3762  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have not invested in Bitcoin when it was 200 US dollars on: January 13, 2017, 02:25:47 PM
When I came to know about Bitcoin and other crypto currencies, the Bitcoin was 500 US dollars and slowly it fell to 200 US dollars. At that time I could not invest any thing in Bitcoins so I missed the chance now it crossed 1000 US dollars may be it can reach its peak of 1300 US dollars like in 2013 or may raise more than 1300 also. Once again it come down I wish to invest this time, I do not wish to loose the chance.

so do you want an advice or what ?? when bitcoin was 200 many holders were scared but the true believers picked more bitcoins
in general now is also considered a great time to buy , and it's never too late to buy bitcoins as long as you truly believe in it cause the trend should be up and up in the long run
3763  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏈🏀⚽ POWERBET.IO 🔹 100% First Deposit Bonus 🔸 Top Odds 🔹 Instant withdrawals on: January 12, 2017, 03:10:24 PM
I'm trying to understand how the first deposit bonus works but still unable to do that , so hopefully you can give me more details
I tried to place a bet with my bonus balance and an error showed up saying that I should bet my main balance first and that's the part that I don't understand
does it mean that for every bet with the bonus balance I should bet with my main balance first , or does it mean that I have to lose my main balance first in order to start betting with bonus

hey guys , I have been trying to open the wallet and stake as I do every morning but for some reason the wallet is not syncing today
it's showing that I'm behind 1360 blocks , and this didn't change since two hours so I don't know what to do
please tell me what to do or what's going on if you have the experience

http://imgur.com/a/Cle3c

I've just synched my wallet without any issue, so the blockchain is ok.

Looking on the picture you posted, I can see "Last received block was generated 4 seconds ago.", while the wallet is not synced in reality. Most probably it means your wallet had staked without waiting for the sync to complete... And you are now in a kind of "fork" created by your own wallet. Try to close the wallet, and reopen again 1-2 times (wait for 10 minutes each time). Your staked block shoud become orphaned, and wallet should start to sync. If it doesn't help, you would have to delete the blockchain files (save the wallet.dat!!!), and re-sync from scratch.

thanks a lot , yeah I tried a lot with my wallet but nothing worked so I deleted the blockchain files and synced it again
btw do you know how can I avoid such problem in the future ?? is it better to keep the wallet locked till it fully sync and then unlocked for staking ?

I'm not in slack so what do you mean by no dividends this time ?? can you please screenshot what Adam said
3765  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why do bitcoin poker only sites keep closing? on: January 11, 2017, 02:45:31 PM
Haven't played bitcoin poker for a while, just when I started looking for my old sites they are both closed, I probably even had some chips in there, bitcoin is rising since Trump entered the scene, why are poker sites suffering?

Because the poker boom happened in 2003 and the sites that established themselves in that time are the ones who have survived, due to network effect also.  BTC sites have only been around after 2010 its hard to get a player base.  What we need is for BTC games to run on all sites in BTC.

well yeah but the market is keep changing , take party poker as an example as they were the top site in the world and now they aren't even in top3
and now pokerstars is doing horrible changes and this may change their position

but when it comes to btc  most players are afraid to turn to btc due the price factor , maybe when btc is more steady more players will show interest in btc cause the main problem is the lack of players
3766  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin after decision China !! on: January 11, 2017, 02:17:28 PM
nothing to worry about , regulating the exchanges may not be liked by many people but I'm sure that there is nothing to worry about
some people for sure are selling , even if I was a day trader I would had shorted bitcoin today after the news cause it's expected but everything should be fine in the next month or so

it's just disappointed when it comes to timing  cause we were expecting a good run with the price  Sad

hope that bitdice will keep growing , I tried the site and I really liked it even I wasn't able to win ( unless one time   Smiley )
just wanted to ask about the levels and the other VIP rewards , are they only related to BTC or the other coins too
cause I played with BTC and DOGE and as I remember I wasn't able to get VIP points when I played with DOGE , I may be wrong tho but just want to make sure   Cheesy
3769  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Over 25,000 mBTC in Monthly Leaderboards + Regular MONEYBACKS ⚽ on: January 09, 2017, 01:53:33 PM
There was a mistake on terms and conditions of the NHL promo and i placed my bets on Total spreads and Match winner before the terms were corrected
Fortunately i won both the bets at a great odds lol  Grin

lucky lol I'm still waiting for my refund Tongue sadly winnepigs crumbled in the last round Sad

hehe I went for winnepigs but I can't complain since it's a free shot also I literally know nothing about NHL
i just found the promotion then opened OLBG and found that most people there are going for winnepigs and I went as they suggested  Grin
BTW the refunds should be today right ?? cause I don't know what's the time zone that the site follows
3770  Economy / Gambling / Re: suggest some btc sportsbook similar to bet365/betfair on: January 09, 2017, 01:48:57 PM
Hi all,
I want to know,is there any bitcoin sportsbook that offer cashout during the gameplay like bet365?
Also i want to know which bitcoin sports betting site offer some bonus on 1st deposit?
Let me know please.

