I don't know why but I literally hate to have the free coins from hard-forks... Anybody around like me?  My CPA said to ignore it, like a stock split. If you sell a taxable event on the whole gain. Wait a year and a day for normal capital gains. The IRS is rabid about money from nothing. |

Did you get an l3+ 462m is the magic spot, FYI. They work. I have 3 L3+'s yet to go up this week. They all seem to work ok prev to this, unsure of settings I have had may/july/oct batches of them approx 7 equiv (with l3's) L3+'s up till now..these $1650 3 L3+'s will put me at 10 equiv all work at the data hall w/o issue..up to this point I guess it will all shake out in the wash...I do know we I will need about $100 buck LTC (as a guide) by Jan 2018 for me to keep the KNC Titans up at around $5 a day...and that is VERY OPTIMISTIC with difficulty and that price etc anyway, just to keep it on topic...if I make $5 bucks on titans say I make like $5.75 on an L3 and $11.50 on an L3+...so the diff between a Titan 300mh and an L3 falling off the world .....mining scrypt wise is not that much...we need some price pump or difficulty will run both over ...again imho and optimistic the scenario above in my view I wouldn't count on L3 making a lot once all these batches land. Thus my point...the L3 is 75c a day ahead at $5.75 vs my $5 per day KNC Titan. Thus when/if the Titans go 'doorstop' the L3's will not be far behind....the L3+'s at that point in time would inherit the $5 a day claim.... We need a 100 buck price pump, say in LTC, by Jan 2018 to keep things more or less where they are now profit wise...not real hopeful  Will really, really suck if all the above units I mention...all miss say a price pump too far down the line to help the difficulty wise...would again suck if we saw say 100 buck LTC too late to make any difference to the above equipment as 'doorstops'.....would be a 'so close yet soooo far' deal |

your electric and hosting rate will have everything to do with this. AT my 12c kWh....that 100 unit boat above would sink as a 'fleet' I'd use prohashing and get paid out in a variety of coins you HOPE would pump and float that boat.you can spread it around on payout for any x11 or scrypt pow coin ...btc and or bch too for that matter....(it has that option) (hey, its an angle) |

Does anyone else have a Nov 1 order that hasn't been marked as shipped yet? I realize that this may sound dumb since we aren't even in Nov yet but I have seen quite a few people on here saying that they've already received their Nov 1 order and that they shipped early.
I doubt very many Nov 1-15th miners have gone out, no word yet on mine Any update on this? I’m curious as to how many nov orders have been shipped and even received? None as far as I know.....the Oct batch I heard was late...so we could lose a couple weeks also it may come to pass as well My friend just received 2 x D3 early November batch yesterday, I know because I helped him set it up. I'm in that batch...so far nothing from bitmain and order shows as not shipped..he likely was in the tiny batch before the true Nov 1-15th batch (and it was a tiny makeup batch from the previous unpaid wire xfer fiasco, the week prev to that) ...anyway, that, or the dang things will just show up unannounced on my doorstep with NO email, that has happened before AT $11.23 currently with my 17gh (reboot every 2 days as it drops to 11gh) D3 unit at 12c kwh and 950 watts.....it all may be MOOT real quick.....ie $5 a day does not the ROI make..... |

(more or less at this time) https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/bitcoingoldAccording to my CPA lady (USA tax time) ..it likely will be treated by IRS as a stock split..ie if you don't touch it ...it will not be a taxable event thus don't have to report this $200 buck unicorn $$$ from the air...to them, If I wait 1 year and 1 day...then 20% capital gains vs 40% capital gains before then If I were to cash it out at this profit...all taxable (at 50% tax rate this year I am) so that seems silly, same game with bitcore coin, and Bitcoin Cash and byteball etc and segwit2x+2mb at the middle of Nov when it pops as well anyway, how I'm playing it ...FYI in the usa....(the IRS really, really does not like money falling out of the sky..or gold dug out of the ground, etc and not getting some of the 'action', don't ya know)...thus the waiting game on all the above for 1 year and 1 day to get to at least 20% only capital gains tax vs cashing out now . (I wonder how all this is gonna play out) anyway ....how I"m approaching the coming everyone and his brother camping on my btc blockchain to claim a new ALT trend |

Memory Lane... This new assbot made me think when we had our Chartbuddy companion telling us the price situation every once in a while. If you were there don't laugh at those prices where holding strong was a must. AcK! the missed boats in that chart.....AcK! Is it just me ....or is it getting harder to think MOON when BTC was like what $850 usd last year and it is now $5.5K? I mean, for me to think the equiv to that the 5.5K at the same pop would be $35.58K! (er...my head hurts....) Anyway, getting hard to wrap my head around these prices.....just an observation...I mean hell.....It has been a bit over 4 years since I got into crypto 550gh KNC Jupiter BTC miner 0ct 18th, 2013....btc was $150 usd the day I turned it on I think....it almost made 1 btc a day, again if I remember right so long ago ... don't ya know, a whole FOUR YEARS! anyway, just an aside as I ponder the future edit: I miss 'Chart Buddy' |

It's just a scam coin trying to get some free advertisement and exposure by being a fork of BTC instead of doing an ICO.
Unfortunately, imho, this will be the new method to make ALT coins now. Especially, with ICO’s now being outlawed. I expect dozens of dubious forks off btc as a result. 😔 |

The ROI will take a long time with these, that is sure. Maybe even 2 years. Why do you think they are "not profitable in March" anymore ? To have that scenario happen, the market would have to be flooded waaay more than it is. If you look at the link I provided it shows how difficulty increases by 15% every month By looking at current difficulty and the estimate L3+ will not pay its electricity in 2018 ROI in 2 years will not happen as electricity will cost more than income Yeah my 'guesstimate' is that LTC will have to hit $100 bucks say by Jan 1st for me to make the same $$$ I do today..being really optimistic at 12c kwh electric (using LTC as an example.....you'd get better results with a multipool..just saying) |
