be posted in Scam accusastions board.
3738  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Newbie Should be Careful When Received New Follower From Famous Bitcoiner on: September 25, 2020, 04:32:17 AM
The TwitterAudit.com is a good tool to detect fake or farm followers. It can be used as one of tool to detect scammers on Twitter. If followers are mainly fake it is not good.

You can randomly click on some followers to check their account ages and audit scores for those accounts too.

I am not sure scammers are readily to spend funds to buy followers (I doubt that they won't) but there is a site for Buying Twitter Followers with Twiends.com and you should know about it. It is easy to naturally increase your followers on Twitter so personally I don't use that service.

3739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Blockchain is the fastest as at today and has less failed transaction on: September 25, 2020, 04:12:18 AM
Fast, it seems everyone want to have anything is done as fast as possible. My topics can help you.

Comparative table on fees among some coins. Pick up one for your need.
ETH/ERC20 - Check and select good Gas price

But at the same time, things should be done safely and risk such as Replay attack should be considered.

You can visit coinmarketcap.com and get list of top coins. Among them, I would like to use Litecoin, Ripple for my transations. Months ago, I used Ethereum but now it is not a good one because of high fee from DeFi project hype.

The site https://www.crypto51.app/ gives you estimate on cost of 1 hour replay attacks. You should not choose altcoins with too low estimate cost of replay attacks because the risks of such attacks are higher and you might get troubles. Ethereum Classic (ETC) had replay attacks recent weeks and you can see the estimate cost is less than $3800 for one hour attack today.
3740  Other / Meta / Re: Forum account: security, privacy, and recovery on: September 25, 2020, 03:40:52 AM
This post from Welsh is very good for your forum account's sensitive data in PMs. I think everyone should spend time to read Welsh's post and check PMs and delete PMs that have sensitive information.

If your account unfortunately is compromised, you will not lose your sensitive data in PMs if you delete them. PMs will be only deleted all if sender and all receivers delete them all. It is difficult to ask receivers delete PMs in their conversations with you but you must do it from your side.

Probably the best thing to do if you're communicating without any sort of encryption. Delete any private/sensitive data just in case of a compromised account. I'd assume that this is sort of a unwritten rule with a lot of people who have done trades on here. A while back I started to delete all conversations unless they were important enough to warrant staying there, but those that are important are few, and far between. I ultimately stopped when it became quite tedious.

Nowadays, if I were in a trade, and someone had to give me their PO box, or address, maybe even their email address I'd probably delete them; same with names etc. However, keeping the trade details or the back, and forth conversation is probably a good idea as long as it doesn't have any sensitive data. At least, that's now my approach. I sort of have a spring cleaning every so often, where I will go through, and delete any PMS of outdated questions, or conversations which aren't related to a trade.

I don't there's anything worth saving outside of the forum for my own personal records though. Unless, I wanted to delete certain PMS on the forum, and only have a local copy to free up my inbox, but for me I don't see any particular gain from that except a nicer looking personal message section.