Thank you

AFAIK there is no bitcoin bookie that offer cashout yet , but I'm sure that we will see it in the future
and for the first deposit powerbet is currently offering a good bonus with only X8 rollover , check out their thread

3771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum future on: January 09, 2017, 11:08:43 AM
ETH would be a great currency if the programmers are more serious about it , and if they didn't get rich from it  Embarrassed
in general no one can be certain about ETH future , some people saying it's the future and others saying that it will disappear soon
personally I prefer btc since it's way safer and it's proved to be a winner bet , but can't give an advice especially about ETH
3772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To those who says Bitcoin is too expensive for a virtual item on: January 08, 2017, 01:46:28 PM
yeah definitely some people are missing that but in my experience this is not the main concern of the people who I know , cause they know that the local currency worth nothing too ( working a full month to get 40 plastic papers )
the main concern that I have faced is that people are afraid that there may be more coins in the future , and if they invest in BTC then maybe a new coin will steal the lights
3773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do they payout bigger wins at Sports.betcoin.ag on: January 08, 2017, 10:02:29 AM
We all know this case when betcoin.ag refused to credit huge progressive slots jackpot. But the question was about their sportsbook.
And I personally never heard of any case where they refused to honor lucky bet, mainly because of limits. So most likely they wouldn't have a problem with it.

But considered their shady behavior I wouldn't recommend playing on their site at all, there are better sportsbooks you can chose from:
Sportsbet.io, directbet.eu, nitrogensports.eu and more.

it was the slots providers fault not Betcoin's , and it was discussed many times before so I'm not going to rediscuss it
and by the way the site that you are promoting and recommending also provides Betsoft games and this could happen with any site that offers Betsoft games

I hate Betsoft so much , but all the good bitcoin casinos offer their games
3774  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Over 25,000 mBTC in Monthly Leaderboards + Regular MONEYBACKS ⚽ on: January 07, 2017, 01:59:38 PM
I hate to agree with the haters club but this is quite deceptive, specially the post stating the condition of the moneyback being just placing a bet on the winner/ Unlike the others I do like playing here and even have a VIP account but If I did follow the promotion "and I almost did" would be quite pissed if it turned out to require 2 bets instead of 1, At least make that clear without the need to read the fine-print and exact terms (and the previous one like this, it was clear it required 2 bets).

This is how promotion works imho, we must check for the complete terms of the promo especially if the promo sounds too good to be true. Otherwise we may regret it in the end of the promo.

Hi Bitinity and others,

Please note that we have changed the moneyback NHL promo terms & conditions so that you only have to make one single bet on the winner!  Cool

No other additional bet is needed to be eligible for this promo  Cool

Cheers,
sportsbet.io

OMG is that real !!! like a 100% 100mbtc freeroll or am I missing something here ? cause it sounds too good to be true this time
I don't know anything about NHL but if it's really a free shot then I have to take it for sure

so all I have to do is placing 100 mbtc on the match winner , and if I lose you will refund the bet and if I win I will take the money with the profit  Shocked

Hi SyGambler,

That's absolutely correct! Smiley No hidden terms here, just bet on the winner and if your bet loses we refund up to 100 mBTC! Smiley

Cheers,
sportsbet.io

oh great , but I still don't fully understand the offer since I don't know anything about hockey
should we bet on the first line which has Bufallo , Draw and Winnepeg or should we bet on the match winner including OT ??

3776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Advertising on: January 07, 2017, 01:17:32 PM
I do agree with you that alts need advertising , but I'm pretty  sure that the NASCAR car didn't bring that attention to DOGE
there are plenty of simple advertising solutions that may bring good results , like sponsoring a big twitch show for example for a decent gamer
it won't cost that much and it should bring decent results
3777  Economy / Gambling / Re: TOP / BEST Bitcoin Sportsbooks by daily ODDS on: January 07, 2017, 12:02:23 PM
it looks like powerbet is really good , I'm still worried about them being a new bookie so maybe I will join it two months later from now
in general every sportsbettor should have account in all the trusted sites , and every serious bettor should avoid DirectBet  Grin

occasionally the odds in sportsbet are better than  Nitro , so it's not fixed and that's why it's better to have accounts in all the trusted ones
3778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: January 07, 2017, 11:53:55 AM
personally I use blockchain for spending and daily activities and I'm not recommending it by the way , but I have been using it for over two years and didn't face any problem
for savings I use paper wallets cause I can't get a trezor here , but yeah paper wallets are great too
3779  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic selling started ! on: January 05, 2017, 01:24:18 PM
I think it's a good time to grab more bitcoins , but the price is really moving fast like in two mins or so it moved from 870 to 910
still can't understand what's going on at the moment , cause btc was climbing so fast and then something insane happened

didn't imagine that we can see such move  Huh Huh
3780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin mining on: January 05, 2017, 10:58:26 AM
at the time of the first bitcoin the level of difficulty was low and mining could be done with personal computers. can i do altcoin mining with my laptop? if yes, which altcoin do you recommend?

I have zero mining experience but I'm sure that mining using your laptop won't bring any good results , unless the coin is proof of stake
currently I'm holding some omicrons (OMC) which is an investment platform and it's POS , so I'm able to mine some coins with my laptop without worrying about it since it depends on how much coins you have not how much hash power you have
